I booked this company for a birthday party. From the description of their party services and the woman I talked to when booking, I was told that the girls would receive nail polish, get sheer shimmery make up that was age appropriate, a braided hairstyle with colored extenstion, and the add ons. We arrived about 5 minutes early only to have to wait 25 minutes after the time our party was supposed to start. They rushed through the nails- it was all over the girls hands, the make up was applied with a q-tip and was neon they looked like Mimi from the Drew Carey Show. The hairstyle was 4 twists and either a ponytail or bun, which promptly came undone. They rushed them through their glitter tattoos...even messing them up. They did not let the girls themselves do the creation station. The lotion they did get turned their skin green. My daughter was miserable by the end. She sat in the cake room and apologized to her friends. Absolutely NOT worth the money. Should be out of business.

My daughter and our friends loves having her birthday party here. It was definitely a hit. Everyone was very helpful and did such a good job keeping the girls entertained. It was a stress free party for me because they took care of everything. Thank you so much ladies.

Absolutely amazing! My niece had an awesome birthday! The ladies at Sweet and Sassy made sure my niece and her friend were treated like princesses. They danced with girls and made them feel special! We had an appointment that we booked a month out to have my daughter’s ears pierced. They call me exactly 1 hour before our appointment to cancel. We were already on our way. Wanted us to come another day. I explained I took the day off of work and had this planned for a month. This ruined my daughter’s day that she has been a little nervous about. The girl was very inconsiderate on the phone. After talking to other people, I guess Sweet and Sassy is known for this type of bad business. We will never go to this place!

My daughter got a haircut here. It was ok. I had to point out that the first cut wasn’t even. They put nearly no effort into the blow dry.The place was nice, my daughter was happy but it’s def a kids level salon.

My daughter had ballet pictures last night, and I suck at doing anything hair related on her. The woman who did her braid was very sweet and kind, my daughter also had makeup and nails done as well with Daria. Daria is so sweet and wonderful, and my daughter loved her very much, and called her “the rainbow girl”. I promise if you book with Daria you’ll be in for a wonderful experience.

My daughter received her Mani/pedi her and she had a blast! She picked out her own nail colors for both her feet and hands. The young lady that provided the service was great and really patient. Great experience and they followed the CDC covid-19 guidelines.

I take my nieces here for birthdays and girls pamper days, and they love it. Once they are finished with hair and make up, they can walk the stage with their favorite music for pictures. Im sad they took away the pink limo, but the service is always friendly.

I took my 3 years old and my 6 years old daughter to this place for a nice treat for their birthdays. unfortunately the girl who was performing the service on them was very very unprofessional. She told my three years old daughter to sit still so I don’t have to fix your nails for the millionth time with a nasty attitude While I was standing right there. I let it go because I didn’t want to Rowan Service for my daughters. But she kept going on with her attitude at the end I asked to speak to a manager but the manager wasn’t there. The Other girl name Emma who was there after I explain to her what happened She Offered to take over the service so I agree. Emma was wonderful. But it’s still very disappointed that I had to deal with this situation. Hopefully it can be fixed soon so you guys don’t have to lose any more business.

Such a great concept for kids, unfortunately its very dirty inside and the workers are very unprofessional. It can be very pricey and its such a unique experience that it should be worth the price.

My daughter and her friend went there for a makeover for her friends bday. The stylist was nice but the place was run down and dirty. The girl at the desk was not helpful and didn’t look happy to be there at all. Save your money and do makeovers at home. I wouldn’t take my daughter here again.

There was only one person in the store except for the stylist..I went in and asked if they could do a pedicure for my daughter and she said no they were booked. looked very run down and definitely not glamorous like the sweet and sassy that it used to be.

We had a gift certificate from my daughters birthday, so we wanted to surprise her today by letting her pick out some fun things. Upon checkout we were told they no longer honor gift certificates because they are under new ownership and management. She didnt even offer a discount. She said they just opened this week since March. Not our fault, why would they not honor a $25 for a little girl? Unprofessional and disappointing. If it wasnt for our daughter and her being with us, I would have put everything back and not spent a dime there!

