We stayed Saturday Aug.28 for my daughters birthday. Alex at the front desk was awesome. He had great customer service and was very helpful. They have a courtyard attached to the pool where we had pizza and cake. It was my best experience at a hotel. Will definitely be going back.

Positive: The hotel was modern in design and clean. I liked it very much. I will be back. Negative: The hallway on the 3rd floor was very hot. This made the room warmer than it should have been. When I went out to the patio area in the back there was no re entry. I had to walk around to the front of the hotel to get back in.

My boyfriend & I stayed at the Marriott the end of August & had the pleasure of meeting two amazing employees who portrayed excellent customer service! A very good property, quiet, clean, pure room was nice, but not sure about the extra cost. Nice bed and bedding. Seemed short staffed. I would consider staying here again. Reasonable price, good choices nearby.

We had come here late at night because our air mattress had popped and we needed a place to stay since our camping trip was ruined. Alex at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. He was extremely kind and offered a free beverage for our struggles. Definitely a quality staff as everyone here was so friendly.

Positive: Location - easy to find - right off freeway. Wine, food, cheap gas (Sams club) nearby! Comfortable bed and clean bedding. Negative: Awkward bath set-up. Shower flooded bathroom. NO SHAMPOO. (For disabled guest,). NO SOFA as promised. Fruit froze in fridge. Patio very dirty. NO inhotel services. I won¿t be staying at a Courtyard again.

Building is not new, but its maintained well. It still gives the same feeling you get at all other Courtyard Marriott.Not as convenient as being in downtown Bloomington for IU visits, but not too far to make it inconvenient. Good to stay at when downtown hotels are all booked for Parents Weekend or the like.

Positive: No parking lot on east side of building, so the room was relatively quiet. Negative: Pool and hot tub were closed, even though the website clearly advertised them as amenities. Lighting in the room was extremely poor. Even with every light on in the room, it was still too dark to read.

The staff have been friendly and helpful during my stay. The facility is very quiet overall. Theres quite a few guests here, but Ive not actually seen anyone. My room was very clean, and the toiletries are premium. In shower dispensers for everything was an unexpected amenity. I wish more hotels did this. Large TV, windows that actually open, and theres a cool oversize chair with rolling ottoman that Im loving. Plenty of charging outlets, lighting, and storage. Microwave and mini fridge also included. My only criticism is the pool is closed, and the hot water is not what I consider hot. Minor complaints overall. Would definitely stay here again, and this is my second stay.

Very happy w/our stay! Rooms were nice and clean w/a comfy bed. Great room for the price and amenities. The only thing that was missing was there was no bath mat in the bathroom for you to step out on after showering. Thought that was odd or maybe the maid forgot to leave one. Other, than that the stay was wonderful.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two days at the beginning of may. It was good untill we noticed our room was extremely hot and wouldn’t cool even with the windows open. Tried the AC (didn’t work). However, we called the front desk and was told they were all booked so there was no changing rooms but they would reimburse us. We have yet to get that and we’ve called three times now just to be told management isn’t there or as Stacey said she would give us a call back. No call back.

Great room close to all the things we want to do. Beginning to show some age, but a comfortable room at a fair price.

We go to the counter and pay and after we pay the lady at the front desk tells us that the pool is closed. So we ended up paying for something we couldn’t use. We came mainly for the pool considering it’s a hotel. Then there was a 6 piece McNugget meal left inside one of our rooms in the desk. There was no conditioner in one of our rooms. Elevator was a mess. Just poor quality room keeping and front desk attendance. It’s a really nice hotel but they need to step it up alittle.

Poor management. Ants on the 3rd floor. Mold on ceiling tiles on first floor. Pool closed, per the signage due to covid - no it is due to maintenance issues. Rooms are not well cleaned. The dumpster area is a mess. The parking lot and common areas should be walked daily. Dirty washcloth in the stairwell for days. Side door area was a mess. The manager and assistant manager are not doing a good job managing this property. Marriott should be embarrassed!

I expected better from this chain. The TV guide didn’t work. The wall unit that controls the temp was not working properly, none of the buttons worked. Very disappointed with my stay. Room looked clean, but I found a Miller Lite bottle cap behind the trash can, makes you wonder how seriously they take cleanliness.

We stayed here about a week ago. When we got there our bath tub had not been cleaned at all there was black pubic hair everywhere. Our fridge in the room didnt work. Our room was infested with ants. Still havent gotten our deposit back called and asked about it and got cussed out. Most certainly would not recommend this place to anyone. Told them while we was there about the bugs,bath tub and fridge and they got rude about that also. I will not be back at all.

