I recently rented a SUV for a 4 day get away. I received a clean, brand new smelling high tech Ford Exel, it felt brand new, she was a beauty spacious to fit my family comfortably and mint condition. I was so excited! then to top it off the accidentally agreement for a low price was worth not having the headache of transfer my personal insurance. Instead I paid for their protection plan that made my 12 + hours commute less stressful. I must shout out to the staff at Enterprise in Commack NY location. They were all helpful, professional and respectful, they even called to check up on the vehicle and asked if all is well on the trip. Thank guys that was beyond my expectation. I rented a car through an insurance claim where my parked car was hit by someone else and was in the repair shop. This enterprise location was conveniently located with immaculate cars, and I was in and out. But most importantly, I was assisted by Matt who went the extra mile and called the insurance company who I was going through to request an upgrade for me since my normal car is a SUV and I was approved for an economy class. I was so pleasantly surprised he did and am so appreciative. Will definitely be back!

Savannah Bucher, picked me up at Performance Auto Body in Smithtown, N.Y. because I was leaving my car there for repairs. She’s employed by the nearby Enterprise and drove me to it as soon as I as ready to leave the body shop.Savannah was EXTREMELY pleasant, friendly , and helpful from the first moment we met.I was very particular in my requirements for a car and Savannah made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. After we’d settled on the car, she showed me what had been noted as very minor damage on the exterior and interior and explained everything else in detail. The transaction didn’t take long.Tyler, the manager of that Enterprise, was also very accommodating in every way.All in all, I had a very positive experience. My only complaint is that the gas tank only had a bit more than a quarter of a tank in it. I think the gas tank on all rental cars should be full at the time of the pickup.

I have had the worst experience with this company, it is the worst, its salespeople never help you if you have problems when you rented the car.

I have rented at least 8 cars over the last 2 years. Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant experience. Had to drive 20 minutes to another location because the location was out of vehicles. The vehicle i did receive was absolutely disgusting. Smelled like a chimney, and was like they didnt even try and clean it. Little gnats flying all around inside the vehicle. Very disappointed.

We where suppose to pick up the car at 11 am. We arrived at 11:15am and the car wasn’t ready. It had a flat tire! They gave us a Chrysler Voyager and they said we could keep it for the same price. As we packed it up my husband noticed Cheerios on the floor. So it wasn’t cleaned very well. There wasn’t a booklet in the car to show how to operate it. The window washer needed to be filled.

Rental was dropped off at my location. When I got into vehicle started to clean touch points steering wheel, blinker, etc.Good thing I had alcohol wipes to clean because vehicle was filthy. Not what you want to experience during a pandemic. Customer service was not helpful and the last thing you want to hear is sorry we are closing now come back tomorrow.

I reserved a car for a week online and when I went to pick up the car it wasnt available. they had no other car in its class (intermediate) and they did call 2 other local Enterprise locations and they had nothing either. The inventory must be kept up to date otherwise reserving online is useless. I needed a vehicle that morning for a 450 mile trip. I had to settle for a mini van which I didnt want but I had no choice. Staff at office were very pleasant but unable to supply car that was reserved.

Had an appointment to pickup a car @ 2pm - called at 11am to see if it was ok to pickup the car at 5pm. They said it wouldnt be a problem, I asked than to make sure the car was clean.Arrived at 5pm to see a car out front with the all the windows open on a 30 degree night.... That was the rental they had for me. The car was not clean at all, dirty tissues all over the interior & the car smelled like an ashtray. When I asked about the car they said it would be 20-30 minutes to clean the car. No apologizes at all. The the car that was supposed to be ready at 2pm is not ready @ 5pm. Instead they offer me an upgrade to a more expensive car at my expense... The manager (Alex) is not professional at all. Will not go back to the Commack office!

