We have lived here for 2 1/2 years and Kim and Brooke have always been very helpful and nice.. they always listen and take care of anything right when Im needing it. The place is beautiful and quite. The maintenance guys are very friendly and helpful.

Not going into the whole story, just avoid all-together. (P.s the majority of good reviews I’m pretty sure are fake).

I have lived here for about 2.5 years and I love it! Im honestly surprised to read some of these reviews, because I have had no major issues. Ive only requested maintenance one time, it was a minor dishwasher issue that was a 5-minute fix. Brooke especially is wonderful, very helpful and caring!

I’ve been a tenant for almost 4 years now. Brook has taken care of me since day one. I wanted to post a thank you and say what amazing, professional, go above and beyond person she is. #1 in customer service!

Absolutely love it here! I’m a picky person when it comes down to where I reside and making the decision to go with Hilltops was the best choice! I’ve not had one problem here, not one. Brooke and Kim literally treats me like we’ve known one another for years all while keeping up with their professionalism!

Miss Brooke and Miss Kim are a dynamite team and very accommodating. They had me ready to move in very quickly with no problems during the application process. The facility is beautiful for anyone with or without children. Highly recommend this place to call home, thank you ladies

Kim was AMAZING during our tour and extremely friendly. The units are beautiful, and the property is well-maintained. We would have chosen Hilltops as our home, but unfortunately it was a little out of our price point. That was the only thing stopping us. Otherwise, we would have done an application right then and there. They have a dog park (divided for large and small dogs), a dog-washing station, a car cleaning station, a nice gym, and a beautiful pool. If you can afford it, definitely recommend this place!

Edit: thanks for so speedily responding to this review but still not responding to the questions on the community board :)Updates and communication would be nice. Often call the office during business hours and can’t get anyone on the phone. Several of us have inquired on the community message board as to when amenities will be reopened and just not received a response. It’s been days and still no response. Please send out emails/notifications when office hours change and when amenities are available and when not.

Excessive fees galore that’s for sure! Really loud complex too.I paid a $200 non refundable pet deposit, $25 pet rent a month and on move out after 3 years received a $75 pet carpet treatment bill for two carpeted bedrooms in the 977 sq unit.This past year I paid $80 a month in fees alone on top of rent for their small two bedroom, every year the rent went up over our three years there. They do not reinvest into the property as you can tell by the deteriorating landscaping and overgrown debris in lakes, dirty grills and more.Plus during lockdown my 3rd floor neighbor would rinse off his patio multiple times daily with buckets of water. Tons of that water and mud would splash onto my patio on the first floor. I submitted videos and pictures to Kim. Ask the guy to stop , he didn’t, Over two months I would call and email the office and all I got was “it’s been addressed”. Not sorry you’re dealing with this, more of a why are you complaining attitude from Kim. Finally I called the corporate office and immediately it stopped. But I was admonished by Kim for “going over her head” her words exactly in an email she sent me.So if you like to pay ALOT of fees above rent especially if you own a pet, love a manager that you need to call or email more than once to find out things, and when you have issues feel to be made like you shouldn’t complain move in.*** I also didn’t realize how loud the complex is with the automatic doors slamming and the walls are really thin. 3rd complex in Conroe I’ve lived in over the past 12 years and definitely not the best for what I paid in rent. I’m fine paying higher rent and fees, but I expect a company to provide what they promise a luxury living experience and care about their residents.

I just moved here it’s nice and cleaned. OMG ! I love it.Miss Kim is really helpful as a manager she is patient and very professional.

