I would have gone 5 but... I took an initial walk around the buffet as this was my first time to a golden coral. It was 5:10 pm there were a few containers of the cold salads that were empty. There were a plate of deviled eggs that needed to be rotated out as they were starting to looked sad and crusty. Other items just needed to be stirred. Then I came to the sirloin. I asked for a medium rare as that was the closest on the board to rare that it said I could ask for. The lady serving went to cut me an 8oz size piece off a 16oz slice, I took both🥰. Then I asked for some of the smoked sirloin. It was so tender as the was trying to cut me a piece it fell apart. I was so happy I got told to quit running in the restaurant as I headed back to my table. J/K. The smoked sirloin was the better of the 2, but the grilled sirloin was delicious also. All together I probably ate 1.5lbs of beef and had a huge smile on my face as my server, I think her name was Traci, gave me a piggy back ride to my truck since I was to full to walk to it.

This is one of those places where it gets all five stars for me just because of all the factors even though it is under construction the location is perfect it has a Holiday Inn a Motel 6 a Dennys in front Arbys on the side. Also the service was really good a tentative and the food was amazing it really was I can eat there all day but then Ill get really fat bathrooms at the moment were clean even though they were closing by I do recommend this place for everyone

Absolutely loved it. The service was amazing. Food was awesome. So many choices. I had a coupon for a buy one buffet get one free for my birthday. They have good lunch deals.

They recently got a new chef and I can definitely say the food is improved.,*****The reason for the 4* and not 5* was that my daughter loves steak and the first serving was quite fatty and grisly and over cooked from what she asked for; however the serving serving she said was perfect... had the first steak been like the second definitely would have been a 5* review. Stopped this morning against my better judgement. I have had bad experiences at Golden Coral before. Everything was clean, food was good. Girl up front, waitress and manager were all very nice. Food was awesome. I will definitely be back.

Late in evening just before closing. Salty greens and macaroni. Mashed potatoes were too salty as was the gray. High point was a good and friendly waitress who didnt mind the lateness of the day. She was very attentive and refilled our drinks and supplied extra silverware.

The food was pretty standard. The employees were great! They welcome you with southern hospitality from the time you walk through the front door and when you leave.The waitress who waited on me and others in my area was awesome!!!

The food was really good and the service was great. Sherry (sorry if I misspelled her name) gave us amazing service but in all everyone was great. Im giving 3 stars because the mens bathroom can have more cleaning done to it. Everything else was great.

My waitress was wonderful, however the cashier didnt offer us the option to get money back so we could tip our waitress. Even if she was a new hire, the person training her (who was standing next to her) should have told her to ask. But other then that, the food was good and hot! Dining area was clean and inviting.

They had a wide variety to choose from. My only negative to say about this place was that it couldve been cleaner.To the owner.... My family and I would like to try your buffet again. Hopefully you will have the 4 of us as your guest. I have lots of restraunts experience so maybe my tips and knowledge could help.

It was a really nice experience as a family gathering. The food was great! I went on an off time with my family (2 to 3:30), but they still had a lot to choose from and they were constantly bringing out hot fresh food.For a buffet, the price was quite reasonable. And the whole atmosphere was very family forward, which was a plus for me.The waitress was super sweet and very attentive. Loved it, and we will be back again!

It was an O.K. visit, nothing special. The food was so, so have not been there in a while but I dont remember it being like that the last time I was there. The first glass of tea you get at the register tasted just like bleach. I do understand that a place of business has to make sure that the germs are killed but you can do it with out the Customer thinking that their drinking bleach. And the food was a whole lot better when I was there before. I understand also that the waitress get busy but to come by a table only 3 times while you are there? Come on now!!! And the food was not kept out like it should have been. And for what you have to pay now. Yes me say I want BE BACK NO TIME SOON!!!!!!!!!

Its golden corral so you pretty much know what youre going to get. The steaks that they cook on the grill for you are ok... definitely not a great cut, but theyre fresh and with a dab of salt and pepper are certainly edible. Its perfectly acceptable for a quick meal out...just dont do what I did and have a buffet and then get on the road for 4 hours. Not wise...

