Celinda did an excellent job giving me a fade. She took her time (which is crucial in giving a good fade). Very comfortable haircut, she never dug into my skin. She has the variety of blades needed to execute The cut I requested. She used a straight edge blade to get the skin fade super clean. Warm towel and light massage to finish it off. I will be back over and over again. Would recommend to any young man looking for a current looking cut.

I cant imagine going anywhere else! The place has so much character and nostalgic charm. Kim & Troy are awesome! Kim has her own Blues & Classic Rock mix playing on the TV. It is a great place to experience! The neck line shave & hot towel are the classic finishing touches. Hint: Lunchtime & Saturdays you may have to wait a bit as they do not rush haircuts. Mid afternoons are usually a quick walk - in.

Went for a cut and every listing for hours said closed at 4pm but they were closed by 3pm. Not very professional in my opinion.

Great service, i forgot the name of the owner,But she was great, she listen and ask you is the hair cut is the way you wanted, also I love the old style barber!!! Specially when they clean you with the air gun hose pretty cool and the hot towel at the end big plus. Thank you again I will make this my hair cut place from now on.

If you have an immovable pit of stress or anxiety in you then attending Coppell Barbershop *outside of peak hours* will probably be a positive addition to your life. I did not realize certain qualities of other haircut businesses (lack of privacy and generic radio music) made the experience draining. This place relaxes me. I cant promise it is an authentic rural barber experience (with modern tools), but it gets a lot right. It feels *enough* like stepping out of busy city life that I can hang up my coat of troubles for a bit. Pleased by the haircut, deeply appreciative of the hot towels, and no negative comments for any of their barbers. And thats after attending for a few years.

Over priced

Moved to Texas two years ago and missed my mom and pop shop barber from back home. Coppell Barber Shop completely changed that. Great little shop with excellent barbers and affordable haircuts. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in DFW.

WORST haircut experience of my life. Went in with a simple task. Trim to a .5 on the sides and blend to the top. The old guy left several inconsistencies on each side and blended one side higher than the other. It was not JUST ME, as he said, since Ive already confirmed with my coworkers and can see it with my own two eyes. When I asked him politely if he wouldnt mind making it more even, he went on to verbally berate me, saying that I had no place telling him how to do his job. He went on to say he had been doing this for well over 40 years and knew much better than I. It was heated. If we had been in a bar, punches would have been thrown. Without saying anything in retort, I paid the man and even left a tip. That was my objective experience. I wont slander the this place, but I did feel the need to share my experience. I wont ever risk having one of these guys coming near my face with a razor blade, ever again.

If your looking for a actual barber shop you found it. Its not one of the new hipster shops. Just friendly people good haircuts/shaves for reasonable prices!

Love this place. Barbers give the best haircuts and only barbers can give you a shave as well. Worth the extra money because its so relaxing. That and it isnt a chain and the owner is always there.

Old style barbershop for men who dont want their hair cut at some over done and over priced salon. This places goes for a nostalgic feel, a simple cut and some good conversation at a reasonable price. Wish they were a bit bigger as waiting area can be packed. Im sure Im not the only one, but this is the type of place men will drive a ways to get to repeatedly...

Been here before and have been satisfied. Today I willingly waited an hour to have the owner cut my hair. Looked fine until fixed hair, worst haircut I have ever received. Had to go to sport clips to fade the sides into the top, looked like a clown. This is the first review Ive ever written but felt necessary it was so bad.

I have had several bad experiences recently with getting what I want.. the barber lady (I dont know the term for a lady who cuts hair in a barber shop) assessed the situation, gave me some suggestions and then went to work...Im happy with what I got and thats what matters.

The shop is great. I didnt even know it was right in my neighborhood . The barbers take their time and its a relaxing experience. Haircut was perfect.

The barbers make sure the haircut is perfect, and it is a good experience. They also use a hot towel at the end of the haircut. The waiting area is nice and you can help yourself to ice cold drinks. I love the interior design of the shop and the service.

No frills lady barbers who dont annoy customers with senseless salon-style chat. Plus, the haircut is as I had requested. Lastly, yesterday it was 100 degrees when I visited the shop in afternoon, and that A/C felt good. Price is reasonable, good value.

You get what you pay for with a haircut here. Sure its cheap and the atmosphere is fine, but if you have any desire to get something ever so slightly complex go elsewhere.

The two stars in favor of this place are primarily for the owner and the very reasonable price. I have never had a bad experience with her cutting my hair. But that doesnt make up for the half-inch indent made to my already longer hairline by the another barber. That among the choppiness and unevenness became too much to deal with.

I have been using this facility for over 2 years always clean and cozy waiting area but at times it becomes a bit crowded on especially on Saturdays and Sundays

Ive lived in Coppell for the past year, Ive been to a few barber shops prior to sticking w/ Coppell barber shop. The others Ive been to do not have the good ole fashion barbershop feel to it. Plus are waaay too expensive! This one is reasonabley priced and Im satisfied with every barber that has cut my hair here. As long as I live in this are this is where Ill go to get my ears lowered.
