Ive had three apartments through Keystone over the last few years and have no complaints. Maintenance is always quick to address concerns and available 24/7. Ive had to call late at night for emergency situations and the guys are pleasant upon arrival and willing to help. Very comforting knowing they wont leave you hanging! I pay my rent online through the app, its user friendly and the convenience of not having to write/turn in checks is a plus. Keystone was my first landlord and will be my last until I buy a house, overall great company to rent with!

I expected a different experience beingkeystone is a larger corporation with many properties. I was surprised to find that all staff behave considerable. Never had a serious issue. So long as u pay your rent! Their late fees are a high 10%. I should mention that rent is high. Especially for what youre getting. Nothing included & rent is known to go up. Im terrified of these people. Im so scared they are going to find any reason they can to kick us out. If you are a day late on rent they charge 50$. We pay rent on time every single month and have been here for 4 years. It just doesnt get better. Nothing could make these people respect us. Theyve raised our rent every single year 20$ at a time and theyve raised my rent 50$ since covid began. They didnt care when i plead with them not to raise our rent during covid crying. I cry many many nights worrying about rest, living here, safety, and having my stuff stolen if its outside my apartment. We are a code number and a treasurers check nothing more. We mean nothing to this company. Ive already discussed before how terrified I am here and it has been taken with a grain of salt. Ive been told to go to the cops and its not their issue. Im terrified to have packages come here. Ive gotten a few stolen already. I had my gay flag CUT off my door. By a psycho with a knife. It was bolted from the inside of my door. keystone told me it was my own fault for putting it in a common area where it would get destroyed. I have a 5 year old child and Im scared to leave my apartment most of the time. Because of how often the cops are here for some violence occurring. I always lock the door whether Im inside or not. The nice things said in response to my review are not the norm and Im scared there will be some sort of revenge for posting this because thats what Ive heard and read from others . Ive gotten yelled at many times for coming with issues that have happened to my family. Its not worth talking anymore. I just desperately dont want to be as poor as I am and stuck here on a yearly lease they keep adding rules to and keep raising 30$ a year or more. They take almost half my household income. When knowing when we moved in that we didnt make the minimum income cut to live here.

I’m writing this review specifically for the Keystone office in Concord, NH. I’ve lived at their property for over a year and am only leaving because of a career change. If I was able to stay, I would. The entire time I lived here I had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and folks in the office. The units are clean and, while I was here, the folks living here were quiet and respectful. I definitely recommend the Concord properties.

I lived here for a year and it was the worst company I have rented from. I was always on time with my rent, and the last month of me giving my notice, I was harassed by 2 different Keystone employees via phone, as to when are you moving out, even though I wrote a letter to Keystone the month prior with the date of the termination. I then spoke with the owner of Keystone due to maintenance entering my apartment on two different occasions without my consent (there was no emergency in the apartment). The only reason why I knew was because one time, the maintenance guy left a blank door tag on my door, with no explanation or writing on it. The second was my neighbor said the maintenance guy walked in my apartment while I was not there. How is this legal? Oh wait, it isnt. The owner apologized and that was it. Robin is a nightmare as well. This company has no idea what is going on, save yourself the time and headaches.

