This is the nicest campground we have ever stayed at. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give the restrooms an 11. We did not use the pool or other recreational facilities, but they are very nice. The RV sites are very large. We were able to walk out on the sand at low tide. The sunsets were amazing! We will definitely come again if we are in the area!

Beautiful stay! We did a waterfront cabin which I’d recommend otherwise you don’t have much of a view. The bed was really comfortable (I am that person who reads reviews in search of bed comfort so there you go). All the necessary items and then some were available. Super clean and loved the bathroom and shower. Also I loved that it felt safe to stay alone with my daughter. There were employees around on golf carts checking things etc and maintaining the grounds. We will be back!

We had such a wonderful time here!!! The staff was always en pointe for anything we ever needed. Enjoyed a few dips in the pool, wine from the store and even a fireside cozy up time set up with the request via text. Fire pit right outside our door with a start-up bucket of wood, starters, and smore sticks! The airstream was super clean, very comfortable and well stocked for our 2 night stay. Had 2 pups with us and they were even catered to, as well! Great job to all the folks who made this place run smoothly!!

We booked and paid for this place several months ago in anticipation for our Oregon coast vacation. Their website allows you to choose the specific type and space number for your stay.Pros - Large, spacious and level sites with plenty of room to spread out. The sites are spread apart so your neighbors aren’t on top of you. Each site has a nice fire pit and they’ll deliver wood to you if needed. The resort is fairly quiet and other campers were friendly. There are activities the resort provides and the buildings and bathrooms are clean and modern. There’s a short walk to a small dandy beach on the bay.Cons - The grass around the site is dead and there were low growing weeds in the gravel pad. The place is fairly new so the planted trees are small and there’s no shade. The resort is nice but the area around it is old and rundown.Big disappointment - I went to the office to buy some syrup. They said I could charge it to the site, cool! I told the woman which site I was in “90.” She said we don’t have anyone in 90. I told her my name and she said you’re supposed to be in 80. I said, no I booked 90, my map has 90 circled, my mirror hanger has 90 on and so does my reservation. She said someone booked the site the night before we leave and we’d have to move to site 80. I said no, I’m not moving for one night, this is not a “me” problem this a “you” problem and they’ll need to find another spot for the newcomers. This girl was pretty insensitive to the situation and said she couldn’t move them because they’ve already paid. I said WE’VE already paid!! She was willing to move us but not the newcomers.Ultimately I demanded a refund for the last night which she reluctantly provided and said normally we don’t do that. I asked if a manager was working today and conveniently she said no. By the way, this place was about 2/3 full when we arrived on a Saturday. I can’t imagine it’s going to be full the following weekend.Sadly we will never stay here again and I won’t recommend it to anyone!

I think reviews are super important and decided it was important to leave one during our stay at Bay Point Landing. Definitely not luxury as advertised. We had an event here and had about 9 rentals booked. It was extremely difficult to get anyone to return calls or to answer questions regarding accommodations for the people in our group. We were all spaced apart once we checked in. There was only one working golf cart. We were accused of stealing wood when each cabin we rented had a bucket of wood so why would we need to steal wood. It was extremely offensive to be accused if something we absolutely did not do. It was told to us they had surveillance but then when asked to show us so we could see who had done it they back tracked and didn’t want to discuss it with us. They did not get all their facts straight before they started pointing fingers. The event center shows water views but be mindful RVs will be in the way obstructing the view. There is a 5mph speed limit and if you go over that the office staff will be all over you for that when the maintenance workers golf carts go faster than the speed limit. We flew all the way from Texas and spent a lot of money to have an enjoyable family gathering and I don’t feel like the staff made it very unpleasant.Continuation of our situation:We also drove around and saw another golf cart that was not ours with wood that a maintenance worker was driving so clearly a misunderstanding but definitely offensive no apology was given to us and staff started telling our guests we have thieves in our group.

First off there is no way that the 5* reviews are real. Best RV resort are you kidding me.... Anyways I find this whole review thing nonsense especially when as these folks do they pay for new positive reviews. Not worth $75 a night. Stock photos are of their buildings and rental cabins / airstreams that have the prime spots with views. We got a partial view spot and by partial they truly mean partial you may see a tiny view of the water across the parking lot of RVs. IMO it is over-priced for an RV parking lot – I’d pay 40 bucks tops and I certainly would not go out of my way to stay here. No trees or wind protection between lots. Pool is small and nothing to write home about. Also the location is not ideal in town, not exactly a nice part of town, sketchy people everywhere along the road. The park is clean that is what they have going for themselves. Grass is brown/dead, bay reeks in the mornings (I thought it was sewage). Move along. Yes, many of these things are outside of the control of the owners but the exorbitant price is. 1 star due to price and IMO misleading stock photography as well as misleading partial view If you want to stay in the area look at The Mill Casino and RV - their RV park is much nicer.

Baypoint Landing is our familys favorite RV park in all of OR. The girls look forward to going & appreciate how well its laid out, the pool, the store, the beautiful setting & the thoughtful touches throughout each site. I like it because the staff is straight forward & helpful, the location is unique and the feeling of being away from it all (especially on waterfront sites) is great even while your just minutes away from the shops, stores and sites of Coos Bay and the OR dunes recreational areas. I also recommend heading just south of Baypoint and visiting the State Parks like Sunset Bay, Shore Acres & Cape Arago. The whole area is beautiful and memorable. Highly recommended.

