They were very rude over the phone and the lady told me I can do a virtual view of the property. Also they only allow dogs 35lbs and have breed restrictions. Well fyi any animal thats registered legally as a Service Animal is protected by the Disability Act. No one can tell you that they cant rent to you because you have a legally registered service animal the breed doesnt matter thats a lawsuit.

I absolutely appreciate Mrs. Patel, she helped my fiancé and I move with no issue! We were approved in no time! She and the staff are friendly, professional and understanding. Rented a home from them since 2017. So far: the bathtubs, showers, and toilets overflowed, the wood on the fence has rotted away and crumbled (the property owner ordered that the rotted wood that completely crumbled away be replaced by new boards, which were then hammered onto the rest of the rotting fence. Right now, our bathtub, toilet and showers have been filling up with water for the last ( hours. I was told no one can come until tomorrow and that I will have to find accommodation for myself and my children for the night, out of my own pocket due to not having insurance. My children had to go outside like animals to use the bathroom. These people knowingly rented us a house that was slapped together and has been falling apart since we moved in. Today’s issue is the LAST STRAW. Do NOT rent from these people. Even if this is an issue with the property owner and not the real estate company, they should know better than to work with a person who takes advantage of people in this way.

Heres one star for the whole year/lease we spent with no working oven and mold growing in the rooms, despite maintenance requests. Got out as fast as we could. That house is/was not fit for habitation, whether responsibility falls on the property owner or the rental agency.

So I just recently signed a lease for our new house. The experience was easy and efficient. I have not had enough time to work up a true experience with them other than first impression. I dont hate the place but I dont like the fact that this is a property that is paid for and the idea that when Covid-19 hit the owner still wanted rent after the pandemic slowed. Instead of attaching the balance on the back end of the lease or just forgiving it. That has and never will set right with me.

Too many old homes in outrageous areas with too many stipulations as far as credit.

I went into the office to check out a key for a property that I was interested in and the staff was phenomenal! They ALL had bubbly personalities and were so helpful. I went in with an interest in one house and walked out with 3 Keys to view multiple houses. The girls were all very knowledgeable about the properties, knowledgeable about the community and I felt that they genuinely wanted to help me find a home that I loved. I highly recommend using them as a realty company, they truly care about helping others!

Here recently I’ve been dealing with a lot of rental companies, but nothing like this one. I checked out a key from one lady, she had long hair and she was very nice and professional. Told me to call if I had any questions while out at the property. Then when I returned the key I dealt with another lady, very rude and snappy. When I walked into the office she was on her phone and didn’t get up to address me until after I started speaking. She didn’t make me feel at home or welcomed, so I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Worst rental company ever. I normally don’t do reviews, but his company need to be exposed. They treated me as if I needed them. People in Columbus, GA need to boycott this place. They talked to me very rude. They yelled at me and upon signing our lease, they laid out very discriminatory rules as if they were trying control my whereabouts while living in their property. We observe racism while being in their office. If you are military don’t rent from them. My husband is military and I’m going to make it my mission that military know not to rent from them. If you are African American, don’t give your money to them.

I did talk to an unknown lady a few weeks ago regarding pest control, simply inquiring if they were coming that day and she spoke to me very rudely. Her voice did not sound familiar and she may have been a brand new employee. After that incident, I always just ask to speak to Kerri because she is very nice and most helpful.

I was recently looking for a home to rent and was recommended to Flournoy and Calhoun. I was blown away by the level of customer service that the ladies in the rental office. I was instantly greeted by an agent with a great, upbeat personality. I told them what i was looking for and they directed me to some beautiful homes. Very satisfied with the experience at Flournoy and Calhoun!