This is my experience at Harbor Pointe Apartments in Greenville, NC 6/11/2020:I was not going to write this review, because some of the people here have been nice. But Im so infuriated by how discomforting it is to live here. One of the maintanace men is so rude that I cannot believe he even has a job. They have someone repairing an ac next door and the person has been walking in and out of the unit obnoxiously slamming the door for HOURS now. I know that what theyre doing must be a noisy job, but the slamming of the door is completely UN NECESSASRY. At this point I believe he is doing it on purpose because he heard me report it to the leasing office. He literally just did it 2 times since I started writing this review. This is just the tip of the iceberg.I relocated here from 2 hours away in Durham. I regret ever signing a lease here. I should have kept looking but with the type of work I do, I dont get much time off to move and hunt for places. The unit I moved into was not cleaned thouroughly. But I liked the place (even though the flooring has humps in it all over the place) so I decided I would just deep clean it myself. The issues didnt end there. The unit has a roach infestation. I noticed it on my first night here. When I came into the kitchen and turned on the light, they were everywhere. In a kitchen where I hadnt even cooked anything yet! When I do cook I have to constantly cover every little thing and watch closely for baby roaches! Its inconvenient, not to mention GROSS! Someone has been here to spray twice during the 2 weeks (and 4 days) that Ive been here and nothing has changed. There is a serious plumbing issue. When I run the water to take a bath, sand, and orange water comes out. Also, the water smells like feces. Every single time that I take a shower, if I go downstairs and come back, there is a sewage smell coming from the bathroom that covers the entire top floor of the apartment. I cannot even take a shower. I have done it a few times because I had no choice but the smell stays on my skin and hair, so there really is no point of even bathing! Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive officially been living this way for over two weeks. Ive been waiting for almost 2 weeks for this issue to be resolved! I cant even eat! Ive lost my appetite. I havent eaten a proper meal in days! Im 100% disgusted. They say they are moving me to a new unit tomorrow but I honestly wish that I could just leave. This is the worst place I have ever lived in. Ive lived in the hood before and it still was not as bad as this. I am a virtual call center owner, meaning I work from home. I mentioned this multiple times before I even spent hundreds of dollars transporting my things from Durham to Greenville. When I got here, I had to miss an entire week of work due to wiring issues. The cable company just came and installed the internet anyway about a week later. They finally came and fixed the wiring yesterday and the internet is still slow. Please dont make the mistake I did. I was in such a hurry that I did not look at the property before agreeing to move in. Take a look and dont base your decision on what I said. See it for yourself.Update: They never called or stopped by to update me or give me the keys to the new unit. I mentioned meeting them at 3pm to look at it, but I was interviewing new people for my call center and had a bunch of work to do. So I assumed because this is an URGENT MAINTENANCE ISSUE that they would call. I looked up at the clock, it was 5 pm. They were closed. I had not one missed call, no email, nothing. They literally let me live here for almost a month with contaminated water. I want out of the lease. I will never ever rent from any Keystone Management property ever again. Dont. Do. It.

Keystone management is actually a pretty good company considering what property management companies are like. Im pretty sure they dont own these buildings, they just manage them. Most of the bad reviews seem to be more associated with the property and not directly with Keystone. They really cant help it if an apartment is nice and new, or old and musty. ONE bad maintenance man can reflect somewhat on the company, and I hope the one whos been a jerk was fired.I had a girlfriend who lived in a Franklin NH apartment complex they manage and I say they are a great management company. People who like Keystone typically find it unnecessary to write an affirmative review. People who have had some problems with a property are the first to dump a bad review. They arent crooks like many of the others Ive dealt with. I knew many of the people who lived in her building and NOT ONE of them had any complaints or problems with Keystone.I have no interest in this company. Im just giving you my honest opinion based on my experience.

Robin was terrible to deal with! They wouldnt adjust prices for not having heat for two weeks and she lied to me multiple times, as well as my landlord. She was rude and hung up on me once as well. They finally let me out of my lease early with a letter stating I wouldnt have to pay a fee and then they tried to charge me! Robin said Keystone will get what its owed. Uh no, did a BBB complaint with a copy of the letter and all of a sudden, oh no, we didnt tell you you had to pay. They lied constantly and acted like they didnt when called out on it.The water heater didnt work when I moved in, pipes bursted 3 times (got yelled at on the phone by them because I couldnt find the water valve which they covered with ugly pine straw), washer/dryer I was renting broke twice, no heat for 2 weeks, tub came apart from the wall, and maintenance broke my rug shampooer and shelf and brought mud all through the living room staining the carpet. Also, tenants kids were putting nails under peoples tires, threw concrete pieces at doors, and spray painted a car yet the landlord did nothing when presented with who the tenants were. The cherry on top was not returning my security deposit and charging me money for carpet removal due to pet mess. I had a 8 year old trained yorkie and she didnt mess in the apartment because she was placed in the kitchen while I was at work. Maintenance stained the carpet and the landlord refused to do a final walk through with me when I moved out. I took videos and pictures and it was spotless when I left, I even fixed THEIR cabinets, toilet, bath tub, and front door.I paid instead of taking them to small claims court but just out of principle, I should have. I moved out in 2016 and an still hearing horror stories from there.Wish I read the reviews before I moved into one of their properties. Im glad Im out. Do NOT rent from Keystone, and definitely do NOT move to The Villas in Kinston, Nc!!!

