This post office hates humanity. Eddie route 8 lies and is very rude. He yells at people asking politely for their own mail.None of the post office phone numbers work so feel free to post all their info online. They lie and deserve no respect from the public.

This post office has normally been great. However their phone customer service is terrible. I cannot get hold of any person and have been in a never ending loop on the voice automated system. My issue is very simple and I just need to speak to someone. Only giving two starts since they are normally great but if there’s ever an issue you cannot call them.

By far the worst post office ever. Extremely slow, disorganized, and not helpful. This post office is grossly understaffed. It took them 9 business days to create my mailbox key when the process suppose to be 3-4 business days. There is 1 person working the mail office & that person is SLOW. if you can avoid tho location please do. Ive been here several times throughout the day and the line doesnt go away. It is constantly backed up out the door & into the mailbox hallway. I got here at 10:10 and its 10:33...im still waiting out the door with 7 people in front of me. The line has not moved. Dont come here if you don have to.

I spoke to his supervisor name Jennifer today and was very unhappy with the service that I received. This past Friday I found out that my mailbox was giving away to my next door neighbor since I live in a duplex how this happen I have no idea everything is labeled and I have been in the same unit for 2 years the post office let me know that they would fix the issue and on Saturday they would be bringing me a new key here it is Wednesday I still have no key and when I asked today about the mail carrier dropping off my key right away I was told that she couldnt it was against their policy and I would have to wait for her to be in my area which is very odd to me since they hand-delivered my mail on Friday. The fact that someone can tamper with my mailbox and here I am with no mail 5 days later is very unsettling and very unprofessional. I also asked to speak to a manager and she said they dont have a manager which is weird so how are you as supervisor Im being lied to left and right it is unacceptable and Ive already reported this to the Inspector General.

I own a business and sometimes drop off packages that are prepaid in the evening. Why, does it take 2-5 days to even be scanned into the system?- just to be sent to the San Antonio airport location and finally be shipped off?! I had sent a package last week on Monday 5/10, I would expect at least that the package show that the USPS has receipt of it by 5/11... nope. This package was not scanned in as ‘received’ until 5/15 by Converse. The kicker? My customer lives in Seguin, not even 45 minutes away. Because of the delay and it was a gift for her mother- I personally delivered it to the mother’s home address yesterday. So I am out over $50 for an item I had to remake and drop off. But hey, at least she will get another one eventually in the mail. These people do not care about others and the impact their laziness has on small businesses and their customers. I will now only use the airport Post Office location, since everything from Converse gets directed there first- and then it leaves the San Antonio area.

This afternoon, between 1:30 and 2p, I went to drop some mail in the drop boxes out side of the USPS at the Converse office on Schaefer Rd. and BOTH were so FULL that mail was overflowing out of BOTH boxes!! UNBELIEVABLE! Theres no way that you can convince me that this happened between Saturday and Sunday! This is not the first time that Ive seen this happen! My understanding is that mail is to be picked up @3:30p on days noted!! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

This post office is an absolute joke. Every week I am getting an alert of delivery in my parcel. When I open my box there is no key there. Now I have to waste time driving to the post office to be told they will talk to the carrier and get back with me. Meanwhile I am losing count on how many claims Im filing. This is unbelievable.

Too bad you cant post it without a star... This post office has got to be one of the worst locations that exists. They should really be ashamed at the lack of service they provide, the arrogant attitudes their employees have and the simple fact that the post master doesnt care. He sits at a desk and is paid to sit there with his thumb up his butt. I have had to fight for my mail to be delivered to my location multiple times and still cant seem to get anything right. I have had several bills and payments lost in the mail. So the next time they lose anything of mine, I really feel the post master at this location should compensate me out of his own pocket.

