Carolina Tree Care was a huge help to us and a few of our neighbors after a storm raged through our neighborhood in May. The storm caused large trees to split which led to major limbs falling on our and our neighbors homes. Our neighbor reached out to them first after they were recommended by his insurance company, and their rep was onsite later that day. Carolina Tree Care assisted two of our neighbors with getting large limbs off of their houses, and worked with us and a few others to remove trees that had been damaged during the storm and needed to be taken down. They were very responsive to our requests for help, where as some of the other tree service groups that we reached out to either couldnt handle the size of our trees or were unable to even consult with us for a price for weeks. We all really appreciate Carolina Tree Cares assistance and level of service during our time of need. Thanks to Chase for his help in quoting and scheduling the work, and to the entire team that was onsite to perform the work.

I contacted this company from the internet for my mother based upon the reviews. Their estimate was 1 of 5 different businesses (some recommended by friends) I contacted. Not only were they the best value but were very professional throughout the entire process. No trace of them left behind except for the small amount of sawdust where the tree once stood. Highly recommend.

Carolina Tree Service did a great job removing 9 or 10 large trees to include some in very hard areas to work in. They did a great job removing the trees, cutting many of them up for firewood, and cleaning up after they were done. In fact, they even blew tree debris off of my roof.

They clearly knew what they were doing and had the equipment and desire to do an excellent job. They removed a tree that was partially over the neighbors property but were able to remove everything without disturbing anything on the neighbors yard. Extra care was taken with running heavy equipment on the lawn and the entire project was done very professionally and efficiently. They may not be the least expensive option, but I would recommend them.

I had 1 tree pruned and limbs removed from 3 others. All of these trees are 18 or more across the base. I asked for any wood that could be splt to be left on property. These guys did a fantastic job! I used Carolina Tree Care to remove a dead tree that was close to my house and remove dead limbs from another tree hanging over my roof. Chase made himself available almost immediately after my initial inquiry. The team of guys who did the work were fantastic. These folks came out on a complimentary inspection of the trees at my property. Clearly knowledgeable and offering suggestions, we decided to go with a fertilizer treatment. Exceptional service included not just the trees but essentially all the shrubs and flowers. Clearly want them back on a regular basis!

Carolina Tree Care removed 2 trees and the stumps at our home. Chase was very responsive in getting me a fair quote and working me into the work schedule based our schedule. One of the trees was slightly hanging over our home and half dead. The guys got it down with no problem. The guys worked quickly and safely, and cleaned up when the work was done. Had one huge tree taken down in my back yard. It was super tall and Carolina Tree Care brought in a large bucket truck and topped the tree with ease. They took down the rest of the tree and even sawed them up for fire wood splitting. They used safety equipment like cones and harnesses to prevent any accidents. A+ job

I had a limb crack and fall on July 29 barely missing my front porch. I got online and found CTC. I filled out a service request and within hours had a response. On Tuesday a representative came out and looked at the situation and advised they would get back out as soon as possible. Hired Carolina Tree Care to prune a very large black walnut and pecan tree in our backyard. Even though this was a relatively small job, they were very attentive and informative when meeting to assess an estimate. I wasnt able to be home on the day of the trimming, but I arrived to beautifully pruned trees and a tidy yard. I highly recommend this expert company.

Then they sent me this link to review the work but they never came out.Update:. Chase from Carolina Tree Care contacted me right after I wrote this review. Carolina Tree Care did a great job removing a very tall/large tree behind my house that had been struck by lightning. Their equipment was state-of-the-art and I would recommend them highly. Also, they were $900 cheaper than a competitor.

I highly recommend Carolina Tree Care (CTC). I first used CTC in the Spring of 2018 when a large limb fell from a front-yard free, clipping a corner of my home and cracking a concrete parking pad. CTC was on the scene the next day removing the limb. They returned later that summer and removed the entire tree and ground the stump - for a more affordable price than quoted by at least 4 other arborists.This year CTC returned to remove a 90-year-old tree in my back yard. Originally scheduled for March 2020, I had to change the appointment when I started working from home during the Covid-19 Pandemic and couldnt be without electricity or cable for the time needed to remove the tree and grind the stump. They were extremely flexible and accomodating when I again needed to re-schedule once again in May due to weather. They were flexible yet again in July when Duke Energy couldnt arrange to lower my power line and arranged for their crew to arrive when Duke Energy was able to lower a power line.The crew that removed the tree - working in very tight quarters between my home and my neighbors home - was extremely skilled, professional, efficient, and courteous. My neighbor and I were extremely impressed with their attention to detail and remarkable ability as they removed an extremely large tree from in between our homes without any damage.The stump was also ground even with the ground.Above all, the price - compared to 4 or 5 other arborists - was extremely affordable and competitive.HIGHLY recommend Carolina Tree Care.

