Nice layout but wish they had a separate room for abs and workouts for women. Its not super clean in the bathrooms. Mold in the bathroom and on curtains also under soap dish. Super nice staff

The staff is very friendly and helpful! Everything is socially distanced and honestly it feels a bit more comfortable spread out than what I expected:exercising right next to a random person. It really does feel like a judgement free zone and I enjoy every time I go and feel energized to exercise!

Not horrible but definitely not great. I work out every other day. I also shower after my work out. Same shower, soap dispenser is empty on both occasions. I know it’s being used because it’s wet. (That’s what she said)They have enough staff talking that can refill.Ridiculous!

I will say this is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. The staff is very friendly. I do think some of the workout machines are too close together but that’s a minor thing that’s easy to deal with.

I have been to many other locations, and this one is below par, esp the BC area...just awful, small and not worth it...showers are too small, locker room in general is too small for the amount of ppl that frequent this place..the members are great, staff is ok as the best ones have moved on, & the new hires are rude and like to ignore members waiting. Equipment is great, TVs are tuned to horrible channels...too many fake news sites, etc....way too much space is wasted on stair steppers...place needs new management.

This place is ually clean, friendly staff, willingness to work w membership and payment issues if they crop up.LOOOVE THE NEW LOUNGE HYDRO MASSAGE BED! Tanning beds are awsome especially the stand up ones, Ill never lay down in one if I can help it. I dont usually have to wait for equipment to free up. I feel comfortable there, plenty of diversity in the staff and members. I also feel safe there as its staffed round the clock and im a night time exerciser.

I love our PF! The workers are nice and helpful, bathrooms and working out areas are clean, all the machines function well. Never a shortage of sanitizer or paper towels, never an overrun trash can.

Clean locker rooms helpful staff

I cancelled my membership. The lady at the front desk told me I had a payment pending. I asked her to stop the payment she said only corporate can do that. I asked if I can call corporate she said yes if you can find the number cause we don’t have it and don’t communicate with them. I then found the corporate number and called and left messages asking for a call back. Every recording says it’s a local franchise issue for fees. Called this location back and asked for management to call me still haven’t gotten a call back.So I paid for a month that I couldn’t even go to the gym.Then today I get an email saying rejoin for free. I wouldn’t rejoin this gym ever! You still owe me a refund for the month I cancelled!Ha ha perfect response below...Sorry can’t help you that’s something the local gym has to do.Such a joke!

They are doing a great job of keeping the gym a clean and friendly environment. The staff is always very kind and happy to help with any questions you may have about the gym itself or the equipment.

I loved the gym part but the website is misleading with the perk benefits for the guest you bring. They cant use the perk benefits which the whole reason I got the perks was for my fiance could use the perks because I want use them. There is no packages for a household that would allow it either, which would be a big thing. The facility & ambiance was very welcoming, nonintimidating and friendly.Edit: I have talked to management and we switched it where she is the perk card holder but now im the guest so I cant go unless she is going with me which means I want go as often.

The staff first and foremost are awesome people, the exercise machines that are available for usage definitely helps and my black card membership is set at an affordable monthly price, with very awesome options that come with it. I love it!

I was not a planet fitness

Staff was friendly and at least 3 at the desk. The problem was how dirty the dressing rooms were and with enough staff socializing with one another or on their cell phones, someone should take the initiative to clean the dressing rooms. Rugs were filthy, bugs on the floor, mirrors with fingerprints, etc. On Monday I saw what looked like a dead roach, it was still there on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday! Equipment was clean.

Yesterday was my first time at a gym and I just have to say it was a great experience and I was most definitely satisfied

I enjoyed coming and working out but didnt feel like I was get my moneys worth. Then I met Tina the trainer and she is amazing! She has a Burn, 30minute circuit, Lower Body, and Core classes and kicks your butt! She makes it fun, keeps you accountable, and makes me WANT to keep coming.

Excellent selection for different exercises and fitness ranges. Great amenities. Personable and helpful staff.

Great gym! All of the staff are super friendly and eager to help with anything you need. I always feel comfortable even exercising in public. No one bothers you or hassles you. Everybody is in their own bubble doing whatever they want and you get to enjoy your bubble. Theres a lot of different equipment which makes use convenient and easy. I would highly recommend Planet Fitness to anyone looking to join a gym.