The worst post office ever!!!After moving into a townhome in Converse, TX on Adolph Scheel Way, I was directed to this post office to have a mailbox setup. Needleless to say, it seemed like the process was going smoothly, but at that time I was told that the mailboxes for that location were in the process of being setup. So, I would have to stop by the actual post office to pick up my HOLD mail. However, a few days later, upon my first return to pick up my HOLD mail, I was not able to pick up the mail at the designated HOLD mail window because, the staff was too busy at the regular window to assist customers at the HOLD mail window. So, I got in the regular window line and 20 minutes later, I made it to the regular window and was told that I have no mail.This went on for a few weeks and sometimes I got mail and sometimes I didnt. However, I am writing this review because for the past week I was strung along with the belief that my keys were going to be issued. So, about a week ago, I saw the mailperson deliver the mail to the boxes designated for my residence. So, the next day, I went to the post office and was told the keys would be ready the next day, so I returned the next day and the same thing was told to me, the keys will be ready tomorrow. So, this went on for three separate occasions (Friday, Saturday and Monday).So, on Tuesday when I returned, the keys were given to me. However, when I went to the mailbox and attempted to open the mailbox, no access, the keys did not work, I tried all of the other boxes that the keys would fit in and no access was the result. After all of that, the waiting, the driving back and forth, the attendants telling me that the keys were ready and that not being true. The disappointment and frustration of having keys in hand but, they dont work is too much. The Converse Branch/Annex of the USPS is the most unprofessional and incompetent branch that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.During all of this, on one occasion, I was told by a supervisor that assisted me at the HOLD window that the keys would be brought to my house by the mail delivery person. Needless, to say, that never happened. At this point, I am so disappointed in the service being provided by this post office, I cant wait to move away from this place.

This has been the worst post office I have ever dealt with. Lies repeatedly that packages have been delivered when they haven’t. Then they replace a set of mailboxes and doesn’t even tell people what needs to be done in order to get the new keys. If other post offices around the country are run like this one, then the USPS needs to go away. It is absolute pathetic!

I wish they would answer their phones. I have a package stuck in the same broken parcel box that they seem to keep wanting to use and the key broke off. It rings and rings and then if someone picks up they hang up on you. As someone who has worked for USPS in another state, this is completely unprofessional.

The people at this location are absolutely worthless. I have had several packages go to the wrong address in my neighborhood multiple times. The carrier for my neighborhood is lazy that he marks no access to perform delivery when there are no obstacles that would prevent delivery. Furthermore I have tried to reach someone at the post office for my neighborhood and can not be directly connected. I have filed multiple complaints 2 this week alone and no one has gotten back to me. Post offices ran like this one are the very reason they should be shut down or bought and taken over by a private company. That way people who fail to do their will be fired and not allowed to continually be a waste of space and oxygen.

In the middle of a pandemic, weary of going into a post office? Yeah, me too but apparently the only option you will have with this location is to drive there and go inside. They refuse to answer the phones. Maybe its the time of day, perhaps they are just under staffed or super busy? Not the case. Where are my packages? Why do they keep disappearing but showing up as delivered? Something seriously needs to change with how this place handles their buisness.

By the other reviews you will know that this place is horrible. The man working the counter needs to find a new job because he obviously hates his. He chose to belittle a customer because she didn’t know different shipping options. And when it was my turn he decided to speak under his breathe and when asked what he said “oh nothing, I just don’t have a filter”. I said if he had a problem w me finding out where my mail was then he needs to speak up like a man. Had to go back a second time in one day because they couldn’t find my mail. They still couldn’t find it. But of course this poor excuse of a human being thought I should just wait another week for them to “find it”. Where is my mail!?!?

I have gone to the post office 3 days in a row,the line is long so I went to the parcel door and rang the bell numerous times to talk to someone about the vandalized mailboxes no answer. I tried calling got the recording about hours and was transfered to next available person, the phone rang for 15 minutes everytime no one answers. They fixed the outgoing box on their own. Guess Ill just have to take a hammer and fix it myself. Probably get arrested for damaging federal property. You would think they could look at their 2.2 rating and figure out they have a problem. Guess federal money is easy to get and do nothing!

