Too many shops these days have loud music playing, tvs blaring and every barber is playing with their phone. Not here. This is an old school shop where the Barber focuses on service to the customer in the chair. Great conversation and top notch cuts that conclude with a hot towel treatment! Barbers of all ages so they are relevant and in touch with todays trends while also knowing the classic styles for men.

My barber pavel always remembers the way i want my hair cut, it always comes out perfect and i cant think of any barbershop i have been too that remembers exactly what i want how i want it.

Well yet again I have to find another barber shop. I’m not certain what about the industry makes it commonplace to have ZERO customer service .. and to think these guys work for tips. I walk in at around 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon to see all barbers flopped out on the waiting chairs and on their phones. As I begin to sign in I’m told they’re totally booked for appts that day. I usually get a high skin fade and a 2 on top. Would have easily taken 15 min. These barbers have been some of the more unfriendly barbers I’ve met in years and I’ve only relied on this shop due to its proximity from my home. I am a very generous tipper and unfortunately for them, it will be well worth it, for me, to drive further and give business elsewhere.

I got cut by Hector, the owner, whos been cutting for 20+ years. He did an excellent job! My cut was very smooth and even. He was also quick! Quality and Quickness is what I think of with Hector. Hes not trying to hurry up and move on to the next person. Rather, he takes pride in his work, starting with welcoming you warmly as you enter the shop, providing a high quality cut, and warmly showing you out. The shop is very neat and clean as well.The other barbers are also very good! They cut hair for all people, even little kids. Good environment for families. I would recommend this barbershop to everybody! Free coffee too!

The barbers were so kind to my 89 yo. Father in law. He cared for him as if he was his own family. A little Cuban coffee was an extra perk. While we waited, we enjoyed watching a few boys get their cuts too. It was fantastic.

Before this barber shop, I had just gone to any barber shop that would give me a 10 for first cut. But after coming to Edge Barber shop. The atmosphere is super old school and relaxed. They play classic rock, very friendly and always use a hot towel after they do your tape that feels amazing. Would recommend to any guy. 10/10

The barbers are friendly and experienced, and the conversation is always great. The music is family friendly, the place is clean, and often times they offer Cuban coffee while you’re waiting... So good! BUT the cut... the cut is the best! Since I found this place, I never stopped coming back. Fro has been cutting my hair here for almost 6 years, and now he’s cutting my son’s hair. He makes sure we’re always looking fresh and goes the extra mile to make our experience great.If you’re looking for a great fade and a hot towel at the end, look no further.

Ive been coming to the Edge for 5 years since Ive lived in Cooper City. I would never trust any where else for me or my kids. Its run by honest, hard working people that do meticulous work. Ive personally had experience with Hector and Fro who are great but all the barbers seem to do good work. Call for an appointment as they get very busy!It saddens me to read some of these negative reviews that have no merit. Ive personally seen several women get haircuts while Ive been there, you have to respect a business that knows a certain hairstyle is out of their scope and refuses the money in order to avoid a dissatisfied client. Ive been in South Florida 14 years. Without a doubt the Edge is a top-of-the-line barber shop. Pavel is my barber. I live right in Davie 2 miles from the shop. He is the best barber I ever had in my life. This guy does exactly what you say and hes extremely accurate . Everytime time my hair is perfect. The best part is they can use a straight razor with a hot towel, with hot foam. Pavel is the best. As long as hes there, Ill be cutting my hair every 3 weeks. This is my second visit Im really glad I found them. Five stars all the way!!!

This is our second visit. I took my toddler who is scared of the clippers. The first visit a while back was with Fro. This time it was Héctor who did the haircut. Both gentlemen were great with my child. The haircut makes my toddler look quite sharp. During this visit, Héctor showed my toddler the clippers several times, he was patient and encouraging. My little one is ready for the weekend! Though its not a barbershop that specifically caters to children, the staff is nevertheless prepared to work with children.

Grew hair out for almost a year and went in to have it cleaned up. Confirmed THREE times with barber what I wanted done. Proceeds to then chop off half my hair.Owner came over, chopped off the other side to even it out and said no charge for their screw up.Absolute worst experience ever with any barber shop

This is the worst barbershop that exists in the United States. I had the misfortune to work there. The boss is an exploiter who does not respect the workers or the clients, he does not have a drop of shame and only dedicates himself to making money for himself without stopping exploiting the poor barbers who just arrived from Cuba abusing them in all the aspects without even considering that they are Cuban like him. In addition to his bad reputation for years in all the places he has worked before, and now that he has power and owns his own place, he believes he is the king of the world ...now a reflection my friends is a good person that abuses others knowing their economic situations, and using as a pretext that he suffered long before reaching what is now ... I do not think so ...I do not give a damn what that person or his derivatives thinks, only the worst moment of my life is spent working in that exploited place worse than the Indian hatuey ...

Ive been coming to this place for years but they lost this customer. The barber I got didnt speak english, messed up my hair and when I told the owner, he said there was nothing wrong with it and forced me to pay. The owner was rude about it and I am a consistent customer. Unbelievable

My 2 sons and i have been going since the day the edge opened. You will never find better barbers or better people than hector (owner) and his brother frolian. My oldest son has autism and they are sensitive to his disability. Each time before entering we wait at the door while they turn off any music or tv that might be a sensory problem for his autism. Hector is an example of the american dream fufilled, as a immigrant from cuba he has built a succesful business after years of working in other peoples shop.

My daughter has a very masculine hair style, and stepped in to get a trim while I did some grocery shopping. She was immediately told that women werent welcome. Bad form to turn away business because of perceived gender.

These guys are masters of their craft, it is really amazing to see someone take the time and have the attention to detail for something others take for granted.