Got foods hot! Especially the shrimp! Love that there is truck parking now! Just wish I could take a doggy bag. Chicken wings looked like they could be cooked a little longer before I will try them. Dessert was good, love the cupcakes, little more variety of flavors but love the cupcakes. Strawberry cheese cake was delicious. Fudge a little heavy but good. Comes back to service. She was a great waitress. Will be back.

Dont bother with the vegetables as most are overcooked and tasteless (? typical buffet). Fried okra is fine as long as its fresh. Salad bar looks very good. Chili over salted and not much flavor. Mexican rice had some funky off flavor. Brisket was tender but dry. Pot roast very good but veges undercooked and crunchy. Steak flavorful but so salty through-out (? over-brined) that it was only edible in small bites and with another piece of blander food. BBQ ribs good. Rolls yeasty and soft but again, very salty. Hush puppies were crisp with good cornmeal flavor. Delightful staff. Our first and last time here.

Great customer service. Freda was our server and she was awesome. The food was good, but some could of been more fresh. I suggested hand sanitizer near plates.

First walking in the smell was less than to be desired but we were starving and wanted a buffet-looking back I wished wed just walked back out; Food .... Bar lacked food to begin with and what I ate was not the food I remember from a Golden Corral. The taters and broccoli were dried out; waited 20 mins for chicken; very little desserts (glad I was an ice cream kinda gal); steaks were the best thing off the bar; the bar needed cleaning up & straightening but was not a bad turn off. Service ... not any better. I will not return back to this one unless Ive read more positive than negative especially after this experience.

This golden corral looks like a large buffet but it is one of the smaller buffets in this chain. While the food was good their just wasnt a wide variety of foods like at other chain stores. One bonus ( if you like true southern food) id that the cook her cook like they would at home. Seasonings and added flavor are comparable to a grandmothers Sunday dinner in the south. Dont come here looking for health food, this is good old comfort food.

I will be honest most golden corral restaurants I normally give a 3 star but I had to give this one a 4 if not for for the great food and well stocked salad bar but for the most part the friendly helpful and hard working wait staff. These ladies were kind, happy, helpful and down right pleasant to be around. Its hard to find a well kept and good hard working waitress these days and these ladies are that. Thanks to them for making our dining experience are happy and pleasant end to our night.

Hey, what can I say, Golden Corral Buffet is the best cooked food other than your mama, grandma, well even dad or granddad. What you say, cant touch this, I will open the door and get it myself. Its all most like, you are sitting at a 16 seat dining table but longer. The only drawback is, you are the one who goes to the buffet for your own refills. You got to try eating at Golden Corral, the Southern fried chicken, fish, shrimp, hot vegetables and there are more varieties of delicious foods to sample but please dont tell your wife or mama why you arent hungry when you get home 😊 Harold

On my way to FL I decided to have a quick early lunch and Golden Corral was right off the highway. Food was hot and greens cold and crispy.I asked my server what her favorite item was - she said broiled fish. It was good and server was very attentive. If Im in the area I would stop by again.

Great salad bar & fruit bar also great chocolate wonderfall tower for the kids/ has strawberrys & marshmallows! My 10 year old son had a blast at the dessert bar/ he got cotton Candy too!!! He kept saying mama wow is this all free! I said yes son its a buffet its all free & included! So kid friendly****family friendly***** nice Deals for lunch also- quick and easy for people on their lunch breaks, we had our thanksgiving dinner there- there was no wait & the Waitresses were all friendly and got us a table pulled up all together!!! I love Golden Corral. We had a party of 9. The service was excellent. But the food was not good. We were there at 3 pm. Im guessing they were in between lunch and dinner, but for whatever reason the food was not good. Because we have enjoyed excellent food in the past we wont let one off day keep us from trying again.

It was good but limited selection... Then again I did go during lunch. Im sure they have more during dinner. Staff was courteous and attentive. Ample seating and you can reserve for a larger party. I will definitely stop here again:-)

The Early Bird Special which consists of a beverage, the all you can eat buffet complete with a delicious salad fruit bar combo and dessert bar which was out of this world made this a wonderful meal with which to end a Saturday!! Great price, Great food!!

Food preparation could have been improved. Salad bar had many items that were unmistakably well beyond prime.

It was ok. Steak was overcooked. Broccoli was too hard. Corn was too soft. A lot of what was in the buffet was either sat there too long. Or prepared by people who dont know how to cook. I love golden corral. Ive eaten a dozens of these places all over the country. This is the first time the food was substandard.