Natasha deserve a recognition for her well-mannered service, patience, swift but effective work for everyone who walk into this post office. I’d admit there is one employee (the only male clerk at the window) who seems to hate his job with all his guts but the rest of the clerks makes this thorn-of-a-worker disappear with their outstanding service.

I’ve been at this post office several times, not even once have I been treated kind, employees are so rude, last times I was asking questions about the kind of shipping methods and the person who was “helping” would barely speak to me, my package didn’t make It complete, the liquids were busted open and as a result I lost $200 this is the last time I use the post office, make yourself a favor and please do not visit this location.

My family and I have been using this post office for over 30 years. We’ve never had any problems sending or receiving regular mail or packages.We visit at least 3 times a month to use their services and have always been treated courteously by the professionals who work there. The one problem I have is the actual service area. With very few exceptions every time I visit the customer line stretches out the door. They need more room. Remodel or build a post office.

I have tried calling multiple days, multiple times. Nobody answers the phone ever. I know the number is correct, it automatically says thank you for calling Converse Post Office. It is just ridiculous. I have never been so upset at how a business is run. Please hire someone to answer phone calls so that our packages can be taken care of without us having to take off of work and drive to the location to make a simple request.

Lack of management and customer service. Who knows how many mail pieces I haven’t received. You complain on the phone and in person, and nothing changes. If I could give 0 stars I would! We came here to renew our daughters passport. We made an appointment online but we were about 15 minutes early and they were able to help us right away despite quite a few peoplein line. Jennie was the person who helped us and she was awesome! I used the wrong ink color and she was super patient while I refilled out the form. She was very efficient, courteous and helpful. While we were finishing up at the counter we noticed that the other 2 employees were also providing great customer service to other customers. Thank you for everything you do and especially great customer service! Great job Converse USPS 😃👍

This review is only specific to the passport process at this establishment. The lady who helped me process my application was named Norma, and she was great. If you have everything you need to send off your application, this is the easiest thing to do. Norma accepted all my documents and payments and then took what was necessary to continue moving forward. One thing you need to know that I wasn’t aware of is that when you provide your birth certificate, they will make a copy of it and take the original document and send it to whoever it goes to process your passport. Don’t fuss about it! Let them take it and move on. Norma gave me a copy of mine and assured me I will get the original document properly and safely in mail. I also paid via MoneyOrder slips. One for $140 and a separate slip for $35. The $140 is for the passport card AND book. You have a choice if you want both, or if you only want one for a cheaper price. The $35 is pretty much the service fee to do all of the paperwork and whatnot. I believe you can pay by card here, in case anyone was wondering. Overall, great work Norma! You made this so easy. Go to your appointment prepared and don’t sign anything until the person behind the counter tells you to.

Worst post office I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve live in this city for 2 months and have had mail AND packages misplaced and lost 6 times in the past 2 months. No problems with fedEx or UPS or Amazon. This USPS can’t seem to get their sh!t together and deliver items to the right place on time. And when you have informed delivery and you’re watching for everything to come, there’s no where in the app or website to report a package not being delivered. They also don’t answer their phones at this location so it’s kind of hard to report anything to anyone unless you catch them in the truck on the street. Even then it’s kind of useless cuz they still don’t know what they’re doing.

I come to get my sons their passports its 2:18pm. Walk in time closes at 3pm. They were printing a dudes photo...they say we are done. I say, it is 2:20pm. She said the lady that does passports is leaving early. Then I said.. So your website and signs are wrong. All she could say was a half empathetic sorry. Close 40 minutes early... Im not even going to mention the worker that yelled to the manager, Okay... Im on double time now! with hella attitude. Just know us in line were cracking up.