If I could go negative stars I would. None of the staff know what’s going on. There is no communication whatsoever. The first time I used them the manger begged me not to write a negative complaint promising to give us a free upgrade into an SUV next time we needed a rental. He said it was notated in the computer and gave us a card. He did this because the initial rental we got into basically broke down later that day so we had to bring the car back and go to the deer park location only to be turned away because they knew nothing of it . So today when I tried to use the upgrade Alexandra the “manager” told me the previous manger was let go and refused to honor anything that was discussed. Still I tried to give them business. My insurance company covers up to $30 a day or $900 a month after agreeing for an Intermidiate car she still wanted me to pay $10 a day out of pocket even though taxes are included as per the reservation representative. My insurance company and I asked multiple times if he was sure and he said yes a read a little blurb. So we called the commack location to see when we would be able to pick up the car and Ian told me someone would give me a call back after 2pm, ok. So I’m waiting no call so called only to be told oh we told you to call us back lies but hey that’s their M.O. when I tried to finalize things and pick up the car they switched everything that was agreed upon around and really tried to insult my intelligence!!! Please do yourself a favor use this branch ever..... unbelievable!!

Rented an intermediate sized suv for the weekend...placed the reservation 2 weeks prior to needing the car and selected that i would be using a debit card. Got a call at 830 in the morning the day i was to pick up the car, to confirm pick up time and tell me what to bring as proof to use my debit card. Got to the enterprise where i was to pick up the vehicle to be told there was no car there that i could take. Had to wait while they called other enterprises to find one 2 towns over. When i asked why a vehicle wasnt ready i was told there is one for me but the system wont allow it to be rented on a debit card, so i asked again why there wasnt a vehicle ready for me and they couldnt answer. The employee drove me to the other location and the only car they had for me was in a previous rear end accident with visible damage to the rear end. Was told the suv was checked by nissan and i would be fine. Got on the road an hour and half later then my scheduled departure time (no big deal). Got to my destination 400 miles away and had to find a tire shop the next day cause the pressure in the rear tire was so low the warning light came on the minute i started the car that morning. Rented the SUV cause i needed to bring stuff to family that belonged to my late grandmother, i would of had an easier time if i took my own car and less stuff.

Out of all of the choices one has on Long Island to rent a car, this Enterprise office in Commack is the best. They are a small office, yet have a very good selection of fine cars. As for upgrades, they will work with you to get a car that delivers an experience for you.With their pick-up/drop off service, who can beat them? Great customer service on-site with really fun personalities. Enjoy your next rental and go with this office if in the Commack area.

By far the BEST place ever. Ever single person is so beyond friendly and understanding. Easy affordable service and was able to extend the rental with not one single issue. I will use this place time and time again if I had to. Recommend to anyone look to rent a vehicle.

Got a rental from a car accident and had the insurance company set up the reservation. Employees called me to confirm and verify and notified me when the car is ready. When i got there they were so nice and the car was indeed ready to go. Cant complain about good service.

Staff was great but rental was beat up and dirty, I was embarrassed driving it.

The customer service at this location is excellent. The staff are willing to go above and beyond to give you what you want if they can.Unfortunately they did not have any full sized sedans when I picked up the rental. I called back a couple times to change it out, and the staff never lost patience with me. They went out of their way to make it happen.

I needed to rent a car while mine was in the shop. The paperwork all went like clockwork, and everyone there was pleasant and helpful. I rented a Pathfinder, which was spotless and performed perfectly for the two weeks I needed it.

I made a reservation for Friday May 17th and they had it down for the 10th. I spoke with Alexandra, the Manager, who found my reservation and put me in a Nissan Pathfinder at the same price. Great job. Easy to see right off of Commack Road. Clean facilities. Great staff. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.

I really love Enterprise. They are a family oriented company who have NOT forgotten about customers for their own bottom line! They are the only rental car company who still allows you to use a debit card if you so desire, offers you *walk away* damage waiver for little or nothing, which I always add to my Geico rental insurance coverage. And they return the addl deposit hold back immediately. No waiting weeks. I feel safe with Enterprise. They also have a several 🌜late night drop off locations as well as early pickup. 😉.

I had an appointments out of town and thoughr that I had reserved a car with another car rental.....well to my surprise, my reservation was cancelled in error. I made a call to Enterprise car rental in Commack, N.Y. and the representative was very helpful. I was able to get a rental immediately and was on my merry way. Great customer service!!! Highly recommended and Id patronize them again.

