Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Asked to speak to a manager when I wasn’t satisfied with the uhaul vehicle and the manager Erin didn’t pay me no mind at all. Continued ignoring me when I asked to speak to her and she prosecuted to say: I’m listening , when she clearly wasn’t paying me any attention then proceeded to argue with me afterwards literally worst customers service ever. EVEN FROM THE MANAGER ERIN. I WOULDNT SUGGEST THIS PLACE AT ALL TO ANYONE. Don’t bother wasting your time and money at this facility.

Incredibly RUDE. I ordered moving supplies on the U Haul site and opted to pick up the supplies at this store. The order was never confirmed by email to me so I called the store. The guy answers the phone still talking to another customer in the store. I tell him about the order and he tells me they dont stock supplies and promptly hangs up on me. I literally couldnt say a word before I was disconnected. I would stay clear of this place. Terrible.

Hitch installation was done unprofessionally in my SUV. The guy who installed Hitch was either tired, new or may be drunk. For his own ease he cut door edge guards to install electric wire which could have been done genteelly.I was not happy with the installation so, i requested to reinstall it properly or do something because now water can easily get into through this broken rubber edge guards, Well, instead of feeling guilty he demanded an extra $100 for the fix.Finally, I had spoken with manager so he took pictures of broken guards and filed online claim on his own. I was advised by manager to actively followup on this claim by given claim-id.Since then, nothing happened except giving me a page with few lines which was temporary customer satisfaction lollipop.

Had a truck reserved for 7am when they open and no one has showed up for 30 minutes. Very unhappy and late to work.

One of the employees Anthony with a moustache and beard was rude he didnt wear a mask or name tag when it came to changing out our trucks from a 20 foot truck to a15 foot truck he wouldnt credit the difference from the exchange he was extremely rude to my mother another employee took over and was able to process it for my mom need better employees for that place. As long as Anthony is working there I wouldnt recommend anyone to that place Ive been storing my stuff their for eight years and the old employees that were there before were much better than Anthony he should be fired with his nasty attitude.

Long line and only 1 person working. Waiting in line for over 45 minutes to pick up a truck. You would think that management would have anticipated a larger volume and had more workers available based on reservations, it being moving season, and being the end of the month.Reconsider using this location if you want service in a reasonable amount of time.

Never had an issue with this particular uhaul branch. I have used this location more than a few times and I have not been dissatisfied as of yet. They have instituted a very easy drop off and pick up by way of a small cellphone-like device. There are 3 uhaul branches that stick out to me as being better than all the rest. One in Tennessee, one in Akron Ohio, and this one on east 5th Avenue Columbus Ohio. Way to go uhaul.

Impossible to get through to these people, even if you call repeatedly at 7am. Have been calling weekly because they are a month and a half late on getting in my hitch for installation. But unfortunately cant ever get ahold of a live person

Did a four hour truck rental and experienced some issues with billing. Paid for the vehicle prior to use, returned it on time with gas replaced and no damages or debris left behind. Checked my credit card a week later and found charges for a second day and a cleaning fee. Took several days for staff to investigate why and issue a refund.Would not recommend this location, but if you do, triple check your credit card statement for a few days after for any fraudulent charges.

Weve had a rental unit at this site for a year. Our payments are auto-deducted from our bank account at least two weeks before the due date. But the checks are routinely processed AFTER the due date so we are assessed late charges and lien processing fees. This seems to be a predatory practice to generate additional income or this location has the WORST back office of any business. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS.

My mother and I went there this past week to help me put my items in storage for a few weeks while I wait to move into my new place. Yes, there are new employees there as of right now that are still learning, but they are so kind and caring about whatever you need. Especially the manager, Mr. Shaw. He is so kind and gets you in and out of there with a smile on his face and the most positive of attitudes. I recommended it to one of my roommates while we were moving out and she had the same experience.

Nobody would even address me when I came in I had speak up when nobody was even doing anything but sitting there looking at me and say I need to rent a truck. The mans first words was how much money you got and laughed sarcastically. I had high hopes that this establishment would be professional but quickly learned they are ignorant and rude as can be the man who helped me was clearly high on something and there was one girl was helpful but the rest was trash

As of writing this, its been a 35 minute wait to pickup 25 boxes and a roll of bubble wrap that was prepaid for. According to others, this is a normal occurance here. Avoid this place at all costs if youre on a time crunch.

This was a fabulous facility. Tony the general manager was helpful. Joshua & Tiffany were amazingly helpful & supportive. Any questions I had they answered & Tiffany helped me navigate large boxes into my VW beetle.

I was lazy and didnt reserve a trailer. It showed one here, but my roll of the dice was not favorable, it had been rented out shortly before I got there. They were extremely helpful in tracking another down locally Their network was down, and they called like 15 other places and asked. Great customer service!

I rented a huge truck here last month and the staffs are super friendly and helpful. They have a variety of trucks to choose from. The only suggestion is to upgrade some of the trucks to a newer one and clean up the internal. The truck I rented is a little dirty inside.

This has been a HORRIBLE experience! We scheduled a hitch appointment and was told we had to wait for the part to come in. 4 days later uhaul called to schedule a few days out. GREAT! Except they never had the part! My husband took the day off so we could bring in our vehicle and they never had the part. We were told they were going to reorder the part and the manager would be in contact with us. A week went by with no contact so we called over and over without a call back from said manager. Finally I got a hold of Tony who stated he left at 2 so the next manager on duty would be taking care of us and promised a phone call between 4 and 8. We of course NEVER got a phone call and when I called at 530 to get an update they person on the phone said they emailed Tony and promised a call within an hour. That phone call never happened! I have made 30 calls (back to back) from 730 to 8 when they closed with no answer at all!! The biggest problem is when we scheduled the appointment to get our hitch installed we made sure they could install said hitch before paying for a week camping trip, and now we are 1 week away from our trip and still no hitch and we arent any closer to getting it.