Brooke the assistant manager is the ONLY person working here who gives a hoot about residents. Honest and caring, helps people out in times of need.I had mold infesting my apartment unit 628 last year. Property manager Kim blamed it on ME for using my air conditioning at 70. It’s TEXAS, lady. Apartments were poorly built - air intake in the BATHROOM. Who does this? Cheap contractors. Many leaks in buildings and chronic issues from such - these apartments are less than 3 years old! Air conditioning intake is in bathrooms - the Wettest place in a home! Mold growing out of all my vents and throughout. Causing health issues for us. I have dozens of photos!! Kim hired an unlicensed (to treat mold) carpet cleaning company to clean my vents - they blew them out and spray painted over mold on rotted sheetrock. I have photos of that too. Calls to corporate allowed me to switch units BUT I HAD TO MOVE MYSELF from THEIR MOLD INFESTED UNIT with no help. Also had massive leak above my garage in the unit above, informed Kim for over a week and nothing was done. I have dated photos and evidence of growing leak and mold. Couldn’t even park my car in garage for fear of ceiling falling! They never even alerted the tenant in unit above my garage so I did. They finally tore the ceiling out and repaired the leak after 10 days!!!!! This was June and July 2019.THIS WEEK in 2020 — I’ve been trying to contact the regional manager for days regarding our air conditioner going out earlier this week (plus multiple other units). She called me super early on Thursday and left me a voicemail while I was sleeping - since I returned her call, she has ignored my calls since and voicemails in last 3 days.One of maintenance staff was fired recently & another quit over a month ago & the property manager still has not replaced even the one who’s been gone. We have two inexperienced “temp” maintenance people instead. Poor assistant manager called property manager (who was ten minutes away at home on staycation) many times to get help & authorization for ac repair and her calls were ignored. Fortunately after a day without ac, it was fixed by one of the temps. It was 95 in my house! It wasn’t until 3am the next day that my home was 70 degrees again.Also the pool was filled with algae this entire week & prior - so much so that it stinks - and had clearly not been treated in some time! It’s summer! People use the pool!!! Gross!!!

I went to view the 2 bedroom apartment. What a beautiful community. The staff was super friendly. I love the large pool area and the game room. The location is perfect as well since I work right off of 45.

Such a professional, caring, and helpful team at Hilltops Apartment community. I happened to stumble across this community online and had to visit the leasing office to check out the beautiful community it person... my, my, my.. What a well kept community. Everyone greeted me when I walked in, offered me a cold drink, and even offered my pet a doggie treat. Now thats what I call pet friendly!!! I got a chance to meet the manager, Kim---she was so pleasant.

I have rented from a lot of properties over the last two decades and i must say my experience with Hilltops Apartments has been the absolute best multi- family living situation a person could ask for. Manager Kim, her assistant Brooke and the entire staff all ways greet you with a smile and make you feel like you are really at home. Being a single working father sometimes its not always easy to be there when the bus arrives but i have no fear because they treat the kids of Hilltops like their own. If anyone in the area is looking for fine apartment living with more bang for your buck....this is your place!Keep up the great work!Mr. 722

These apartments are amazing! I highly recommend them. The managers are very helpful to accommodate your needs and maintenance is very quick. My son loves going to the pool. Its a very quiet complex and we couldnt ask for anything better to call home!

The new management replaced the locks with electrical locks. Where you have to have a card to lock and unlock your front door. I don’t like it I wish they would leave things alone. I don’t mind upgrading units renovating nside the actually apartment. Leave the outside alone if I wouldn’t got off work early I would have been locked out my apartment. I actually think the electrical locks are dangerous you can easily forget to lock your door !!!

My family and I moved into this apartment complex a few weeks ago and we love it! Austin who works in the club house is extremely helpful and friendly, as well as the managers who also work here. Gabriel the lead maintenance guy introduced himself and asked if there was anything we needed within the first hour of moving in. The complex is beautiful, from the apartment itself, to the pool, workout room, scenic lakes, and the architecture within the club house. When we first moved in we were without a washer and dryer and there is a convenient wash and dryer room on the property. Do not believe the negative comments posted. My family and I have had no issues whatsoever. Hurry and move in before it fills up!

My family and I are very happy with these apartment homes. We love the fact that we could choose to be on the first floor, with hardwood flooring. This apartment complex is brand new so that probably wont be the case when it fills up, but it was a nice perk. We love the upgrades that are in the apartment such as the granite countertops, soaker tub, updated lighting, and huge closet space. It makes the whole place so comfortable! Also, the layout is fantastic and makes the place feel huge. The next thing we love is the location. We are literally minutes away from everything and a short drive to The Woodlands which is awesome!Ive seen a lot of people complaining about the manager but I personally have not had any run ins with her. When we came to sign, Austin was very friendly and ready to help us. The residents we have met seem nice as well. All of the amenities inside and outside of the apartment make this place feel like home!

I am very impressed with not only the gorgeous property, but the professionalism of the employees. They really go out of their way to make the moving experience as smooth as possible.

