Minor issue with scheduling services due to short staffing but they made it right and gave me a great deal on 4 brand new tires in the process. Highly recommend!

Gave these dudes chance after chance. And they keep messing up a simple oil change. First they didnt screw my oil filter back on. So i had to go back up there so they could tighten it. Then the 2nd oil change they spilled oil all on my drip pan. They did that twice. I still went back after that. Then this time they spilled oil all over my engine. And didnt think i would look underneath my hood. It was even on my wipe blades. They said they would degrease it for me. These jokers used some Windex and paper towels. Then after spilling oil all on my engine and using Windex to try to clean it the tech going to say. I think you have a oil leak. I said or maybe its the oil and the Windex your using thats dripping everywhere. Some real bright technicians i tell you. Never will i ever take my car back there. Done.

Horrible service, I made an appointment to replace my tires since there was a black friday deal and run a diagnostic. The man told me that he would get it done by the end of the day and gave me price and everything, so I left my car in the morning. When I get there he tells me he did not have the tires I wanted in stock and made the lame excuse that he was short staffed, which is definitely something he could have told me in the morning. He tried to sell me some more expensive tires, a deal I had to refuse. Felt completely manipulated and lied to.

Very disappointed, couldnt keep appointment, because no mechanic showed up for work,so I went to Firestone.

We had a real problem getting the parts. Ended up just doing it myself.

I was told on the phone it was gonna cost me $380 dollars to replace 1 brake pad. JUST ONE PAD!!! That might I add costs only $35 at autozone. So I eill not be taking my car to these gougers. Me and youtube got this one 👌🏼

This place is no longer an auto parts store as Google categories claims. At some point I must have missed when they walled off half of their stores, removed all accessories and parts, and according to their cashier they can seeking to rent out the excess store space. Ive never heard great reviews of their auto services. Now they dont have the one thing they were useful for.

After recently moving to Columbus and leaving my personal car people I was nervous to find someone I could trust! I will drive the extra couple miles to go to this pep boys over the one closer to my home. They have been so helpful, kind and most importantly HONEST. They look for the best deals for you as well!

The retail section of this store is closing in March 40% off most items, now. The staff was friendly. Needed turnsignal bulb changed, told the guy decide to let them, do it, cause last time was $20 something. After bulb was put in, I about freaked out $39.97 was the cost. Total sticker shock. Thats quite high for 1 bulb to be put in. Told me bulb was $24.??. Might have been nice to have known this inadvance.I have been doing business with Pep Boys for over 30 years, 1st in Calif. Then the location on Morse Rd, this was the first time did business with this location. Guess it equalled out since I got Rain-x windshield wipers on my other car after that and got 40% off the price of windshield wipers.

Best customer service in town. And I for one love the Halloween decorations. Thank you for taking AutoCare and making my life so much easier.

New tires for a great price

Made an appt for 2:30 transmission fluid flush. Arrived for my appt only to be told oh. we dont have the equipment for that he couldnt give an answer as to why they confirmed the appt.

Did get work done here, but giving 4 stars due to their courtesy and honesty. They let me know that they did not have the expertise to repair my vehicle and recommended I go elsewhere. It was very much appreciated! Next repair needed I will be going to this location

Horrible customer service! I recently went there to try and get a conventional oil change for my car that has high mileage. The lady at the desk told me that she cant give me a conventional oil change because she supposedly is unable to change it on their computer. This is very convenient considering that I went there just a few months before (and still have the invoice) with the same high mileage car and got a conventional oil change with no problems. Another time, I caught another person there trying to charge me an additional 20.00 for a tire when it was covered under their road hazard warranty. When I contacted their customer service number, all they did was call the store which of course the employees denied doing anything wrong. I used to be a regular customer of this location but since all they want to do is cheat and lie to their customers then I will not be back

This Pep Boys is the best. Their staff is kind, courteous, and friendly. Theyre very knowledgeable in their profession, and dont try to swindle you like other shops do with unnecessary services. I have all maintenance for both vehicles done here. Highly recommended.