Thank god my husband and I are now moved out of the pineview apartments in Peterborough. We lived at our apartment for 2 years , unfortunately. This place was a complete joke and they have no idea how to maintain an apartment complex.Let me start with the biggest issue we had while living here. When we moved in we were told this was a non smoking community and they even had signs up on the property saying no smoking. This was very important to us as second hand smoke causes an array of health issues and is also known to cause cancer. Well , quickly after moving in we found that the “non smoking community” was a total lie. Everyone here smoked , constantly and everywhere. They smoked in their apartments. They smoked on their balconies. They smoked out in the parking lot. We complained thousands of times over the 2 years living here about this and not once did keystone do a thing to fix this. In fact - our upstairs neighbors smoked on their balconies so much we couldn’t even open our windows to get fresh air. We were paying over $1,000 a month for rent and couldn’t even open our windows. We texted and called the property manager Dave multiple times about this and he would NEVER answer. Since Dave refused to answer we took to calling the main office in concord who would tell us they would get in contact with Dave to try and resolve this problem but they never actually would. Finally, one day , when I was cleaning and opened my windows , only to have cigarette smoke flow into my apartment, I asked our neighbors myself to please stop smoking on their balcony. I asked them nicely. I explained we have 2 very little kids we don’t want exposed to second hand smoke. Instead of being understanding and kind they cussed me out and screamed at me. Classy. I immediately called dave after this happened but as usual , no response. Dave couldn’t answer his phone or texts but he was perfectly capable of actually telling our upstairs neighbors he didn’t like us and they may continue smoking on the balcony. Good job , keystone. You really know how to pick a good property manager. I hope keystone knows that advertising themselves as non smoking but not enforcing this is completely illegal.Besides the smoking , tenants would constantly leave trash outside their doors in the hallway , let their kids run around destroying the building and being loud and obnoxious, the cops were here constantly because of people fighting or being extremely loud , we had to often replace our own lightbulbs or fix things in our apartment that didn’t work from the time we moved in because yet again Dave and his co workers don’t know how to answer a phone and actually do their job. There is even more that keystone did through our time living here that was completely illegal and wrong but I don’t have the time to write everything out. But now we are going on 3 weeks of being out of our apartment and I have yet to receive or security deposit. I’m sure they are going to give us hell getting our money based on how everything else with them goes. All in all if you enjoy living with trashy tenants , secondhand smoke, and property managers who don’t know how to do their job then this is the place for you to live !Also , Amy responds to all these reviews telling you to email her so they can “resolve” your issues. Good luck. She won’t respond to your email or you’ll talk to her or robin on the phone they will try to tell you what you want to hear then do nothing to fix the problems after that. And if you want advice on how to try and improve pineview apartments in Peterborough, enforce your own rules you created , fire Dave and get a real property manager who cares about their job. Instead of having dave install fake security cameras to try and “scare” tenants to behave properly and follow the rules - install real ones. And treat your good renters well and get rid of the trashy ones 🙄Good luck with your lawsuit you have coming your way keystone.

