I am so sorry to say I ever trusted these people to fix the things most important to me. First off, alongside my other job, I work as a digital artist. This means that my computer is an extremely crucial part of my income. My computer was working perfectly well prior to coming in save for one small problem involving a select few keys, meaning I would need to have my keyboard replaced.I brought in my computer with the official part from Dell, and asked if the replacement could be made. They were sure that this job could be done with no damage to the computer. I was given an initial timeframe of three days, and was told I would be called.First of all, these guys will NEVER call you. This has been the case with every single piece of technology Ive brought in. You end up being required to call them each and every time. Not only was my computer left partially completed for at least a week, but after that, the computer stopped working entirely. I was asked if the computer was capable of POWERING ON before I brought it in, when I was VERY clear that it was working FINE save for the keyboard issue.When I called, they tell me that while the keyboard has been replaced, suddenly they think theres another problem, because the computer wont power on. THREE WEEKS LATER, after they have admitted to having no ideas on how to fix it, I get my computer back, not even completely put together like I asked, because the thing snapped together when it was in my hands out in the car. It took them three weeks. Three weeks to give me no guidance whatsoever.Not only this, but Im positive they blacklisted my number as I got increasingly more irritated. When I called with my main number several times, I got no response, only to have the phone picked up on the second ring when using my mothers phone.After bringing it to another place, one that has an entire tech team specializing in computer repair, in less than 48 hours, I find out the problem. The issue was that the motherboard was apparently utterly shot because of damage that had NO OTHER WAY of occurring save for while being left here. A new computer. My computer has never been left in any harms way, and is always safely contained in blankets at home when not being used. Im very careful with all of my technology after having lost my other one due to neglect as a result of young age. After that one got liquid damage, I have never kept my new ones anywhere that could be dangerous.If you value your technology, do not bring it to these people. What they make a quick turnaround with part procuring might as well be nothing when compared to the shoddy professionalism, utter disregard for your situation and the necessity of your item, and poor repair work.

CPR staff is helpful and experienced with cell phone repair. I would definitely use them again in the future if the need arises.

I dropped my iPhone 7 Plus in a pool, afterwards it wouldnt turn on. I came into CPR and had my phone working perfectly less than a day later. I was only charged the upfront labor fee due to no parts needing to be replaced. I will come here again when another device is in need of repair.

While this location couldnt fix my phone the front desk person was kind, upfront about costs and options: not at all pushy about using their store/service. My only complaint is I was told I would get a call back in two days and it took two weeks for them to contact me about a status update.

They were able to unlocked a new phone and transfer data from an old phone for almost nothing when other stores were saying they couldnt do it!

Had two controllers and a laptop repaired here. The repair time kept getting pushed back. We got a call that everything was done. Come in, the part isn’t in yet. Finally when we do get our stuff after over a month, one of the controllers is already having the same issue. The only real thing that broke the camels back for me was the bad communication. But I’m sure I just got a bad experience.

After scheduling a appointment and driving 45min to the store I was told that I would have to come back the next day. Customer service both times I was there was horrible. Ended up getting my phone fixed cheeper at Battery plus.

I have been to this location 3 times. First time I went they did amazing and fixed my phone fast with excellent service. Second time I got my phone screen and back light fixed it was horrid, the wasnt put on right and I wouldn’t call them professionals at all, screen was popping out of phone and back light went out again in a couple months. Third time I went it was for a camera glass fix although, they did this well and it’s fixed, there was dust and small hairs left in it so the camera quality was just as bad as when it was broken. Not impressed.

I was looking at being without my phone for a week to get a new battery installed by Apple for my iPhone SE. During the pandemic the Apple Service Stores are closed. I would have paid $6.95 shipping and handling, plus $49 for the battery, with a 7 day turn around time from day I shipped it out to the day I received it back. Best Buy could do the job, but no longer carries a batteries for my model phone. If they did carry the battery, they would have charged a $50 installation fee, plus $49 for the battery. CPR was able to see me that day. They replaced the battery within an hour. They charged $25 for installation and only $35 for the battery. Brian, the technician working that day was helpful, friendly, competent, and efficient. I was lucky to find out about Cell Phone Repair. They charged an affordable, fair price and got the job done right away. I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

I went in with a prehistoric old flip phone. The speaker volume had suddenly become almost mute. I had tried resetting all volume settings, keypad, speaker phone and regular mode and they were all set to maximum. I explained to the technician why it was so important to me that I get that phone working again even though I knew it wouldnt be cost effective to do. Its my Dads phone and he has Alzheimers and only used it to call me and my sister but to try and find a similar one and teach Dad to use even a slightly different one would have been difficult, if not impossible. After looking it over and seeing there happened to be a quick fix, the technician brought it to the back and returned seconds later with it working like new. No charge! Merry Christmas and I will bring any future devices to CPR. Class act!

