I went in for a manicure and they barely even shaped my nails, results were sloppy, and it looks ugly. They also gave me an upcharge service without telling me, and were rude when I questioned them about it at check out. Just ugly and overpriced and Im disappointed.

This is my first time doing acrylic nails. It is ok but i was expecting more. I have requested squoval shape and this is how it is done.

They do a really nice job and they are consistent even though you may not have the same technician.

My grandma and I came here today to have pedicures and it was the best we had ever had. They took there time and never made it feel rushed. Kim and Sarah talked to us and we laughed and had a good time. Very clean establishment. Everything is sterilized or single use and they have a dispensary with no cross contamination.Very professional and our nails look beautiful.

I came in with a bridal party after making a same day appointment. They got all six of us taken care of with manicures, pedicures, nail color changes, and an eyebrow wax. This place is AWESOME, CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL, and they do QUALITY WORK.

The appointment was not on-time, they schedule many people at the same time and then you sit and wait for them to finish with others. This is the only gel manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had that has cracked from regular wear and tear which is the point of getting gel. I had 3 total nails crack with gel. The gel manicure looked grown out within one day, they didn’t go to the cuticle. My toenails for the pedicure were cut unevenly. DONT waste your money.

UPDATE: I went again forgetting I had a bad experience last time and it happened again, knocking my review down another star. Pics are from most recent trip. I asked for a manicure and he did just the dip. So now I have ugly nails with a decent dip. When I asked about it he was annoyed. He also did half the amount of powder on one hand than the other so the ombré is uneven. I think it was because they were past close, but I made an appointment. If it wasn’t going to fit in that time slot they shouldn’t have given me that appointment. Plus I asked for white on bottom.. I’m not going back.It’s hit or miss. The first experience was phenomenal. He took care of me quickly and for once I didn’t feel like I wasted my money on a bad manicure.The second time with a different guy (Don maybe?) was sloppy. Certain fingers look chunky, and he sanded down my skin and I left with a blood finger. And he filed my nails so close to my skin it it’s painful to touch. My nails aren’t that short so not a me problem. I’d go back for the others, but I think I’d try to avoid him.

I was looking for nail salons which use an “autoclave”. It’s used in hospitals to sterilize metal implements. However, I was disappointed when I never saw them wipe down chairs in between clients. I guess everything is really back to normal. They just leave you sitting with no direction after your service is complete. The pedicure was just okay. I hate those massage chairs. They are so painful. I normally avoid these types of salon for this reason. No personalized treatment … NEXT.

Been here twice, first time just a manicure and it was lovely! Second time with my sister for mani/pedis. She really enjoyed hers, asked for clear polish and a jelly pedicure and didn’t receive either. I was disappointed with the quality of my pedicure, and my nails were cut too short when I requested they stay long :(

Mint nails is one of my favorite places to get a pedicure or manicure. The pedicure bowls are lined with plastic so each person gets no germs from the last person. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the quality of work is excellent.

I made an appointment with John. When I got there they passed me off to someone else who dis a mediocre job on the pedicure and I refused to let her do the manicure.Not a good experience. Do not recommend

I went on Monday to get my nail fixed and I specifically asked to have it done a certain way. The nail tech argued with me until I accepted the way he suggested. The day after my nail was still broken because he did not fix it correctly. This was a waste of money and very poor customer service.UPDATE: 12/22/20I returned for a pedicure because the owners agreed to credit me for the payment I made to get my nail fixed. I am appreciative of the customer service and willingness to accommodate the mistake. Good service overall.

This was my first time visiting this salon. I had an appoint at 5:30, arrived at 5:28. I was seated in a pedicure Chari where I sat for 30 minutes, by the time my nail nail tech came to start my pedicure. Needless to say I was a little out off. However Jamie quickly settled me down as she performed my pedicure. Toes look amazing. Then onto my gel manicure. She did an amazing job. Im very picky about my nails. She did an amazing job. I think after yrs of searching to replace my previous nail tech I finally found a new one. Looking forward to going back.

I did not have an appointment. They said no problem, five minutes. They put me in a chair when I started to leave the first time because fifteen minutes had passed. I sat until the water got cold, not once but twice. I waited 40 more minutes before giving up. On the way out the guy said sorry it didnt work out. I said why didnt you just tell me the truth. I could have scheduled and appointment and come back after running errands instead of waisting my afternoon. So disappointed. I am recommending this place only of you have an appointment.

