I have been going to Dogo Krav Maga for about two years. It has changed my life, more than words can express. I am able to get the best workout, mentally, and physically, for an hour of Krav Maga or Kickboxing. This all comes from the amazing, wonderful, and terrific instructor, Mr. Desperatti. He treats me like I am one of his family members, and it’s not only me, it’s everyone in the class. I am so honored to be part of the family and hope that you join the family as well. The classes each week provide something new each week, and are incredibly engaging and planned very thoughtfully. Everyone attending the class has an amazing attitude and they make you want to be there as well. I cannot recommend this highly enough and if I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. Look no further for a life changing experience, with some of the best people around.

This place is wonderful! Gustavo is a great teacher, focussed on his students and their personal growth. Krav Maga impacts every aspects of your life and you cant find a better coach to guide you! The workout is intense and challenging, in a good way. You will gain both muscles and confidence. I love Gustavo and this place, its like a second home.

Intense workout built in self defense. Both my son and I love it. Monthly fee covers kick boxing and Krav maga. Try them both and see which one is for you.

I emailed the owner to see if the Krav Maga 101 class was a drop in class. He email be back saying yes. My friend and I wanted to try it and see what it was. We both live further away and planned on meeting there because it was have way between us. I arrived first and filled out the wavier. My friend arrived a few minutes later. When she arrived he told her that we both live so far away and that it wasn’t going to work. He stated that he does a free class for only those who are looking to sign a 6 month contract with him otherwise it was a waste of his time. He could have informed me in his original email to me that he only is interested in doing a class if we want to sign a contract for 6 months. We wouldn’t have wasted his time or his. He stated that we needed to find somewhere closer to us. A poor way to run a business.

Thoroughly impressed! From inquiry to today (8 months) Gustavo has been an absolute blessing to work with. He quickly responded to my email, an email looking for not only a way to get in shape, but also from a mom wanting to be able to protect her family and learn a craft to do so. Gustavo was honest, caring and clear when explaining to me the principles of Krav Maga and how his classes work, and from the first moment I could tell how passionate about it he was. Not only passionate about teaching this life skil, but about making sure it was the best fit for me and that I commit to getting the most of it. He’s the first to say this isn’t a gym, you come to him when you want to get in shape yes, but more importantly when you want to learn how to protect yourself and others. I’ve learned so much in the time I’ve been training with Gustavo, the confidence I now have has been life changing. If you want a great work out, AND to learn an amazingly beneficial self defense skill, Gustavo and Dogo Krav Maga is where it’s at!

I have been coming to Dogo Krav Maga for two years now and I enjoy the challenge Gustavo brings to us with every class. As I look back I can see the progression Ive made with Gustavos training. Im more flexible (when I started I was stiff as a board). Also, my coordination, strength and footwork have improved. Im by no means an expert and I have much to learn, but if one has the willingness to learn, train and grow one can achieve almost anything. Many people start Krav Maga with different skills and training such as boxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu or NONE, like myself two years ago. Krav Maga can be intimidating at first and physically challenging, but Gustavo keeps an atmosphere of camaraderie and safety, yet a sense of seriousness and discipline. Krav Maga is a valuable and potentially life saving self defense skill. So, come and join us at Dogo Krav Maga and try Gustavos classes for yourself.

I love training under Gustavo. The folks training along with me are pretty friendly and helpful.I have trained in oriental martial arts in youth but I find krav maga pretty practical. No one walks on the street with nunchucks, staffs, sai, swords or other medieval weapons in 21st century.People use guns and knives on bay area streets.I started learning how to bring down attackers carrying knives and guns from day 1 at Dogo Krav Maga which is great!!