What a delightful, magical place for children!!! Reasonable prices for lifes special events. Our attendants were Kelly and Jenny: both displayed animation and enthusiasm toward our child- offering choices and listening to the child.Prior to our arrival, we had a challenging day, child was nearly emotionally spent however, upon reaching S&S, said child perked up AND stylists empathy and joy SAVED THE DAY!Thanks for helping us have a BEAUTIFUL PHOTOSHOOT and wonderful BIRTHDAY!

We were rushed by the ladies through the process. They did not even give my niece time for her nails to dry after they painted them. They immediately wanted her to get up and move to the next station. it was very rushed the whole experience and they were too busy trying to hurry to get to the next person. Very overpriced in my opinion for being rushed through whats supposed to be a pampering Beauty experience for a young girl. Also the Tiara she was given was very cheap considering how costly the experience was. I think the only good part of the experience was how pretty her hair looked after it actually got done everything else was rushed an extremely overpriced for the experience and the quality of the Tiara the nail polish in the experience overall as a whole.

Im pretty sure we had the Its My Birthday Package (dont quote me on that) and my 5 year old daughter had an absolute blast. Emma was the one who took care of her. She was super fun, kind, and made the overall experience extremely pleasant. They also pierced her ears (I LOVE that they do both at the same time). Another accomplishment on Daddy-Daughter day! My girls love draining my funds coming to this one of a kind experience 🤣. I give them my credit card and just laugh as they have a good time being little ladies buying toys and making lipgloss. Next stop is cheesecake factory then Im taking a nap..lol whew!

My daughter had a great time. She got her first hair cut (trim) and a mini manicure. They have a little walkway she had all to herself with her song choice. Very cute place.

Avoid at all costs. Not only are their staff unsanitary and untrained for ear piercing services, their online and in-store appointment booking is a joke. One appointment our stylist wasn’t even there, and the next they booked it and when we got there they claimed they did not have an appointment for us on the books at all. Run far, run fast, give your money to a REPUTABLE salon.

This place was horrible, they pulled my childs hair when moved . Had a very rood tone of voice didnt let her pick a color for her nails, and was nasty . it was a wast, my father was so unhappy he is trying to get it shut down

We came as a walk in for our daughters 3rd birthday. We didnt make an appointment because we failed to realize there are still some schools on spring break. They didnt have an opening for 45 mins and we couldnt wait that long. Jenny took it upon herself to make room for us and take care of my little one and made her whole day. She did a fabulous job and went above and beyond for her. We could not have handpicked a sweeter person to help us out! THANK YOU!!

We have been to this location before for a birthday party and it was so much fun for our daughter. We decided to bring her back for her first haircut. We worked with Kelley who was amazing! So sweet and did such an amazing job on her hair. We will definitely be back for her haircuts in the future.

I brought my 3 year old daughter here for the first time for a cut and I was not satisfied at all. Her hair looked fine at first and then I asked if she would cut it a little shorter. I was standing on the right side of my daughter so I didn’t have a good view of the other side. She asked if she could put a braid in her hair and of course I said yes so she proceeded to braid the left side. Later that evening I took the braid out and the left side of her hair was noticeably shorter than the right side. I am very upset because this was her first official cut. Now I don’t want to get it fixed because I’m afraid to cut it even shorter. Will not be returning. Sorry not sorry. 😑

Terrible service

My daughter was attending a slumber birthday party, which was supposed to have a surprise pick up from the Sweet and Sassy limo at 11:35. The birthday girls mother contacted the store at 11:20 for confirmation and then at 11:39; almost 5 minutes AFTER the scheduled pick up time we were notified of the limo needing repair... which left us to try to figure out how to get 6 girls from the hotel to the mall for their appointment time.Incredibly disappointing how this was handled and the lack of notification. I would expect much more from a salon specializing in making children’s birthday experience special.

Went here for my daughter’s 6th birthday. Her and her sister did the diva for a day and my 6 year old had her ears pierced. It was such a great experience for them! They loved it! My only regret is not coming here sooner. The prices were great and the people were wonderful!

My daughter loves getting her haircut and nails done at this location. They do a fantastic job with her hair. Plus, they always make her feel better about herself.Customer service can be a little spotty! On a recent visit, they were great and took my information over the phone since I couldn’t be there with her. However, I waited on the phone on hold for 10 minutes.Still, a very good place to go with your daughter.