The girl at the counter was rude very unprofessional. If that girl was working for me - she’d be out the door. Wasn’t interested in helping me or my wife.She was more interested in making sure she looked beautiful, with the throwing her hair back. I don’t need that I need someone who wants to help.Never again. She worked on Thursday the 30th of August she worked with another girl who was fantastic short and bit chunky nice girl.

Good experience overall with all the people at my local branch. Chris the manager at the enterprise I go to In Commack NY always is helpful and tries to accommodate my needs with the most reasonable pricing option for the intended use of the rental. Most recently I had an issue upon returning a vehicle at another location were they were attempting too charge me for using an additional 500 miles. Upon learning this I contacted Chris the next business day and before needing to explain, he had already dealt with the issue knowing my itinerary for the weekend did not include going a large amount of miles. As we had spoke upon picking up the vehicle as to the intended use of the rental vehicle for that weekend. Which resulted in me not getting charged for significant extra mileage that I had not used. I always use enterprise for rentals and will continue.

Worst experience renting a car. They told me one price and charged me double. Stay far away from talking to the managers. Alexandra will not help you and is extremely rude, she even hung up on me. I can’t express it enough DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. horrible service, nasty people who clearly don’t enjoy their job.

Horrifying experience and i rent from enterprise all the time... WORLDS WORST ENTERPRISE ... IT MADE ME CONSIDER HERTZ FOR THE FIRST TIME... i went there 16 mins late on a rainy day and they gave away my rental to someone else and made me wait while they go get oil changes and wash the car in the rain ... made me drive to NJ in traffic ... the worst part is they had other cars but they didnt want to give me them unless i paid more than double ... branch manager is garbage ...

Garbage they told there is a vehicle for u and u get there and there is none booked for u!?!?! Had to give u a pickup truck!!! And was covered in bugs from bump to windshield!!! Place was unprofessional!!! All they wanted to do was up sell the insurance and stuff!!!!

This is by far one of the best enterprise locations Ive visited across the U.S. Ive been with them now over 3 months (enterprise itself for over 5 years) and every time they are courteous and polite. My vehicle has been clean and have never had any issues maintenence wise (to include they were prompt in getting an oil change for me). They always call to see if everything is going well with the rental, explain everything with the contract each time, have recommended local things to do in the area, and the one occasion where I was overcharged they took care of it asap. They were even flexible with my renewal day when I couldnt make it in that day. In particular Alexandra and Jacqueline have always been helpful and Im always greeted with a smile and a how ya doin today. I have other locations that are close to my house, but will continue to go here and would recommend them to anyone in need of a rental. Thank you again ladies yall deserve a raise, extra day off, or something.

By far the worst experience I had in renting a car.The manager was rude, impolite and pushy.I was told to go there for a rental while my car was getting repair and the manager seem as if he was doing me a favor.I was told to be there by a time and when I got there the car was not there, instead he kept forcing for me to take a big car when I was assigned a compact.for almost 20 minutes he persisted in pushing me to drive this car home =, to the point where he said he will deliver a smaller car to my house.Over a day later he show up in my doorstep rude as the day I first saw himstay away from this location or company

This was an overall awful experience. First, I was given a car that was barely cleaned, the person who rented it before me had left papers and snacks in the center console which were left there for me, and the car, other than being vacuumed was dirty. Also, no one offered to come and pick me up like their slogan goes, and I had to find someone to drive me to get the car after someone had hit my parked car. To make matters worse, while renting the car a rock hit my windshield cracking it, naturally I called the location who notified me to call my insurance company in order to get a claim number so it could be fixed. Easily I called Geico who promptly gave me a claim number which i called and gave to the enterprise location in commack and within 24 hours reported coverage, but to my surprise 1 week later I walk up to my front door to a fed-ex letter from enterprise full of legal notices about the damage to the car....now im thinking what else happened to the car, since it was picked up by their employee from my car dealership...but once again you can never get someone to talk to, because although you can call and listen to a machine 24 hours a day, there are no humans to be found after hours. Either way I call this morning only to find out the letter was due to the fact that the COMMACK location did not forward on the information...NICE, so what exactly are you doing commack enterprise? you clearly are not cleaning the cars, picking up the customers, or filling out the appropriate paperwork? NEVER AGAIN! CHOOSE SOMEWHERE ELSE!
