Good prices, newer trucks. Very reasonable but you cannot reserve a truck.

BEWARE, YOU CANNOT COUNT ON GETTING A TRUCK. Two days before my move I was contacted by the Mooresville office that they would not have any trucks. Do not assume you are all set once you reserve a truck. They take your reservation knowing full well there is a good chance they wont have trucks. They do not move trucks around to accommodate reservations. If you reserve a truck the only way youll actually get it is if someone else happens to return one to that location.

I made a reservation with Budget on Sunday, February 4th for a 26 foot truck to be picked up today, February 6th. I get a call this morning at 8 am letting me know that they do not have the truck available at this location. They moved the reservation to Concord. When you try to get the representative back on the phone, it’s not possible. I feel like this is a Budget issue, not so much the business owners fault, but I won’t be using budget again.

Great truck for great price! Mooresville office was efficient and easy to work with in a convenient location.

I reserved a truck for my big move across the state with budget 2 weeks prior to it. The Friday before my move (my move was on a Saturday), they called at 5:05 pm and left me a message that the truck was no longer available— and they had confirmed my reservation that Thursday. When I called back at 5:07 pm, they were closed and coorporate tried to charge me double for a smaller VAN.They are unrealiable and I will NEVER recommend them. I struggled to find another truck anywhere else with that short notice and my move almost didn’t happen— thanks to them. Do NOT use them.