I attempted to use the online self service option to retrieve my truck. I followed all the instructions, located my truck, took pictures of damage that was not marked, etc. When it was time to retrieve my keys, the woman training pulled up a truck that was not the one the online application had assigned me too. When I told the woman this, she got rude with me and went to find the general manager. After I explained the issue he said to me No. Thats not how it works. I pick the trucks. Why would I be assigned a truck with the application only to be given a different truck when going to the counter? I explained that I didnt want to be accidentally charged for two trucks or be responsible for any possible damages someone might do to the truck I was still associated with on my online account. He made zero effort to explain anything to me and only continued to tell me that I was wrong. When I finally noticed that the account numbers were the same on the two contracts I now had, I reluctantly conceded to take the other truck. As I was leaving, I saw the original truck I was supposed to be renting being given to someone else even though the general manager told me the reason they switched my truck was because that one had maintenance issues. Needless to say, I have never dealt with such as unprofessional general manager nor do I ever wish to rent from Uhaul again.

Always have what I need trailer wise ,with fast service.Never had any problems with equipment, never go to any other location. Thx always Brad.

Not a bad location. They have a full supply of moving materials (boxes, tape, etc) unlike a lot of the other uhaul locations in Columbus. They do seem to be understaffed, so if you have questions or really need anything be prepared to wait. Everyone has always been helpful, and they have always carried my boxes and other stuff to the car for me, which is appreciated.

Terrible service. We asked for an appliance dolly and never got it. Had to rent one from the destination, and they didnt Take the charge off. And if you want to call them, forget it. No matter what you do, they dont pick up the phone, or live chat online. Nothing. Youre stuck.

Horrible service. Just talked to an extremely rude cashier who blamed me for the frozen card reader when I was checking out and forgot to bring me the stuff I ordered. I am going to contact U-Haul customer support and if I dont get a satisfactory resolution, I will file a complaint to Better Business Bureau asking for a disciplinary action issued to the employee.

Had everything ready to go. Fast and easy. Great service. Great people.

Poor excuse for a business, they will let you reserve even if they have no units, and wont tell you until you go to try to move in to the unit. Then, instead of resolving the problem, they tell you that a nearby U-Haul location might have a unit. Youd think theyd call and check, but no, that would be too hard. The employees have horrible attitudes and act like everything is your fault. Avoid using this place at all costs.

TERRIBLE. Was charged for an additional month of storage a full month after my Uboxes had already left the location. STILL trying to get a refund and it has been a full month. Manager never answers the phone. Tell corporate hes called me when I have not heard a word from him and not seen any type of refund. Absolutely terrible. Will NEVER use UHaul ever AGAIN.

Called and asked to reserve a car trailer. Their rep said no problem. Got there in less than an hour, but it had been rented to someone else who left a credit card number. Funny... NEVER EVEN ASKED FOR OURS!Horrible Horrible Horrible.

This location is abysmal. The customer service was terrible when I called about self storage. They man I spoke with couldnt answer any questions that I had with any certitude. It was as if he didnt know what was offered, nor the price, nor anything else. Needless to say I rented a storage unit elsewhere. Yet, I still needed a vehicle. When I rented a van and didnt pick it up at the exact time that I told them, I was called by the location to say that I am lucky they even held a vehicle for me because they could have just charged me and not had a vehicle. When I asked whats the point of having a reservation (which is supposed to be from the time I said I would pick up until 8:30am the next morning), all the woman would keep saying is that I was lucky they even kept a vehicle for me. Her tone was demeaning and rude. I still dont understand what the point of a reservation is if they will just cancel it on a whim if you dont pick it up exactly when you said you would. To top off my whole experience with this location, my car was struck and seriously damaged by a uhaul employee while my car was parked in their lot and I was using their vehicle to move stuff. I did not know of this event until I returned the van after-hours and went to my car to find the rear bumper ripped off and the entire rear of the car shifted about 7 ft! They were kind enough to leave a note. So, at 10pm, in a somewhat sketchy part of town, I was waiting for the police to file a report. Uhaul should have called me as soon as the damage happened.Everything about this location is TERRIBLE. I will never go back and probably never use uhaul again.

Attached a hitch with only 3 bolts instead of 4, and when I returned to the store for the last bolt they said they didn’t bother because it only needs 3 bolts to stay on. Also didn’t bother to check if they had the correct wiring for my car, so only half the job was done. Not good customer service, and I wouldn’t trust them to put a hitch on another vehicle having intentionally half-assed the job. I left feeling taken advantage of.

O7/30/2018. 10:27am ....Staff seemed like they didnt really want to help me when I was looking to buy boxes. Pretty much acted clueless and rushed me off.

10m after leaving the lot. Light comes on the dash. Low pressure tire light. In the snow and ice, they dont even inspect the TRUCK before you take it. Unsafe.

They asked us about what time we expected to be done with the van, we gave an estimate, and when we returned it slightly later than that got double charged the $20 rental fee. No explicit mention of any time limit or associated fees.

The woman answering the phones is rudest person Ive ever spoken to. Wouldnt even take my reservation number to look it up. Kept asking me what name reserved the truck, I kept giving her my name and she kept getting more and more rude. My reservation confirmation listed that number and location.

When I called, the lady I spoke with had no idea what vehicles they had available. She was rude and short and I will not recommend this site to anyone.
