This review is about my experience with service request an their customer service. FDU is used in my apartment complex, and I needed the fire alarm disabled to get some repairs done on my AC unit.Ive had great experience with them, their office is easy to call and they pick up regularly. Their office hours are from 7am - 4pm which I found reasonable.I worked with Heather to coordinate timing, my preference on how the technician would come out (whether the tech could stay during the duration or make 2x trips), and she was great. She responds quickly over email and phone number, which comes in handy as I much prefer to communicate through email. I was able to easily to confirm my appointment time and coordinate with the AC technicians/property management company that way. The quote was clear and easy to understand, which was important as Ive never made a request like this before.Their technician Mitch was also awesome. He promptly came out at 8 am, as scheduled, and I got his number from FDU to message him. He was supposed to come back at 2pm, but he kindly stayed while waiting for his next job to make sure everything was safe since the alarm was turned off! Also said hed be available to turn it back on if they managed to finish early, and that hed message me once leaving as well. Such a clear communicator and personable. He made me feel confident that the job was being handled by an experienced professional.All around good, easy experience working with them!

Had a fire alarm system installed in a new building that needed to be renovated. The staff was nice, professional and prompt with my installation. Great service hands down.

I have worked closely with the owners, Rick and Patricia for the last few years with multiple business decisions regarding fire life safety. They were both extremely helpful with all aspects of fire and security protection and knew the building codes to help guide me to make sound decisions for my people. I highly recommend using FDU on any design build construction project and services.

Paid for a service, that did not get done. Hired a new company to fix what FDU did. Trying to get a hold of someone was impossible. They did not care what I asked, even what the fire dept asked. this was Complete trash experience, horrible all around. NEVER AGAIN.
