Kind staff, bad service. Definitely not worth $45. Ive had better service for less. My nails are messy and it doesn’t even look like it’s on the nail bed. Also have glue all over my fingers.

Very clean and kind staff. Very hit or miss with quality though. There’s 2 girls that do manicures that are great. Others are mediocre. Unfortunately just got one of the worst gel fills I’ve probably every gotten from anywhere before. Debating if I should try finding somewhere else to get nails done that can be more consistent 😕

I went to grace nails hoping for a good time with my friends. We went in and they sat me down first. I asked for the no chip natural nails, they started on my service and it seemed fine at first. When they started with the polish I was concerned because it looked a little chunky. As the service continued I saw that there were a few nails wasn’t all the way filled in the polish went flat but it seemed fine I am not one for confrontation so I didn’t say anything I knew in the shop it was screwed up but as I left I was looking at them more and there different shapes and lengths. My friends weren’t satisfied either. 2/10 wouldn’t go again. Beware stay away

Very nice pedicure, I was a able to get in quickly without an appointment even though it was busy. They used both a base coat and a top coat which many places dont do. I was able to find an OPI color I liked which is my preferred brand of polish. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. If you do make an appointment at least one day ahead for a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday they will give you 20% off all services. I will be back.

I had come up for my birthday and this was my present from my husband I have a Manny Petty everybody seem nice the only thing I disagreed with was I have never been anywhere that did the manicure and pedicure at the same time in my case I didn’t feel like I got To enjoy either one it seemed very rushed and people change the main stream I have always had like my pedicure done and then they take you over to another table and do your manicure I think you should be given a choice if you want it all done in the same chair I particularly did not because when they’re working on your legs and feet you want to relax and enjoy that and then have your nails done afterwards not sure I would go back if it was done this way

One of the best in town! I’ve been to a few salons around the Coralville and Iowa city area and I regret not coming here sooner. Love my nails today, will definitely be back.

I have been to this salons before and things have always been so rushed. I went in recently and the customer service was absolutely terrible. I was told I would have to wait 20 minutes which was fine but when they started on my nails and I told them I would like tips they told me I would have to wait longer. I sat there for almost an hour waiting for someone to finish my nails that had already been filed down. One lady came to start but told me she wasn’t going to do mine after grabbing a few things and then she returned again and began to start but then proceeded to tell me she was going to do another clients nails first. I sat there with nails that had already been filed down for so long until I got so annoyed and just left. I would 199% not recommend everything is too rushed and they have very poor customer service.

I called ahead and made an appointment for 5pm, and they didn’t start my nails until 6:15pm. The lady was rushing so fast she cut my skin around my nails 7 times. After 1 day one of the acrylic nails had fallen off, 6 days later they have all fallen off. Will not go back.

My visit here was on a busy day, so I had to wait around 15 minutes. However, they did an good job on my nails and the gal was very friendly. Will be returning.

Claire did my nails for a wedding and when I last went to Las Vegas! She was amazing. She did what I asked and more!

Everything was great up until getting my nails actually painted. One of my toes had paint all over the skin. Im more upset just because thats really the main reason of going and paying $40 I expect to have better results than when I do it myself.

I got my nails done for Prom at this establishment. I went in on a Thursday and by prom that Saturday most of them were chipped. My nail polish started coming off that very day that I got them done. At one point I was sat in a chair with no instruction for 15 minutes while the person painting my nails was on her phone. I havent allowed anyone to take photos of my nails since I got them done. Very disappointed.

Its clean and you have an appointment and stick to that time and I have a sore ankle this week and it took longer waiting to get a chair and a half a hour to get nails done and always come early not later or look for another place.

I always have a wonderful experience at Grace nails. Kay has been doing my fingernails for quite some time now, she always has great suggestions for colors to try, and does a wonderful job. I especially like how friendly everyone is. I like the dipping powder used here, there is a great selection of colors.

It was my first time coming here as I’ve heard many great things about it. It “felt” clean, although social distancing was out of the question. Everyone was required to wear a mask and wash their hands per safety protocol, so that was a little relief for the amount of customers in attendance. Nice ambiance. Great music. Great decor. The service was mediocre for the “new prices.” There is a note at the checkout station, which disclaims that there is a $1.50 price increase on EVERY service. That’s not just an additional to your receipt upon checkout; that’s $1.50 extra per service. I love getting the dipping powder, but was disappointed to see I was charged $34.50 for the powder, $6.50 for nail extensions, and $6.50 for my shape!!! I’ve never paid such prices anywhere else. That’s an additional total of $4.50 plus tax! Talk about PRICE GOUGING!!! Moreover, they no longer honor the 5% courtesy discount if you pay with cash that I was told numerous times and excited about. Unless you come here to see someone specifically to do your nails and your tech is better than mine who rushed my service, and you don’t mind the prices, here’s some free advice: DON’T!!!