The team of Samuel Fantauzzo and Dylan Richardson did a fantastic job removing and trimming my trees. They trimmed and removed several trees and did a great job cleaning up prior to leaving the work site. When I need more work done by Carolina Trees and respectfully request that these two men be assigned to the job.

Mr. Keply arrived on time and assessed the work and delivered a very competitive quote. We set a day and time for the team to arrive, and arrive on time they did. Sammy and his crew discussed their safety plan and expertly completed the work. I appreciate the professional effort by all.

We were referred to a tree company after we had a storm blow a tree over and land on our house...they came out and informed us they couldn’t do the job but recommend Carolina Tree. We had gotten a couple of estimates but decided to go with Carolina Tree even though they were a bit higher on price. They were very quick to come out and do the job which was good since we needed the tree off the roof before we can start the roof repairs. We did get a couple more late estimates after we had already agreed on Carolina Tree to do our job. All of the other estimates were $1500-2000+ LESS then Carolina Trees job price. I am glad the trees were removed, but we still have tree branches on the porch roof, and on the hot water pipe on the back side of the garage roof. Also I thought it was kinda crazy that an uprooted tree from the ground when everything was done was cut off at the bottom and then put back into the ground with the stump being left behind when it was totally out of the ground. I was told that when they cut the tree from the house that it stands back up and replanted itself (I can kinda see that because of gravity 😜) In the end this company cost more then all the other quotes we got and we still have clean up to do when the roofers come to do the roof repairs. Also, I still have a small dead tree in the back yard that I can cut down later myself.**UPDATE**: I contacted their office as they asked on Wednesday September the 11th and talked to the secretary/receptionist. She asked me about my experience and about my issues. She apologize and informed me that she was going to be contacting “Chase” for him to get ahold of me to send a crew over to fix and take care of the stuff that wasn’t done from the first original job. It is now Friday September the 13th and I have gotten no phone call or any attempt of anyone wanting to reach out to us. At this point, Im done and will be taking care of whatever needs to be done myself.

I wont even rate this company, they did contract work for our electric company and left a pile of limbs in my front yard, I have called for over a week and they said they would contact the manager and here the pile still sits. I have contacted the electric company they did the work for and advised them of the mess they left and have yet to come back. Carolina Tree came out in October of 2012 to remove two dying gum trees that were leaning over the top of our home. They were very safe, professional, and thorough.We went with Carolina because we knew how dangerous the weakened trees were over the roof of our home. One wrong move and our home would be crushed. We knew Carolina carried the liability insurance required and that any damage would be repaired without any problems. Fortunately, the guys were so good at their work, no damage was done and all is well.The guys removed all of the debris, and even ran their blower to clean off our patio and walkway. We were very pleased with their services and would definitely use them again in the future.

This place is currently contracted with Mid-Carolina Electric Co-op in South Carolina. A place like this that has reckless drivers that dont follow the law at stop signs and throws birdies towards customers of Mid-Carolina Electric Co-op does not deserve business! This place needs DOT and highway patrol on them.

Spoke with them at the end of June (28th) to grind 4 stumps and clear some brush. I was quoted a price ($715, reasonable for the job size and I agreed) and told it would probably be the following week. I waited until Friday the 8th and called and they said it would be the following week again. Called at the end of the 3rd week (7/14 at this point) and I was told they would be there first thing in the morning on 7/15. It is now 7/21 and no one has called, showed up or bothered to even let me know what was going on. If you can not do a job, be upfront about it. If it is too small, be upfront about it. If you say you are going to show up, show up. I have hired a different company and will not try Carolina Tree Care again.

What ever you do, stay away from their trucks. My wife and I passed one of their trucks when a rock was picked up and thrown up and cracked our windshield. Of course, after contactng the company they stated that they would take care of it. Lo and behold, they came back and refused to do anything about the windshield. So, I would be very careful in dealing with this compay and not trust anything they tell you.