So I brought my iPhone 11 into a pool thinking it was waterproof, I got water in all of the cameras. We brought it to CPR and it was fixed within 24 hours. Once we picked it up it was working great, I updated my phone and the software crashed. We brought it back to them and they fixed it in an hour with no extra charge. Since then I’ve had no other problems. They were very nice, I highly recommend them.

My son had his iPhone repaired here and that went well. I tried to get a MicroUSB charging port replaced on a Motorola, paid up front and the parts have never arrived (pre-COVID19). Spoke with staff on site when I brought in another phone for water damage. That phone is still in the shop for repairs 4 weeks+later. Battery replacement went fine, but charging port didnt work after battery replacement. Staff has been professional, but overall service quality / accountability is lacking.

IPad screen replacement was a horrible experience, brought in on Saturday and they messed up my home button from heating it up to take the glass off to be replaced and tell me they can put on a regular none finger print button, I said order the original button, days go by, nothing, call them the next Thursday and say it’s completed, no call- no notification it was done, I had to call and see my Status!! Then I pick it up, it’s a button that’s none finger print put in. I waited 6 days for this and it wasn’t even put together with what I wanted that they messes up.... never again gonna use these unprofessional yahoos... if there was a no star that’s what I would put... and to the guy that gave me my iPad get off the weed bro.. Christ

I am beyond fed up with this place. I had to pay $30 to get part shipped. I have an extremely common phone. Have some stock in your location. Its not as if cell phone parts take up space. After getting my phone back, my finger print sensor wasnt hooked up. Return trip, waste my time. The kid screwed up the first and second screen protector. Day 3 and the this one is bubbling too.

Called them and they got me in right away. Only took an hour to get my screen repaired. They even plugged my phone in before I picked it up. Didn’t try to sell me on screen protectors afterwards like most places seem to do. Will recommend to friends and family!

Came in on Tuesday morning, my iPhone 8 lightning connector was only charging if I pushed the cord in as far as it goes. Asked the guy at the counter to take a look at it in hopes of trying to get it back to normal. He cleaned out the lightning connector for no charge and it charges normally now. Haven’t been there for anything but this issue, but if my phone ever needs repairs or anything of this sort, I will gladly come back and recommend this place. Thanks!

I brought my iPhone 7 Plus there. The cameras were not working and one of their competitors told me that it was the motherboard. Stan took a quick diagnosis and told me right away that it was a faulty camera. Ordered it and fixed it with good turn around time. Will Recommend them to my Clients. Simple battery replacement took 6 visits, they used double sided tape, couldnt seal the phone back up, and the battery is worse than my old one, all cheap China parts, dont waste your time here

Professional. The worker knew exactly what was wrong with my phone and fixed the problem. There were some modifications he made to make the phone work again and he did what was necessary with his skills to make it work. I couldn’t of asked for a better place to fix my phone because this was my first time there and was a bit unsure if they were as good as they claimed. My home button on my iPhone was not working and when it did it was like there was a ghost in my phone playing games just all over the place. At the end, if you have any problem with your phone, CPR is legit and bring it to them with confident to have it fix or given advice on what to do. I will be a returning customer after this experience and so should you 100% satisfied with the customer service and professional work that they do. I will not be going back to those uncertified places anymore who half-fast broke screws to my screen and phone that caused this problem after the prolong use of this phone per CPR. Thanks CPR for your skills and tools because we all know how important our phones are to us nowadays with such busy schedules. Last thing to mention, they had my phone done within an hour. And no I’m not getting paid for writing this experience, just be genuine to people who are truly good at what they do and deserve the compliment. I went to the CPR in Coon Rapids and they were great.

I was quoted $315.00 to repair a Samsung S8. I let them know that seemed to be to much as I bought the phone for $150.00 and found replacement glass for much cheaper. They said buy the replacement glass and bring it in and we will do it for $55.00. I brought the glass in as requested and they said they cannot do the project even though it was the original replacement glass from Samsung... Was frustrating, but I YouTube the process and was able to make the repair myself and in about an hour. Ive never worked on repairing cell phone glass but seems as though it can be done without having to pay ridiculous prices and be told conflicting stories from CPR glass. That is just my experience and I know that they have likely helped many others with great success.