Made us wait like 2 hours to finish our nails and toes . We sat through to sets of crowds before they finished me and my daughter. Then the job they did was disappointing both me and my daughters nails broke off the first week I paid 183.00 for garbage

Its the type of place I planned on making my permanent nail shop to patronize weekly, but being pregnant & having a baby put a slight wrench in my plan. But thats how much I liked my experience here. Easy parking, lots of space inside - several tvs for viewing, plenty of polish selections (but I bring my own), and several nail tech stations. The techs were friendly and thorough. I got a pedicure, specifically, and it was perfect. My feet felt great. I wasnt rushed. The tech took her time. Most importantly, they sanitize and keep things clean and overall, the prices are great! Definitely make them your go-to spot for nail care & pampering!

Just want to say that this nail salon is probably the best cleanest friendliest nail salon Ive ever been too! And wow an amazing job and experience, so I got a pedi and holy crap my toes look so good also the chair u sit in is a massage chair which was a again Amazing, my feet felt so good afterwards it was like walking on cushions, we called ahead a week and advance their was going to be 5 of us originally ,ow and they also provided water wine , I can honestly say we will go back again my girls and I had a great time and were super happy with everything about this place ^-^ Go their you wont regret it !

First time going here. Chose an easy nail art idea. Its not matte as I asked for. The price changed from $28 to $38 and its not acrylic its on my own nails. A bit overpriced I think.

The woman that did my pedicure did not listen to me about not digging under one specific toenail. I had to pull my foot back and tell her to stop after it was too late. I ended up having to go to quick care the next day for antibiotics. The woman that did my manicure did a wonderful job though.

I travel for work and finding a nail salon that does good work is not always easy. Grace did a wonderful job on my nails. They are the perfect length and shape. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They fixed my nails from the last salon that didn’t seem to know what they were doing. If I’m still in town for the next manicure, I know where I’ll be going. Thank you, Grace! I’ve already recommended you to one of the other ladies I work with.

I am not someone who gets my nails done religiously, but when I do get them done, I like to know that they are going to be what I wanted. I found Grace Salon through a friend over a year ago and I am SO happy with their service. I have not once left there unhappy or even slightly disappointed. I am always in love with my nails and what they do. I take their suggestions and trust them completely. They are excellent and very experienced with the dip powder manicures. When I damaged my nails two days after having them done - they fixed the nail for me right away! Jessica is wonderful at what she does and I love that even though I am not on a schedule to come visit, she always remembers me! I have gone to Jessica, Claire, and Kay and loved my experience with all of them!

I have gone here as long as I’ve been a student at the University! Awesome prices, always quick, and great service. I won’t go anywhere else because I’ve never experienced such fast work while also loving my nails every time I leave! 5 stars!!!

The two I had staff were so friendly. However I feel they had just gotten new staff and didn’t have them practice on each other before having them take on customers. My manicurist forgot to do my hand massage before painting my nails so I just didn’t get the hand massage. Also my nail polish doesn’t go all the way down to the cuticle so I removed it myself today. I was charged the full advertised price for the manicure. I got the deluxe pedicure, and was charged two dollars over the advertised price. My polish looks great and the skin treatment portion was good. When it came to the hot stone portion, the man couldn’t pick up the stone since it was so hot, so he picked it up with a towel and then started to massage my leg. I literally felt the back of my calf get seared it was still red for 24 hours and I had to put aloe on it. If a stone is too hot for you to handle, it is too hot for the customers skin.Lastly, the massage chair was great, but it is not appropriate for staff to be making fun of, laughing and pointing at someone while using it because it is making them shake. Customers come to relax and let worries go. I was really offended by that.So I was charged over what was advertised and I still tipped because I felt bad, but I shouldn’t have.

I moved here from Nashville a few months ago, and had yet to find a nail salon such as this one.First of all, I walked in without an appointment, and although it was really busy and i was nervous that they wouldn’t be able to get me in, to my surprise, i was seated right away and given dip powder colors to select from. They have the biggest variety of colors! After a few minutes of looking, a nail tech sat down and helped me pick out my color because that’s always challenging. My nails have never looked so good!!!!I strongly recommend this place and also to make an appointment because it’s pretty busy here! They get plenty of business but I’m not surprised, especially after getting my nails done.This will be my new nail salon. They have set the standard for nail service, and I refuse to go anywhere else! ! !

Went to the new Iowa City location — the ladies there were so kind! Also nice location, as well.Unfortunately, I wasnt too impressed with my set. Ive had them for little under a week and I already feel four of them loose underneath. They also have no apex.Im sure with a new location comes stress, so I really want to give them another chance! I may come back when theyre more settled and give them another try.

