Called at 0800 for Grandchilds crown coming out. They got us in within the hour. New patient. Very helpful with insurance requirements. Very cordial and accommodating to a very nervous 7yo. Treatment was quick and accurate with nothing unnecessary requested of us. Would definitely recommend to others.

My two visits with this dentist have been superb. He took my nerve damage and insurance concerns seriously and for the first time in my life at 49 years old I experienced a WONDERFUL visit today and will be happy to now refer to him as my dentist.. He was patient, caring, considerate, friendly, and very compassionate.

This was my first visit to this location, and my first dental visit in many years . From my first call I knew I was going to like the team , the front staff is very friendly . The tech assisting the doctor today was very kind and helped calm my nerves, the doctor was very patient with all the questions I had. She went step by step with the radiographs and during my exam she made sure I was comfortable. We even discussed in detail the game plan for the next 3 visit. Im very glad I decided to come here.

Was referred for an exam, to provide a permanent crown, and to evaluate overall condition of all my teeth. Two hours later, my crown was molded, temp crown is in place, and all of my teeth were thoroughly inspected and x-rayed.I left feeling like they went above and beyond my expectations, and looking forward to them providing the services we are planning.

I went in for a braces consultation, they are very nice and youll be in and out with no trouble. They also really work with your payment options. Great place cant wait to come back

If I could give 0 stars I would. Husband called to verify that they could do the service i needed on my implants. I normally get it done In Waco and it cost me $75 per implant. I went today and spent an hour and a half sitting waiting for them to develop a “treatment plan” for them to tell me the $75 piece I need for my implants would cost me $800 per implant. I explained to the young lady that they had the wrong piece and that she should verify that. She argued with me repeatedly. I left and called the Waco dentist and made an appointment to get the correct piece for the correct price.

Wont recommend them to anyone. Just received a text saying we have a balance owed , when my daughters last appointment with them was a few months ago. When she had her braces removed , I told the orthodontist I wanted the traditional retainers not the plastic ones. She refused to do what I asked for . We paid good money for their services and to have my request ignored is unreal. My daughter is a teeth grinder , why I requested traditional retainers. Now she can no longer wear the ones they gave us , as they cut into her cheeks and gums. The balance owed is probably a result to us going in to address this issue . We literally were there less than 5 minutes and they refused to allow me to go in with her. They knew the issues with the retainers at her year appointment , from getting her braces off . Again refused to resolve the issue. We also signed up for insurance to get her teeth cleaning there. Again paid good money only to be able to use the insurance 1 time. They no longer used that insurance. Meaning more money out of pocket for basically nothing. Again will never recommend them to anyone.

My Dentist, Dr. Jain and staff treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy and I would recommend this dental office to my family and friends. Every one there is so friendly and professional.

Ive been going here and taking my kids here for years. The last year has been one issue after another. Appoint times are never met. Waited 2 hours once. 45 minutes today. Asked multiple times for an audit of my account because I know I am supposed to getting a refund. The audit still has not been completed and we are on 4 months now. Have been called multiple times for them to change appointment times. Just very poor management any more.

Ive been here for dental work a few times already. The front desk staff are not very friendly and not attentive to the patients. There is usually a little bit of a wait time from the time of check in to actually being seen, even if you arrive early. But I will say todays visit I was very pleased with the dental staff in the back. They were very friendly, thorough and were very accomadating with me and my crazy child. Thanks again ladies. ☺

Every time I go here the wait is minimal, the staff are friendly and the dentist and dental assistants do all they can to make you feel comfortable regardless of what you may have going on that day. I would recommend this place for both adults and children getting dental work done.

Attentive and thorough Crew....From the front Office Staff to the Chairside manor of the Ortho-Assistant to the Care from the Orthodontist whom was thorough in addressing my Sons Orthodontic tx needs and plans for continuing care.Its a little bit of a wait some times, but well worth it.

From 2013 through 2019 would have given them 4 to 5 stars. But since 2020 I can no longer recommend this practice. Had some cosmetic work done and my front teeth on each side dont match -- they just stuck them in and walked out. Have been trying since September 2020 to get them to pay us the credit on our account. Couldnt go back because I was told there can be no open insurance claims to get our money back. I finally submitted a complaint on February 24, 2021 to the BBB for assistance. Staff changes are so numerous you rarely see the same person twice and they dont seem to have any experience. Most of this started before the pandemic and just worsened from then on.

