My company was contracted by Mr. Berton to perform work on 8/17/18 at which time he signed a contract and wrote a check for the services we provided. Mr. Bertons check was returned by the bank for insufficient funds. I called Mr. Berton several times, each time he told me he would call me right back. He never did. I also wrote a letter requesting payment. I have yet to hear from him. I have read the other reviews and I see this practice has happened to several people. I would suggest the other reviewers submit a complaint to Contractors State License Board. As a licensed business owner, I assure you the Licensing Board would be interested in hearing your story.

Hi. Every one. NEW NAME. ON THIS COMPANY IS “BERTON BUIDERS AND DESING. “. Walsh out for this guyI used to be a subcontractor for him.He give out checks. No funds.I tray to collect on a nice way..By calling leaving massage he wouldnt return my calls . When I finally got to talk to himHe was really mad.. and was cuzing at me ..That is definitely not a good relationship with subcontractors... I will never do a job for this guy forget this.. be aware .....subs get a cashier check. No company checks. It will bounce.........good luck ......

This company uses inexperienced workers with the worst cheap materials. Did a project that was to be done in three months it took over a year to completed with delays debris left all over the property. Very poor quality construction we still have alot of flaws we are trying to get fixed crooked wall, garage doors that do not work patched up exterior he never comes to the job and hires inexperienced guys off the street to work on your property. Beware!