First, a bit of background. I have owned rental properties for over 20 years and have extensive knowledge and experience as such.Given that I was moving to Atlanta, I needed a short term rental in order to renovate the house I owned in Columbus. Given that I had a friend who was in the process of renting their previous home, I ended up signing a rental agreement with F&C. The first thing that should be noted is that the inspector who does the checks on the home for damage or other issues does a very poor job. This was very obvious as none of the paint on the floor or rotting mildewed caulk was indicated, among many other serious concerns.Well, as I previously stated, this wasnt my first rodeo and I knew the best way to protect myself from existing issues and damages was to extensively document them via photographs. Upon notifying F&C of the photographic evidence I had procured, they advised me to send them via email. As anyone with even the simplest computer knowledge would know, sending more than just a handful of photos over email is not the best system.Rather than point out such a silly method, I told them I would bring the photos over on a USB, inconviencing myself in order to do so. Upon arrival with said pictures, I was told that the computer used to store rental information was down and was asked if I could leave the USB with them until the computer was brought back up. I hesitantly agreed, which in hindsight was a mistake on my part.Fast-forwarding to the the end of the rental period, I request my USB back with the photos. I was told that they made multiple attempts at contacting me in order to return the USB and had then thrown it away since they were unsuccessful. Now, if this were true, I would be annoyed but understanding. However, just two days prior, Kari, the manager, sent me a personal email requesting the keys back for the property. No email or phone call was ever received notifying me of an attempt to return the USB.Upon relaying that they had tossed the USB, I asked Kari to speak with a manager, to which she replied that she was the manager. After asking to speak to a manager higher than her, she said that was the owner and he didnt deal with rentals.Rather than admitting they had lost the USB, Kari instead decided to lie in order to shift the blame to me, the tenant. Rather than offering to replace the USB, she felt the need to say there was nothing they could do about it.I share this because as you are looking for a company to either manage your rentals or actually rent from, please ask yourself if you want to deal with a company that makes mistakes and instead of owning up to those mistakes, lies about them. Sure, it was just a USB but if they wont own up to a small mistake such as this, do you really expect them to own up to larger ones?So as you are shopping around for rentals or property management companies, I advise you to skip this one for a more reputable company such as Landmark Realty or Coldwell Banker.

I must say this was one of the best realtor companies I have rented from so far and with it being my first time renting a home, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the service to the attitudes, I loved them. Bethany and Kiana were so understanding , helpful , and sweet throughout my months of renting with them(I absolutely love those ladies). I will be recommending everybody I know that’s looking for a place to rent or possibly owning straight to them ☺️☺️. They don’t even deserve the one star! The only reason they have a one star is because I wanted to write a review. DO NOT EVER USE THEM! Nothing like packing a Budget truck, drive 8 hours from Tennessee and get here to sigh the lease to be told we didn’t qualify for the house. Luckily I kept all emails and text messages saying we were good to go. I had all the utilities turned on before the lease was signed. I was told everything was ran. I have a feeling they promise people homes and don’t go through with it after they already paid for the credit check. I am tempted to have a friend of mine write and article in the paper and online to see how many people are having the same problems down here and see if it is legal to take money then turn you down! In fact I’m considering going to the tv station where another friend of mine works and push someone to do a report on this. Almost every real estate company down here is ran the same way.

I went there to get a printout of all their rental properties and at the same time I was going to check out a key or two to take a look at some of the property on the front of the rental form it simply says there will be a $20 deposit to get the key but when I got to the counter she said it will be 40. All Im saying is if youre going to advertise 20 then until you make the proper changes on your rental flyer then you should only charge that amount. The young lady did say that they had a meeting that morning and it was just changed that morning to the $40 amount. That is cool and all but still at the same time Flournoy and Calhoun should have changed the flyer

I havent rented from this agency. I just viewed their listings. Typical realtor in Columbus. Although the rent is low, the properties are old, not very insulated, so your utilities will most likely be high. You come out better finding a property where all utilities are included or the tenant only pays electric. Do NOT rent a property where you have to pay electric, gas, AND water.

I rent from this company. I have never had any problems with this company. If I have a problem I go to the tenant portal and make a request for the problem and they send out a person to evaluate and handle the repair if needed. I think they are a good company to rent from.

Im a Captain stationed at Fort Benning, GA. Difficult realtors to work with, poor communication all around. Upon the beginning of the lease, the home was not ready to be moved into, many repairs had to be made to include the A/C, heating system, and dishwasher. Theyve tried fining us regarding the state of our lawn, which we have a service cut. 1/10, would not recommend

Ive been renting for more than two years and every maintenance issue we have, they hire the cheapest possible. Weve had our roof fixed more than three times in the same place and it is leaking AGAIN. We needed a new faucet because there is a leak and they replaced it with the cheapest possible one. It looks like it was purchased from the dollar store. We pay too much for rent for these terrible and cheap repairs!

