My husband has been donating for some time now and has always bragged about how great the The Blood Center is. Today was only my second time to donate at this center, but both times have been remarkable. The staff is outstanding! They are courteous, professional, patient, attentive, and made me feel very comfortable. The facility is clean and inviting. We scheduled our appointments online and we’re in and out in no time. With this amazing atmosphere, great snacks, and donating for a great cause, why would you donate anywhere else! THANK YOU LADIES!!!! See you in 6 weeks!

Everyone is really nice. But be prepared to wait. Took an hour and a half to do just whole blood donation...... An hour of that was waiting.

I had a great experience donating blood at this center. Everyone was very nice and joyful. Plus I got a free hoodie for my donation along with sending some encouragement with there Holiday Hugs program.

I love the staff at this location. Ive been donating blood here for over 10 years. The staff are always in good spirits and they keep me entertained with light humor and conversation. They also go all out to make sure youre comfortable from beginning to end.

Ive donated to this place over 10 times in 3 years. They are the best staff Ive ever encountered. They make sure you are comfortable, and have everything you need. They always make the process very easy and least painful. They are one of the reasons why I enjoy donating cause theyre such good people and I always enjoy talking to them.

The staff makes the atmosphere enjoyable. I have not met anyone there that I didnt like. They make you feel welcome.7-15-17 - Today I went to donate, as a walk in at 3:45pm and the web site states they are open until 4:00. It really needs to state the they do not take donations after 3:00. Which is what I was told. No where on the website does it tell you this information. I drove over 20 miles and waisted my time and money to find this out. I understand it is Saturday and everybody wants to go home at 4:00, but dont advertise your open until 4:00 when really you dont take donations after 3:00! Any other business that I am aware of, you take customers until quiting time and then lock the doors. It would have been valuable for me to know that. Very inconsiderate to doners.

Was told my irregular heart beat needed a letter from my doctor per the FDA. Went and got one. 2nd time told it needed to be specific. Order said irrythmia ok to draw blood. Told it needed to needed to be more specific. ? ? ? Gonna try again. Doctor said incompetence was common for this place.

Super nice & competent staff. I have come in both with & w/o appts. Had to wait once--so left & returned. But very efficient most every time. Again, terrific staff & facility!

This was my 1st time to donate blood, so I was very nervous. Staff was very friendly, humorous, informative, and made me feel comfortable. Jessica did my blood draw, and was great to work with.

Update: Went on St. Patricks day and the staff both in front and back were friendly and professional with a fun sense of humor. Im leaving the original review below for comparison purposes as your experience may differ depending upon the day.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Once you were taken back staff was professional. Before I was stuck in a room and ignored for 30 minutes. When i would come out to find out what i was supposed to do i was curtly told to get back in the room and wait.After being taken back staff was friendly.

I have never had a problem here. They do their best to make you laugh and comfortable while you donate.

Always a wonderful experience! They make you feel well cared for and appreciated. I am happy to donate regularly!

The friendliest and hardest working phlebotomists I have ever met. I go the The Woodlands location exclusively now for the on-time and professional service there. I always leave with a smile.

The experience itself is a pleasant one. Its frustrating that you have to answer the same questions every time you come in to donate. You would think with a nation wide blood shortage they would have a way to streamline the process for regular donaters.

Called the main number, they were very helpful, gave me directions and said no need for appointment, just walk in. I came an hour before opening, waited in line, was first person here, and they wouldnt take me until they had helped many other customers. If you need an appointment that should have been stated before I wasted an hour and a half.

Quite busy right now due to extra traffic from hurricane doners. The staff are very nice folks doing the very best they can while quite a bit busier than normal.

My husband and I have just been treated so badly by this group. Made an appointment...took off work and then turned away. They actually turned away an O negative person. Just made excuses is all they did. NEVER AGAIN will we donate to this group!!!!! Just the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with.

Most of my visits to this place have been a good experience. Not today. It was obvious the only concern my attendant had today was getting out of the office on time!