Took my daughters to sweet and sassy with all of her friends for her birthday. Wonderful place! All of the workers were so amazing to my girls, they had such an amazing time and didnt want to leave. The haircut was perfect, the girls loved all the bows and glitter. Wonderful place and would certainly recommend to any other moms who want a trustworthy, fun place to take their children!

I have been taking my girls to Sweet and Sassy for years! They love this place! Jenny does a great job cutting their hair and always goes the extra mile when styling. I took my daughter here about a month ago and she had an incredible experience. Bethany was her stylist and she was super friendly and made my daughter feel so special. She finished up the cut with an awesome braid. Cant wait for our next appointment.

My first visit here a couple years ago was fantastic, but most recently I was not impressed. The price I paid to have my childrens hair cut was way too high for what they got. I could have done the same thing for free at home. The girl who cut my sons hair was grabbing and forcing his head in certain directions, which only made my son cry harder (he hates hair cuts to begin with). She could have been more patient and personable, but instead focused on a quick cut to get him in and out. The lollipops used to be cute and special, but they handed out dumdums most recently. I understand you pay for the experience as well as the service, but I probably will not be back. It just isnt worth it.

My daughter, Lily-Anna, and I went in to the Columbus location to have a mommy daughter day. Upon entering the store I asked the first associate if they would do hair cuts on a walk in basis. The associate said she wasn’t sure and told me to go wait at the register. Which was confusing considering the set up of the location. When my daughter and I got to the registers we had to wait at least 5-8 minutes before being acknowledged. It seemed the staff avoided the registers when at all possible. We were not the only clients standing waiting for assistance. Once an associate did come to the register, (for the purpose of explaining the associate, since she didn’t provide her name.) She was a larger set blonde female roughly 240 pounds and 5’6 wearing a denim shirt. The associate seemed very inconvenienced and when trying to inquire about the “sweet cut” for my daughter she cut me off to tell me she could cut my little boys hair but it would have to be quick. I corrected her and informed her that my almost 5 year old daughter is a girl, and that we wanted a “sweet cut” experience. She continued to be rude and said she could do a boy cut and that is it. This upset my daughter very much. She is developmentally delayed, so her speech is very hard to understand, and is deaf so she has hearing aids in both ears. Hence why she has short hair, and was probably mistaken as a boy. Although was wearing a dress, sparkle leggings, and eyeshadow. My daughter was extremely upset with the attitude of the associate and ended up spending the majority of the afternoon crying and feeling really self conscious about her short hair and hearing aids. Luckily we were able to continue to walk around the mall and we were able to get her ears pierced. After two hours or so we were able to calm her down my husband took her back into the store to confront the associate, she had left for the day but my husband was able to speak directly with the manager. She was extremely understanding and offered some complimentary services for my daughter. Paige was the associate that provided the complimentary services and she was amazing with Lily-Anna. Although I am extremely disappointed in the initial experience we had encountered the management team went above and beyond to make things right!

My daughter was on cloud 9 here! The hair stylist was very kind to her and did a great job cutting her hair. She loved the pretty braid and glitter stamp. We will definitely be back.

I took my daughter and a friend for hair and makeup for her birthday and the girls had a great time! They looked so adorable when they were done.

I would leave no starts if I could. Went to the Polaris location where I thought it would be a good idea to let my daughter get her hair cut. One in a half inches ended up being three in a half inches which isnt even the worst part. My daughter hair is chopping and very on even. The prices sweet and sassy charges you would think they would make sure their staff can actually cut hair. Now I will have to get even more hair cut to fix what an untalented sweet and sassy employee messes up. Do not go here and get hair cuts!! They will mess up your babies hair.

Great location for salon/beauty services for girls. My kids love the added details that come with a cut - fancy braids, hair glitter, and bows. Perfect for the 5-8 year old age range.

