They went above and beyond for me, the owner help me out with a head unit issue where I got a JVC deck in 2011 and they didn’t have a firmware update for my car available on their site and so he cut me an excellent deal and replaced my head unit now I can drive from CA to the east coast with music and not in silence. No kidding entertainment makes long distance travel a lot easier so super thankful to them for having a heart and helping me out!

Got a aftermarket stereo, hooked it up, put it together and it wouldn’t play through my speakers... I took it part, looked all over google and couldn’t find anything that said how to fix it. Called these guys up and the guy behind the front desk came out took one look, hooked up the orange wire to the power (red) wire and BOOM. fixed it. Laughed when I asked how much I owed him.Amazing workers, all sweet and friendly. 10/10 will be coming back when I get my blown speakers replaced.

Went there to get car stereo put in yesterday and everything was great!!! Got up this morning and started driving when all the wires in car dashboard began falling out!!!! So I go back to GM Electronics and they told me that they didn’t have anything to do with car stereo wires plus interior lightbulb is hanging down also!!! I’m shocked that they just refused to fix my stereo properly!!!! Wasted $200 and still don’t have sounds from stereo at all PERIOD!!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY JUST DON’T CARE SO BE VERY AWARE OF GM ELECTRONICS IN CONCORD CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!

Lets see if youre going to answer this one Mr. Bashir. I spent $1,500.00 to upgrade my sound system and since you said that your installation has a life time warranty. I went back to your place twice to have a few issues resolved you were on top of your roof and didnt even come down to listen to what I had to say you said a few bad words( I am not going to mention them here)and Im still not satisfied. Just like a few people that reviewed your services i feel like i got ripped off. Sorry but i am going to take you to court maybe Ill get my money back if justice serves right.

Heres my experience with gm electronics: went in to inquire prices on window tint and an alarm for my new baby....my car! Well,tint prices seemed good but alarm was more important. Was quoted an average price for installation of a newer brand of alarm that I was told was comparable to what I wanted,a directed electronics brand product. I agreed due to the fact that they could install it that day and in fact was promised it would take not long at all. There was one car being finished then I was next. This was at around 10am. I gave my keys and went to lunch. Upon return I observed my car hadnt even been started yet. Three hours had passed already. After seeing alot of standing around and no real work being done I told them forget it I had to work tomorrow and couldnt wait. Oh no,they insisted.... it would be quick. This after already charging me $30 more than what they just quoted as the price. I said ok I guess when he wouldnt give me my keys I asked for back ,and sat on the bench out front. Let me just say I wasnt out of there until 7 pm and was NOT HAPPY with the whole ordeal!!! Im not satisfied with any of it. There is no starter disable hooked up like they said ,the valet button is dangling from its wires hanging out of a seam in the dash right in front of the drivers seat,and theres Marks left all over where they pried apart stuff to install it. All for 30 more than I was told at first. I called but if they think Im going to go thru that again to have them fix what shouldnt be the way they already installed it,theyre crazy. I guess I was to go there the first time. Or maybe I just trusted the wrong shop

These guys put an alarm in my van. When I lost the remote, I dropped by to ask where the valet button was on my alarm so I could reset it for the new remote. The guy just walked out to my van, located the valet button and proceeded to program the whole thing in a couple of minutes, free of charge. This would’ve taken me some time to do. I was very thankful and relieved. I highly recommend this shop for any auto accessories or needs.

I had horrible service and experience i this placeI took my Honda 2021 to tint my windows and they damage my vehicle ,i been trying to talk whit the owner and never never call me back such a bad service they told me my car be ready in two hours from 12:00 to 2:00 and never call me until i call them at 4:00 to see if my car was readyWhen i check my car has a big scratch and they only make excuses to get my car fixed my insurance try to talk whit the owner and him never got back to them such bad experienceI just going to take them to court to make this people responsible for damage my new car

I just had the absolute worst experience there this is the last place you should go I dropped of my car to get a touch screen installed I pick it up and they didn’t test it when I turn it on you can’t hear anything I took it in with all my speakers working when I pick it up you can’t hear anything they are incompetent and don’t know what they are doing very over priced 300$ to put una touch screen.