The gates at this apartment complex are slower than molasses. Not only that, on the exit your vechile bumper has to be within a half of inch for the gate to open. You are going to be spending alot of time at the gate entering and leaving. Im a delivery driver and HATE delivering here because of the slow gates. Do yourself a favor and move to another complex with better gates than this one star place.

Yes its true...All the recent reviews are bogus. They are employees and/or paid reviewers. Its so obvious, they either only review other American Landmark companies or they did all their reviews on the same day. Not sure why they feel the need to do that, cause they already had good reviews. I just hate a dishonest person and/or company. If they will lie about that, they will lie about anything in my opinion. Sorry gonna have to pass !

Its a real nice complex. Ive been there quite few times because I work in the area. The staff is awesome.

Moved here in September and Ive absolutely loved living here so far. Im in love with the floor plan layout. Everything is so open and spacious. I love the countertops and all the space I have in the kitchen. I also love, love, love the giant soaking tub in my bathroom. The staff is absolutely phenomenal. Any issues I have get solved very quickly. Ive only had 2 issues so far with a defective dishwasher and the blinds that lead to the patio. They were quick to replace the faulty dishwasher. I also love the fact that I can pay my rent online with no fee!! That makes my life so much easier as my work hours are typically the entire duration in which the office is open. We also have Valet trash service which is another wonderful amenity. Ive lived in a few places around Conroe and this is by far the absolute best for the square footage you get. Im also so very grateful for the original leasing agent helping me get approved to move in here. I love sitting on my spacious patio at night looking at the stars. Its so peaceful out here. We also have a community page where we can chat with one another which I also think is pretty efficient. There are also various events and celebrations the lovely office staff does for us. Things like offering free Christmas gift wrapping, Halloween festivities, Easter egg hunts for the kids, and for valentines day we got roses, cookies, and a box of assorted chocolates. Ive never lived in a complex that does so much for their residents. I really feel spoiled and I love it!

In the short amount of time, it is sad to say that I see these apartments are going downhill. The dog park in the back corner is always filled with trash including broken glass. There is a vehicle that has all the windows broken out, expired tags and abandon for almost a month. Lights are out in the parking light and buildings in the back. Not safe at all for anyone having to come home at dark. Issue with gates all the time. Love the apartment itself just wish everyone would do there part in keeping it safe and clean.

I lived here for eleven months but I did pay my 12th month rent before we moved. These apartments have no insulation in walls you here everything I lived on the 3rd floor and my coach would like vibrate when they slam the garage door. My son lived on the side beside stairs he said you could here everyone talk and it would shake his wall as they went up stairs. These apartments or money hungry we were told we would owe after we moved out water and trash but we moved out 6 weeks early and then two months later after we moved out $200.00 for lights and carpet cleaning but the light bill was in my sons named and got transferred and he even got his deposit back but the apartments said you r not allowed to turn your lights off until they transfer lights back on total rip off. We paid a cleaning company $180.00 to clean apartments due to my surgery this apartments is overwhelming they have notes on door weekly needing to come in apartment to check something out r fix something no privacy here. I would not recommend these apartments unless you like noise for as much as you pay in rent it really sucks here oh yea gates are always broke. Lmao most of the 5 star review are employees

I was just reading the review that Wattage wrote. Wow, just wow. I went through the most recent reviews and he/she is correct. All these folks work for a certain management company(just click on each one and you will see). How are we, as renters to know what is the truth anymore. I will avoid them at all cost. You must be pretty desperate to have FAKE reviews. NOW THEY REMOVED WATTAGES REVIEW-HAHAHA

HillTops Apartments are a very nice quiet community, the staff Brandi, Brooke, and Austin are extremely polite, they always welcome you with a smile they go over and beyond to help you with your needs. The complex itself is very clean and well maintained.

If I could leave less than one star I would. Went in on a Sunday and there was only one man working and he was with a blonde girl. This was obviously a friend because she hung around the whole time, and was not dressed accordingly to work there, this completely unprofessional. There is no need for friends to hang around a place of work. She also had an extremely unappealing look on her face when it became time for myself to be helped, as if it was a problem for the young man to help me.

Absolutely the rudest and most unprofessional manager (Brandy) that I have ever met!!! Condescending and disrespectful tone towards the residents is unacceptable and I hate that I signed my lease here but I will be moving as soon as it is up!!Potential residents please keep looking!