I love coming here. My Friend brought me here for my birthday last year, and I was Super impressed with the service. The pedicurist is super gentle with my one toe that likes to get ingrown, if I could Id be here every week.

I came in last week for the dipping powder manicure and was promptly greeted. The tech I had spoke English fluently, which was refreshing. The manicure was good and held up over the past week. There was a bit of a wait, but this is normal for any popular salon Ive been to.

I was recommended to Grace Nails by a friend and have been hooked ever since. I will never go anywhere else because they are the best in the business. I look forward to my nail appointment every few weeks as my nails always look phenomenal, the workers are so sweet, and the salon is always upbeat and fun.

I found the Grace Salon on Yelp and went in over a year ago. I always find all of the staff upbeat and friendly and have gotten the best manicures in the Iowa City area...Ive tried a number of them over the years. Claire does a sensational job, Im never disappointed, but I feel sure the others are just as meticulous as she is.

I recommend making an appointment, unless you dont mind finding something to do for a half hour when they are busy. We just got lunch close by. They do allow walk-ins. They have many services and colors to choose from. This was my first time going with a friend, very nice and organized. Staff is witty and fun to chat with! Will return!

I got a gel manicure at the new location on Gilbert St. during the 50 percent-off deal. The service was fine, and the manicure looked nice when I left the salon. However, the gel polish lasted less than a week. I had one nail completely off within seven days of my appointment, and the rest peeled off shortly after. I was incredibly disappointed.

I just tried this brand new nail salon and it was fabulous! The customer service was extraordinary. The place is immaculately clean and sanitary. It was really relaxing and they have four different scents to choose from when getting a pedicure. The massage chairs were the best I have experienced at any nail salon. (No, I dont know the owners and did not get any discount to write this review). My new favorite nail salon in the area!

Before coming to Grace Nails, and having tried other nail salons in Iowa City, North Liberty, Coralville, Cedar Rapids, and even in Davenport, my nails have never looked this good or been this healthy! I love the dip powder, and no one has quite mastered it like Grace Nails. I almost gave up on it after trying it and being really displeased at other nail salons.This nail salon deserves more than five stars for its strictly enforced cleanliness, admirable professionalism, and trustworthiness. This is one of those cheap places that somehow manage to survive without providing quality service. I came for a pedicure/manicure to have a relaxing time, but from the start I felt as if I was a nuisance to them: I was ‘tossed’ between 4 people (they kept taking new clients), they rushed terribly and wanted to finish. 20 min for a pedicure never drying the nails? They sent me to my car in their flip-flops! The personnel barely speaks English, they used old nail polish, they cut into the skin and had to reapply polish 3 times because it didn’t dry evenly. And finally the prices are high! Stay away!!!

Decided to try this place while in town for work and they did a wonderful job!! I only had to wait 15min on a busy Friday with a whole bridal party in the salon. I can definitely say I’ll be back if I need my nails done again while in town.

No matter how busy they get, how hectic it may be for the owners how booked some of the nail techs are sometimes, they gracefully greet customers with the utmost respect when they enter the door. The visits are always pleasant and relaxing. And when customers leave, they always leave satisfied and the owners always thank them with a smile!! They never cease to amaze me in how professional they are. This isnt your average nail salon. The nail techs actually care about their customers, and they show hospitality with genuine conversation, something that many nail salons lack. If youre looking for a top-notch nail salon that offers, not only great service, but staff and management who really care about you, who arent just taking your money and rushing you out, this is the place for you!

Hands down the best nail salon Ive ever been too. The technicians care about their costumers and the final product. They are always more than happy to fix any issues because they want everyone to have a good experience and be happy with what they payed for.

Myself and my grandmother were sat quickly for walk in pedicures. The pedicure felt rushed and we were never handed menus to choose a package we wanted. The pedicure was complete in about 20 minutes and they didn’t even paint the entire nail! I live in Seattle, and I can get cheaper pedicures that are better quality there!

I absolutely love this place went here the fist time today this family owned business such a relaxing, friendly environment. My husband got his eyebrows waxed, my daughter got her nails done and I got a set of nails on and all came out amazing! Found a new salon that cares about the customer and is super clean! Everyone here is very nice! They use great product, the salon is VERY clean, and they do an awesome job. I had been trying different salons and have finally settled here. They actually pay attention to how the nails look instead of just slapping it on and getting you in and out. I would most definitely recommend Grace Nails!

My daughter and I went to get our nails done at Grace Nails. We noticed the individual that owns the salon was yelling at a few customers. This incident scared my daughter. There is never reason to yell at customers in a public setting. They were very rude. The entire ordeal was unprofessional and I do not recommend them whatsoever.Their treatment is similar to toe fungus. No one wants it.