I feel ripped offCalled them and the owner quoted me 599 plus tax for 2 10” subs, amp, wiring and install. He said it’s a great system and will be 1500 watts RMS.I went and had it installed and everything was great.After noticing the amp was only 600 watts and finding out the subs were only 500 watts total, I went back because this was not a 1500watt setup.The owner offered me store credit as a refund, and would make no exception to return my money.Waste of time and money, extremely upset and I feel ripped off. Never taking any of my cars here again

I walked into GM Electronics today and ask them for pricing for shallow subwoofers for my truck and the girl that was there on the counter she was very helpful very friendly she knew what she was talking about she didnt just want to sell me stuff so I could get out the door she took her time and showed me also door speakers amplifiers and everything for setup for my truck I am very pleased with their customer service I would recommend for anyone to go there they will sell you the product that you need not what you dont and wont try to push something that you dont need and you dont want all and best quality

Ive had at least 10 alarms over the years put in with these guys & they have always worked out great & the last setup was a deal for 2 of my friends & myself, we all have Ford F350s & F250s & they made us a package deal for all 3 installs & Viper prices. Ive always had great service & a quick turnaround on getting my vehicle in & out. We also had 3 of our cars done with stereos & speakers & some bump & never had any problems either. Kinda shady as far as price. Would not honor quote given/ written on business card. Misquoted final price also because I only had 5 windows tinted and tried to charge for 7. Told me prices went up after Jan but quote was only 2 weeks prior in February then said well prices went up. Charged $20 more than what was on quote then was “nice enough “ to lower it by $5. Have to go back to get bubbles taken out. Hope this is not an ongoing issue.

I went in to G.M. Electronics in concord hearing good things from my friend about their pricing and work. They dont charge for labor, they just charge parts. This place is getting 1 star because they did a terrible job on my sound system. They didnt know anything about their products and they used the phrase I think a lot while answering the questions I had on their products. Every time I would ask a question they made me feel like I was inconviencing them and the boss there wasnt very friendly. The service was bad, the products put in my car were low quality and incorrectly installed as described by an actual audio place. Overall bad experience. Ghetto. Youd get better service in Oakland or Pittsburgh than here. Dont waste your time or money. I spent over 600$ and all that I got was headaches from the whole experience. They take forever and when I wanted to upgrade my amp they installed a used one and charged me another 100$. I got screwed. A lot of other reviews on here are fake. Pay the extra money and get the quality sound you want elsewhere.

My experience was awful. At first I called to get a price quote for installing a double din car stereo into my Xterra. They guy seemed like he couldnt be bothered and before I could ask him a second question he hung up the phone. I sent my wife in to have the stereo installed anyway because a friend recommended the place. My wife went in at 10am and was told 1 1/2 to 2hrs to install a deck and a rear view camera. The installation price was high in my opinion but we went ahead with the installation. Almost 4 hrs later the deck was finally put in. When my wife asked why it took twice as long as quoted to install they said they were busy. She also noticed the car sitting there with wires hanging out and no one working on it for at least a half hour. It was only after she went over and asked them what was going on did they start working on it again. Im 99.9% sure the guy who was working on it decided to go to lunch and just left the car and didnt say anything to anyone. My wife and son just sat around this place for about the same amount of time it takes to drive to Southern California. Someone did apologize, but the guy who installed the deck seemed like he could care less. Customer service is beyond unacceptable. Sucks for them because I was going to return with 2 more amp installations and eight speakers between two more cars. Now Im going somewhere else.