This place for the most part was a really nice place and good services. I did like the way they did my pedicure. Only thing I had a issue with is that for my other person who got a pedicure with me as well they didn’t do all of the things included for the pedicure. Which isn’t that big of a deal but just didn’t get all that we paid for.

Very unhappy with the results on my first time here. Didnt push cuticles back. Nails size doesnt match my regular nails. Pricing was overpriced based on quote. Will surely need to go back much sooner than expected, since nails look like they already need a balance.

I always get so many compliments on how beautiful my nails look. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. The staff are friendly. The store is clean and bright, which is great! I got a gel polish - they have a good amount of colors (some mood changing ones too).

I got my first ever pedicure here. My feet were more like horse hooves than what you would find on the end of your legs. My operator was patient and kind. I walked out of there looking like Id spent big money, but in truth this facility is very nicely priced. A month later I returned to get my toes redone AND a manicure as I was going on vacation shortly and wanted to be cute getting off the plane. And I was. Mint Nails is conveniently located across the street from Graceland Shopping Center. The facility is clean but not chemical-ly smelling. The tools are individually sealed, used and then sent for sterilizing..I felt totally comfortable and was completely happy with the result of all their hard work. Even if youre a veteran at getting mani/pedis should you decide to visit Mint Nails you wont be disappointed.

I called and asked if there was a wait, they said no. I pulled up within 15mins and immediately got sat for my pedicure! Staff was very friendly & helpful. I had a lot questions because I don’t get my nails done often. They answered them all without hesitation! I got a basic pedi along with 2 acrylic toenails & a dip acrylic mani. The guy who did them didn’t like the way they looked so he started over, which took a little longer than expected, but I’m glad he got the job done right instead of just trying to rush me out! I spent about 2.5hrs there, paid about $115 for both! It’s been a week & everything looks brand new! Will definitely return!!

Good at doing nails, but very rude. I asked them if they could do letters, they said yes but when it came to it I had to wait when I was already getting my nails done for them to just start on someone else.... They letters they did ended up being very sloppy and not well done... They should have told me they could not do letters. The only good thing about this experience was they ended up not charging me for the lettering. Not because they didnt do a good job, but because they made me wait...

I had a gel polish manicure done 5 days ago which typically should last up to 2 weeks but on the 5th day my gel was lifting on all nails and both of my pinky gel polish has completely lifted off.. I called in and asked what they could do for me and the lady told me they only guaranteed their gel nails for 2 maybe 3 days at most. She said she couldn’t get me in until the next day and that would make it 6 days and I would have to pay to have them fixed. I’ve been to many other nail salons in town and they typically guarantee their gel nails at least 7-14 days. I’m aware that every nail salon has a different policy when it comes to that and i am so taken back by theirs I will not be returning. Paying for the services is not the issue but with my nails lifting that much after only 5 days should be compensated. Very disappointed in their customer service.

I have tried Many different places to get my nails done, and it is definitely the best in this neighborhood. Extremely clean compared to other nail salons. I began coming here a few months after being disgusted with the treatment and professionalism of my last nail salon which was right across from Mint Nails. I was able to get an appointment right away and was immediately greeted by friendly staff who seated me right away. As it turned out I was seated with the owner, Lana who was so attentive and kind. She advised me to take off the acrylic I had and just do the gel nails which I did. I had them before but for some reason they didnt work out. Anyway Ive been going back ever since every 2-3 wks. Ive had pedicures there as well by other staff and they did beautiful work. In addition the shop was amazingly clean and organized. The other thing I was so impressed with is the way all the implements are sterilized before and after. So you never have to worry about contamination. I noticed the last place I went didnt do that. I notice everyone who comes in there are always happy when they leave and that says a lot. When you try this place you wont go anywhere else.Joyce

Went here because my regular place had a 45 min wait. Wait time here wasnt too bad. Tech did a great job. Been less than a week and one popped off already, only reason I didnt five 5 stars. But overall clean facility, nice staff.Went back to get my nail fixed same tech fixed it, no charge. She does a really good job.. 5 stars

I have had wonderful experiences every single time, and I just cant justify going anywhere else to get my nails done now! The facility is very clean, and the staff are all very kind and thorough! Every visit has been more than worth the money I spend and I always look forward to going back.

When first opened I thought they did a really good job. Now, I don’t feel that they take their time and I feel rushed. I feel like I’ve not even had a pedicure once I leave. I drive out of my way, but will search for something a little closer to home.