I liked it and so did the kids. We had a smaller package a mini make over for around $25 per child. It included a hair up do. Glitter hair spray and just polish and a sucker. It was nice and the staff made it fun. I was a bit concerned about the makeup and brushes they used being unsanitary. It appered the hair brushes were kept in a bin where they were used on each girl. It made me a bit uncomfortable. Other then that it was fun just make sure we are cleaning our make up pallets(spray with alcohol, as they use disposable applicators) and hair brushes between each customer!:)

My daughter had a blast. The other dads and I left and found a watering hole.

We got our 6-year-olds hair done at this place today and had an absolutely awful experience. The stylist was rude and impatient, both towards me and our child. We were late by about 5-7 minutes and instead of telling us that they would not be able to provide the entire service in the remainder of the time, she took my daughter in and starting trimming her hair. Her tone towards my daughter was abrasive and she rushed through the whole appointment. At the end, she refused to blow dry her hair out and said her next appointment was already there. I dont believe I have anyone display such obnoxious and rude behavior towards a customer, let alone a child. I will also be taking this complaint to the BBB and making sure that they dont repeat this with another customer. If you cant be polite and patient with kids, please dont work at a place that caters exclusively to little kids. Salons are running behind all the time and if you are charging for the full service, you better provide the full service. In full disclosure, at the end, they did try to offer a discount and have someone blow her hair out, but after this terrible experience, I did not want to spend another minute there. I am absolutely never going back to this place.

I took my daughter and 2 of her friends to Sweet and Sassys for mani-pedis for their birthdays. I paid $98 for them to get their nails polished, fingernails filed a very little bit, and for lotion to be rubbed on their feet. Oh, and they also got a toe ring and a glitter heart on their cheeks. I was very disappointed when the fingernail polish started coming off the next day. I was told that it would take 45 minutes for the full service, but I do not know if it even took 30. To say that we were extremely unhappy, would be an understatement. I will choose a different place the next time.

I went for an interview for a job here and was offered the position on the spot. It was to drive the limo. They didnt even ask to see my ID, let alone bother to run an MVR or background check. I even asked if she wanted to see my ID and she said theyd look at it when I came to work. I found that very alarming, seeing as how they work with children. I sure wouldnt plan my nieces or goddaughters party here knowing this information.

Always an awesome experience for my daughter! She comes as a special treat for a manicure and pedicure about twice a year and always looks forward to it!

My niece and her friends were going to the limo while walking there the limo just left. I called and complained about this problem. Sweet and Sassy just decided to deny and ignore the situation. This was a awful, most ridiculous thing that happened. Way to ruin a girls birthday.

Went there for the first time to get our daughters hair cut into a bob. The stylist was amazing, the cut turned out perfect.

Took my daughter here for her 5th birthday for a cut and simple makeup. It was her first time and she LOVED it! From a child’s perspective, it was amazing. She loves all things girly and this didn’t disappoint. I have 2 complaints. First and most importantly, the hairdresser didn’t say more than 10 words to my daughter and had zero excitement about the whole thing. My mother and I had to provide all the enthusiasm. It was a weekday morning appointment so it wasn’t that she was rushed or busy, she just didn’t seem to care at all that she was involved in a little girl’s special day. When the time came for us to pay and tip, she suddenly started speaking to my daughter. It was weird and a little uncomfortable. Secondly, we bought my daughter a ring on the way out and it broke within 30 minutes. It was only $4 so that’s not a big deal but the disappointment sucked. I’ve tried to hot glue and superglue the butterfly back on but it hasn’t worked. Luckily she got some other gifts to distract her. Again, not a super big deal but worth mentioning. Overall, I don’t think the lack of enthusiasm is a common experience so we will be back- I know many moms who swear by Sweet and Sassy!

This is the only place I can get my autistic daughter to have her haircut. No matter who I get they have always been very understanding with her. My other two daughters will be having a birthday party there soon! Everyone is really excited for the pink limo!!!!

I recently had a party at Sweet and Sassy, they were very accommodating. The staff helped us carry in gifts, cake and then helped us set it all up! The kids absolutely had a blast and left with updos ALL kinds of different color nail polish and makeup! So fun, i will definitely be back.

I was happy with up do for my daughters dance picture. They advertise that they do makeup but I wasnt thrilled with the end result. I ended up taking it off and redoing it myself.

Makeup is BASIC. They do pierce ears...nice selection.