Worst customer service I have ever had been here 4 times for the same problem the window tinting sucks bubbles everywhere on all the windows and the cuts they make are horrible. I keep on wasting my only day off to try to get my window tinting fixed and it keeps bubbling up. It always takes my whole day away bringing my truck in to get the tinting fixed I do not recommend this place at all

If you want to find somewhere that will give you a fair and lower price compared to other shops, then this is the place. But if you want quality work and not have to wait 8 hours for the work to be done then this isnt the place for you. I came at 9am,so an hour before they opened, they told me it would be completed in 4 hours even though I was the first one there. I show up to the shop at 3:30 and I go to the back to look for my car just to find it sitting there with all my wires out, and Noone working on it. Then an employee who had been on a break comes up and says Im not allowed to be back there. Oh why? So I dont see that you arent doing your job. Horrible customer service

I have to agree: DO NOT COME HERE FOR STEREOS.GM has terrible service, inconsistent guidelines, and unfair policies.Story:Last July, I got a deck installed at GM. By the time November rolled around, I had to go back for a repair.So I got it replaced problem solved right? WRONG.Since then, I have been through 3 replacements stereos. They would not give me the stereo I originally bought, and they actually gave me a cheaper one with lower quality. I asked them to order it, but they would not.They charged me $30 for a replacement one time, because the problem was after 30 days, but they did not do this the other times. I dont understand their policy for this, and it is completely inconsistent as they have never mentioned the fee before. So I just paid the fee and got a replacement.Still, problem not solved.Within 3 weeks, there were more issues. I went back to try and get it fixed because it was playing music, but not playing DVDs. They told me there would be a one hour wait and they would call me. An hour and a half had passed so I went in and asked them about my car. They had already checked it out and did not call me, leaving me waiting. Keep in mind that this is not the first time that they have had a longer wait time than usual and failed to call me. After that, I tried to get my keys from them. They lost my keys for about 10 minutes, while they turned out to be in the managers pocket the whole time. After I obtained my keys, I asked if I can get the same stereo, and the owner told me that I could not and that the replacement stereo was just out of their courtesy. How is it out of courtesy if its the warranty? The owner kept giving me an attitude and was being extremely rude to me. In addition, I left GM only to find that my stereo was completely disconnected and wont even turn on.The stereo has had a different issue every time and I am very frustrated that they have given me cheaper quality for what I had bought.On top of that, have wasted $20 dollars in toll going back and fourth across the bridge, probably $60 in gas, hundreds of dollars on a good stereo just to get a shitty one, and hours of my time, just to be treated unfairly.Dont waste your time with GM.

I read and took advice from all of the reviews that are on here about gm, and I went in there to buy a stereo, 2 tweeters, 2 new door speakers, and I had them install my amp and subwoofer. They originally quoted me 490 for the whole deal, but I went in there with 400 in cash, haggled with owner, and ended up getting everything done, and done right. After setting up the equalizer, everything is great. No complaints, they did everything the way they said they were going to and the guy who did the install put my side mirror control piece back up through the side panel. The only thing that I can see makes people sketched out about is the people who hang around there and the way the place looks on the outside. I sat on the benches outside and watched for 2 1/2 hours, and I took all the stuff out of my car just because I didnt trust the other guys chatting with the guy installing my stuff. I advise to do the same.

GM Electronics took really good care of me. I heard about them through a freind of a friend. I was hesitant to drive 20 miles to see what they had to offer. I made a call before i went to the spot. JB answered the phone and i told him my situation and what i was looking to do. I told him ive been looking to get 4 new tires and speakers hooked up? The challenge i been facing with these other location is that the price for what im trying to get done is ridiculous. I called 4 locations drove to 3 others and for the same request the prices were not the same!! It was $1100 another location said $1025, 1400, etc i was quoted $ 900 just to get new tires without labor charges which i was quoted additional $350. So JB said come in and see what we can do. I arrived that evening and talked in depth with him about my request. I put down $$ and returned the next day. I dropped my vehicle off and was shuttled back to the job. 6:25pm i get a call trucks ready for pick up so he sent the same shuttle to pick me up. The driver was so cool and personal i offered to give him a tip for the service he provided me. He refused and said its all good.. I attempted a 2nd time and he just laughed and continued dropping knowledge about life situations. I was really feeling him because he was not trying to put on a show, he was being a real dude keeping it 100%. I paid the remainder of the bill, walked out to my car and turned the stereo up. Such an horrible experience I took my Lexus car for a dash camera installation to this shop and park assist sensor sign piped up on dash board the manager tricked me two weeks that were going to fix it and then at the end the rudest and misbehavior chinese look like old owner start fighting , that Im not responsible for this and that was his entire customer service logic , I havent experienced such a misbehavior guy in my entire life. 0* for this rude and unprofessional shop. if you want to be cheated then please experince it once and then youll find out their horrible experience but it will be too late.

