On time, courteous, knowledgeable, what I feared would be a wait-forever-repair was done on the spot - he had the dishwasher motor in his van, replaced it and done! In 30 mins tops. Dishwasher works fine now.

Sears 3rd party Flash Home Repair never showed up. Never called! I have spent a total of 9 1/2 hours on the phone [mostly on HOLD] to be told Flash Home Repair would be out to repair by washing machine. 3 Times they never showed. I AM DONE WITH SEARS PROTECTION AGREEMENT! I will buy elsewhere! Bad service!

Simple repair, reasonably speedy service, very professional. Very happy with work done & the technician. However, the price of the service was a shock! About double what would seem reasonable! Changing a switch cost us roughly 1/4 cost of replacing the refrigerator! Plan to shop elsewhere.

Continue to have issues with the soap dispenser. 4 calls on this so far, really not fixed. Last call we were told to dilute the soap softer to allow it to dispense. Water does not drain 100% at the end of the wash. Again, we have had 4 technicians out to solve this issue.

After the tech left the next day we were unable to close the freezer door tight. we had to tape it closed.A large white plastic panel was caught behind the drawer which was not installed properly.They have to come back but cant do it until the 10th of Feb. The tech was on the phone with somebody attempting to find out the proper way to fix my problem.

I, unfortunately, called this company to have my washing machine fixed. The repairman was unknowledgeable and tried to tell me I needed various, random things replaced on my washer. He tried to convince me I needed a $550 repair & that it would take a week. And even then, he said it might not work, because that might not even be the actual issue.I asked him if he tried unplugging the washer, and then plugging it back in when he had pulled it away from the wall. He said no. So we used the circuit breaker to turn off power to the machine & turn it back on. He grumbled the entire time that this wouldn’t fix it. Then we turned the washer back on and started a cycle. And it worked. We were charged $90 for this.I called the 1-800 number to explain the situation & ask if we could maybe possibly have at least a partial refund of the $90. They refused to help me. I asked for a supervisor and they refused to give me one. After I asked 4 or 5 times, they finally transferred me to a woman who told me she wasn’t qualified to help me, because while she was a supervisor, she was only a supervisor of scheduling. So I asked for someone who could help me, & she told me she could... I told her I was confused, was she qualified to help me or not? She told me she was, and then told me she wouldn’t help me! Waste of time.So we received an automated text message asking how our service was on a scale of 1-5, and rated it a 1. A woman called & said she could not see the repairman’s notes from our repair, so she would call us Monday. She never called.

The service tech, Palmer, was awesome! He fixed the washing machine, provided useful information regarding future care, and cleaned up after himself. He called when enroute and was very professional. He explained the 90 warranty and left us ready to wash multiple loads of clothes. A pleasant change from the norm. Need more like him in every service support industry!

Never again. Paid an outrageous price for a very simple dryer repair. Technician also told my wife another company was needed to come clean the vent and it would cost a couple dollars. The vent is directly through a cinder block wall.

Everything about my experience with Sears appliance repair has been AWESOME. My LG French door refrigerator had stop working. The first company charged me an arm and a leg and still did not fix my fridge. I then contacted Sears who gave me an early appointment. The tech showed up, troubleshoot the problem and came up with the solution. He ordered the parts needed to fix the problem; which I found out at that time was under warranty. He then set a return date for when the part arrived. The part arrived within the time frame he provided, he return on the set date, installed parts received and left me with a working fridge. I am so happy that I called Sears appliance repair and only wished I had called them first. The tech was very professional, knowledgeable, and informative.If I should give a recommendation to Sears Appliance Repair, it would be to come up with a way to provide shorter arrival time frame. I was given a time frame of between 8:00 - 12:00 which changed later. The tech arrived around 12:30 - 1:00; I could have gone to work for half a day instead of missing a full PTA day at work; SMILE.I am happy and satisfied with Sears Appliance Repair.