I got an acrylic set with a coffin shape and matte paint and she did an amazing job. My complaint is that 3 of my nails fell off in a week. Im not rough with my hands or anything either. They just came unglued.

This is the first time Ive been here and the place is very nice and clean. I chose the 38.00 spa pedicure and its worth it, as they use a sugar scrub, mud mask on the legs and rubbed hot rocks on my legs. The workers are very nice and welcoming.

I love this nail shop. I use to go to another one (I won’t bash) and then one day my mom was like let’s try here. I have never been to another shop since. The employees are nice and have actually become friends. The shop is very clean and they take sanitation very serious. My favorite services are nails and pedis. Very dissatisfied with my nails. If I could give it 0 stars I WOULD!I had a gel mani appt for today. The guy who did my nails finished in 25 min. SERIOUSLY Ive never seen this before!Ive been getting my nails done for several years so I am not newbie by all means. When I got to my car I reached in my pocket to get my keys and my nails had small fibers from my pocket sweater on my nails. I have NEVER had this happen before! My nails werent even completely cured yet!So I called to let them know hey this guy went so fast my nails werent set yet.She argued with me that some people are faster than others. She didnt apologize, she argued with me! Im sorry but I dont care how fast you are you SHOULD ALWAYS take the time to do your job and do it right! We dont pay money for a sloppy get you out fast job. We pay you because your supposed to be good at what you do!Needless to say GOING ELSEWHERE, where the employees take the time and make sure its done right!

I called in advance to make an appointment and was told I would wait 10 minutes. I ended up waiting over a half hour while they sat people that came after me. They need to be more mindful of their customers.And the fact that they replied saying I called ten minutes before is absolutely untrue. I called the day before asking about availability but made the appointments earlier that morning. A few hours in advance. The people they decided to sit down were random walk-ins. I know this because none of them stated they had made appointments and were discussing what they wanted done as they walked in. So instead of making excuses, fix the issues you have and stop blaming paying customers.

They were great! My toes looked gorgeous and they kept checking to make sure that I liked what they were doing. At the end they offered me a bag to put my tennis shoes and book it. They were so thoughtful!

Love this place and I’ve been to a lot! Super super clean, friendly, and always go way out of their way to make you happy! They always treat my 11 year old daughter ever so kind! It’s our girls place to go!

I love coming here to get my nails dipped. That stuff is the best, it lasts forever! I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else or getting anything else but the dip! My nails were always so brittle and nothing would last. It was always frustrating for me. But this nail salon suggested the dip powder and since ive been getting it, my nails have grown so long and strong, and i always leave here feeling like a brand new woman!Thanks Grace Nails for always doing such a marvelous job on my nails!

Asked for white dip nails. She grabs white, pink, and sparkles and I asked her repeatedly that I only wanted to white. She kept say “you won’t even see it when I’m done” Then long story short, she did ombré after me asking her not to, and then charged me an extra $15, and was very rude when I told her that’s not what I asked for. I will never go here again. I’ve heard many other people have had bad experiences as well. Definitely do not recommend.

Even if it was simple spa pedicure, they were paying attention to detail and were not in a rush to finish. Probably the best foot massage ( quality and quantity) I had in Iowa city/coralville with pedicure since I moved here. I hope they continue to maintain there cleanliness, customer service and quality.

Not a local, was in town visiting, needed a refill and pedicure. Asked if they had gel and regular polish that matched. Was told yes and given a chart to choose a color. Halfway thru my pedicure they said they did not have the regular polish to match my nails. They chose something close... it was not even close. Never saw any prices posted. I think we were overcharged! Also, left my phone, called back and was told it was not there. I knew it was because I tracked it... went back and it was there!

Took forever to get started on my nails, what shouldve been a 30 minute appointment turned into over an hour and the nail polish used wasnt right so the polish on my acrylics was ruined as soon as I left. The man doing my nails also trimmed a nail until it bled and didnt apologize.

This was a very clean and professional salon. They have a wonderful air ventilation system, so the air is clean and acetone smell-free. The owners are so sweet, and they do a wonderful job!

By far the best pedicure I have ever had! I am on my feet for 10+ hours, every day, on concrete floors in shoes with very poor support. Needless to say, my feet take a beating. I am also an obsessive perfectionist when it comes to my feet, please paint my entire toenail and make sure they are well manicured. The lady I had today was amazing, my feet look and feel fantastic! I come to coralville once a month for work and I will make it a point to get a pedicure here now!

The staff was friendly, but I had the worst manicure of my life here. I regularly get manis and pedis and heard about this new place and since I was close to the mall I gave it a try. They didnt do anything to my cuticles, and the paint job is horrible! The second and third layers of paint dont even cover my whole nail so you can see layers of paint. I will continue to go to a place further from home because the convenience of this location is not worth the terrible job they did.
