HORRIBLE does not even cut it. I sent an important document that was signed at the consulate of Colombia and needed to be in Medellín last week. The person told me it would arrive in 2 days to Medellín, which it did, but to the WRONG ADDRESS. Not only did the person write the delivery address wrong, they also wrote my address and phone number wrong, which meant that if they had returned it, it would have gone nowhere. Ive been on the phone with Avianca Express for the past 3 days trying to intercede the package so it may actually arrive to the correct address. Luckily the package had not been returned yet. I am beyond livid, I wrote the address clearly in big, bold upper case letters. How can you get ALL of them wrong?! You are next to a consulate, we send important documents to our families and colleagues since you are next door, get it together!!!!

Given that on the 5th day they still did not deliver it, we called and their only answer was that, they had up to 9 days to deliver the document, their attention being completely discouraged in the face of an emergency circumstance such as ours. It is the case that on July 19, that is, 10 days later, after 9 days for due delivery, we called because they had not delivered the document and they did not know how to respond until July 23 that was when the document arrived to Bogota, being delivered on July 24. Certainly in the first place before emergencies, and secondly, considering the rudeness both by the Avianca Express Customer Service Center, and by those who answer the call at the shipping center next to the Colombian Consulate in Coral Gables Miami, it is not worth taking the risk with them.