I wont take my car here again. Ive always taken it here but the level of customer service has really dropped off. Twice Ive made appointments online and when I take the car in they have no idea why Im there and the services I scheduled arent available. Seriously, what is the problem? Its 2018, your company should be able to handle online scheduling efficiently. If I schedule exhaust repair (which is an available option) and make arrangements to leave my car there to have it fixed, I shouldnt show up and be told you dont do exhaust systems. How about a phone call to let me know before I go to the trouble? Train your employees that work at the service desk. Nothing but a hassle and waste of time to go here. Ill go somewhere else and you should too.

Terrible customer service and Over priced. They gave me a rewards card to get coupons for services but then won’t except the coupons. The guy (usually on register every time I’ve been) Always has excuse why he can’t take the coupon when it is CLEARLY valid (I’ve tried 3 times). Not to mention that when I took my 4cyl. Kia Rio to get an alignment, they charged me a $100 and IT WAS STILL MESSED UP. I do not recommend wasting your time or hard earned money at this place.

Been to this location twice.Both times, I was satisfied. It didnt take forever to find someone who could help me although they were very busy. Each time, the staff that helped me seemed to be very well educated, trained & versed on all of their store products & locations of their products. Had no problem immediately locating any products I needed. Very quick on their feet with their computer systems (cant say the same for other auto shops who use computer software to guide them).The store was clean. The lady who helped me the last time knew her stuff. I went back a 2nd time b/c I was pleased the 1st time. And if I ever need auto service/info again, Id pick this location every time.Good shop/store.

I had a wheel hub assembly replaced on my vehicle at this Pep Boys location. They were courteous and did an excellent job and did that job in a relatively quick amount of time considering the labor involved. I decided to hang out in the waiting room while they did the job. They did a great job of keeping me updated on the progress. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone in need of car maintenance.

Called to make appointment, over an hr on hold. After making appointment called the day before to confirm ... After being on hold for another hr gave up.

This Pep Boys location was affordable, kind, and quick. Jim, the manager, was extremely helpful and was willing to talk me through the entire process. I will definitely be going back to this garage for any other auto issues.

The assistant manager is a waste of payroll and rude. Unfortunately after spending over a grand i have the realization customer service skills are what he is lacking. The manager looks rough and always busy but has stepped up to provide great service and knowledgeable.

The mechanics are unable to figure out why my TPMS light is not giving a signal. They keep telling me to come back until one of the mechanics can figure it out. It will be my third day that i have to go back until they figure out a solution.Kris was helpful.

My first time using pep boys or lets say first time try to use them and it will be last because first the guy who was talking my info he didnt look like he know what he doing.he didnt know what kind of oil recommended for my car so I have to go out to the car and bring my manual back in and read it for him to see what kind he should put on the receipt.second they told me it will ready in 1 hour so when I went there to pick it up they said that they havent even move it inside to work on it so I jus took my keys and left .all that for a simple oil change.

I run a service company here in Columbus. I have a fleet of vehicles that I have to keep on the road. A down vehicle costs me money. I have been using PepBoys on S. Hamilton for a couple of years now, and Max the Manager has always come through for me. They always go above and beyond my expectations. Great bunch of guys (and gals) to do business with.

Went to get a battery. Store associate had me sit there for 30 mins before adjusting the price to Match with online pricing. It was simply frustrating to see what could have been done from getgo had to spend so much time to get it done. Service other wise was good

I got there at 7:20pm today.When I walked in the tire service employee was sitting down watching TV. He asked me what I needed. I told him I either needed a tire repaired or a new tire. He said let me look at your tire. We walked out to my car I showed him the tire and he proceeded to tell me he didnt have time to fix my tire. Then he said he couldnt fix it anyways because the damage was on the wall of the tire. So I said ok then Ill purchase a new tire. He said oh I dont have time to do that. Then he actually told me to go to Wal-Mart !!! They had actually closed at 7pm along with every other tire repair shop which is why I was at pep boys. After all of this was said and done I shouldve listened to my dad who told me 15years ago to never go to pep boys. Better believe I never will again!! Wal-Mart here I come tomorrow morning!!!!And no Im not going to email you a detailed statement about my visit when you just read what happened when I went to the pep boys on Hamilton Rd!! How annoying..How about you do something about it like reprimand the employees....all these people on here complaining cant be making this stuff up. Stop wasting our time and DO SOMETHING!!!!!

Both ladies were awesome with Customer service and very knowledgeable.

