They’ve towed me out of my apartments at least twice lol, but that’s my own fault. 5 stars for no damage ever being done to my car and no one being rude to me at the lot!

Roger and Kyle were extremely helpful as I’m new to the area and needed assistance I had been in my car calling different places from 10am till 1am when I called them they got to me within about 30 minutes and they didn’t complain about my tires special situation their number is now saved I am very appreciative and would use the service again

My car was stolen on 2/15/21 right in front of me when I was dropping my child at her dads house. I filed a police report and had a rough 2 days looking and panicking about my car. I got a call from the Columbus Police department on 2/18 at 2:04am and when I finally got hold of an update they said Pro Tow towed it because the gas station owner didnt know it was stolen and they just called the tow company 1st.... It cost me 203.00 just to get my stolen car back from them and I had a police report and all. They said they dont cut breaks for cases like that because they still have to pay their tow people. After 2 days of spending money to replace a phone, car seat, medication that i needed and they told me it was still full price and I stated most companies would cut a break and the girl at the desk said, well we dont here. They charged for 2 days when my car wasnt even there for 24 hours. The big lady told me it was because it was picked up before midnight and after midnight its considered the next day. Thats a rip off!This place is very insensitive and dirty too. There was a DUSTY water filter machine in their lobby. Who would want dust in their water!

Everytime i called pro tow they were friendly and helpful. The price of the tow was one of the cheapest I found. The driver when he dropped of the car was great . He put the car right where I wanted it.

This is one of the tow companies in town that cruises private parking lots and steals cars and then makes you pay to get your car back. They will make up some excuse that is an out right lie and there isn’t anything you can do about it be cause they already have your car and won’t give it back.

Called in to see if theyd be able to get a skid steer out of a creek. Took awhile for them to finally get to me but they were busy and professional in informing that there would be a wait which I was fine with. Quickly popped the skid steer out of the water and were great guys. Will be recommending them to others 👍

My car was in an accident on HWY 71 and, since I live out-of-state, I called Pro-Tow because they were open and only a short distance away. I am so glad I did.Their prices are in line with what Im used to in Virginia where Im from.Its their kindness and helpfulness that set them apart. Bryan towed my car to the lot, where I waited until my brother could pick me up. The lady at the front desk, Debbie, was incredibly hospitable, making sure I had water and access to the bathroom. I hung out at the towing yard for a couple hours and had a good time chatting with Debbie and the drivers.The next morning the team towed my car from the yard to a nearby shop for repairs.All in all, it was excellent service, very personable, and fair. Many thanks to Debbie, the team, and Felony (the cat) for making my wait enjoyable.

This place is a scam. They claim they tow cars for parking on the grass but they only towed my car when clearly there are other cars in violation and they were not towed!

I don’t know why I towed my car, and after my car was towed by them, all the fault lights are on, it’s definitely unprofessional, and I’m just like a bandit.

My car broke down just south of Columbus, and I was referred to call Pro-Tow. The lady I called was kind and prompt. A driver, Dave, was sent my way right away. He was kind and helpful. He drove me all the way to the Columbus airport to get a rental car to continue my trip, and took care of dropping my car off at my house for me. It was a great experience!

Tow truck driver was prompt, helpful and kind. As he was loading the car in our driveway (safe area with no traffic) he let my 4 year old grandson work the controls to raise the car up. Such a quick simple gesture but made our day. Thank you for showing kindness in an unexpected situation.

I personally have never delt with this company however I work at a license agency so help a lot of people out who’s vehicles get impounded.... most company’s require a drivers license and registration to get your car out plus money obviously. I had a elderly man come in today stating he needed his title and registration to get the car out and he had lost his title. I tell him there has to be some mistake bc I help people all the time and they only need their registration so I tell him I’ll call to double check. I called.... the guy the answered the phone didn’t even say anything when he picked up, when I said hello twice he answered as if he was annoyed that I was calling. I explain I’m so and so from the license agency and I have a man that’s a little confused so I wanted to clarify. He stated that the sheriffs office put the requirements into place and it’s what they need in order to get the car. I explain the title offices are closed in franklin county and it’s going to take a week for this elderly man to get them... he argues with me that the title office are open (I only work there... what do I know???) this poor man is now getting charged by the day until he can get his title to take it down to them. After reading the reviews I can tell he’s not the only one in this situation. I’ll be making a call to the attorney general. Bad business is never good..... mind you I contacted the sheriffs office and cpd just to double check the requirements for getting a car out of impound and it’s in fact just a registration and license or id