Can’t fix anything that’s water damaged and can’t fix a frozen screen. 0 for 2 with me. Don’t waste a trip if you have either of those issues.

While replacing my phone screen Gary and I chatted about my phone battery and how the life of it was not what it use to be. Instead of buying a new phone they where able to replace it for me, no more bringing chargers with me to work!!!

4/2/20 My cellphone needed a force factory reset. But the iTunes in my laptop was having issues and gave me an Error 4013 sign. So I took it to CPR to get it fixed around 12pm. But their internet speed was so slow, they said it will take 3 hours. So I left it with them and called from my house to check status. They said sorry, it looks like it will take 6 hours. So I said ok, I will call tomorrow. Next day 4/3/20, I call up the line is busy and some how I got the representative. He says he hasnt even plugged the iPhone yet. It will take sometime. Ultimately, they didnt do anything. The guy who was supped to work on it, left for lunch break and didnt do anything on it. So I decided to get my phone back around 4pm. They charged me $25 for a label or whatever and did nothing to it. One of the representative was not familiar what a DFU recovery mode is. Also they had no idea what Error 4013 sign is.The honest mistake is I didnt read the Google Reviews for CPR before approaching them. I will never recommend them. Very unprofessional work environment. College kids can do better than this. If anyone else is having issues with battery or screen, just YouTube how to replace it and get a replacement kit from Amazon. Dont waste your time in this shop. I mean which electronic repair shop has such slow internet speeds. They themselves were joking and smiling about it. They only needed to download 2.8 GB. It only takes at max 8 minutes. At least they couldve left usb cable plugged into the iphone overnight. Hopefully, they take it seriously to raise their standards.

Very prompt reply. Drove all the way from Brooklyn Center to Coon Rapids. Well worth the trip. Leveled with me that it probably was the battery, but since it was older, it could be motherboard. The gentleman laid out my options, without pressure, and let me decide how to proceed.Needless to say, I am delighted my tablet is fixed and working like new!I am 60, but no talking down to me. My phone screen cracked from dropping it. Brought it in to CPR, they repaired it. The replacement screen had a defect appear within days and then cracked in my pocket a few weeks later. I brought it back in and Stan was awesome, he replaced my screen under the warranty no questions asked. Very pleased with the honored warranty. They won my 5 star rating today.

It’s been over a month since I had my phone serviced here, not a single glitch or an issue to date. Basically, my phone got another life since it’s been fixed by Stan, who was very knowledgeable and professional. Service was quick, and price was good!

CPR is amazing. I had a jammed cable end that had broken off in my iPad, and I was unable to fix it myself. I took it in, and Richard was able to remove the broken cable tip in minutes! Works great and is taking a charge just fine.

I was told different things by different people about if I pay before or after the work is done. If they have to order a part they will make you pay. If you have a Google Pixel 3 dont bring it here. I was told by the district manager that he only has 2 technicians he trusts to work on the Pixel 3. But the signs in the store say expert technicians for some reason. The employees didnt know they werent supposed to work on my phone, and things were broken. They did end up fixing the problem, but it seems like this could have been easily avoided.

I worked with Stan on a battery exchange and screen protector for a data phone. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The replacement battery solved my issues at a fraction of the price to replace.I would highly recommend CPR and Stan!

Make sure you shop around. I feel they are over priced and a bit rash when dealing with customer service when advising them that their quote was over $100 ($130 to be exact) more than a local competitor (BestBuy). Will post a screenshot of the email conversation at a later point. Quote: That is absolutely fine with us, you do what you need to do was the response received. Although I guess theres not much to be expected from a little mom-n-pop shop. Do your due-diligence consumers.