Ive recently started renting from them, I had no issues until I called today to speak to someone about an unwanted guess (rat). I asked if they could send someone from pest control. I was told I had to pay for pest control myself. I hung up, about 2 minutes later the lady called me back and said I didnt have to pay and that she would make a work order. Ive been home all day waiting for pest control. Needless to say Im still listening to this critter scratch at the wall to try and get out. Hopefully the issue will be addressed in the am or imma have to pay someone to come get this thing out my house.

I’ve spoke to the staff several times about the squirrels in the attic and nothing has been done about it. I guess they’re going to wait until the squirrels eat the wires up before doing anything about it. Then this going to be a bigger problem. Every time I have an issue with anything, I have a long wait before anything is done about. It’s pitiful.

I have never left anything like this for any company. I move into one of they houses. When I got there. I start noticing my kids coming up with little bites. Than notice little bugs crawling on us. My neighbor approach me one day and told me the previous people who stayed there had cats and was nasty. I advise them and said they would not be able to help in the winter time they left me and my kids without heat the worst landlord I ever had . Had my kids in a house with bed bugs did not even think to warn us save your money and rent another place save and run away from them horrible horrible

I spoke with the receptionist about a property that I wanted to rent and got approved for and she was very very rude. I could not get a clear answer from her and she was not very knowledgeable of her job. They are very unorganized at this location and do not have great customer service skills. I would not recommend renting from them ever.

TODAY IS FRIDAY THE 10 FEB 2017 AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED A PHONE CALL. We recently were interested in a home. Came into the rental office to check the key out only to find out an application was just approved. The people approved were not sure they were going to take it. I was trying to contemplate what to do and called the co-applicant in front of the 2 office staff. I was going to put my application in because that was the amount of cash in my hand and add the co-applicant on later to be the on the waiting list. I was still on the phone when one of the office staff offered to take my name and number and told me they would contact me as soon as they knew about the first coupleAnd we would be next in line and wouldn’t take any applications before giving us the chance to do so. Carrie in the office did call me before lunch to offer to check the key out to us to take a look. I told her that wasn’t necessary that I was going online to apply right then, in which I did. We get a call back around 4 saying right before our application was submitted (which was a matter of less than 10 minutes after I hung up telling her I was applying right then) that another application came in right before ours and they were processing that one first. Just the blatant lie alone when I was standing in the office willing to complete the application on the spot to secure this home is unprofessional and disrespectful. I will not do business with this company ever. I’m in the property management business and plan to spread the word. YOU SHOULD NEVER MAKE A PROMISE YOU CANT OR DONT INTEND TO KEEP!!! Bad business!! Shame on you.

Worst Realtor Ive been in contact with.. their company is very racist and judgmental. Ill never rent from them again or even consider buying a home..constant negative reviews and if you arent their family or one of them 9/10 you will be treated differently...in some way, when it comes to app fee. Renting a key to view property.. Staying updated on the status of your app and no communication...and as you see, there are way more people with the same issues.. nothing good comes with them til your lease is over and youre finally free from there.