It’s two days from Christmas, I ordered a gift a week ago and was supposed to arrive in two days, I get the notification “set to deliver today” never showed up and got another notification saying “awaiting scan” then two more days later it marks “delivered in mailbox” but still wasn’t there. It’s now been 9 days and I had to file a online complaint and talk to the workers at converse post office just to be told they don’t know where it’s at. I called later the day to get clarification and had to call over 10 times to get a answer. All I know is the driver is a female, idk who the driver is but they deserved to be fired for losing packages so close to Christmas. They’re always late to deliver too, I have to wait til 4:30 pm everyday to get my package delivered.Edit: February 5thAnother one of my packages was marked delivered at 10:40 amSo I go to get it but once again not there. Even showed when it departed the Post office. I don’t understand how they can mess up so many times and falsify shipping information.

I am trying to get a passport. In order to turn in the application it requires an appointment. I have called multiple times and I have let the phone ring continuously for three minutes before it disconnected and nobody ever answers the phone. How are you going to make an appointment if nobody answers the phone? Finally, today i took a drive over there without the appointment only to find the door closed with a sign saying that passport applications are only taken from 10 to 2. Would have been helpful for that information to have been made available with the phone number. So, I drove back home having wasted 40 minutes of my morning. After 10 I tried calling a few more times still no answer. Going to drive over there again see if I can get this done. I am tired of wasting my time.

I had the same issue with my package being put in Box 2 and then the key wouldnt open it. It has been a week trying to get this sorted out. I am thankful that it wasnt medication. Was just informed that the supervisor is going to go out and try to open it and if she cant then they will put in a work order for someone to come out from San Antonio. Doesnt get me my package any sooner :-(

We have had packages stolen out of our community mailbox numerous times! There is a large dent/gap in between the door and the frame of the packages box from someone, it appears, sticking a crowbar into the door to pry the box open. Often this box is also left unlocked and open, yet the post carrier continues to place packages inside... This is unacceptable. Also, to add it, on a more than weekly basis our regular mail is placed in the wrong box and then returned to sender by neighbors who have received the wrong (our) mail. No one cares to fix it and there is no one to hold unaccountable for it. Ive informed our regular postman and the Temps, they dont care. They continue to deliver mail/packages to this broken, busted up mailbox. It has been over a year and the mailbox has STILL not been replaced! The USPS location doesnt care. What do I do!? How can I insure that Ill get my mail and my packages!?

We absolutely love our local post office here in Converse. And our postman even helped find and save our pit bull, leading us several streets over to where the police had just caught him after he had escaped and was trying to socialize with neighbors. Lol i was so, so grateful. They not only provide very fast and accurate service re mail and delivery, but also have a heart that five stars isnt even enough for. 💖 thank you to them for their service to our community.

Ive been trying to call to confirm my package was left in facility because it said it was left in my mailbox but wasnt there. Im unable to drive and wanted to make sure it was there before walking over there in the heat. The phone either always rings for 2-4 minutes or someone picks up the phone after a minute and immediately hangs up. After being hung up on twice they just continued to stop picking up. Incredibly unprofessional.

Natasha is the absolute sweetest! They may be understaffed at times, but she always takes her time! I had a package that was delivered to the wrong address, she called me around 6pm to tell me they were able to retrieve it. This isn’t the first time they’ve retrieved my package within a short time frame. Yes, these things happen, but my mail lady had extra help that day and she checked the surrounding area to see if it was delivered elsewhere.

Wish I could give it no stars. Have been living in the area for about a year and half, and I cannot count on ALL fingers and toes how many times we just don’t get mail when we are supposed to. We are subscribed to the USPS Informed Delivery Daily Digest, so we know what to expect and when to expect it. I can assure you that we are skipped (don’t receive mail when we are supposed to) more than twice a month, usually on a Monday or Friday. What is the US Post Office motto (which is actually posted in their Post Office), “Neither rain nor snow nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.” I can assure you, that is a JOKE in converse. Can’t tell you how many times I have literally had to go fetch my own mail at their office. If I EVER have a shipping option, it certainly is NEVER USPS. Hate that because as a Government employee (Military), I would prefer to support them...

