They were great from the moment I called! They estimated 1-2hours, and then called me in about 20min to let me know they were on their way. Shane showed up, and made sure everything was good to go. He even made sure I had a ride to the dealership. The price was reasonable, and I was impressed with the service. Will definitely use them again if I need a tow!

This business doesnt even try to help you in anyway what so ever. all they want is money they dont care to get you back on the road they dont try to make it easier for you in anyway they actually make it way way harder for you. they didnt want me to put a piece on my car which was the only way the car could start they said I cant do it on theyre property for insurance reasons and I totally understand that. but when you say your going to charge me to take my car down the road which was clearly a 30 second car ride and a 5 minute walk, your going to charge me to take it that far then your going to make me use my AAA for 5 minutes of your time was truly messed up I mean if I could I would give this place negative stars. to do that to people when theyre truly I need of help during this pandemic is just wrong. so to everyone this is not a reliable tow company...

Used them twice in the same week, reliable and one of the best prices I could find in the are although they do tend to be a little busy.

Car towed to the wrong location. Meant my car wont be fixed until midtime next week instead of this week. They did tow it to the correct place for free, but I lost my vacation time and a lot of money because of their actions.

One of the drivers ran me off the road. I called company to report it and they didnt care. The supervisor name was dalton and couldn’t care less. I would never use them because of being unprofessional!!

My fiancé called me on his way home from work when all of a sudden his rear passenger car tire blew. He was on I-270 right during rush hour. I immediately called Woodys towing and they put me on the dispatch schedule. They mentioned they were busy, but would do what they could since there was someone in the area. The driver called me 5 minutes later and was already on his way to get my fiancé! He even beat me to go pick him up. He knew a tire place in the very next exit off I-270, which was only 3 miles from the pick up. When I came to meet my fiancé at the tire shop, I watched him unload the car with care. The driver was super friendly and helpful! He explained when he saw where my fiancé was on one of the busiest highways in Columbus, he made sure to get us quickly, which meant so much to us. This was the best car experience I’ve ever had. Woody’s Towing was extremely professional, caring and helpful. They made this typically painful process very simple. Thank you so much Woodys!

I was stuck on the side of the highway and my vehicle was facing oncoming traffic because my vehicle spun around in a different direction and Woodys towing service got there quite fast! And if anyone knows on Snowy days tow truck companies are backed up for hours! I only had to wait about 30 minutes to 45 minutes! I didnt have the money on me and they let me pay them at home! Also I asked them to back my car in the driveway and he did and he helped me push my truck back into the garage which he did not need to help me do all he was supposed to do was drop my truck off at home and thats it! He was a very nice and respectful man he gave me his best wishes and told me if I need anything else just to give him a call! Also the person that answered my phone call was very hopeful and she took my information fast and got a tow truck driver out to me ASAP! Also she was very nice while I was waiting for the tow truck driver she called me two different times to check up on me and asked if I was okay because she knew I was having a panic attack because my car was facing traffic coming towards me! This woman actually stayed on the phone with me for 20 minutes until I calm down then within the next 15 minutes before the tow truck driver showed up she called me back two different times to check on me she spoke to me for about the Whole 30 to 45 minutes because she knew I was upset and having a panic attack! She went out of her way to help me both the receptionist and Woodys Towing Service help me a lot! This was my first time using them also and it will not be my last! Anytime I need a tow truck I will call Woodys first and foremost I will never call another tow truck company again but Woodys!

Was in the middle of a high traffic area waiting on a tow truck. A driver from Woodys towing stopped and moved the vehicle out of the center lane to the side of the road to clear traffic and put the vehicle in a safe zone. He did this at no charge. If I ever need a tow, will call them. Bravo!

Driver was yelling from his truck tonight at the person in front of him, pulling into a busy gas station, to get out of his way and then he floored it going around the car. Again, this was a busy gas station. He went in the gas station to get something, came back out and floored it again circling around the pumps and the cars waiting to get gas. I stayed behind my vehicle out of fear of getting hit. Driving like a crazy person was totally unnecessary and dangerous to the patrons of gas station. When you drive a company vehicle, you represent the company any time you are in that vehicle. The hostile demeanor of the driver tells me all I need to know about the company.

Called woodys around 930 on a Wednesday got Clayton out in 30 minutes top notch service and a good guy would recommend.

Called at 5:30am for assistance and the person answering the phone was very nice and helpful.My car was towed within 90minutes for a fair price. Receipt for service was promptly sent to me. I would recommend them.

I called Woodys after another tow truck company blew me off. The person answering the phone was professional and joked with me making me feel less stressed about breaking down in the middle of nowhere. I was slightly concerned about cost, as Woodys was further than the orginal tow truck company I called, but the bill was reasonable (my husband was sure it would be double). Additonally, they made the process easy by sending the bill via text (vs. snail mail or having to talk to someone in person - thank heavens). The only reason I gave them 4 stars vs. 5 is because they were backed up and couldnt arrive for several hours.