I wish I could give them zero stars. The most unprofessional place I have ever seen. After requesting to discuss with a manager, a random guy that works there came and said that he was the manager. When I asked for his name he said that he is not going to tell me his name and I have to pay in order to solve this. I understand that this is their business but a business has to be professionally done...Horrible experience...Stay away from them...

I called them about 4 or 5 times TOLD THEM I was waiting and they did not have an explanation of the long wait until about 12:30 which was they supposedly didnt have my check from pick and pull who also are bad for business ... Worst service ever I do not recommend doing business with either of these companies

This is the most professional, most friendly, most accommodating towing business I have ever seen in my 48 yrs of life.We were towed (big rig with a 53ft trailer) to their yard with locked up brakes. The lying [FIX MY RIG ] company gave us a 2-3hr ETA at 0800hrs, and didnt show up to look at our rig until 1830hrs. Then took my broken part to get it replaced, and never showed back up.What make Pro Tow so wonder full is they let my dog, student & I hang out in the front office for about 6 hrs waiting on Fix my Rig to show up. On top of it, Mickey (dispatcher) had bought us a full take out meal from Canes and refused to let us pay her back. Then instead of forcing us to get a motel, since the yard closes down with attack dogs roaming the property, the let is stay in our semi, saving a huge motel, taxi bill....Then once again Fix my rig kept giving us the run around on when they were going to be there, when they promised a 0600hr return to fix the truck.So the very smart mechanics got together, even though they didnt have to, and made a brass airline joint fitting that fixed our truck and got us back on the road within 30 mins. AMAZING PLACE !CANT EXPRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPRESSED I AM WITH HOW THEY TREATED US AND HOW THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY AND HELPED GET US BACK ON THE ROAD, EVEN THOUGH THEY DO NOT WORK ON PRIVATE VEHICLES.THANK YOU FROM BUTLER TRANSPORTATION

Let me just say, this company is a SCAM! My car got towed for being parking on the road in my own neighborhood. I spent majority of my morning trying to get it out of the impound. So not only am I paying $200 for something ridiculous, I’m losing money by missing work! The people doing “customer service” were rude. Not to mention they only accept cash to get your car out, so I hope you enjoy your DIRTY MONEY!!

They have a contract with apartment complexes and tow without discretion. I feel that towing should be for helping people, like in car accidents and car problems or abandoned vehicles. The one gal who gave me their number told me she learned her lesson a few years ago, when she came home from the hospital with her baby, parked to take a few hour rest, and her car was towed.

I parked my car in my apartment complex for less than an hour and came out with my rear tag laying on the ground where my car was parked and was told the next day that they had towed my car for no rear plate. They single out nicer, newer cars so that they know people will come pay to get the car out. They only accept cash as if theyre drug dealers stealing peoples cars to sell back to them. This business has very illegitimate practices and the driver who stole my car should be arrested. They took my rear plate off to justify towing my car. If this happens again I will be filing a police report. Theyre a bunch of criminals and their business should be shut down.

My motorcycle got impounded on a Sunday at 8:12pm, I got it out the next day at about 7:30pm, and they charged me for 2 days. It wasnt even in there for 24hours.. It cost $209 to get it out after 1 day... a total rip off!

Had a trailer tire blow! They showed up in 30 min and installed my spare as I didnt have the tools needed. No problem experienced with them.

The staff was very efficient and nice, they helped me get all of the items from my car even the trunk that was smashed! they provided the tools and helped me retrieve my plates. They purchased my totaled vehicle and a notary was right there onsite to avoid further frustration. Thanks Guys, & Girls :)

Best place to get a tow. Obviously if your being impounded your not very happy but if your a customer , your probably pretty happy with the experience.