After I confirmed my appointment twice, they ended up giving my appointment slot way. I scheduled this appointment 3 weeks ago! My options were then limited to scheduling an appointment for a month from now and hoping for a cancellation in the mean time or maybe being squeezed in an hour and a half after my appointment. Since I have to coordinate child care, neither were going to work. Thankfully I was able to schedule at a different dental office for tomorrow.

Doctors were nice and worked gently with my child. Ortho was the worst. Ortho nurse was bad. My child needed braces, so the nurse had to put a bracket on my childs tooth, but the bracket was too thick for my childs tiny tooth, but the nurse forcefully with her strength pushed down to my childs gum, so her gum was bleeding, but the nurse didnt care. My child was crying for pain, but the nurse kept pushing the bracket, but it didnt fit like I thought. She was very unprofessional. Also the senior man ortho doctor wasnt good either. So I got a refund for the ortho care and changed the dental clinic. And the price was 2 times more expensive than another place where we go now. Im not recommending Orthodontics at all, if the same ppl were there. It was about 1 year ago or more, so hopefully they changed the worst ortho nurse.

I love the care and attention I get at Cove Total Dental. My only complaint is waiting 20-30 minutes past my appointment time. It has happened more than once where I check in 10-15 minutes before my appointment, and I still wind up waiting 20-30 minutes beyond the appointment time. Time is pretty valuable.

We checked in and when we went back to the desk to ask how much longer, learned that someone in the system marked us as having been seen. The dentist assistant did not come and explain what she did today. Then the front desk clerk act like I was bothering her when asked for Doctor slip. Just be so happy when the braces come off. There have been other incidents but of course its not nothing wrong to them

My tooth broke and I was in sever pain. Every dentist was booked or closed. I really did not want to use Total dental due to a bad experience six years ago. To my surprise they took me in at 4:30pm even though they closed at 5pm. They scheduled me for the next morning to pull the tooth. The experience was great for a tooth pulling. The only reason I am giving them three stars is that they do not help with pain. I have not slept well in two days because of my tooth pain. I am even dreaming about my pain. I have a high tolerance for medicines and they usually do not affect me much. The dentist keeps telling me to take Ibuprofen. I had two teeth pulled this morning and now I have a huge what feels like a headache and dull pain where my teeth were pulled. I keep taking Ibuprofen and Tylenol. I have even researched natural ways to take care of it but nothing is working. It looks like another restless night. I worry about taking so much medication even over the counter. So if you do not like pain find another dentist. I get that some people abuse medications but I just had two teeth pulled. Something stronger than Ibuprofen would have been nice. Even just one or two days worth.

I seriously cant say enough good things about this dental office! I originally walked in thinking I was arriving to my scheduled appointment to find I was in the wrong office. However the staff was the sweetest, they managed to make room and take me in. The hygienists and the Drs are top notch and I am actually saddened I had my last cleaning visit with them this morning, as I am moving out of state very soon. Its so hard to find a good dentist, if you give them a try you will not be sorry!

This was the worst dental visit of my lifetime! Was in so much pain when I left! I contemplated crashing my truck. To hope I didnt live through it. They were (doctor and assistant) jamming and singing along with the radio. They held back on suffient deading agent. So the profit margin was maximized. The worst dental experience of being alive for 53 years. Thoroughly discussed with the service. STAY AWAY FROM THE MONEY MILL. NO CONCERN FOR THERE PATIENCE. OTHER THAN THEIR WALLETS. AND IF THAT WASNT BAD ENOUGH. THEY SENT ME A BILL WITH EXTRA CHARGES. THAT THEY DIDNT EVEN DO! FRAUDULENT BUSINESS!

All the staff was very friendly, the offices were very modern and clean and Dr. Abbott was very kind and gentle but also very informative and thorough.

They were very friendly and helped assist my daughter with her pain that she was having. The entire team even in passing had nice polite smiles and was very pleasant. We will be back with our entire family. Thank you all for making our day.

HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL! I had a 2 o’clock appointment for my daughter for over a month. The morning of the appointment they call me and want to push it forward to noon. (Because the dentist had a dr. Appointment. Mind you they spoke with me numerous times the day before the appointment and no mention of rescheduling). So I have to rearrange my entire day because of this last minute change. Things happen, whatever. BUT we get there to check in at 11:30am. And they say “we will call you shortly”. Well, 12 o’clock rolls around, 12:30 rolls around, 1 o’clock rolls around..... after numerous visits to the desk asking what is going on, and it’s already 1:30 (my original check in time for my 2oclock appointment) they tell me “oh there’s one more person ahead of you”. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE THAT VALUES THEIR TIME! If they can’t manage the small things how are they going to be with my child’s teeth?

Fantastic front desk staff.

Scheduled an appointment as a new patient. Day of my appointment I get there and I am told I can’t be seen because my appointment was given away to someone with an emergency. They say they gave it away because I didn’t answer the phone WHILE I WAS AT WORK!! No one told me answering the phone at work was required to keep my appointment. Then she said they also send text. I NEVER got a text even showed her my phone not caring about personal text being scene to show that I never got a text. They did nothing about it. So I took off work only to be turned away and this was going to be my first time coming. Her excuse was well we have a little people schedule and no show so if you don’t answer the phone we assume you’re not coming. Wow.

4 years we’ve gone here. The employees are always different. I got an appointment reminder for my son today so I called to see why. Brenna and the other girl I spoke with were so rude, but the kicker is they wanted to perform oral surgery on my 12 year old... extract wisdom teeth... hmmmm. He doesn’t have wisdom teeth.

Dr. Slighly and Hanna from the Taylor office went out of their way to accommodate my crazy schedule to get my crowns in and it was done quickly and professionally. I especially appreciated Hanna’s phone calls to make sure everything was lined up. The little things make a big difference! A plus service!!

The dental hygienist and doctors are great for the most part. Scheduling has been an issue and changes are made with out consulting patient first; Just a text confirming appointment. If not paying attention you would miss the date or time change. Showed up for a cleaning today and the dental hygienist was not at work due to a family emergency. Okay, this happens but the front desk did not tell me. I spent an hour getting X-rays and seeing the dentist only to have to reschedule the cleaning for two more months out.

I always have a wonderful experience at Cove total dental I would recommend it to anyone.

Only giving one star and that is for the dentist. We had a 8:45 appointment and did not leave until 9:55 for a general 6 month checkup. Went to front desk twice because others were seen right away. They never admitted to actually skipping over my daughter. When I went to the front desk for the 2nd time she was called back immediately. This was at 9:18. Once in the back she did not receive any x-rays like normal, scrapping or flossing. Only the polish brush with paste. Dentist was very busy and took a while to come check on teeth, very unstable. He informed her that she just needed the mouthwash and was done. They never did the mouthwash. Not happy and will be looking for a new dental provider. We have never had this type of service here before.

Went in with a bad wisdom tooth and they gave me the option for a same day extraction. I want to say my total visit time including the extraction was an hour tops. Very quick, professional, and friendly. I will be going back anytime I need dentistry. One of the best dentists offices Ive been to. I love quick and efficient.

The availability of appointments is lacking. The excuse I keep getting is that appointments are booked 6 months in advance. I dont understand how that makes less appointments available. Im in my forties and we are an active duty Army family. Ive been to many practices in several states and this is the first time having this issue. The orthodontic side is especially poor. I was told when we signed our agreement that once the remodel was complete, more availability would open up. The opposite happened. Now we are down to one day a week and the latest appointment is 3:30. Very difficult for working parents to be expected to take time off work every 6 weeks for appointments. If we wouldnt have started the braces treatment at this practice I would not be continuing to come here. Close on Mondays and have appointments on Saturdays, it has been done.