It looks nasty. Mold around windows inside that they always put off fixing when you ask. After we moved in we noticed the cabinets where broken and they just laid a board over it. There not even fully mounted to the wall. Bad toliet pressure. Have to flush 3 times just to get toliet paper down after peeing. Screen doors dont stay on. But hey I guess you get what you pay for. If I could provide this business with a negative count on the stars I would gladly, do so. I have been living in the Meadowbrook apartments for close to 2 years. Ive had some maintenance requests be delayed sometimes for weeks even when calling in multiple times, or filling out the online form. Though this was more of an inconvenience not a big problem, for my family and I.The biggest affront so far and the reason for this review was when my wife called to find out the details of our lease, as we seek to move due to high cost of living in this area. We will be moving one month before the lease is up, to note we have never been late with rent at all nor had any complaints filed against us for any reason. We tried to find some leniency (granted it is ok, if they cant do us any favors) by calling to the office and pleading our case. One of the ladies from the office (Darla was the name I was given) proceeds to cut my wife off, not letting her speak and then proceeds threaten her to take our security deposit and also renew our lease without our consent. My wife then asked to speak to her manager, Ashley or Ashleigh who then denies that any of that occurred as she was overhearing the conversation. She then also says that per the lease we will have to cover that last month and lose our security deposit, but also pay a re-rent fee of $200 for leaving one month before the lease is up!I get a call from a distraught wife, so I decide to go to the office in person, a stones throw away from the apartments. I walk into the office and speak to Ashley, who without being part of the conversation reminds me she heard the whole phone conversation, goes on to protect her colleague. She then tells me that my wife had gotten rude with her, which I then ask was it before or after the threats of taking the security deposit or renewing our lease without notice? She didnt respond to my question. I was calm the whole time, and just calmly asked for a copy of the confirmation to not renew the lease with them and their names. (Magically Darla, the main person who was part of the phone altercation, did not have a calling card) The person who my wife spoke to didnt even come out of their office to speak to me. This company has a history of being abusive to its tenants and is somewhat akin to a slum lord in Concord, NH.I am writing this review as I have believe I have no current recourse for what has transpired, this office is the corporate office and their is no official way to file complaints either to the company nor via any governmental agency. If you are deciding to move into an apartment within the state of New Hampshire, please be aware of your rights as a tenant, they are basically non-existent. Avoid this property management company at all costs, while the rent is cheap, everything is run down, fixes take a long time and a lot of prodding to get anyone to acknowledge them.

Having read several poor reviews, it would seem there may be some upset people. I have been a tenant of Keystone going on four years, and I have yet to experience any of the issues mentioned in prior negative posts. When we first looked at our apartment, I was taken back a bit at the funky layout. Funky? Yes. The apartment is part of what used to be a single family home that had been broken into apartments at some point, in doing that the layout is quite unconventional but it works. The apartment had fresh carpet, fresh paint, and was very very clean. I think the only cleaning we had to do prior to move in was vacuum the brand new carpets again. There have been a few things that required I contact Keystone to remedy. I have spoken with Darla, Ashley, Pam, Robyn. All of them spoke to me with the same respect I gave them, and my issues were always addressed in less than or right around 24 hours. We had no heat because our pilot light was out, they sent Chris within an hour and he not only had our furnace running properly, he replaced some parts to ensure it wouldnt be an ongoing issue. The security deposit was quite low with the lease agreement. Each year at lease renewal time, the rent goes up a little bit, but thats not at all uncommon for apartments in this area. The rent starts quite low for what you get, so its not an unreasonable increase. All in all, it just seems like Keystone has gotten a poor reputation that may not be warranted. I cannot speak for the experiences of others, only myself. And my experiences have been very good, especially considering the size of the company. In reading some of the bad reviews, Im taken back a bit by how unpleasant people say the office staff can be. I have never had any of the Keystone team treat me with disrespect or malicious attitude, and thats including the half dozen or so fix it workers Ive met. In closing, judge for yourself. Meet with the staff, interact with them and form your own conclusions. Nobody takes the time to address how well things go, but theyll always make time to bash someone or something they feel is an easy target to blame for their issues...maybe thats something to think about before you write off Keystone because of the words you read online in a review.