Amazing and I love everything about this gym. Its clean and adequate equipment. There is always someone to help and all you have to do is ask. I was going to the YMCA which is very substandard compared to Planet Fitness. Im very thankful the Y no longer wants Sr. Citizens in their facility because Planet is so much better all the way around! Thank You! T

I only have a membership to tan here. The only problem I have is the air circulation. There is absolutely no air circulation in the tanning rooms. I use the stand up bed and the vents inside it blow only HOT AIR. Literally right in my face and I can’t even breath half the time because it’s so hot. This needs to fixed.

I love the location of this planet fitness. The staff is very friendly. There’s always warm water in the showers and for the most part it’s clean.

The good thing about having a black card. Is that you can go to any Planet Fitness around and I love it I got my Planet Fitness when I travel in Tennessee North Carolina and I love it. This place had a very friendly staff like they all do clean as always great equipment to workout on to stay in shape. Is what I expect when I first joined to see this at every place and this place was no different thank you for keeping up the status quo.

Feeling aggravated. I come here quite often but because its not my home gym (which I also frequent) they make me fill out the same questionnaire every time. I mentioned how Id prefer to just come work out and not do paperwork but it seems to fall on deaf ears.

The best deal on a gym in town, by far.

I went today as a guest with my sister. The equipment was all in great working condition. The only thing I did not like here was that the elliptical machine did not have a settings to lengthen the stride on it. The equipment was clean. The customer service people were attentive and willing to help. Will be getting my own membership next week sometime.

This is one of the best places to work out in Cookeville. There is plenty of parking and it’s almost never busy enough that you can’t find something to workout on. I really enjoy the 30 min circuit for arms and I also really like the stair machine. This place is clean shower bathroom etc. I have been a black card member in the past and can highly recommend it. You can bring someone in for free, use the red might therapy, tanning beds, massage chairs, and hydro massage table. Great way to relax the muscles after a good workout. 4 stars due to pizza and candy. Come on guys!!🤣

Planet Fitness in Cookeville, TN is the best. Everyone is so supportive, the atmosphere is friendly, employees are knowledgeable and always positive. Great place to workout!

The facility is clean, the staff very nice and helpful. It is nice to be greeted by name. The trainer is very knowledgeable and really gets young and older folks accommodated in the same group. No reason to be intimidated. Just a great place to workout. And after a while it feels like family.5 stars from me.

This Planet Fitness is fantastic. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and the gym itself is always clean. All the equipment is clean and well functioning, which means there are typically always machines open for whatever workout youre doing. Not to mention, its a great price for everything this gym has to offer. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone.

I started working out about three weeks ago. I had to wait until my teeth were healed from getting my wisdom teeth pulled. I met Steven who works at the Cookeville location. He has helped me a lot since I have worked in the classes that he does. He is a great motivator and wonderful trainer. Christian and Josh who are staff at this location have also helped me out by showing me how the equipment works. I am glad that I have chosen to start getting into shape. I want to live a long and prosperous life and I know that by going to Planet Fitness that I can do anything that I put my mind to. If you feel like that you cant get into shape and that people are going to make fun of you, then come to Planet Fitness. You will not regret it.

I enjoy working out here, but am surprised at how few people wipe down machines when they’re done. I remember being told as a member I should do that and have always wiped them down. Wash your hands well!

The rear entrance to Planet Fitness deserves a minus 5 star review from the Armageddon asteroid size potholes that are large enough to lose a Toyota Prius. You would think that the owner Johnny Stites and his world class J&S Construction Company would fix up the road for Planet Fitness, JC Penny, the Church. It’s turned in to a real classy truck rest stop and for some reason the semis think they need to park in the flow of traffic.

Always very clean, in 3+ years only remember 1 machine broken down, staff is great! Great place to workout. Only recommendation would be to put dehumidifier or fan in the shower area. Really humid in the summer.

The gym is very clean and the staff is awesome. With ppl like Taylor who greet you with a warm smile or Steven who keeps you motivated to keep climbing to get to your goals . Then there is Rikki who goes the extra mile for you when you need it the most. I couldnt ask for better experience .
