Second time coming to pick berries and it was great. I recommend to go in the evening when it’s not too hot! Lots of yummy berries for everyone! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! We were able to hear about the history of the farm and it was delightful! I highly recommend this location!

It was our first time visiting and we were not disappointed. The berries were plump, sweet and abundant. I liked that they encouraged us to try the berries as we pick to ensure they were sweet. I also appreciated the price per pound. Driving up it seems weird pulling into what appears to be a rock quarry, but if you keep going youll see the entrance to the farm. The owners are super nice and it makes me happy to support local. Bring bug spray if you go in the evening.

SO MANY BERRIES! I visited yesterday evening with a friend and we picked 39 pounds in less than two hours. It was such a fun experience and the berries are delicious. Andy, who is now running the farm, personally found us a good spot in the fields and even stayed to chat and helped us pick for a bit. Wonderful berries, wonderful people!

Its got blueberries! The crop is amazing this year! What more do you want?! [Seriously though, what more do you want? Prices are fair, the walks to the patches are easy. I dont have a clear idea what a three or four star review would be in this case. Wanted berries, expectations were plesently met. As good as it gets, really.]

Lovely farm bursting with sweet blueberries. Very reasonably priced. We took our 2.5 yr old and stayed for an hour. We went late morning on a Sunday and it wasnt too busy. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They have picnic tables too and a little booth selling snow cones. Would definitely recommend as a nice activity for all the family.

A little out of the way, but a fun experience. The staff will give you a bucket to collect the blueberries, and direct you to the best spot. There were plenty of berries, and I was able to collect 12 pounds in 2 hours by myself. You can only pay in cash or check, so make sure you have enough money before you go out there.

Fun, easy, delicious, friendly, worth going. It gets hot so go early, go late or leave the kiddos behind if you go during mid day. $3 / lb And the season starts at the end of May and goes to early July. There are a variety of blueberries, some are sweeter than others. Plenty of room for everyone and so many blueberries. Loved it!>> Update two years later its $3.50 lb now and still just as fun!

Theres tons of blueberries BUT theyre very low quality. They dont have the deep purple hue, almost no juice and the texture is terrible compared to organic. Theres little green bugs inside most the blueberry connection points and just totally disappointed. We visited the orange flag and white flag fields. Weve been to Frobergs Farms in Alvin and they actually have workers tending the field and caring for the fruit. Moorheads Blueberry Farm was very unkempt, rough and disappointing.

This place is great, berries are $3/pound and all you can eat while you pick. If you have a truck come in that because you pass through a quarry on a sand/gravel road to get there. Im sure when its freshly rained the entrance road might be a bit tricky but the drive is beyond worth it.

Moorhead’s Blueberry farm is really good place to go with family or friends. I pay $2.5/Lbs for our blueberries that we pick ourselves. No entrance fees or others fees, but they accept only cash! There are a lot of parking lot and staffs are very nice. The farm is very large, you cannot see people in my picture because every people pick blueberries under their tree. We had fun and we will go there again.Note* Before you go , you need to check from the farm facebook that what days they will open. Season period is only 6-8 weeks !

Moorheads is a wonderful place! There is a tremendous amount of blueberry bushes just bursting with wonderful ripe berries. We filled a whole bucket in about an hour. The staff is friendly and helpful and they also sell real honey made from the bees that pollinate the berry bushes. Moorheads is a real treasure and we are lucky to have them. Disappointed at how many guests did NOT bring masks, but social distancing is a standard activity here anyway. Its customary to not pick in an area when someone is already there. That puts an automatic 6+ feet between everyone. The office has marked off 6 distances for the checkout line plus you only enter the farm from one direction & exit by another. Nicely handled by the staff.

This is 1st time we been here and will come again for sure. Some tips:Best time to visit this place either early in the morning or later in the evening, basically skip the hottest part of the day, there is not much cover under the blueberry trees. No entrance fee, no fee for the basket, and you can eat blueberries as much as you want :)Only need to pay for the berries you bring in to the weighing area. $2.50 per pound, Cash, no credit or debit cards. Some of the berries were really sweet, anyway you can always taste it first and then pick.Whatever time of the day you go, be prepared, wear a cap, bring a water bottle, so you can take time and pick just the right ones.Happy picking yall...
