Worst customer service I have ever received. If I could give her zero starts I would. She ruined my bridesmaid dress for a wedding. The front and back are two totally different lengths, and the hem was uneven. I needed the dress taken in, and she crammed the fabric up under the seam and hand stitched it. The stitch was coming out after I tried the dress on. I tried to show her where the dress was different lengths and she told me she didnt know what to do. I took my dress somewhere else to see if they can even fix it. I attempted to get her to refund my money, which she made me pay up front, and she threw $35 at me. I paid $95 for the services and she told me she would not refund the full amount. She was EXTREMELY rude and hateful. I will never return and would not advise anyone to get alterations completed by her.

I really wish I didnt have to write this negative review, but as another person has already stated the little lady has some major memory/health issues. Dropped three sports coats off for the sleeves to be shortened and the tails hemmed up about an half inch. She told me the prices, So I paid her cash before the work was completed. We proceeded to have a 15 or so minute chat about me and my profession, and where I lived and so on. Went back on the day she said they would be done, and only one was completely finished. She acted like she had never seen me, so I handed her the receipt she had given me when I paid her on the first day. This is when she told me she hadnt charged me enough to begin with, and asked me to pay her more. I asked her several times to let me know how much more I owed her, and all she would reply with was oh a couple of more dollars. I had to send my sister to pick the other two up as I cant make it to Cookeville before she closes since I work in Lebanon. Same story as when I went to get them, she didnt remember me, and barely remembered the coats that went with the receipt. If I had been the one to pick the last two up, I would have asked for my money back. The buttons are missing or not sewn on evenly, and she didnt even complete the alterations on one jacket. At this point Im sure she needs the money more than I do, so its a hard lesson learned on my part.

Having to fix a dress that a friend had made there. It was a simple Batgirl dress that was supposed to have a yellow belt with the bat emblem on it. It was also supposed to be off-the-shoulder. My friend wanted some yellow material added to the underside of the skirt and peeping out. There was no yellow material at the bottom at all, there were two straps and a neckline that was almost choking her and there was no belt, only two bat emblems added to the front ON THE BREASTS and to top it off, the emblems were UPSIDE DOWN! My friend contacted me, beside herself, because the event is in four days so we will do our best to fix it but this isnt the only run-in I have had with Lisas alterations. We had an issue of ruining a dress for my daughters prom several years ago. She made it seem like the entire thing was our fault somehow. (I will give her kudos there though, it takes talent to be able to do that) This woman has no idea what she is doing and is very unprofessional. Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.

Do not take your clothes here!! I have a medical background and this lady has some major dementia. I was there 6 times with the same dress and she ended up taking it in rather than letting it out. She never remembered who I was or which dress was mine. The dress was an absolute disaster. It is a very pitiful situation. Please save yourself the heartache and time. I have no idea how she is still in business. Our community should not have let this go on for this long!

I have never written a review on any place but its been weighing on my conscience to advise you all: DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE. My boyfriend needed a pair of pants hemmed for a wedding on a Sunday, and he brought his pants to her the Monday before. He pays $20 up front and is told to come back Friday. Come Friday, she has NOT TOUCHED the pants and she begins shouting at him when he asks for his money back (since he essentially has paid her to hold his pants for a week). She finally agrees to pay him back, but only after she goes to her bank the next Wednesday.....on Wednesday she hasnt gone to the bank yet, told to come back Friday. On Friday, she only had $10 to give, come back next week. ANOTHER WEEK GOES BY AND SHE ONLY HAS $5 instead of the PROMISED, REMAINING $10. This has been a month long ordeal. Im sure she does good work...but well never know.

Called to see if she could patch a few pairs of shorts and she demanded to know Who is this? This was a red flag.Upon arriving, she started telling me how I should vote, and that she doesnt work on gay peoples clothes. This evolved into her lecturing me about her religious beliefs. She mistakenly asked what I thought and I told her that I thought she was full of hate and didnt represent her faith very well.I took my clothes back and have no intention of returning.