SHAMEFUL. They stop working on cars to watch women at the car wash next to their establishment. Unfortunately the police can’t do a thing and the business owner thinks he can blame it on the customers when clearly it’s not the customer doing the work on the car and stopping. G.M. Electronics helped me pull off thee greatest christmas gift for my girlfriend. Her car had many technical problems and they were able to fix all of them! On top of that they are extremely knowledgable! The owner knew exactly what was the right speakers, stereo system, and bass to put into the car. I took his advice on everything, and the car couldnt sound better.Also, I was surprised to see how fast they finished my car. I thought that the magnitude of my project would have at-least taken two days, but they were able to finish it right when I needed it. On top of that, costumer service is amazing. When I went to pick the car up, I noticed a few problems with my vehicle and I asked the employee, Victor, if he could help fix them. He said, No problem, I have this covered. And he really did, he fixed every single problem with my car and extremely fast. What really got me though, was that the business was just about to close, and he stayed and helped me when he could have easily said no. We brought our 24 RV here this past week to have the windows tinted - all 19 of them! They had tint on them but it was beginning to peel up & it had turned purple, so it was quite a job just to get off the old tint & glue. I had called around for estimates & GM quoted me the best estimated price over the phone. At first I thought the price was a bit high, but come to find out it was the best price out there, and then Basher offered to knock some off of that, so we feel the price was very fair. The guy who does the actual tinting - Victor - is the sweetest guy in the world, & also excellent at what he does. We thought we wanted a fairly light tint, but he showed us the differences with what a limo tint would look like as opposed to the lighter tint we thought we wanted.....& boy were we glad he knew his stuff cause it came out looking great! Who would believe that with 19 windows to do - & some practically laying on your back to get to - that every one of them would come out perfect? But they absolutely did, & we were extremely pleased. Both of our sons have come here for tinting on their classic cars - like a 1996 Impala - & one of them is so anal about his baby that I knew when he chose this place to put his car in their hands, it had to be the best...& he was right.One other plus here - when I called around, the other difference was that G.M. was the only one to tell us that it could be done immediately - like the next day. The other 2 tinting places in Concord (I dont feel I need to mention names & bash them) - that I called balked about the job when they found out it was an RV (with 19 windows)....said things like 2-3 weeks to do it...if we were lucky. So GM was the only one that didnt make us feel like we were a pain in the ass job to do. Weve been self-employed folks for 40 years, and Victor & Basher treated us like I treat my own customers, - with respect & great service. Victor told us that a few of the windows took him 3 times to do it right, but he got to the very edges of each window perfectly, so his conscientiousness was much appreciated.Wed highly recommend them for any job they can do, especially since service - & getting the job done right - is their #1 priority apparently. And Basher, if you read this, Victor deserves a raise! Youd best hang on to him & know youve got a gem in him!Thanks again guys!

Let me start off by saying whats up to basheer and Mohammed jerry and dan. All of them have always gave me great service and made me a priority because i dont waste there time i waste my money. Any business owner appreciates loyalty and understanding. Ive had 25 cars done here all with new door speakers amps subwoofers anywhere from 2 to 8 woofers at a time depending on my car. I ask what they would use to really shake things up and he shows me the no bullshit speaker and builds a custom box every time. Always honered there warranty always like that i dont mind customizing my car to make it more unique of an install such as porting the car with left over oval ports from broken boxes! It alows air to come in with out putting down the back seat and cutting out rear armrest backing in the trunk. Ive been on many of there advertisements with my boats because the owners and i grew up hustling together and i spend my money without question with this family who tought me how to get it from a young age. When i bring people they say how did you get it done for so cheap and my response to that is once they take you seriously and tell them what you want and what you have they will make it happen. Let them guide you because jerry and basheer know what the hell they are doing. Word is bond! They stay true to loyal customers just as if they known you your whole life. So all that 8 hour waiting time is because of if you leave all the work to them they take breaks that you take at work your damnself.
