We had been researching and looking at various cars since April 2021. I knew I wanted a hybrid. After viewing Consumer Reports, the Camry hybrid consistently outscored all others. The decision was made that we would purchase a Camry Hybrid XLE. We found Cumberland Toyota online and then was recommended by a colleague. We were fortunate enough to have Cody Thomas as our salesman. Cody was absolutely amazing. He kept in constant contact with us trying to help us in anyway we needed. He made us feel like we were family. I would highly recommend Cody to assist a customer on a Toyota purchase. The process of buying the car went very smoothly with the assistance of Josh Lawson. He was very helpful and extremely kind to walk us through the paperwork portion of our purchase. He was extremely easy to talk to and answered any questions we had. We felt so at home and welcome. We will definitely go back to Cumberland when we buy another car.

We looked far and wide to find the new car my wife wanted. Cumberland Toyota had the only RAV4 Limited within 300 miles of Atlanta. I called Brandon Wacker and we talked for a bit. We made the drive up the next morning and couldn’t have been treated any better. The whole process of trading our car and buying the new one was seamless. We were on our way back home in no time. We are very happy with our purchase and the way Cumberland Toyota’s staff worked with us. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your next car.

Car wouldn’t start and kept dying while driving. Was able to get to the service dept late in the day, after 5:00. They took care of my car immediately and replaced the battery and assured me the alternator was working properly. Only there a few minutes, went through the express service lane and it is as advertised express and quick. Travis helped us and he was very friendly, quick to diagnose the issue, and efficient and fast as he got someone right away to replace the battery. Hey they are quicker than Autozone and way more knowledgeable. Thanks Travis for always giving good service and getting it right the first time and every time we come here

Ill start by saying that I was asked to make an appointment for my recall. When I called I asked how long it would take to complete. I was told that I had a second recall and that it would take 2 hours to complete both and that they needed to order parts for the one. I was given a choice of a few time frames a few days later (on a day I picked). I settled on a 10:00am appointment due to the fact that I live 40 minutes away. I arranged for a friend to pick me up. I waited for a call. 12:00pm rolled around and still no call. I assumed that they were running late and would probably finish after they got back from lunch. At 1:26pm I called and asked how much longer it might take as I stayed local. I was then told that they were really busy and it hasnt been taken back yet. I was also told that they werent sure when they could get it in and maybe in a hour and it will definitely be done today. I asked what time they closed and was told 7:00. Im not sure why they made me make an appointment to get the recall done if they planned on doing it whatever time they felt like it. It would have been less frustrating had they explained the situation when I dropped off the car. They could have mentioned Im sorry but we really overbooked todays schedule and we probably wont be able to get to you until much later. I would have gone home. I guess that was a little to much to ask for. After discussing it with them and telling them that this was bad service and that I would now head home I received a phone call at 2:19 telling me that my car was ready and that who ever told me that the work would take 2 hours was wrong. I had just made it home a few minutes ago. I do like my car (not purchased at Cumberland Toyota) but I will never be back there again.***edit - If the response you gave was actually true and you actually planned on doing something about it then you would have fixed it by now. If you actually look at the negative reviews you have gotten over the years most are about the poor service received by your service department. This shows that you are both aware of the situation and also consciously deciding not to do anything about it. I also work in a service field (not automotive repair). If I treated customers with the disrespect for their time by ignoring the appointment times we agreed upon we would soon have no customers. You rely on the good name Toyota vehicles have and do not care about your customers needs after purchase

I had been looking for a Toyota Highlander hybrid and discovered they are hard to find. Cumberland Toyota had the vehicle that I wanted. I called and left a deposit on the car. I provided them with information about the cars I would be trading in. (I am going down to only 1 car). When I arrived the Highlander was ready to go and the paperwork was nearly complete. We went over it and since the price seemed reasonable we finished the whole transaction in about an hour. It was a very pleasant experience. Also, I have only had the car for a day but it seems perfect for me.

Buying a new car is sometimes a very trying experience, and sometimes may bridge two or three days to iron out a deal. This is not the experience that we encountered with Cumberland Toyota, the sales staff (Brandon Wacker was our sales rep) was well trained and very efficient in serving our needs. We spent about 4 hours from test drives to driving away in our new Venza. Could not have asked for more.

Took my moms car in for oil change yesterday. It was pretty fast. They did a good going over with topping off fluids, rotating tires and even checking pounds of air in tires and adding air to make them all the same. When I called to make the appointment, $50 something. Actual total was almost $90. I can live with that. What I did not like is being ignored as workers came in and out. It was like I was invisible. Also, did not like the fact that my mother is on oxygen and we had to play hide and seek to find her car

I had an appointment to get the tires rotated on my almost brand new Highlander - probably a 30 minute job. It was almost two hours by the time I got my car back - and if I hadn’t gone to see what was going on it apparently would have been even longer. Unacceptable waste of my time. If they were that far behind I would have gladly rescheduled. This is completely disrespectful. I only gave 2 stars because (I think) they did rotate my tires. Maybe. Oh also - I’ve been in for scheduled service twice, and this happened both times.

