Comfortable and peaceful -- my mom and I visited for a basic mani/pedi, and really liked sitting on a comfortable antique sofa, soaking our feet in large copper basins.The nail stylists (is that the proper reference?) were friendly and welcoming. It seemed that all the other patrons were regular customers. My mom and I were visiting from out of town and were referred by a friend.It was the luck of the draw that my stylist was experienced at both the body mechanics of enjoyable foot and leg message, along with tending well to the proper care of callouses, cuticles, nail beds, and the cosmetic aspects of painting nails. Several days later, and I still like the way my hands and feet look and feel.My mom, however, wasnt as lucky, and it seems her stylist was fairly inexperienced. The foot and leg massage was tentative, and the actual application of polish was uneven and not really up to par.That said, we both left the salon feeling relaxed and cared for. I will return, should I be in the area again.EDIT TO ADD:The owner/manager called and kindly offered my mom another manicure, though we werent able to follow through to schedule. I greatly appreciate the gesture, and that confirms that I will return when Im back in the area again.

Nothing has been lazily designed or skipped. Every detail of the establishment feels personal and loved. The prices are reasonable, especially for the service offered. I felt cared for and well guided, and the service was not rushed like most other nail salons I have been to.

Very friendly staff. Super accommodating. Witnessed the receptionist give honest feedback to a potential customer about her request. There seemed to be good teamwork. And I absolutely loved the look/feel of the experience. It was worth every dollar and Ill be coming back.

My daughter and I visited while on vacation and this is a place you must go to when in Coronado. The shop is adorable and the staff is amazing. Our nails looks fabulous and my daughter is already asking when she can go back.

Tracy did my pedicure and was fantastic. It’s clear she loves her job and enjoys taking care of people. I love the copper foot soak bowls, and the amount of time she spent with my callouses. BE polished is classy, and convenient. I can’t wait to come back...

The workers were very kind and the aesthetic was lovely, but the quality of my manicure was quite poor. I went in for a polish removal and a simple clear coat to protect my nails but they turned out bumpy/grainy and very uneven looking.When I gave a low rating through their texting system, an individual kindly reached out to ask what the problem was. When I texted back and sent the picture that I’ll attach here, he/she simply said “Thank you for letting me know,” which I didn’t really think was sufficient for the money I paid to have my nails done.EDIT: The worker reached out again and offered for me to come in to see what could be done, which I appreciated.

I had the best experience at this salon. My nails needed some love real bad. Since knowing I needed a lot of work done on my nails, I wanted someone that knew what they were doing and could do a good job. Not only did BE Polished did a good job, she did an AMAZING job. It looks so natural and flows beautifully.

I stayed on Coronado Island a couple a few weeks ago and had a gel manicure and pedicure done here. What an amazing experience! My gel manicure lasted for well over two weeks and my pedicure felt amazing! I was given a neck pillow and mimosas and really enjoyed talking to the ladies, they were fun and friendly and made the start of my long weekend very enjoyable. I will be back next time I’m in town!!

I went in as a new customer last minute sometime last week and was trying to get a gel manicure and pedicure and had a great experience they were very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend!

I go here for my me time. I always have a great time. I love the staff, they r like family and my fingers, toes and brows always look great!!!! p.s. the mimosas are great too

The owner is very kind and the woman who did my pedicure was outstanding. The warm neck pillow and complimentary mimosa was a real treat. However, BE Polished doesn’t have pedicure chairs with whirlpool tubs. One sits on a sofa, soaks their feet in a large copper bowl, (which is fine), but then places their feet in the lap of the nail technician for the actual pedicure. For me, it wasn’t relaxing or physically comfortable. Also, the selection of nail polish was minimal. A lot of the bottles were old and gloppy. If you go here, I recommend bringing your own polish. It’s hard for me to leave this review because I really liked the hardworking people at BE Polished, the pedicure was great, but the experience itself was subpar.

By far one of the best nail salons in San Diego. Not overpriced and great work but people who are so sweet. I love the copper bowls and how clean everything is. Lovely!

Love my gel manicure and the friendliness and helpfulness of the ladies here! I had a last-minute appointment and the ladies were able to accommodate three of us. We love the complimentary beverages and the wide selection of colors!

Amazing results with warm, detail oriented and fun people. Warm neck pillows and mimosas were a real treat. Everyone made my daughters 22nd birthday amazing. They also treated this sweet 5 year old like a princess. Very unique and worth the price. As a teacher I am not rich, but a fun and peaceful atmisphere is worth a little more. The prices here are probably a little more than a regular salon, but they take thrir time and do not overbook like most places.

Be Polished is every girls dream! Its like going to a day spa for a manicure or pedicure but without the high price! You can literally see the ocean from their entrance on Adella Ave right by the Hotel Del and across from Miguelitos.The ambiance here is fantastic and you sit comfortably on a chic couch while they bring a big Grecian style bowl for you to soak your feet into and they give you a pedicure right there.This is a great spot to go with girlfriends because you can literally sit on a couch with them while you get pedicures. They have am amazing selection of colors mostly Butter brand which is such a lux brand!They also offer lash extensions which I saw the owners wearing and they looked subtle but sophisticated....Ill definitely try them next time!

Very relaxing experience - excellent workmanship!!

I felt totally ripped off. Had a gel mani and regular pedi. The pedi was fine not great, just fine. The gel mani was terrible. The removal of old gel was rough, my nails were not filed evenly. Had to even out when I got home. The polish was not applied evenly and went over my cuticles. The polish looked sloppy. The whole experience cost $75 and I have had better results at half the price. My first time here and my last. I really wanted to like this place.