They did an amazing job on my phone and even made a deal to make the battery 50% off if I got the screen done as well but they didnt stop there, they then gave me a small discount for the screen. The phone parts came in on the exact day they estimated. They then told me to come back in an hour and a half to get my phone and it was ready by the time I got there. The only complaint I have is that the back of phone is cracked but since its being completely covered by a phone case so I dont care.Edit: I just tried playing some music and my phone makes a high pitched sound and no other sound comes out. Im gonna go back and see if they can fix it but Ill be sure to keep everything up to date

Worst of all was that I was only told about the wrong part... every other issue was only communicated to me when I called them (about 10 days between calls) to see if it was ready yet! I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and that, after paying for the repair, the tablet remains inoperable.When I mentioned, as my child cried audibly about her tablet, that it was rather frustrating to not be kept informed .... I was told they tried to call. (I only ever got a message about the wrong part.) I have been to CPR more times than I probably should have because of how clumsy I am with my equipment, but every time I am pleased with how nice their customer service is, how fast they can do it, and how great the price is. In the past I’d have to wait forever in line at the Apple store for something figured out with my phones and computers but it’s convenient with no waiting and quickly figuring out what’s wrong with the phones. It’s also really nice that they fix not only Apple or not only Samsung they fix all types of phone and computers and even my drone!!!

I have an HTC One M9. I had this location replace the battery on 10/31/2016. All was good until this July when the phone started to shut off when the battery got near 40%. Not a huge deal I figured since its still under their one year defect warranty. Boy was I wrong. I called them to see what we could do about it. After getting told numerous times that I was too close to the warranty and that they dont work on these phones anymore, I finally convinced them to honor their warranty and they ordered a replacement battery. 9 days went by and I didnt hear from them. I called in and they said the order most have gotten messed up and theyd order one again. That brings us to today. I got a call from them telling me the battery came in so I stopped in this evening to have it replaced. An hour after dropping it off I returned only to be told they didnt see any evidence of them working on it prior to today! The guy said we usually put these evidence stickers inside the case for proof of work being done and they didnt find any, nor did they see any evidence of the phone being disassembled by them! I was floored! I argued the point that this is the only phone Ive had and theyre the only ones to have ever worked on it. He refused to honor the warranty and told me the problem Im having is due to normal use and due to them not seeing their evidence sticker, they cant do anything. I am beyond upset and they lost a customer over this. Ill be telling everyone I know about how I was treated and to avoid this business.

Completely shattered the screen on my iPad Mini a few days ago. Toyed with replacing it with a new iPad, since I was hesitant about having it replaced by a store that wasnt Apple. I did a lot of research into repair places, and found that no one else offers a lifetime replacement if it ever pops up on the edges or isnt as responsive to my touch. Decided to bite the bullet and bring it in today. Was told it would only take about 2-3 hours to complete, but was pleasantly surprised when he called me a little over an hour later, telling me it was ready to be picked up. The screen is shiny new, fits perfectly and is just as responsive as the original glass. Fair price, quality product, fast turn around and nice staff. I wouldnt hesitate to bring any of my devices here. Highly recommend this place.

I brought my phone in to get a new LCD and screen replaced. But I never had anyother problem till now I had a bunch of issues with the phone not working properly and being slow. I brought it in again to see if they could fix it. It took them 10 days to fix and to get new parts for it so I didnt have a phone for awhile. Then when I got to back it had the same problems. Its a software problem so I need a new phone that would have been fine if they would have fixed it right.

This place is an absolute joke. Called to get my screen fixed for an iPhone 7 and made sure to ask if they use authentic apple products in replacing an apple product. Of course they responded with yes. I pick my phone up the next day with a screen that I am more than positive was purchased through eBay. I have repaired numerous screens for friends and family and they all purchase them from eBay or amazon...lets just say the quality was complete trash. Only reason I was paying out to get it repaired was to get authentic parts. Color was awful, sensitivity to the touch screen was terrible, and functions such as when you are on the phone and the screen is supposed to blackout so no buttons can be pushed by your cheek did not work either. I contacted them for a refund and they tried to order me a new trash screen and then claimed to have sent my old broken screen to the maple grove location. So I called there and they had no recollection of ever receiving broken screens from the Coon rapids location. All in all, I went to apple to get my screen replaced, not only did they do it faster they did it cheaper...about $70 cheaper! $200 at CPR and $130 at apple. Learned my lesson the hard way with this joke of a store. Save your money and time.

We left today very satisfied! We will definitely be returning to CPR. Dan at the coon rapids store addressed all our needs and invited us back for more services. Returning this Friday! . We would recommend CPR!

Wow! These people are great! You know when you go into an auto repair shop and you have no idea whats wrong with your car and you feel like they completely over charged you because they know you dont know any better? Long story short, I didnt feel that way here! They explained exactly what needed to be done and how I can even fix things myself in the future to try to prevent having to come in. What solid guys! Ive never had such service before. They actually took the time to help me with more than just fixing my phone. Thanks Stan and crew at CPR! You rock!