So first off left me start off by saying this management company are a bunch of hypercritics. I dont recommend this Management company to absolutely no one. Theyre only about money and not ensuring that the Tenants are satisfied only the Owners. The staff isnt knowledgeable. They dont abide by the contract that they expect you as the tenant to do. The home that I chose Ive been in for a month and the Refrigerator and Dishwasher doesnt work. The draws in the fridge has tape holding them together and the Owner of the homes are worst than the management company. I also had 4 low batteries in my smoke dectors after moving in along with 12 missing Light Bulbs. Keep in mind though according to your lease /contract before moving out you must have all lights and smoke dectors squared away. I also had Trash Debris in my home inside and outside that according to the lease Ill be charge for if I leave it in the home. They do not do a proper move in or move out inspection because if they do then me as a new Tenant would not have experience none of this frustration and to this day my Dishwasher still doesnt work. I have a 2 car garage but one key fob and still waiting for the replacement of the draws for the fridge. My food is piled on top of each other because the draws completely collapse. Worst management company I have dealt with and its shame how they treat people let alone Vets.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE. This business is terrible , the workers are very rude . Me and my girlfriend came in on an Thursday and applied for a place . The lady in the front office said she will submit the application and get back to us , that was a lie because on Friday my girlfriend called to check on the status of the application and the lady told us she was not going to submit it due to the check stubs not being submitted , so for one they was not going to bother and tell us that until the last minute . Or better yet not tell us at all . (We submitted 40 dollars for the application REMEMBER THIS) . So we submitted our pay check stubs that were enough . The application gets submitted , they first said it would be approved on Monday , which was a lie by the way , then came back and said Tuesday , but we called today which is Monday May 7th 2018 , and early in the morning which was around 9:30 AM , We asked the lady will we get approved and will we know by today , she said yes it looks good and you will be approved. Note they said they would call us back to tell us . Hours go by till around 4:00 PM we call back cause we get no word , Then she tells us an hour before they close , and the day our lease is up , that No we are not getting approved due to a repo , Well on our credit there is no repo or anything , the lady did not approve us and we waited 5 days for an approval , that they said would take no longer than a day . The company has no remorse for their actions . The workers were rude and hung up in our face multiple times . They are lists , They ripped us off our 40 dollars for the application , and didnt give us our money back . This company is scamming people for a quick buck of 40 dollars , they seem sweet but they are not . They gave no heads up and did not care that they left us high and dry . Dont worry , there will be flyers posted all around the city stating what I posted here , and I will tell everyone NOT TO GO TO FLOURNOY AND CALHOUN for any property . And if they delete this post , I will screenshot and repost . This will not end until we have our justice . FLOURNOY AND CALHOUN are a bunch of scammers , and people who do not care for the people , I will have signs , flyers , Instagram , Snapchat , Facebook , and any way I can use to get this message out. So I rented from this business and paid my rent every month for two years. I paid my rent either one to two days early (never late, not one time!) I am the type that takes pride in where I live and Kept it like my own. When I moved out they kept over half my deposit (725) saying that the lawn needed mowed so they charged me 163 dollars to mow the yard almost two weeks after I moved out..on top of that they took money cause two light bulbs were burnt out (40 dollars)and among other petty things but when my wife and I moved in we spent 8 hrs cleaning the place top to bottom and thats being generous. This is completely outrageous! I left the state thinking we were on good terms with this place and they totally stabbed us in the back. Very disappointed with flournoy & Calhoun realtors . Also before you rent read reviews I did just recently and please notice its all the land lords that give positive reviews because this company is all about scamming customers to make a buck!! Military beware they take advantage!

Called before coming to pick up the key . The lady I spoke with told me that I could come to see the house so I went over immediately . I get there and somebody has already come to get the key. Then she tells me that they are going to stop checking out keys in twenty minutes. I either way I was not going to get to see the rental . The trip to Flournoy & Calhoun was a waste of my time. I will not be renting from them EVER! I believe that they are racist towards black people

Called for information and they stated the rent was 15 more. Even though they had it listed for the one price. That was stupid and unprofessional...

Staff couldnt answer simple questions about a rental.

Let me say I I used to live in a home flournoy & Calhoun took over I they were good people to deal with the will work with anyone willing to meet them halfway the ladie at the one on winton road whos name is Kaneesha Jarris is understanding and professional at her job and took good care of me. thx flournoy and Calhoun for making life a little easier

Do not move here. I am in the military and got orders to leave to Texas. I verbally told the staff and they made it very difficult for me. Lying and saying they called my chain of command which is what Keenesha said. If you are military stay away and listen to the other comments saying the same thing.

I have had the misfortune of renting under this company twice in the last 10 years. There wont be a third time. Ever. They allowed unescorted prospective tenants for another house have keys to my home. It took their lowest bidder contractors a month to do a 1 day repair job and their plumbers ruined the rug in my living room by cutting shower stall materials in the floor and didnt clean up before they left. They are proud to say they manage over 1,000 properties in this area.Their office staff cannot keep even track of each other. (And it is a small office). Lastly, they allowed unsafe living conditions to persist - both criminal and physical dangers - without heeding our protests. In short, its all about the money to them: They take yours and thats it.

The Manager plus other office employees are really lazy and has attitude problems. How can u have people like this represent the business?

I would definitely say that its a good place to rent or own from...but some of the staff are rude and disrespectful..i called recently to ask a question...and the lady was rude she had an attitude like she didnt want to be bothered..and im like but youre at work, and you work in customer service😕

Don’t do it. Landlords don’t do it. I see them eventually shutting down, there is no way that this company can stay open with the type of customer service that they provide and they way they treat people.