David was excellent and incredibly helpful he did what he could to replace the differentplastic bins that have broken multiple times. However our Kenmore elite refrigerator has been a lemon since we have purchased it . We spent $4000 for something thats repaired on a monthly basis . Two of the previous repair people sent from Sears have said that it is a lemon . The plastic is of such an inferior quality that The storage area for the fresh produce as well as two other drawers continuously break . Weve had enough parts replaced on this refrigerator to have a whole new refrigerator . Right after he fixed it the drawers again dont match up and the entire shelf is sinking because its manafactured so poorly . My wife spent over an hour on the phone with someone first thinking that they were finally going to replace this after it has repaired over 12 times only to find that the interior of the refrigerator the keeps breaking does not warrant getting a new refrigerator only if the compressor breaks . She was initially told that they would replace the refrigerator because theyve seen our history of how many times this refrigerator which is a piece of junk has been fixed . Then she was told only if the compressor is broken can the refrigerator be replaced . I will consider it my mission to put everything I can on social media alerting people not to purchase a Kenmore elite refrigerator . In all the refrigerators we previously owned I have never seen something that was such a piece of junk .

The Sears technician came on time and prepared to make the repair. He actually had the part on his truck. He also helped us find a 15% off coupon on line to help with this expensive repair. We have been using Sears products and Sears service since 1970 when we bought our first house in Florida. We continue to be loyal customers.

The service techs were really nice But this was our third repair on a GE Advantium oven and .....it still doesn’t workThe same problem happens on the same day as repairI cannot bake, there is no heat and last repair was the display circuit board lSt month I have always used sears with good results but this time I believe a replacement is in order. No more polite men telling me it’s fixed or they are ordering a pArtJust fix it!!!!!SH

Repairman was called to repair leak under dishwasher that I bought new 1 1/2 years ago. He saw water on the floor and said he didn’t need to pull the machine out to physically look because he already knew what the problem was. He immediately gave us a repair cost ($400) which was higher than we paid for the dishwasher new. He then attempted to sell us an expensive maintenance insurance policy which he said would take $200 off the repair. I refused service, but had to pay tech $99 fee. When I called Sears to complain of tech’s poor service, I was told he was merely a subcontractor hired by Sears and he was trying to sell his own maintenance policy, which has nothing to do with Sears. I’m totally dissatisfied with Kenmore dishwasher and Sears service. I will not be buying appliances from Sears in the future.

Technician selling job should of talked us into buying a new fridge instead of trying to fix the one we had based in his experiences. Parts were not received in the time frame promised and Technician who came to put new parts in after it taking 3x as long to install new parts and multiple phone calls to someone where he was talking in front of us in Spanish which was disturbing, he denied any problems yet he didn’t fix the problem and didn’t even know he didn’t fix the problem. It’s ridiculous that you can’t schedule an appt for a repair until all parts have arrived and then you have to wait another week. Poor customer service ALL around.

When the repairman showed up the first time for our appointment, he had the wrong part. He stated he would order the part and call to set an appointment. As the week moved on, he never called. I had to call his number back at Mayco and left a message. I did not get a call back so I called Sears Service number. First they have terrible phones where you cant hear the person. I can tell its in a foreign country.When we finally established what I was calling about the Representative tried to connect me to the service people. There I had to wait for my turn to speak with a Rep. When that line connected no one would answer and speak with me. I could hear them talking in the back ground and a person typing. I Stayed on the phone several minutes saying HELLO, HELLO, HELLO! I finally hung up since no one would answer. The Mayco repairman did finally call back and we set an appointment. This has been the worse service I have received from Sears to date. Extremely disappointed . May not renew my contracts with you when renewal is due.....

I have the Master Protection Agreement and my fridge has not worked since April 12, 2018. I have had a technician at my house 9 times and it is still not fixed. Hoping lucky number 10 will fall under their Lemon Guarantee (which they dont honor and I will have to file a complaint with the Florida Consumer Affairs).