Took my van in because my belt came off and they said they had to replace the wheel assembly for belt. They charged me over 400 dollars to do this and it was never changed so they lied. My belt has fallen off 5 different times because they didnt fix what they was supposed to fix. But can take my money as if they did!!! Dont go to this one. They will take your money and not fix your vehicle.

I dont think Ill be coming here again. I went in to get two of my front braked fixed and the cost was astronomical. On top of that, they didnt even do the job right because they started creaking and squeaking the morning after and my steering wheel violently shook on the highway as if a wheel was about to come off and its never done that until AFTER I got serviced here. The staff is pretty courteous and friendly, which is why it gets a star at least, but they dont take responsibility for what theyve done, they always seem to be understaffed, behind schedule, and cant do appointments on time, and they WILL take advantage of you if youre not careful.

Was driving through Ohio and popped a tire.This was the only place that was open on a Sunday during the evening. Came there and talked to assistant manager Kris. He told me that it would take 2 hrs to get my new tire done. Actually took 40 minutes to get everything done. Im greatly satisfied and recommend this place to anyone that has tire related problems

The people I spoke with was great people very nice shame they r going out of business I was able to get my mother in law a floor consule for her van for Christmas.

Was looking for specific tires- found on web-Made appointment 1 week in advance- 4 tires and an oil change - drove to this Pep Boys-arrived on time - was told only 1 mechanic and too busy, must reschedule- rescheduled- called Discount Tire- had to order tires (hard to find in this area)- installed and saved $90. I will tell everyone I know not to go here. And BTW Pepboys-dont bother with that weak auto response.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars or even less actually. Went there for a tire rotation and wheel balance, not only did my tires get worse after taking it here, they also misplaced my wheel lock key.When I called to inquire about it they kept giving me the runaround. They didnt bother offering an apology for misplacing such an important part of my vehicle. They are crooks.Save your time and money, do not take your vehicle to this shop.

Used to be good but terrible now.Theyve my car for almost 6 hours, did ONE of the 3 things I asked them to, which was a simple diag of my wipers, service on my breaks, and oil change. They only did the diag, the guys break tech left without doing ANYTHING to my car. And they havent even done the oil change yet. Ridiculous. Never going back.

Ok so I paid $37 for a winter package and they did not do everything on the check list...they only stated I needed a new battery...I asked about the other things and they sad everything else was fine...so I specifically asked about my tire pressure and the said they checked and adjusted...that was not true my tires still need air but the paper stated ot was done and that wasnt the truth...so now I dont believe they check anything but the battery and Im not sure if the wiper blades were replaced...I called to ask what was included in the winter package and that everything wasnt done...I was told to just bring it back and I wouldnt be charged...lol thanks anyway

VERY poor service department. Had an oil change done. They put in the WRONG oil. Had new tires installed. 2 of the tires were installed wrong. Had the the inner walls facing out. Had a complete brake job done. They failed to service the right rear caliper properly and the caliper failed. Came back and they had to replace the NEW rotor, premium ceramic pad, and caliper...ALL AT MY COST. Really? I am blown away by the extremely poor, unprofessional service. They cant do oil changes right. They cant install tires right. They cant install brakes right. What can they do? I know...They can give you the run around when you have an appointment. They asked me to come back another day. Really? Stay away from this service center at all cost.

This used to be one of my favorite places to go when they first opened up now you walk in there and its like the Wild Wild West it takes anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes to basically make a purchase let alone if you had a question not saying its a bad place but if youre a very patient person and youre not in a rush to get your car fixed as soon as possible its a good place to go to get your parts

I got oil changed two weeks ago. However when I got in my car yesterday. Meter said change oil. I made appt somewhere else but happened to look at mileage on paper work from pep boys and Id only drove 1000 miles. Pep didnt reset oil life which is suppose to be done at oil change. Then when I went back . He said oil life at 100% even though Id driven it over a thousand miles. Im not going back. To expensive to let them half do the job

Dropped by car off at 6:30 for an oil change and pre-paid and they said they could get it finished before they closed and would call me. Never called me that evening or the same day to follow up with me.Asked them to check low air pressure in front left tire and saw them write it down on the service request. Not only was it not looked at or any advice given to me on how to fix it (reoccurring issue), they didnt even fill it!!!!Never going back.
