Im new to the Cove. I tried this place twice. I was pleased the first time but the second really got my attention. Their polish selection is a mess and the polish on my toes is too thick. I use dip powder and the sample colors were all over the place- literally. I had to sort through a lot and still couldnt find anything I liked. They ended up bringing me one choice when I said what I was looking for and it was way too dark. The manicure station was a total train wreck. Looking around the salon, it was the same. Cluttered, dirty and disorganized. A week and a few days, I have two broken and split.. And what is it with the prices. I get the same service in Austin for $10 less.

So I had a great experience with Lee’s nails. The guy fixed the terrible job I had done at Lux across the street and had a fantastic conversation. Wonderful people. I totally recommend them.

Oh my... I got recommended by a friend last minute for prom and they did an AMAZING job. I walked out and was so ready to go show them off.... definitely I would recommend, cant wait to go back!!

Okay the lady was super nice... but she had to redo my nails three times. She burnt me with the drimmel, everything is uneven. Some nails are thin some are thick. They told me $37 dollars for BLACK chrome nails -which I have gotten before- and charged me $47. I went here a couple years ago and it was fantastic. All her instruments were DIRTY AS HECK 🤢! I HAVE THE WORST LOOKING NAILS EVER. DO NOT GO HERE!

Of I could leave a 0 star review I would. MY sister in law took my daughter to get hers done here and they clipped and made her bleed. More than once. They were for her dance she was very upset. Almost made it to where she never wanted her nail done again. The were sore and nail beds really hurt her to where she wanted them of before the week was over....😠 Not only that left tons of acrylic and nail polish under the nails. These people have no shame. Also tried to put my niece on there phone while video chatting with their friend!!! Shes only 3 thats ridiculous!!!! Never never go here people Im telling u you will regret it.

Kenny is the best!!! I have been going to him for years and he is truly amazing and gifted. He pays very close attention to detail and makes sure that I am happy with my nails and feet every time!!!! I will never go to anyone else!! He deserves this recognition and so much more!!! If you need someone to take care of you.... Kenny is your guy!!!

Cuticles weren’t cut. Shellac had bubbles in it and was painted right on the cuticle.I would give this place a zero star rating, but you have to give some thing in order to write this review.

The lady was very rude when I asked if she could make the bail polish that I picked out a little darker and she said ( I said do you want 1 more coat or not in a rude way) if she only knew how hard I had to hold back... Not to mention I was sitting next to a auto clave machine, and if people dont know what that is it stabilizes the instruments well I saw them stick the dirty instruments in and not turn it on and grab the same instruments out of the machine they did not turn on the machine. If I could have given a negative 0 I would have. Not to mention they had a dog in the shop with no tags on, that didnt bother me at all Im a dog lover but it needed to have tags on it to make sure that it had all of its shots. I WILL NEVER GI BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN AND IF ANYONE ASK ME I WILL MAKE SURE I TELL THEM TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM PERIOD THEY SUCK.....

My nails look absolutely awful. Im not sure what the name of the gentleman who did them is, but he said ZERO words to me, and did an embarrassing job.

Great customer service, friendly staff, and superb quality. Everytime I go I leave feeling satisfied. This business is dedicated to the comfort of its guest.

I went in today (6/15/19) for a pedicure. After my pedicure was complete, the technician took the metal instruments used (clippers, etc.) to the sink, washed them, and then placed them inside one of the sterile bags. Instead of putting them in a basket to put into the autoclave, he took the sterile bag and put it back into the bucket that contained the oil, etc. - as if it was ready to use on the next customer. When I pointed this out to the owner, I was told that I did not see that - and that they put several of the bags into the autoclave at a time. I tried to explain to her that he did not put the bag into a basket to be sterilized later, but put it back into the bucket to be used on the next customer, I was told that that was NOT what I saw! I will never go back!

