Took a check that was signed correctly and legit and they would not cash it . Plus employ Britney was trying to tell me I was being rude . Which was cometly in called for.

The hours need to be posted more clearly on the web site. I visited the store on Jefferson Ave. And an man with a walker had been there for and hour, waiting for them to open.

Im fully disabled and lost my eye. Ive been trying to explain this over the past year. Ive had 2 strokes and I will file harassment charges. They continue to call me up to 10 times a day. I cant help Im no longer able to work and this is beyond ridiculous and better stop. I cant get any clearer than I already have.

I’d give one star just to the friendliness of the staff. They fail to inform you of the challenges to come with taking out a loan with AF. You can take out $300, but you will be paying back over $600. You don’t get 7-12 months of even payments to catch up on your own. In fact, they add more and more each DAY that you haven’t paid your loan off in full. You must make payments every 2 weeks. It is ridiculous, and completely defeats the purpose of needing money in desperate times. I wouldn’t recommend this company unless you make a lot of money, and fast. Horrible experience.

They could not get the person that wrote the check to answer the phone they said. I tried and got right threw and she said it never rings. Please dont fall prey to their various loan products. Especially title loans and Flex loans. They are loan sharks, financial predators who prey on people who are already struggling financially. 267% APR compounded daily! I dont understand how this type of predatory lending is legal. Contact your legislators and congressmen and demand that short term lenders be forced to charge reasonable interest and fees. The parent company Harpeth Financial donated almost $160.000 to politicians who support their theft of if money from the financially challenged consumers they dupe into their using their absurdly expensive credit products. This type of business makes it easy to get several hundred to several thousand dollars then unless you can pay it back in 30 days you are trapped paying a debt Thats almost impossible to pay off. Out of a $100 payment on a $1500 loan $87 goes to fees and interest and only$13 to principle. At that rate it will take years and thousands of dollars to pay off your loan. Notice how most of their positive reviews are by people who havent submitted any other reviews on Google? Its because many are fake or their employees! DONT DO IT!

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and I really wish I would stop receiving mail from here it makes me angry everytime I see it. I used this place a couple years ago the paper I got had my 1st 3 payment dates and amounts on it however they failed to pull the money out of my account for the date and amount stated on the paper. They pulled out money on several occasions for double and triple the amount and a week or longer after due date listed. Just imagine the mess they put me in. I called their customer service and their system showed something totally different then what I had on my print out from there. I go into the Cookeville branch and they show the same thing my paper shows hmmm not sure how that works. They do not mind at all taking advantage and screwing people over but will send you straight to collections and here comes Harpeth like blood hounds, court dates, garnishments whatever. Nobody acknowledging their screw up from the jump or it would have never gotten out of hand. This place is a joke beware be very aware and I recommend staying as far away from this place as possible.

Dont cash your check here unless you have plenty of time to wait on them to approve it. I walked out after waiting 30 minutes. I went to Walmart next door and had my check cashed in under 5 minutes.