Service person was very helpful and tried to get my Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator, model 795.74093.411, made by LG I believe, fixed even though it was out of warranty (by several months). The ice maker line is leaking behind the door which in my opinion is a manufacturing defect. It causes the Ice bin to freeze in place and makes it very difficult to remove. The repair would be over $700 to fix, almost half the cost of the refrigerator. Neither party will take responsibility for this defect. I will never buy another Sears or LG product again.

Our technician Dave (from the beautiful island of St. Croix) was amazing! He was punctual, polite, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He identified the issue with our refrigerator; ordered the necessary part and provided additional information regarding our refrigerator: what caused the issue; proper filter installation, and settings. He also did the follow up installation of the part and our refrigerator is working. YAY!!! We would totally recommend Sears to our friends and family. Dave did a super job!!!

Gio was fantastic. Kept in touch with me until the repair was done. Provided cell phone so I could text when the parts arrived. Greet having him assigned to my case for sure. ALWAYS use Sears and not a 3rd party if you needed faster service. Epic fail by the company they asked me to call for quicker service. Lesson learned.

I have been without a refrigerator since May 11. That is almost 3 weeks today.Technicians came already 5 times. Changed parts and it is still not working.Eventhough technicians are very nice and helpful. They are not from Sears but a local supplier. They keep in contact with the service technicians from Sears who advise them.Unfortunately Sears has advised to change the same part that was already replaced.I Have a Master Warantee plan and Sears has not replaced my refrigerator. It has been several service calls and should fall into the replacement. But Sears has made it very hard and call center staff is not well prepared and all say something different. Not well trained.I am extremely disappointed with Sears and their service promise. They are NOT honoring what is on my Warantee plan.Very Frustrated . Now waiting until Wednesday and see if my claim is approved or denied again...

After waiting 10 days for my first appointment and explaining that I had an error code for a year but my washer still worked (until it didnt), a technician came and had to order a part. They didnt have another appointment for 11 days to install the part (So I went 21 days without a washer). Then when they came, after paying $300 they told me it wouldnt fix the error I have had for a year, just the new problem. I would never have paid $300 to halfway fix my machine! Well after arguing, he did fix the whole problem, but left my house a muddy mess.

This has been absolutely the worse experience we have had with Sears service. The sub-contractor technician was incompetent, dishonest and unreliable. After six (6) weeks, two (2) visits, and nine (9) phone calls, the dishwasher is still not working,. Oh, those 9 phone calls do not include the ones I made to retrieve my cellphone that disappeared from my property. The only reason I am not posting the name of the incompetent sub-contractor that Sears sent to my home, is because my machine is not yet repaired. So, buyer (and seller) beware!!

Requested a washer repair. Technician arrived, and after some diagnostics, said that we a door lock issue, but hed have to order parts and itd take a week. Then, after some more tinkering, he said we had a circuit board issue which would cost $550 (when a brand new washer would have been $600). I asked if he was certain the circuit board was the issue, and he said no. We then asked if hed tried just resetting the washer when he pulled it out, and he said no.He reset the washer, and the problem resolved itself. He charged us $89 anyways even though the service was terrible, and he wanted us to spend $550 instead on issues that were irrelevant to the problem.

Had a problem with this Fridge for 3 years, on and off, same issue. Sears has replaced mostly all parts and issue continues. Last call, Sears order parts, some arrive home, they dispatch and some parts are missing. Took over a month to get them to replace parts due to their lack or organization.