Man felt like I was in year 2004! It’s stinks, was cluttered, and lord have mercy he took so long to do my nails!! I have to reshape them, because they’re huge lmao should have listened to the dang reviews.

At first when the guy at table 7 started to do my nails I could tell he didnt know what he was doing. I get my nails done every 2 weeks at least. I was going to leave to get them fixed somewhere else but the woman next to the cash register said she would fix them and she did I like how they came out she did a much better job. Then I got a pedicure from her too. Friendly and Competent.

My husband purchased a certificate for their most expensive package plus a full set. I called to explain to them that he made a mistake since I cannot have a lot of these services done, and I asked for a refund. The gentleman who I spoke to told me they dont do refunds and its not his problem.

Chemical Burns across my toes, crooked fingernails even after I pointed then out and nails chipping a week and a half out. 140.00 bucks... Never again.

The man was a little rough while doing my acrylics but i love the end result. My pedicure also turned out great, and the lady was really gentle. We were brought fruit cups and drinks too.

I have usually had acceptable service here...but today I walked out after waiting for 20 minutes or so, feet soaking in tepid water, no one from he staff extending a courtesy such as apologizing for the wait etc etc. If they are understaffed they should not have accepted anymore clients. And here is the best part....either staff didnt notice I left...or they dint even care. Here to another business that I wont support in this area.

Just had a very nice evening getting a pedicure at Lees nails. It was my first time there and I can t wait to go back. Very nice people and very relaxing!

I would give this place 0 stars if I could I was very nice about it and asked if they could fix my nails the polish was chunky and the shape was hideous. They got the biggest attitude and told me to come back. My mom asked for a receipt and the lady was even rude to my mom who had nothing to do with the situation. They cut off my nails and gave me money back. do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this place.

Went in at 530 knowing they close at 730 and assumed they had plenty of time. I have been going to this salon for several years but the turnover of employees has left this place undiserable. They wouldnt do what I wanted and tried to put it off till next time. Most dont speak English. Work is second rate. Placed other customers before me that came in later while I just sit there waiting for someone to finish me. Needless to say after the pedicure and nail only partially completed I got up and left. Wont go back. Its not what it once was.

I’d give them a higher rating if the young woman who sits next to the register hadn’t been so rude to me my first visit. She had a attitude, rolled her eyes at me when I asked questions, and was very dismissive as if I was bothering her while she played on her phone. I’m very big on customer service, and the way she treated me was not good at all. However she did a good job on my nails.

Maya was a consummate professional and deserved my original 5-star posting. She provided the same quality service time after time and was the best, most consistent nail tech Ive ever had (over 25-30 years).Update: Maya left months ago. Service is poor, e.g., because I only needed my gel redone, they took 2 customers who came in after me (w/out appts) because the two wanted pedicures, etc. After about 20-5 minutes I got up to walk out and a man came and started on my nails. During the course of it, he drew blood. I always tipped 20%! Theyve lost a good customer. I will not return. Attitudes, in general, have really changed since the beginning of the year.

They are not gentle, they nicked my skin more than once. A couple of my nails are crooked and they made my sister bleed.The girl who did my sisters nails yanked her arm several times.I would not recommend this place to anyone I love but I would recommend to someone I hate.

Decent prices. I didnt ask for a design but I got it and I got charged for it. But it was all amazing other wise. Communication is not very good. I saw a lot of people struggle with that. But pedicure was awesome!!

Was a rush job, paint on my cuticles & fingers. after I left I realized a nail was broke & just hanging underneath. Went back for them to simply clip it off. On their brochure it said I would be charged $20, for charhed $25. My husband paid so I was not able to ask why it cost $5 extra. Just a really shotty job, will not return. Definitely wasnt worth the $25......not even worth $20 advertised in their brochure. Save your time & just go elsewhere. Totally disappointed. ❌❌❌

My daughter and I went there, paid $95 for 2 gel pedis, went to the pool the next day. ALL of her gel toe nail polish came off. Mine is still great..both in the pool the same amount of time with the same gel polish. Shes 8 and was very upset. Will not go back and waste my money nor time.