On the more expensive side of camp grounds. Spacious spots, fire pits look nice but are not great for warmth unless the fire is built up over the walls and you are as close as you can get. It provided easy access to hiking trails, restaurants, and other points of interest. We literally walked 10 feet to the beach. The resort provided anything and everything we could want. I cant recommend checking out the resort enough! My parents live in Coos Bay and thanks to Bay Point Landing I am even more excited to come and visit them. We stayed in an air stream trailer due to mix up (on my end) with dates. The trailer was spacious enough to host 6 adults for dinner. They brought us a bbq free of charge and bundles of wood for the fire pit. We were able to grill and enjoy the view of the bay. My husband and I were shocked how much we liked staying in the cozy trailer and our dog really enjoyed being so close to the beach. Next time we are going to book a cabin. The resort was high end, yet down to earth at the same time.

Bay Point is NOT a luxury campground. Not even close. Have camped for 85 days this year and very disappointed in this campground. Paid top dollar and have stayed at many other better RV parks for half the price. The staff had a “I don’t care” attitude, especially Nate. The campground is not paved, just gravel sites. No shade trees. Had to wait 2 extra hours to switch campsite to 17, and I paid extra to reserve it. Tried to use the software to pick a site and lock it. Could not do it, had to call 2 times and text 3 before someone finally answered.Really not sure how they are labeled a luxury campground?

We spent four nights at Bay Point Landing for a weekend and a couple workdays away from the city. The first night was in a beautiful, well-equipped Airstream, but a rogue guest had smoked and deeply penetrated the mattress with an awful, headache-inducing smell. The staff was absolutely amazing. They helped get us a new batch of linens, but indicated they would upgrade us to other accommodations if that didnt help. It did not, and the next three nights were spent in a Drift cabin. While I would have preferred to remain in an Airstream, the cabin was wonderful, and they even discounted our stay. We were very pleased, comfortable, and were incredibly productive with work due to the high-speed Wifi (simultaneous video calls were no problem). The grounds are gorgeous, the people friendly, and the amenities top-notch. I cant wait to go back again and continue to explore the beaches and hiking near Coos Bay.

Well, they have a phone but the question is why. They never answer and don’t return messages left on voicemail. We finally discovered that they actually will respond to texts. What is up with that? There is a large check-in area for several RVs; however, there is no sign indicating where the office is. Again, what is up with that? We called a couple days before our arrival to see if we could check-in early as we only had an hour drive. Answer was a definite maybe. We arrived at 12:20 and were told that check-in was 1. So we asked if our site was ready, and the immediate answer was no. We could go hang out in the RV or check out the park, and they would text us. So we went back to our RVs and had lunch. 1:00 came and went and no text. Back to the office we go. Oh sorry, we forgot. We think they are just stickler for the 1:00 check-in as we watched what they did when someone left a site. They checked that the electric was off and removed any leftover firewood – took all of two minutes. Good grief. There is no landscaping per se – just dried up grass with weedy flowers when we were there. The entrance and check-in area are paved, and the interior roads and sites gravel. Unfortunately, this led to dusty vehicles as people routinely drove much faster than 5 mph (not enforced). The sites are narrow with decent spacing but no privacy. Our site was mostly level and long enough for our 45er and toad. For me, the waterfront sites are not worth the price. Same gravel sites and dried up grass with a better view although some are blocked by trees. We had a nice view of the bay out our driver’s side windows even though we were in the 2nd to last spot on a row. Generally foggy in the morning with clearing usually by 11. It can get pretty darn stinky at low tide. It’s a busy place with people coming and going but it’s fairly quiet at night. WII FI works decently, and satellite would not be a problem. They have cable but we didn’t try it. Verizon was 4g 2-3 bars and could be sketchy. They also rent cabins and airstreams – at a pretty hefty price. The state parks nearby have several pretty and accessible beach areas as well as an easy, yet amazing, hiking trail along the ocean. Tons of seals barking and lounging around on Simpson reef. We even spotted a whale! Plenty of shopping in town with Walmart about 5 miles away. Be prepared for homeless camps and beggars.

Things like a long walk along the bay, amazing views, playground, and clubhouse (w/ a couple of group rooms, pool, workout ctr, & kid room). Super clean showers and laundry room. Have friends/family that wants to join you at the coast but dont have an RV? Have them rent one of the multiple small cabins or Airstream trailers onsite. See website. We give them a Thumbs Up and wish them success!

My family had an incredible time here at Baypoint Landing. The customer service is amazing, with a 24/7 text line that always responded to our questions in no more than 5 minutes! The amenities are great, with numerous areas to hang out with friends and family. Great views and excellent location.

This place is a gravel pit and anything but serine. While the cabins might be nice, the rest is a windy gravel parking lot. The pool is tiny and don’t be fooled by the partial ocean views. There is nothing around to do and while the bay is pretty the beach access leaves a lot to be desired. The customer service is not at all helpful. You are way better off going a few miles down the road to Sunset Bay. We opted to loose our two day reservation fee and not stay. We had an amazing time at Sunset Bay campground. Do not be fooled by the IG photography.Update: Their terrible customer service continues. They reached out to me and implied that they would help remedy the situation and then completely ghosted me...

Pet friendly modern cabins. Great location. Everything you need stocked inside the cabin, which includes utensils, cookware, dishes. We brought our dog and they had a goody bag packed with extra bowls, leash, towels and furniture cover. Nice touch! I cant think of a single thing the cabin was lacking. Our friends took their child swimming every morning and said the pool was awesome. Already planning to come back & have told our friends about this place.

Very relaxing trip. The airstream was clean and comfortable and had every amenity you could need- shower, kitchen, queen sized bed, etc. We also spent one of our trip riding atv’s at the sand dunes nearby.