I ordered 2 shirts online for my sons 1st birthday party. The tracking says Delivered but I havent received anything. I called the 1-800 number and filed a claim but after reading the other comments I guess Ill have to go and pay for shirts to be made locally. Those people working there have no idea how things like this affect people. Im beyond mad but at the same time just want to cry. My carrier keeps delivering the wrong mail and delivering mine to someone else. Twice my debit/credit cards were returned along with several bills. This is not a once in a while issue. This is every week, every day. I didnt even want to give one star, but it was the only way I could post this. Ive contacted the USPS, but no one seems to care. Tried to get my mail from my community mail box and couldnt. Apparently they have replaced our community mailbox and didnt bother to tell us or get us new keys. Tried to call the post office for 40 minutes and no one will answer the phone. Terrible customer service. No wonder the the Post Office is failing.

This office is awesome. No one answers the phone, because all three lines have the same phone number, and after seeing their line...I can understand why one phone line is answered at a time!

This post office does not care. The post master does not care. The post office manager does not care. They dont open on time. They dont answer their phone. They dont deliver our packages. These people might as well be on welfare---collecting money, not doing any real work.

My experience with this post office this morning was fantastic. A package I sent with tracking showed it was delivered to the front desk/reception on Saturday of a business that is not open on Saturday. I called the post office; got through on the first call; the post office contacted the mailman for that route; the mailman had already realized his mistake - he had scanned the package as delivered in error. The mailman had the package on his vehicle to deliver later today. I was able to let my distraught customer know that she WOULD indeed be receiving her package. The mailman is human and all humans are prone to mistakes. A mistake was made, corrected, and I was given the correct and necessary information. Thank you Converse, TX Post Office!!

This Post Office does not answer phone calls. Its very difficult to get a hold of someone via phone and having to waste time going in personally to get a question answered. Either needs additional personnel or need training on answering phone calls to provide appropriate customer service.

Worst P.O. ever!!!! Claims they have quick service! I rang the doorbell and waited 20 mins and still no one answered! I needed to claim a package and the lady refused to give it to me. I just moved here and hate it already! Im definitely not in the country anymore. Here, they are rude and do not care!

Community outgoing mailbox was vandalized two weeks before christmas. Still have to drive to the post office to get mail because they said its illegal to leave it there. Well its been over a month so fix our damn mailbox

So I missed a registered letter today due to not being home. Funny thing is I was home in my living room no tv on just on my phone. No knock on my door nor my door bell ringing.Only reason I knew I missed it was I got a text saying I missed it, because I am tracking said letter. So this isn’t the first time this has happen. So I called the number on the slip no answer and got hung up on multiple times. Ok call the 1800 number over and hour and fourty minute wait time. Beyond mad at this point.

I like this Post Office and everyone that works there but its the 2nd time that I come in and I see the younger female with dark hair I believe she has braces treating people rudely she has personally never helped me but as Im waiting for my packages I see how she treats people and its not customer service like to treat people the way she does people dont work therr to know how things should be shipped or what envelopes and forms to use.... someone needs to speak to this young lady and let her know how she should speak to people I was There today Saturday September 22nd and as Im waiting for my packet shes help 3 people And all 3 people she treated them like that you work at customer service learn how to treat people and be lucky that you never help me because and treat me that way cause that will be your worst day. Stop being rude..

This post office is just barely on life support in regards to customer service. I just called them to complaim, and after the phone rang 17 times in a row. I hung up. Our community mail boxes still have defective locks on the bottom boxes. If i stick the key in and turn, i would probably break the key. Maybe thats what i need to do to get this fixed. Extremely frustrating!

Requested a redelivery for the weekend so I knew Id be home, since the package requires an adult signature. I still havent received the package, even though it was rescheduled for today. They attempted to redeliver yesterday, which was the wrong redelivery day.Contacted USPS, but they said only the postmaster can help. Unfortunately, this location closes at noon.

This post office has lost my package again the last two times , Thank goodness for my great neighbors I have complained and nothing has change !! I hate it this office and they dont care because they know no one can change offices.