I have a 2019 Highlander my son bought me and it had 8300 miles on it, so I took it in for the 10k/15k oil change and check up. Cumberland Toyota was fast, friendly, efficient, and the Service Person gave me info to have an accessory added by going to the Assessory store just past the Cumberland Chrysler lot.Before I got my Highlander I had been driving a Dodge Caravan my dad had bought from Cumberland Chrysler. The excellent service I got from Cumberland Chrysler Service department, and how they still take care of my mom there is why I wanted to take my car there. All of the Cumberland Auto dealerships and service departments are top notch, most honest auto dealership I have ever dealt with. I will always buy from them and use their Service departments.

Started off as a great experience with them for being a out of state sale to a pain in a matter of weeks. Granted i may have lost my title or it wasn’t sent to me, regardless I’ve got this dealership plenty of times over weeks just for them to argue with me about when they sent the title. Regardless they should have been helping me get a new one instead of arguing with me about when they sent it. Do not recommend this place if you’re out of state looking to purchase a car. They argued with me for weeks when all i wanted was to talk to their title person to see if i can get another but they argued about when they sent it. Very unprofessional when it comes to that.

Went for help with a tire that had a screw in it and the girl didn’t want to help me. She threw some air in my tire and said she didn’t see anything. I even showed her the difference in the pressure. Riley Wanted me to come back when they weren’t so busy.I was prepared to leave the vehicle and I had to go back in with a picture of the screw and a gentleman actually helped me. A couple hours and I got a call that it was fixed. I just don’t understand turning people away who are willing to work with the demand in workload.

I was in Tennessee away from home. I experienced a problem with my RAV. My main concern was getting back home up north before the storm. It was pretty late in the afternoon when I called Cumberland Toyota for help. They told me to come right over. When I arrived, the Service Advisor took my report then brought my vehicle back to Service. The Mechanic looked my vehicle over, conducted an additional safety check and ensured me my vehicle was safe to drive home. And they did all this, complimentary.I cant tell you how relieved I was after leaving the dealership! They treated me professionally and compassionately. Had a great experience at Overdrive USA in Cookeville, TN. Drove all the way there from Knoxville to test drive a rare fully-loaded Infiniti QX60 Hybrid (which we bought! :-). Staff were friendly and attentive, had the car ready for us when we got there, and were very helpful. What a wonderful experience my husband and I had at Cumberland Toyota purchasing a new vehicle. We were very impressed with Brandon Wacker and his working knowledge of the vehicles we were considering. He was professional from beginning to end. The sales manager was also responsive and certainly on top of our purchase. Not only did we get a fair trade but felt they gave us a good deal overall. I scheduled a maintenance appointment for an Oil change and alignment on 3/4/21. I dropped my vehicle off early and was told they would call when it was ready. I came back 30 minutes prior to closing, 4.5 hours after leaving my vehicle, and they had not even begun the alignment. I don’t feel confident that they completed the alignment in less than 30 minutes when a standard alignment takes an hour minimum. I was charged the full price for an alignment with no proof it was completed, the service writer informed me their printer was “broken”. I am not happy with the level of service received regarding the alignment.

Had first appt. scheduled on Friday due to a recall. Left car for the reccomended 2 hours. Came back, two hours later only to find out our car hadnt been touched and it was closing time. So another appt. was scheduled for 8 am the following Wednesday. Dropped off my car at 8 am only to find out it hadnt been put into the schedule. Getting upset at this point. (I worked customer service management for years.) They did give me a loner car, worked me into the schedule and got my car back later that afternoon. Employee was polite and understanding.

Zero stars if there was an option. Highly do not recommend this company. Toyota finicial services will not work with you in times of an emergency especially in a pandemic. My father in-law is in and out of the hospital due to getting older with diabetes, my mother has late stage cancer, and my dad recently suffered from a heart attack. Covid-19 has been causing alot of set backs, but I always eventually catch up on my payments. I just need a little more time. I never get anything in the mail from Toyota Finicial Services and the only way to receive any notice is using thier awful automated phone system becuase my co-signer went through a bankruptcy. I called to make a payment and surprise, my car just went out for repossession. I asked for more time to pay the full past due amount and they told me there is nothing they can do. I have had problems in the past and always called before hand and they always told me that there is nothing they can do. Since Toyota never tried to work with me on my situation, Im pretty sure they wont work with you. Also, my car was only supposed to be $21,000 but Credit Karma let me know that it was a $28,000 loan so I was mislead hard. During my purchase, they kept stressing to give 5 stars ratings and always put excellent on feedback surveys. You need to do this statements made me very uncomfortable. Please review all ratings because I feel the 1 star ratings are a more accurate of the companys representation.