*Warning for anyone who gets towed by this company and your car is in your parents name*I am currently a student at Ohio State University and was involved in an accident and my car had to be towed. I was told at the time of the accident that I am able to stop by the lot and remove any items from my car no questions asked. However, when I went to remove the items from my car I was denied access because the car is in my fathers name and not my own. That’s kind of an issue considering my father lives several hours away. Will definitely not be doing any further business with this company ever again due to the lies told at the time of towing as well as the rudeness of employees. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Pro Tow is passing counterfeit money!!I paid 150.50 to get my son-in-laws car released from Pro Tows lot. I gave the guy who cashed us out 160.50 and I received a $10 bill in change. I gave the $10 to my son-in-law so he could put gas in his car. About 20 minutes later, I get a phone call from the son-in-law who was at the gas station.... the $10 bill was counterfeit.I called Pro Tow to tell them that they gave me a counterfeit $10 bill. The guy who answered the phone said, well it came out of our cash drawer, so someone had to give it to us. Yeah, no offer to exchange it, no apology, no nothing. Im out $10.

This was my first experience where I had not called the tow truck to come and remove my car. I will first say they were respectful in the fact that they did not maliciously(even though it was illegally) remove my car while being parked at a slant in front of the garage(s) ... that I rent every month. The cost me Double Time at work becasue of an assumption. I spoke with two different reps but had a full conversation with a gentleman by the name of David and while speaking to him, his driver was dropping my car off using a flatbed, offered an apology for causing this dabolca. I acknowledge the empathy, but had he done his JOB..the call would not have been needed. I just would like to be compensated for a lost day of pay at DT.**This rating is solely based on this experience.

I only give 1 star & wouldnt give any if I didnt have to. I live in an apartment complex that has assigned parking & although I do not have a vehicle of my own, I desperately need the spot because Im disabled. Family members who visit my neighbor always parks in my spot on the weekend. Ive asked her to move but keeps parking in my spot. Pro tow is the company contracted to tow cars from assigned spots yet they never patrol the lot & when calling them to ask about the car being towed the dispatcher was very rude & disrespectful, she spoke over top of me & told me she was interrupting me to tell me that Im calling a 24 EMERGENCY line & was upset because Ive called 4xs. She said she wasnt going to keep taking my calls..She was very loud & rude. I asked when they patrol lots cuz Ive never seen them here & Ive been here for 2months. She says they only patrol when they have trucks free & clear which seems to be never. She proceeds to tell me that I need to address this with my rental office because theyve been told not to tow family members cars on holiday weekends. So screw the fact that Im disabled & cant walk far or my RIGHT TO HAVE MY SPOT. THE LADY WAS RUDE TO THE MAX!!! I WOULDNT DEAL WITH THEM FOR THIS REASON.

Alright so lets start with the employees-- awful and discourteous. its not that hard to be nice, i promise, but they manage to be the worst type of humans. the kid of people that contribute to making the world a little worse of a place to live among others. this place is like a graveyard where beetles go to die in the waiting room and its pothole nation in the lot. i came to learn that if your car gets towed after 11pm, if you pick it up at 12 its considered a new day and you have to pay $12 on top for storage (being parked in their repulsive lot and them writing on your car with window paint thats a pain in the ass to get off) plus $90 aannnnddd tax. so all im saying is the place is dreadful and the last possible location you want to find yourself at night, as it will completely diminish any partial happiness you were previously experiencing.

Bunch of thugs whose their job is to collect extortion money... they towed my tractor with my loaded trailer from Walmart at Hilliard Rome rd without Walmart call of complaint... Also my truck was disconnected from my trailer and I was charged for two units a total of $642.41...

Staff are pretty nice but other than that it sucks lol! Prices are awfully expensive and you have to have everything under the sun to prove your the owner of the car then you have to have 2 licensed drives to even drive it out.

They were really quick at showning up to the tow and the driver was very nice and quick at his job.

The people working at this company were so unbelievably rude and sketchy as hell. Every person that I talked to told me that they would accept credit cards... except for the person who processed my payment who demanded cash only. I am not from the area and have no idea where any banks are, and i assumed that since its not 1976 a credit card would have been fine, but I guess its harder for them to pocket the money when its credit.