My refrigerator was diagnosed with a bad compressor. I was told it would be delivered to my home, and 3 days later it was. I was told by tech I needed to wait 2 weeks (October 27th) to complete job. My time was from 8-12.At 12:00 I received an email from them to call up and reschedule my appointment due to the fact they would not be coming out to my house today. I was told that it was a scheduling error and that I would have to wait another two and a half weeks until November 13th before they would come out again to fix my refrigerator. I went to the nearest Sears store where I had purchased most of my appliances in the Coral Square Mall and spoke to the store manager whose name was Aaron and he told me that he would send the email to scheduling and see if they can get me a sooner appointment and that somebody would be calling me. No one ever called me so I called back and Aaron no longer worked at that store he worked at the Broward Mall store now so I was able to contact him and was told that my scheduled date was November 8th. When I call the 1-800 number to verify it still tells me that my appointment is for November 13th. I called up the Broward mall today and was hung up on. So now I do not know whether I should take tomorrow off which is the eighth and lose another days pay or do I go to work and wait until the 13th and see if they show up that day. This is the worst customer service experience that I that I have ever been through and will never ever in my life shop at this store again. All I want is my refrigerator to be fixed. Was told by the technician that it was a warranty item and that no money was to be collected .one of the many times I spoke to their customer service I was told that it was not free and that I would have to pay. So I continue to tell her that it was a warranty item but she did not believe me. I could go on but I think thats enough.

The service man said there was no way to repair the refrigerator. This is a flaw in the design of the unit. This was reported to his office. This repair has been going on for well over a year. Sears has been notified and says there is no such report. As a result they have sent out another service man who should arrive within the next four hours. This is a stalling game by Sears. This time I will make sure the office is notified and get the results in writing.

Over 6 weeks ago, my refrigerator which is only 3 years old completely stopped cooling. This is the second time since we bought it. We lost EVERYTHING in the freezer and most of what was in the refrigerator. The first time a technician was sent out (one week after it broke - which was the first available appt), he admitted that he was not trained on a dual evaporator system and someone else had to be sent out. We had to wait another 4 or 5 days for someone else to be sent. 2nd technician now claimed to fix a leak, charged the fridge and said to wait 24 hours to see if it cools. It didnt. We had to make another appointment - ANOTHER WEEK LATER (first available appt) and this is now the 3rd time a technician has been out. It took him awhile but he figured out the issue and parts had to be ordered...ANOTHER WEEK LATER (first available appt). Apparently, we needed a new evaporator. This technician said it should have been replaced last year when they came to fix it but the tech ordered the wrong one and never replaced it. 4th technician visit to install new part - the refrigerator started to cool, made ice and then it broke again. Water all over...I call to get help and am met with an outsourced department where every single time I ask a question or make a statement which does not fit their script, they blabber back some kind of ridiculous response which didnt answer my question. I asked to speak to a manager, they said one was unavailable and they would call me back. I never received a call. Instead when I called again, I got another lady with a script who begin asking me questions and apparently diagnosed the problem over the phone and ordered a part. I spent an hour on the phone and finally ended up with benefits and claims...At first I was told that despite the amount of calls and the protection plan, my appointments for repair didnt qualify me for a new refrigerator. I then asked to speak to a manager and after more waiting on hold, a mistake was realized and a claim was submitted for a new refrigerator. I was supposed to hear within 24 hours. I didnt. I had to call back. Another mistake had been made...now another claim was submitted. I finally received a call the next day and over 6 weeks later, now was approved for a new refrigerator. This all happened over Thanksgiving and through the beginning of the holidays which was very difficult. By the end, when I was calling to get help and complain, someone offered me a rental (but I would have to pay it and then get reimbursed later). When calling, I had to ASK about food reimbursement because nobody offered it even though with my plan I am eligible. I am very disappointed in Sears. I am happy I have my new fridge tonight but it took over 6 weeks of BEGGING for people to fix this refrigerator and help me. *On a brighter note...the technicians were all always on time, polite and helpful.

It always takes at least two trips to get anything fixed. Parts are never on truck even though fault is diagnosed prior to appt. 4 hour windows for service coupled with multiple service calls makes it very costly and inconvenient for homeowner. Multiple robo calls indicating a serviceman has been dispatched to my home misleads someone into thinking hes perhaps 30 min away. It probably means he has arrived at work.