Nathan contacted me upon arrival to vehicle (I left it behind with directions) and reviewed instructions. Nathan also suggested we talk about contingency plan in the event things went awry. What a pro. They also assisted one of my sons with a tow about three months ago and he was very pleased (thats why I called them today) . Prompt, Professional, and Pleasant. The driver was late. They picked my car up at 2:45. It’s now 5:15 and my car still hasn’t been dropped off. I had to track down what was going on because no one bothered to call. When I called I got given the run around. Highly recommend finding a more reliable tow service.

Kevin B came to tow my car, he realized that the starter is not working so tapped and had my car started and charged me only for jump start services. He was smart and helpful.

My experience with woodys occured today around 325 on st rt 664 south in hocking county just passed the lake logan spillway heading north i rounded the corner at highway speedto find this dog and pony show moving a mini home into a driveway completely stopping and holding traffic while we used a tractor to attempt to get the trailor off the road with no regard to traffic ie. Maybe a flagger on the hill to warn traffic? Maybe have a truck or tractor capable of doing the job on its own without the help of each other? Maybe call the state patrol for assistance when stopping traffic on a state route? Anyway you guys.were a good laugh for the ten minutes you had me stopped! But will be the last towing service i would call even if i needed assistance in front of your shop!

This place is the most unprofessional place ever. The front desk is really rude and the owner doesn’t care. My car was towed there by the police after I was in an accident. My experience with dealing with them to release the car to the insurance and getting my belongings out of the car was a nightmare. Anyone who has a choice shouldn’t go to this place. They’re disgusting people!

Im not sure what kind of towing company doesnt allow you to go back and get YOUR items out of your car. The woman at the counter is extremely rude. It was not my car, so I received permission from the owner of the vehicle to receive my items and they wont let me back to get MY living items because the title has already been transfered. Which means they now own all of my things . Well its our stuff now buddy Just awful.

My 18 yr old son was stuck in the intersection of Fishinger Rd and Riverside Dr. he spent 1.5 hrs waiting on AAA and AAA couldnt give him an estimate on when they would be there. The snow was rapidly falling and businesses were closing early because of the impending snow storm. I called Woodys and the woman who answered the phone was compassionate and understanding and immediately went to work to see how she could help us out. She had a wrecker to my son within 30 minutes and safely out of the way. The driver of the truck was kind and fast. You wont be disappointed with their service!

If there was a zero id give them one. called at 7am to have a car towed that was parked illegally and they showed up at 1:30 pm and were mad because the car wasnt still there. tried again at 9:30 pm and they said they couldnt come out till the next morning! get serious! theyre a joke.

A year ago my car was towed from a crowded parking lot of at least 50 cars who were also illegally parked. I was left stranded with my one year old. When my mom took me to their location to pick up my car I was emotional with the workers, upset that they had chosen to tow a car with a babies car seat when they could have towed any of the other 50 cars. My husband had passed a way a few months before, when my mom explained to the worker I was being confrontational with that this was why I was so emotional the man laughed. He laughed at me for having lost my husband and he father of my child. My mom said, You think thats Funny? He said, Yes. and laughed again. These are the kind of people who work at this establishment.

Woodys towing was extremely accommodating and caring when I broke down across the street from their business. They came and checked on me despite the fact that I had already called AAA to ensure my safety and give me a jump start. Amazing customer service!

My car broke down on the shoulder of I-70, so I called them. The driver showed up earlier than the dispatcher estimated. The rollback worked perfectly, and we had a nice ride to the dealership on the other side of Columbus. All of this took place on a Sunday afternoon.

Lady that works the desk needs to be fired. Missed the entire class on customer service. Spoke to her today. Rude as all heck. At every turn, she had to make a quip or some kind of remark. She has to be family of the owners, or in some delusional state shes on some reality TV series like Lizard Lick. Advice to her: Customer is always right (even when theyre not)

We broke down in Columbus on our way to Ashland from IL for our grandmothers funeral I called Woodys and they came right to our rescue and towed us almost 2 hours to our hotel, they even worked with our insurance company so that our tow bill was partially paid by our insurance and the rest by us... Mark was so nice on the phone when we called and our driver was extremely friendly and so accommodating! I want to thank you all for your help and let you know what a blessing you were to us!!

When I called and spoke to the dispatcher, she was rude and less than pleasant. First she said it would be an hour, then said it would be 30 minutes. Within 15 minutes, waldo showed up. He was exceptionally nice and apologetic about the dispatcher. I will definitely call them again!!