Well I went in and ther was only 2 people working .a man did my nails and destroyed my cuticles I had to reshape my own nails and its only been 2 days and I have air pockets.dont let th guy do ur nails.

Even after living in multiple states, this is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been too. I ended up going here because I work in the dental office next door and wanted to get my nails done on my lunch break. Even after a coworker told me it was the worst place that she ever went, I was optimistic and figured I would give them a try. I got tips with gel on my nails. I told the technician I wanted them to look as natural as possible, they didnt. He grinded my nails so much and cut my finger. I didnt want to leave with the work half done so I sat there so unhappy and frustrated. I kept mentioning to him what I wanted over and over and he said yes , thats what he was doing multiple times. After less than two weeks, three fell off and I dont do anything rough for work, just wash my hands a lot. Theres no reason that they should have been falling off. Today, I went back after I took the nails off myself. I told the girl what had happened in hopes they would be polite, take care of a paying customer and help make the situation right. She told me they could get me in right away as I walked in at 11:30 and there was only one other person getting a pedicure. The salon was EMPTY. I sat and waited for ten minutes. Then, they gave me a bowl of water and told me to soak my nails. I sat there like that for seven more minutes until she came over after I asked her to talk. I repeated again the situation and she said, Okay, Ill do that. Not even acknowledging what I was saying. I tried to explain it again in a different manner, she got up and left the table without saying a word and her and other two people are talking but not to me. After a few more minutes, another girl comes over and says, The owner is the one who did your nails last time, so dont blame us. Rather than saying what they could do to fix the situation. Coming from a person in management, this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No solutions were given, they didnt try to make it right, although I paid 60$ for terrible quality and so on. I would not reccommend going here to anyone and wish I had listened to my coworker.

My nails and fingers were HORRIBLE. We were on our way outta the state so I was unable to show him what shoulda been an embarrassment to him. VERY BAD. Crooked, not clean, toe nail polish was too thick coming straight outta the container. Im giving a 2 because my partner was not dissatisfied with her job until the next day when her polish chipped off. Again...horrible!

Well let me first say when I went and got my nails done I was heading straight out of town ! I went less than a week ago !! Spent $230 dollars.... The lady was very rude rushed threw it.my nails also came out ugh not sized right and the lady jerked my arm and hands nicked me also . ... Made me bleed I now have an infection on my finger where she kept cutting me !!! When I said something she proceeded to continue to be more aggressive .my friend who I paid for didnt get gel nails charged me for it ... She gad the man ! He refused to do the color she wanted said it was ugly did a gold brown color .My friend foesndo like confrontation. It was a horrible experience I will never go back there my nails are run have an infection we didnt get anything we wanted every time I try to call off theres never any answers. So when I go to the doctor in the morning I will be coming up there to give him my doctor bill or at leastor at least try legally figure out how I can hold them accountable...

Highly recommend Michelle she takes great care of me especially being pregnant she did the powder and I LOVE MY NAILS!!! She always satisfies and gave me a longer massage than usual because she could tell I was exhausted and the environment is just relaxing

Do NOT let the fancy appearance fool you. Forget the complimentary drinks and snacks. This is a NAIL SALON that does a shity job and slaps on a high price.I brought a mani pedi package. I told the tech I did not want paint for my mani, just buff to make them shine. My nails were filed uneven, and I was told I would be charged an additional $5 on top of my package for buffing shine. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? When I left I went to Sallys and bought a nail buffer for 89CENTS. GTFO I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. OVER PRICED AND OVERRATED

Had to plunge the toilet before I used it and they didnt tell me before hand that their credit/debit card machine was down so had to drive to get cash and bring back. This used to be the place to go in Cove. Now..... No!

I got my nails done here about 2 weeks ago, and the woman that did them did great....but the establishment is disgusting.