Golden Corrals food and service were great as usual. Only unexpected thing is that now they close at 9 pm. I thought it was 20 pm.

Im at a loss of words. Excellent hosting and hospitality. Such sweet Ladies and personalities (I should mention also attractive). I must say, after hours of driving; the food was cooked to perfection and totally hit the spot. Well done!!!!

This was the worst Golden Corral Ive ever been in the service was good but thats about it. Food was bland or so salty you couldnt eat it. The ceiling was very dirty looking and dripping water on us as we were putting food onto our plates.

Pricey on the drinks, and to go cups even more. They gave me a child size to go. Bathrooms are nasty, dirty and not in good working order ( hubby says men).

Went there for breakfast because I was having a taste for a variety of food. Wish I didnt make the decision. I truly did not enjoy. Food there wasnt really hot some of the items was like just lukewarm and wasnvery tasty.

Stopped about 7:30 black friday. Pulled up and the place was empty, shouldve been sign. Had to dig down 4/5 plates and bowls before I found 1 clean one. The food had a hard crust over it and the servers just mixed everything back together. One of the managers was walking through the kitchen wiping her nose then took it upon herself to go mixed the old food back together. No, she didnt wash her hands first. I will stick to the one in Tifton from now on. I only gave 2 stars because our waitress was amazing.

My husband and I stopped on our way from Florida. The service was extremely good for todays standard. The expansive bar was full of varied fruits, veges, meats and desserts. And it was quite good and overly filling. Plan to stop again the next time were in the area.

Poor management, 25 minutes to cook catfish fillets.i guess they had to go down to Flint River and catch them and clean them.Ribs were not falling off the bone as advertised. Only positive about the visit was the waitress .

Mediocre Golden Coral. A lot of the food looked really old. For some reason, I decided to get a slice of pizza and it was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like it was sitting out for at least an hour. The best part of my meal was the cupcake I had since it was just put out and was fresh. If you want fresh food, and if they arent busy you will have to wait awhile. My mom and I were there around 2 and stayed for about 45 minutes and they didnt have any fresh food out until we got up to leave.

Really nice waitress. Food was pretty good. There was some foods empty when I went up but by the time I went up for my second plate they were filled. The cook gave my steak away but made it up by bring it to the table. The place was very clean and the workers were very polite.

This was a very bad experience..... The food of was dried up an old. It was a waste of money! My kid wouldnt eat anything not even a cupcake which is her favorite.

I was traveling else I wouldnt have stopped there. It reminded me why I quit going to buffets. Horrible. Empty containers. Wilted spinach. Roaches on the walls. Our waitress was nice. That was the only redeeming factor.

The establishment is very clean and well kept. The food it mediocre at it worst. Something just arent good once they have SAT for a little bit. Other things get better when sitting so with that in mind the food was surprisingly good. Right off the highway so its a good convenience. I would stop by here again.

AS WAS THE BURNED HUSHPUPPIES .IT WAS ALL BAD. 30MINS LAYER STILL NO POTATOES OR NEW CHICKEN. I GAVE UP AND WENT TO YOUR DESSERT BAR WHICH WAS FINE. I SAW A MANAGER AND TOLD HIM WHAT WAS HAPPENING ON HIS BAR. HE WENT THAT WAY. G.W. HAD TO TRY AND EAT GRILLED CHK. I DIDNT COME TO YOUR PLACE TO EAT VEGGIES. YOU CAN TAKE LESSONS FROM ALBANY AND TIFTON. ITS A SHAME.

Service was horrible when I went. The lady at the register wasn’t even at her register and when she saw me waiting she still was flirting with the man at the meat bar. When I got a tray from her after 5 minuets I went to go get some steak, the man saw me and looked at me but didn’t do anything for a good 2 minuets. I asked for well done steak he gave me medium rare steak. I didn’t notice till I got home because I got a take out tray. The vegetables were under cooked and hard to eat. I just had a really bad experience here.

I have eaten here often,and it has been good, but the last several times the buffet was extremely low on food and were not replenished while I was there. If this continues I will find another place to eat vegetables.

Just stopped here for dinner while traveling. The selection was great, the food delicious, and the service friendly. I dont know of any other place to eat where you get so much value for your money. Always recommend Golden Corral.
