I was a patient here from necessity due to job loss and homelessness during the pandemic. The crisis center was prompt and quick to discharge. This is a fine and be expected. I am also not a typical patient here as I have insurance and a very well paying job. I had nowhere else to turn to.My initial case manager called twice a week and was very receptive and a pleasure to work with. All the staff seems super nice. However, when I moved up a level of care I was dropped on my head. My case worker never called and appointments with her were never scheduled. I made this comment to my psychiatrist and a charge nurse. The charge nurse even brought me to her office and told her who I was and I never received a call or an appointment after that quick visit.Due to the length of time between visits, zero support, and a pharmacy who wont transfer prescriptions, because communication has been severed, I decided to quit service. A case manager is the face of the business and the go between the patient and the doctor. They should know who they on their care lists they have spoken to and not. Ill just take my business elsewhere to a place that is capable of tracking such a simple metric. Its too bad because the majority of people in Montgomery who rely on their services are unable too. Sad.

Set my appointment three weeks ago.Confirmed it last week.Showed up two hours early, and signed in.Went home as advised by the receptionist, and came back on time.Sat in the lobby waiting for an hour to be called. An employee asked me if I needed to reschedule.Told me they didn’t have any record of my appointment on file.Told me the next closest appointment is in two weeks.I have three days worth of medication remaining.Called to file a formal complaint at 11:30am, and I have not been called back.Their receptionist little mistake is going to send me into withdrawals, and they are ignoring me.

When you are late for your appointment they make you reschedule but you can wait up to 45 minutes for your appointment. They have their priorities messed up.

I have had nothing but kindness, patience and through care. From helping me get medical, medicine and explaining the process of it all. I see the other reviews and wonder.... hate that people had a bad experience. Maybe this wasn’t the right treatment for those individuals. You are allowed to shop around for proper treatment. It’s not a cookie cutter thing. Best of luck!

I do appreciate having a place to reach out for help when Im unable to have insurance for my mental health. My main issue is they focus your whole plan around a VERY quick diagnosis and use meds as the main solution. Incorporating regular therapy or talks with a psychiatrist is not even an option. Im just unsure why they have only ONE counselor but have no problem handing out meds like candy. Meds can help but without therapy it is only a bandaid for many people who need help getting healing. I also feel uneasy that a psychiatrist diagnosed me after one quick conversation... what if the meds Im taking are for a diagnosis that is totally wrong?? I do suggest going to another place if possible, but if you truly have no option this can at least be some sort of help for you.

When they hear desperation they show up. That alone counts for so much. They take their time, you are not rushed. What people need to understand is , its a two way road. Medicine can only do so much...you have to do some of the work too. You have to let them help you. They will sniff out the drug seekers and when I see the bad reviews I automatically think its someone who thought they were going to a magician. Do the work! Its your life and if you want it back they WILL assist you and give you the proper tools but you have to want it, they, and actually no one can give you your life back without your help. So far, the Dr amazing and loves what hes doing, that speaks in volumes. My therapist...in another life we would have been best friends, shes relatable not just book knowledge, life knowledge. The man that came to save me at home when I first called...I didnt go. But when I called again he still came and I put in THE WORK to show him he didnt bet on the wrong horse...I showed up. These people want to help you, they will come get you, but you have to want it too. And Marie...if she says Ill call you right back in 15 mins, she calls and she makes it happen, whatever your it may be. Thank you guys.

The awe inspiring way this hospital of sorts takes care of my sister is truly no less than amazing. With their help weve been able to get medications, counseling, and doctor appointments all taken care of by Tricounty.

Called on a Friday to make an appointment, they verified that they accept my insurance (Tricare, who also verified the location as approved.) and told me that they do not schedule appointments for new patients. I would need to walk in between 9:30-11:00 Monday-Thursday for my first appointment. I showed up at 9:05 on Tuesday, filled out my paperwork, get called up to the desk and informed that they do not accept Tricare. When I informed the lady that I was told otherwise by both her office and Tricare I was simply told “Well, we don’t.” I was informed that I could receive treatment anyway under emergency triage care but she didn’t know if my insurance would cover it or not and she would find out afterward. I’d rather go wait in line at the VA for six hours than deal with these idiots.

Ive had my case worker switched 4 times in just this year alone. Ive been with them since 2010 and never had the same Case Worker or doctor for more than 2 months at a time. Youd figure for the type of industry, theyd hire professionals that will actually stick around. People who are in tri-county NEED stability and these County far from provides it. They are very careless, emotionless, and just care about the paycheck. They prescribe your pills and send you on your way. I dont want to even begin to explain the emergency hotline issues, lets just say theyd rather let you end your life than take the time out to help you. If you can afford another service, then do yourself the favor any stay far from here. This program was designed to keep you in for the rest of your life....

Dont go to tri county! I am a PPD survivor but when i finally got the courage to ask dor help They did me so dirty and were monsters to me! The SKYPE DOCTOR that saw me on my FIRST VISIT decided she had enough info to diagnose me but also said that she didnt know for sure if it was my personality or not! Like how can you diagnose somone and put them on meds if you arent sure?! She proceeded to tell me I did not have PPD because she had it and it looks the same on every woman... what... is she even serious right now! How could she say something like that! She goes on to say just because i had a baby recently has nothing to do with my change in mood all of a sudden. They diagnosed me as bipolar type one... They gave me depakote. I started to have very strong adverse side effects to which they said, huh well we cant help you, go to lone star clinic in conroe and see what they say. I went i told them how i was feeling, what tri county diagnosed me as, what they prescribed me, and what the prescription was doing to me. The doctor rolled her eyes and said tri county is ALWAYS sending their patients here. She didnt say why but I can only imagine its because of their incompetence! Anyways, ling story short she says i have described post partum depression to a tee and got me started on celexa. I am now in a much better place than i was a short 3 months ago and it only keeps getting better!

Go in to get evaluated and get a paper of recommendations of where i should go for counseling or whatever. They say that their psychiatrist/counseler is in training and for that they refer me to a paper of local psychiatrists/counselers in the area. For someone who comes for help i feel they need someone on hand for the people on hand rather than telling them to either wait or go somewhere else so i dont walk out feeling like it was a wasted trip. Yeah let their new person train but have someone who is already trained ready to see people and when their new person is done training then have the veteran counselor leave. Always have a counselor ready to evaluate, not tell the consumer they arent ready. Pointless trip 😡. Yeah they helped, helped me with a piece of paper to go somewhere else. I walk out feeling worse than i did. I came for help and they turn me to go somewhere else

I could not get to my appointment because my daughter got hung up at work, so they punished me and making me wait a whole two more months to see the dr. My daughter works!! We have told them some times some thing happens at her job so she cant take me up there. If she is late and cant take me then too bad so sad for ME. I call up there & they say sorry but this is the best we can do because you didnt come like you said you would. So wait two more months!! They suck. Very unprofessional. They dont care.