Matt was my point of contact today. When he first showed up, he was not able to hook up my car because the parking lot was full. He explained to me that because of the game downtown all the axel lifts were preoccupied till the game was over. Fully understandable.He told me that since his route was around Hilliard he would keep an eye out to see if the lot emptied out enough for him to hook my car on to his flatbed.I was working on my car in the meantime and Matt popped in to see if there was room to tow me. Unfortunately there was not, and I was able to do the maintenance needed to my car in the parking lot.Unfortunately, I didnt need Woodys today, but because of Matt, Woodys will be my first call!

On Jan 20 2019 my truck got stolen so I called them to give me a tow and the guy that came out that. Night was so rude it was around 11pm he towed my truck from the back and he kept on pushing into my truck only lefting one of my back tires off the ground he was trying to get it in the yard. trying to push it with his truck he end up messing up my exhaust my muffler was on the ground all most and I was so upset and again my truck was stolen so I was not having a good night anyways and he looks at me and my step dad and he said it just needs a hanger Im like no it messed up.. He was so rude to me and yelling at me and my step dad. my 15 year old got mad at him so the tow truck guy told my son he would call the cops on him.. He called his boss but my step dad end up talking to the boss.. Will the next day I had a locksmith come out and make me a new key and as soon as my truck turn on it was so load.. But I called the manager or I think he was the owner he was very nice they fixed my truck with no charge. Thank yoy for that and thank you for being kind☺ the only reson i give two 🌟 was because of the guy that towed my truck.. But the owner and manager was very nice thank you so much

Called in on a Woodys driver just tonight on 270 near sawmill rd. Spoke to a guy about the truck driving near 80mph while hauling a skid steer on a single axle roll back truck, the driver was changing lanes and passing cars all while fish tailing from being overloaded. While on the phone with the guy a strap broke and flew over my car. He said he would handle it and thanks for calling. Several minutes later I get a call back from this guy telling me I should get my speedometer checked because he has an accurate GPS on this truck and his driver hasn’t exceeded 62. My response to him was he needs his stuff checked because he was clearly going much faster and being unsafe and he could potentially get someone killed, he said he isn’t gonna get anyone killed that he has been driving for a long time and knows what he is doing. I am a CDL driver that operates large trucks on a daily basis and this driver is exactly the kind of driver that should not be operating a commercial vehicle and the Woodys guy didn’t give 2 $&@s about it or anyone else’s safety. So Mr Woodys guy, feel free to call me back and explain further why you don’t care, you should still have my number....

Ive tried using these guys a few times now and have not had a good experience.Im currently going on my 4th hour of waiting on a tos truck. When I 1st called to schedule the tow, the receptionist told me they do not schedule ahead and was very unfriendly. Called in at 1.5 hours to check if I could get an update and was told by a more friendly guy that he was not sure it could be 20mins or 2 1/2 hours.When the driver finally showed up, he was ok. About what you expect from a tow truck driver. He did an ok job towing the car.Was a little overpriced but nothing crazy.Last though, he dropped the car about as far away from the mechanic bay as possible and said they would have to push it closer, I suck a driving and could have gotten closer.Will not be my 1st call next time I need a tow!!!!

The guy with the big long beard came and saved the day for me. I had to call roadside assistance because i had a flat tire. Long story short, that guy couldnt get the tire off so i had to call progressive back to get it towed. The guy that came from Woodys asked if i would rather have the spare put on instead, i said yes. This poor guy tried and tried but nothing worked. That tire was on there good so he just towed it. The fact that he went above and beyond makes this man a very important person that cares about others. He was super nice when he towed my car home i was able to greet back inside my home with a smile on my face despite of my crappy night. This man turned my mood around and if anyone needs a tow, Im recommending Woodys! He may be a rare employee but a wonderful person that other younger employees need to learn from and look up to. Thank you to Woodys for hiring this wonderful man that came to help me out and care so much!

Our car was stolen and taken to this facility. We had to jump through hoops with this company and they were about as rude and nasty as can be. Extremely unhelpful to a 19 year old kid. Then extremely rude to me when I needed to drive from Dayton to get the car. Would not recommend whatsoever. Unfortunately the woman who worked there was nice, but the hatefulness and dishonesty of the owner in particular was unacceptable.

I wish we could give no stars. Called for a tow and guy who answered was rude and spoke to me like I (the customer) was bothering him . Immediately hung up on him. Called capital towing right after, got everything done in a 5 min call.

If I could rate Woodys with 0 stars I would. They are a shady business and will DO ANYTHING to manipulate you so that they can make some extra money. DO NOT USE THIS TOW COMPANY.

CPD called Woody’s to come tow my car when AAA had yet to come tow my car and I was blocking traffic. Tucker did a great job, was careful not to mess up my fender, and was really kind when I needed a friendly face.
