I was just here earlier today (8-7-2021) and this guy in this photo (Mr Johnathan) was absolutely hands down the corporate model of customer service‼️ I end up having my alternator die on me but in that process it killed my brand new battery completely so I make it up to this auto zone location to change out my now dead battery for a replacement and I had to buy a new alternator. Now I intended on switching out the burned out alternator right in the parking lot but I didnt have any of my tools on me. πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ Johnathan came thru in the clutch for me completely by lending me what I needed to get the job done out if his own collection of tools‼️ HEAR ME AUTO ZONE AND GIVE THIS MAN HIS OWN STORE‼️ Johnathan I really appreciate your genuine customer service and professionalismβ€ΌοΈπŸ’―

Jonathan, one of the managers at the conroe store across from HEB helped me with wiper selection for a BMW which I thought only took OEM parts.Sounds simple, but it was a pain in the neck - and it took just the right replacement. He even installed them for me … in the pouring rain. Great customer service.

Brought in a battery I thought was as dead as could be. Was ready to throw down the money. The manager tested it for me and told me they could charge it to see. Two hours later I came back, my battery was charged and the whole thing cost me $0. He didn’t have to go above and beyond, but he did. I appreciate honesty and service like that because it’s hard to find these days!

At approximately 1:50 PM on May 3 of 2021, I visited And AutoZone store in Conroe. The location is 3834 West Davis St., Conroe, TX. I went into the store and asked to the gentleman behind the counter if they can assist me in replacing a lightbulb. As always they were very friendly and helpful. After they replaced the light I went inside and paid and drove home. As I was driving home on the highway at approximately 60 miles an hour then suddenly the hood Nothing on my car flew open smashing into my windshield.I panicked and pulled over to the side of the road. My hood was completely destroyed in my windshield was smashed in and the car was undrivable at that point. After I calm down a bit I thought about it and I realized that the gentleman that assisted me and put it in the lightbulb did not make sure my hood shut correctly. After getting a vehicle home and then try to contact the store to find out what was going on in the gym and that assisted me did not take any ownership of what happened.I am reaching out to you guys because I would like someone to take ownership of the damage to my car and help me get this fixed I’m not asking for extra money I’m not asking for anything out of the ordinary. All I need is my hood replaced And to be reimbursed the cost of my windshield replacement. Can you please have someone contact me as soon as possible so that we can discuss this further and also make sure this gets taken care of. I was a last minute customer and the gentleman who greeted me at the door was very nice and helpful. He found the part I needed on the computer and proceeded to take me straight to where it was on the shelf. Car was overheating and my other car had broken main belt, my phone died and for some reason my cars wasn’t working. They went out of their way to help me. And showed me where it was bad. He looked where I bought the battery and recommend I call. I did and the battery is under warranty!! Free replacement. While driving inter-state through Conroe yesterday, Wednesday 3/17/2021, I experienced a tire tread separation on my car, and discovered the trunk tool kit missing with me.Somehow got to the 3834 W Davis St AutoZone.Jonathan, the Store Manager, provided unbelievable support and help. And got support from his store colleague, whose name I could not capture.Jonathan rolled up his shirt sleeves, and changed the tire pretty much by himself. Both the guys provided driving and other guidance throughout.Were it not for their immense gesture, I would be stranded in an unknown town at that hour of the evening.Thank you Jonathan, and Friend!Thank you AutoZone!

Just horrible. Do not like being talked down to about waste oil. All the Autozones in Conroe are so hard to get rid of waste oil and employees are usually rude. My company has a national account and I shop at Autozone for the rewards program and have for many years This is the only way to have a voice because I do not have time to debate hard-headed rude people. I did get 3 outer and 1 inner wheel bearing the other day.. not sure what kind of truck has a setup like that, but I guess I shouldve looked closer b4 I left. 100X better than Orobbery auto parts down the street!.. UPDATE.. went in today for an oil filter for my bike. Advertised for $9.99, they charged me $18, with zero effort to fix it.. kid behind the counter knows nothing about cars.. may have to start going to advance auto. This place gets a little worse every time I come.

She was very helpful and told me about how the bulb grease helps protect it from getting dirty or damp and installed them for me too!! Other places told me it was the wiring. I would like to start off by saying that I have been a major fan and regular customer of Auto Zone stores across the north side of Houston, TX.This review will be lengthy but only because of the awesome and flawless customer service that this store has provided for me due to a warranty issue that was not properly handled by the manager at the the auto zone on Rayford rd. Long story somewhat short , a few months back I purchased duralast brake rotors. Of course I told the cashier the make model year of my vehicle, well come to find out yesterday, the Rayford road cashier actually sold me the wrong rotors. The original rotors that I bought seemed to fit fine. Well after driving on the new rotors a few months I started to notice bad breaking, squeaks , etc. so I decided to take everything off the vehicle to go find out why these new rotors and new pads were already causing issues. I brought the rotors and pads to the Rayford location, the cashier started the warranty process and then asked his manager for the final approval so I could be on my way. Well the Rayford locations manager decided last second she would not allow the warranty swap bc the rotors I was originally given would not match up part number wise with the part number of the rotor that I actually needed. So we were at a standstill, the manager thought I was trying to scheme her and said I was originally given the correct rotor 3 months ago. But the cashier kept saying to her, that we gave him completely wrong rotors for a whole diff make and model. She just wouldn’t do the swap. After an hour of calmly talking thru this, she finally agreed to call her regional manager to ask if this approval would be ok. She thought she would be penalized, or potentially loss of her job for actually doing the right thing when it was not my fault I was given the wrong rotors. So the regional manager, finally wanted to speak to me, I explained everything in detail, he understood my side and said he will allow her to do it. She was not happy as she believed I was in the wrong and that the computer must be wrong bc she truly believed 3 months ago that the rotors were the correct ones. But they were completely wrong. I spent 2 hours on a Saturday night trying to calmly resolve this issue but common sense was not part of this ladies mindset.Unfortunately these wrong rotors caused all 4 sets of rotors and pads to wear out quickly and it snowballed into more or less destroying front pads and rotors and also the 3 month old back pads were completely toast!The regional manager, Rick, informed me to go to the west Conroe location, and ask for Kyle, the manager at west Conroe.Kyle had all the new correct brake rotors and pads ready for me! Rick even gave me a full set of pads and rotors for the front! I am greatly appreciative of how Rick and Kyle worked together to swiftly fix this simple issue!Unfortunately I was not happy with the handling of the situation the Rayford manager did to me. I was astonished that she would not approve of this problem. I mean they sold me completely wrong brakes, That’s a dangerous aspect, and I’m lucky and grateful that while driving my car on wrong parts especially the brakes I did not encounter any wrecks, hurting other drivers or potentially myself being in a vehicle wreck all due to a store not giving me correct parts. Mistakes happen and I’m sure 3 months ago, the cashier at the original purchase just made a human mistake and accidentally provided me with the wrong parts but the Rayford manager just wouldn’t allow herself to come to that common sense solutionRick went out of his way on a Sunday morning to fix this and then he went ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations and showed true customer service satisfaction!People like Kyle and Rick make this world a better place!! Thanks once again guys! If you live in Conroe or the woodlands, consider making the short drive to the west Conroe Auto zone! All the employees there were absolutely professional and nice!
