This was my first experience and I absolutely loved it. Received great attention, the staff were so nice, and my hair came out beautiful. I left there feeling like a million dollars... would go again if its pricey, you can tell the difference in quality and service.

Excellent results every single time with Anthony. Pixies are deceivingly intricate and must be cut very precisely— even with pixie short hair there are variations. Bleached/platinum or golden blonde hair is just as much of an intricate process. I have been blessed to have Anthony as my very talented colorist and stylist!! He puts up with all my crazies and patiently tells me when he feels something might not work. He personally works on my hair from start to finish as he is quite particular about ensuring the perfect result!! I cannot say enough about Anthony’s stellar work, demeanor, and talent. Paola was so nice and helpful with deciding what I wanted to do with my hair. She explained clearly what her plan was and broke down the prices for the services she was going to do for me. The salon was so beautiful and clean. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I was also able to find parking pretty easily. There is a parking garage across the street from the salon. All in all, quite happy with my experience!

I recently moved to Miami and made an appointment for highlights, gloss, and cut with Sam. I’ve been getting balayage for the past couple of years because I find that it grows in more naturally, but Sam insisted on doing foil highlights instead. The end result turned out great! Sam definitely knows what she is doing and she made sure I got exactly the look I wanted. Hopefully my roots grow in nicely!My only complaint about the salon overall was that a lot of the services are custom quote and I like to know the cost going into the appointment. Originally my stylist quoted around $440 for the 3 services which was surprising to me because I am used to paying $325 maximum for the whole works. Perhaps that price is normal for the Miami market but I would have liked to have had a ballpark idea ahead of time.

Absolutely loved this place! I did a Brazilian straightening with Jamal, amazing results! And my brother dyed his hair from black to platinum with Paola - it looked incredible! She’s very thorough!But the thing I want to highlight is you’re surrounded by good people! It felt like they were just one big family. Helping each other with other clients when needed, showing results to one another, cheering when someone did a great job, even borrowing phones to take good photos :)Lastly, Marilyn is great at communicating and following up with clients prior to their appointments and when they are at the salon! After using the metal detox on my hair you can see beautiful significant results. Her patience with my long hair is much appreciated. My hair is so silky, healthy and the best it has ever looked. People stopped me all night (and continue to do so as this weekend’s photos come out) to tell me how stunning I looked. The salon also did hair/makeup for the Junior Bridesmaid (age 9) and the Groom’s mom - we all looked fabulous! Highly recommend for wedding day services!

I went through two other salons before finding this one when I moved here. They always worked with me when it came to what I was looking for and what I was willing to spend and the nail prices are actually pretty inexpensive compared to nail salons in the area and they do a much better job. I often dont leave a review for places, but as someone who cuts their hair every two to three weeks, I figured this was something worth writing about. Throughout my whole life, I have always been okay with my haircuts, but for the past two years I have been going to Anthony and he has made a big difference. I flew into Miami for my Nephew’s wedding. I got my hair styled by Amaryllis, at 10am and the wedding was at 6pm. My curls were still tight and intact at 2am the end of the reception ..I will definitely visit this salon next time I’m in Miami. I’d love for them to color my hair !!Also the young man who washed my hair was so gentle and polite. The best hair wash I’ve ever had. Felt like I was getting a head massage at the same time. I was blindly booked with Amaryllis and am happy to say that I have found a new phenomenal hair dresser. She took one look at my overgrown mane and knew exactly how to clean me up. I did my hair with Fabian and I LOVED HIM!! Not only was he professional and friendly but he also gave my what I always wanted: advice on how to better treat my hair! I asked for his genuine opinion and expertise and he delivered. I did highlights and bayalage using my already color treated hair and I couldn’t be happier with how it came out. I’ve recommended him and Avant Garde salon to everyone I know!