I am so happy that I found this place. It is conveniently located in the Walmart plaza, less than 10 minutes away from my house. My experience was amazing from the phone call to the treatment. The receptionist, Mrs. Fiona is so freaking awesome. She would not allow me to sign anything without giving me a thorough explanation. She also helped me pick the best option for my childs treatment. Dr. Hertzberg is God sent. This man knows teeth! My daughter completed almost two years of pointless treatment at a different orthodontist and he did an evaluation and basically came up with an awesome plan to correct her teeth. He also gave us option and a thorough breakdown of each possible treatment plan. Mrs. Bernice came in explained everything, set a time limit, talked us through everything and finished at that exact time. This is such an awesome place and team. We passed other workers and receptionists while we were checking in and transitioning to and from the treatment room. They were really friendly and welcoming. It is clear that those people love what they do and its not just work for them. From personal experience, if youre looking for a reasonable and knowledgeable orthodontist, I would highly recommend Cove Total Dental & Orthodontist.

First hygienist was rude! She did not have her mask on properly, only her mouth was covered, she did not take xrays, had to ask dentist! She did not do a Florida treatment. The dentist was great, and the second hygienist was nice. I will be searching for another dentist for my three kids!!

This place has always been the best especially for my daughter who is on Medicaid. And they are just a great bunch of people 🥰 never any disgust towards patients. Five star rating worthy.

My grandson, 12 years old, feels very comfortable using Cove Total Dental & Orthodontics. He is 12 and has been seen for several years by the Orthodontist. He had a pretty bad overbite which affected the way he spoke and the way he smiled. It is miraculous how the overbite is almost completely gone, compared to how bad it was when they started.. Hopefully, the end of this year he will get his braces removed, and be left with that beautiful smile he is known for. He will be thrilled. The Cove dental worked with us arranging financial help. One other benefit of this clinic is that the constant need to tighten, rearrange the braces, etc. caused little to no pain to my grandson.Far from when his Dad was young, he would always use the wax to keep the braces from hurting. The Dentists are excellent and so is the entire staff! We highly recommend them.

Staff has had a change, one of the best dentist is gone, staff is moderate, they made a large room where everyone is seen. That is less appealing and the waiting room shrunk. Lost its luster heavily. Miss the old staff and the old look and privacy. As parents we will be changing dentist offices. My kids will stay til the end of their Ortho work.

The Ortho team only in office once a week on Wednesdays, whenever we have an emergency with missing band, bracket that fall off, wire that is loose we have to wait a week even though the office open every day, as if it were something we can fix at home , totally absurd!We love the doctor , but the communication in the front is very bad . For some strange reason information does not flow properly. They are always confused about appointments dates and times.It would be greatly appreciated if they could return calls also. Front desk is disaster! These girl never know or can find anything when we call , they act like chickens without heads , talk to them by phone is very frustrating. Whoever is training the front desk is doing terrible job. They changed orthodontist and nobody notified the patients ,we get there and surprise! Zero communication E respect like we are going there for free. absurdo

Visiting the dentist for a much-needed tooth extraction is not something that most people look forward to. However, even with prospects of a dreaded dental procedure, the folks at Cove Total Dental made the visit much more endurable. From the friendly greeting at the front desk, to the x-rays and other preparations handled superbly by Yvonne the Dental Tech, to the calm and thorough professionalism by Dr. Weintraub, my recent visit was nearly as fearful as I thought it would be. Everyone on the staff was helpful and supporting; the anticipated pain was well-controlled; and the final result was a complete success. Thanks to Cove Total Dental, I may change my mind about those future visits to the dentist.

My son had an scheduled orthodontist appointment for 3pm and did not get back into the room to be seen until 35 minutes later. This is not the first time this has happened. Probably should not schedule so many appointments if you cant handle the work load. Thats my only problem with this office is that appointments take much longer than they should.

The staff is great but today we waited almost an hour for my 22 month old son just to be seen for 5 minutes because someone forgot to put his chart in the back so it was like we were completely forgotten about. I love the environment and friendliness I just hate the fact that we were put off like that.

We are always charged for their mistakes, we can never make it out of the office with just the co-pay. Today my daughter had no cavities but during her cleaning they dug a filling out and it had to be filled so it cost us almost $80 for their mistake. While I thought their prices were reasonable at first, its time to find a new dentist because they always find reasons to charge us. I would rather pay more for good, honest service.

Please stay on top of the billing, they will overlook and overcharge, with no explanation or care. I have been waiting for a call back and I just called and was told that I have to call back tomorrow between 8-1. Why is it my responsibility when they said they would call back. I called yesterday and they said to call today. To be continued .... (Will update the full story as I might have to prepare one for the BBB/TDA).
