My experience with sears service technician was one of great disappointment. First, the service technician called me Bud, my first name is Andrew my last name is Anderson and prior to that, its Mr... Also, during his inspection of my refrigerator, he discovered a loose connection on the PCB. He immediately assumed that I may have been responsible for this by questioning me in an accusatory and suspicious manner. I have never encountered a more disrespectful service repair technician than this one. This technician needs to be retrained on how to relate to customers on a professional level or be terminated. On a personal note, I would like to let Sears Corporation know that the Kenmore Elite Refrigerator with french doors and bottom mount freezer, 795.74025.411 made by LG which I purchased in July of 2016, is the worst Kenmore product I have ever owned. The refrigerator broke down within the first three years of ownership. The linear compressor had to be replaced at a cost of over $400 dollars for labor. Two years later, the same refrigerator was not cooling properly in either the refrigerator section or the freezer compartment, also the ice maker quit working at the same time. The aforementioned service technician suggested that I leave the refrigerator unplugged for two days then plug it in and wait 24 hours to allow the unit to reach proper temperature, he also indicated that if this procedure did not fix the problem the estimated cost for repairs would be between $800 and $1200 dollars. After performing the recommended steps suggested by the service tech the refrigerator and freezer compartment temperatures were well above 70 degrees, making the refrigerator useless. All my kitchen appliances are Kenmore; range, dishwasher, upright freezer, microwave, garbage disposal, rangehood and not to mention my garage door openers are Kenmore, and not one of them has given me problems. This refrigerator retailed for $3800. dollars plus tax with a totaled cost of over $4100 dollars and it lasted only 5 years!!! Shame on you Sears for selling such a defective product.A. The visit went well. Was asked if I would be able to attach the baffle when it came in the mail and I said yes. He didnt say anything about a new belt or blades. When they came in I called and they said I was supposed to put them on. I said no, that Im 72 years old and cannot do that so I need a new appointment to have them put on. The person said the appointment would be 6/24/2020. I had tried to use my mower but it will not allow me to put the blades down without stalling out so now it appears I have to wait over as month to be able to mow. Im very upset about this as my grass will be waist high by then. I pay for home service so that this doesnt happen.

The service repair man was very nice. However the scheduling was a joke. The day before my appointment received text saying would be at house between 8 - 5 that day (received text after 5), then got another one later on saying rescheduled to the following week ( again received text about 6 the night before). I called repair/ scheduling and ask why when appointment had been set for some time and why so late in day to advise wasnt going to be here as originally planned. I really got the run around as to why. THEN the next morning received text saying would in fact be at house for the original appointment. I once again called Sears to confirm and was told yes repairman would be there that day and no one could explain why changed back to original day but assured me he would be there. Repairman did come to only be told a 6 year old 3 door Kenmore Refrigerators compressor was out and NO warranty. Plus, repair cost would be almost as much as buying a new refrigerator. To say the least very very disappointed in Sears product and warranty. Now sitting here with a beautiful refrigerator that is a piece of junk. Not the reliable product Sears use to have in past years.

I have been a faithful sears appliance buyer for over 30 years. My faithfulness was due to the service I expected from Sears.For this last service my refrigerator was a high end unit (over $3000) and was less than 3 years old.This repair was the worst service experience I have ever had on any appliance from anyone. The refrigerator failed on May 8. I finally got the first repairman to check it out on May 16 (yes over a week just to get a repairman to diagnose a failed refrigerator) and he showed up at 6 pm on the day he was supposed to arrive in the morning. He diagnosed and ordered parts. I waited for the parts several days then the second repariman showed up and said the first one had ordered the wrong part. So.... had to wait days again to get the correct part(s). Then had to reschedule for a repairman again....and all along the way I was calling and complaining and being told things that turned out not to be true (such as a supervisor would call me the next day....that was over a week ago and still no supervisor call....).Many other disappointments happened that are not mentioned. Finally on Tues June 4 a nice, competent repairman (same one that came on the second visit) came and fixed the fridge. So....it ended up taking 3 weeks and 3 days for the repair....much too long for a fairly new refrigerator.Needless to say I plan to never by another Sears appliance.Ted

We had a few issues that needed repair and we live in a remote area. Daren is wonderful! He is very knowledgeable and patient because it took more than 1 visit to fix our fridge. He made sure the parts were here and he always arrived with a smile and ready to work.

The repairman was on time, very much on top of things, installed the parts, made sure everything was working properly and allowed us to try it out for ourselves before leaving. He was very respectful and most pleasant. Thank you very much.

Very friendly employees. Labor was extremely expensive. Part was $114, total bill was $560. It took less then 5 min. to determine the problem & less than 5 min. to replace the part.

No Stars! called for service to my dishwasher. they quoted me $90 just to drive to my house. that did not include any service labor or parts. I cancelled and went with someone else who came from further away. $67 to come and diagnose the issue + parts cost.

The technician was in and out of there in no time, he replaced the part that was broken on our refrigerator and at the last min. I let him know about another issue we were having and he was able to fix it right away.

The repair technician has worked on our heat pump several times before. He was very knowledgeable about our unit and fixed the problem in no time once he got the part. The repairman (Billy) had to wait almost two weeks to get the part to repair our unit.

My dryer was tumbling but heating stopped. Then heating started again and stopped. Called for repairman. Moved the dryer slightly to unhook dryer outlet tube. When repairman showed up dryer was heating. Repairman checked for codes etc. and told me that nothing was wrong that he could find. Repairman left. Next morning I moved the dryer again to rehook the outlet tube. Dryer was not heating again. After some thought, I wiggled the power cord and the dryer started heating. I bought a new cord and fixed the dryer myself. Only 3 stars because I believe he should have done what I did and wiggled the cord. Im no repair person, but I can use logic. If everything else is working, there is only one simple answer to the problem which I found for myself.

!!!!!!! Great !!!!!!!!! My wife and i love sears, My new lawn mower is Great !! so is my new pressure washer !! it had a problem and like always sears backs up there word and gave me a new one.The dishwasher after two years had a problem sears again came out fixed the dishwasher all my tools are craftsman i have never had a problem returning them if something happened to them, after all these years the best buy and a true guarantee is Sears !!!!!