I have been going to mint nails for about 7 months now. I have gotten my nails done by almost all of the different technicians there and always left feeling happy with my nails. I never once had a problem until I got Tai. The first time he did my nails they looked grown out and the gel started peeling after about a week. When I went to get them done again about a week and a half later I got Tai again. I thought I would give him another chance and explained why I was unhappy the last time. This time my nails look just as grown out and I told him that and he kept making excuses and being rude to me. After I left I sat in my car and cried before I drove home. I have never felt so upset leaving a nail salon.

My nails after a week have fell off an I need a balance already!! They charged me 45$ for regular polish an coffin nail shape!! My nails Cuticles need cut back! My nails are bending!! Worst experience ever will not be back!!!

Can’t say enough positive things about Mint Nails! Not your average salon- they go out of their way to make you happy. Owner is extremely nice and makes you feel comfortable. They put a lot of hard work into their business and it shows. Oh yes- Nails look amazing.

I wish I could put minus stars...I used to come for one nail technician. He was great. Now he is gone. I came today and got the WORST service in my life. The technician was so rude. She got upset when I told her a few things I wanted (eg dont cut the sides of my big toe nails, dont cut cuticles). When I told her that I want sparkles on one nail, her response was No, you were supposed to pick it upfront (which I actually did and all I needed was to find the number of the polish). Then she got into hardcore filing of my nails which I didnt need and asked only to slightly touch on the edges. Now my nails are all of different shapes and lengths. When I showed her one nail that was looking all the way to the side, she said that was because my nail is growing that way. When I expressed my concern with her service, she started making faces and the manager said that it was miscommunication. It was not. It was straight RUDENESS.To sum up, good luck if you get to this technician (the table said Nancy, not sure if thats her name). As for me, I will definitely never be back to this place. Anyway, first I need to get my nails grow back as they look hideous.

Had my second relaxing pedicure here. The massage is great! I tried the green tea pedicure and paraffin wax and enjoyed both.

Acrylic nails with Anna. I honestly have never had a nail tech so detail oriented! Had spa pedicures with friend on another day. Very nice. Hot towel wrap and 4 different materials, nice massage, not too rough with the skin exfoliation. Didnt pester with unwanted conversation, which I like. Tools all properly sanitized. Enjoyable experience

I must be the only person with a bad experience! I give 2 stars for the clean and friendly atmosphere, however the nail tech sucked. a week ago, I had gel nails application. the nail bed was visible as if 2 weeks have passed. Now my gel application is coming off on its own.

I’ve been to this nail salon about 4 times and I leave satisfied every time. Lee did a great job on my ombré nails that where done badly at another nail salon. Also they did a good job on my eyebrows.

Lee and Rene was great. My first time pedicure. An hour after my feet still feels like they re on cloud nine.

This is the worst place I’ve ever gone they charged me $50 for regular polish on acrylics. None of them are straight I’ve never been ripped off this so bad in five years of getting my nails done. I am so upset it looks horrible I am going somewhere else right now to get them fixed They didn’t tell me it was going to be extra to get coffin shape which looks horrible by the way.

So I treated my pregnant wife to a pedicure and decided to get one as well. It was my first ever. Why did I wait 36 years to do this? Im in the service industry and an on my feet sometimes 14 hours at a time. I dont think Ive ever felt more relaxed. 10/10 will return.

I waited over half hour to get into a chair. The service was not what I wanted it to look like when it was finished. I was there for over 2 hours. I had to go back and have my thumb repaired after only 3 days and the nail they fixed looked different than the others. To make matters worse, I paid way more than I usually do at other salons and had to drive half hour to get there.

Its a beautiful shop ,however a few of the workers made it a bad experience for me. Kim or (Kem) she gave me two different spellings. I was new to the shop and have a few questions. I completed Kem on her eyeborws and asked who had done hers ,she replied she did . I ask3d her if she ould do mine since she was my tech. She replied no and made it confusing. Nancy a nail tech was rude to my sister who asked a question to her. Kem andd Nancy started in their language and laughed . My sister told the manager how uncomfortable Nancy was rude .I had a great experience with John John and Trish! I rated a 4 because of how peaceful the shop its really peaceful.

The finished product was amazing but I had to wait 2 hours just to get in a chair and customer service wasnt that great.

Waited 30 mins b4 I got pedi. One of the guys did my pedicure. Its smudged lines not exact at the nail bed, Feel like they rush to get through all the customers. Wish I had driven to penzones

I have been going here since they opened, because very clean and everything is sanitized ,everyone is friendly and make you feel welcome. Owner is very nice. They do excellent job on mani and pedis. They also have lg selection of Polish and gels. Just cant say enough about this salon. Other salons I would get infection in my big toe. Never had that problem here. Highly recommend.