I booked this hotel for an all weekend baseball tourney for my son. For the price i would try and find something else. First of all the pool is closed and has been which thats nothing we can complain about we knew this. For the money the breakfast was not great at all. It has cereal and yogurt. For that money the weekend before we stayed in the same hotel in Seymour and got an all out breakfast with everything you could think of. Lastly they have some guys cleaning the rooms made my wife very uncomfortable they were eyeballing everywoman that came by.

Positive: Nothing special. Wasnt worth the -- PER DAY they charged my card as a security deposit. I still havent been refunded any of the 450.00 they held as a deposit Negative: I dont like the staff. They are rude and none of them follow the same rules. Instead when I asked why I was charged 450 to stay there 4 days JUST FOR A DEPOSIT ... I was told there is noone else I could talk to about it.

Positive: Marriott property quality. Safe location. Negative: The breakfast was terrible. Grab-n-go was very low end. Other hotels that I have stayed in recently were very superior even during covid.

It looks good on the outside but not so much on the inside. No all day coffee and I had ants in my room.

Hotel has a musty smell as soon as you walk in.Shower was covered in hair and who knows when the last time the shower liner had been changed. My son went to the lobby and the front desk clerk was folding towels on one of the dining tables. I always stay at Marriott and this one is no longer on my list. Needs much attention.

This was a beautiful hotel?!! Very clean very quiet. There were a bunch of people there and never heard a noise from anyone! The receptionist were very kind and curious.

Positive: Very nice, spacious rooms. We were given adjoining rooms when we asked. Friendly staff. Negative: Not that they are alone in this, but they have lost their minds over the covid scare. No pool, no breakfast, you have to make reservations for the exercise room. This definitely made the overall experience lower for us and our kids.

Positive: We couldn¿t stay there. The power was out and there flipping generator didn¿t power any essentials. Negative: Never even saw a room.

Positive: Not impressed with much. Everything was pretty mediocre. Negative: The pool was closed and so was the restaurant but their website listed both as being available. Never would have stayed here had the advertising been truthful. Surrounding hotels all had pool and food open. Bait and switch advertising.

Great Price and nice hotel overall. Updated inside and beds and couches in the room were very comfy! The hotel also went above and beyond for cleanliness. Air filters in the rooms and special filters on the shower. Also sprayed every time we went into elevator for germs airborne. Overall I would stay here again if I am back in the area.

Cleanliness was perfect. The room and beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, theyre still advertising their pool, which is closed, and their free breakfast is a joke.

Handicap rooms are anything but handicap accessible. Even though they had the handicap bars, these rooms should have showers not bath tubs. My mother has severe neuropathy in her legs and feet. She struggled to use the shower because the room had a high side bath tub.

Clean, friendly, fast, the way it should be. Highly recommend this hotel property!

Changed our room without any notice. My wife and i were given two fulls instead of the king we booked. Then once inside nothing worked the clock radio, the phone, the tv all inoperable

It wasnt good, it was average. I also feel that a $250.00 holding on my card to be excessive, if I can only use half of the amenities I should only be charged accordingly

We are super disappointed. This is NOT the quality expected of a Marriott hotel. The public areas are dirty. The public bathroom had huge stains around the back of the toilet. The wallpaper was peeling. The soap dispenser is a free standing pump sitting on the side of the faucet that was nasty dirty itself. The carpets in the hall are horribly stained and need to be shampooed or replaced. Our room was not quite as bad as the public areas, but bathroom had hair in floor and on tub wall. The floors also had stains. We travel often and typically stay at Marriott hotels because my husband is a titanium member and we accrue points, so I can honestly say this is the worst Marriott hotel we’ve ever encountered. I am shocked at all the great reviews. Also, we have others traveling with us and one of their rooms wreaks of cigarette smoke.

Barely slept because it sounded like elephants were walking above us, people were smoking pot in their cars in the parking lot, the pool was closed even though it was not stated on the website. Shower head was covered in lime and barely worked.

A girl named Chris that was cleaning rooms but also working the food area was so loving and polite in really help me. Overall, we were happy with our stay. The first night I had an allergy attack, which apparently stemmed from the service dog in the room next door. They promptly moved us to a hypoallergenic room. It was very nice to breathe freely and enjoy the rest of our stay. I never knew such a thing existed.Staff was very friendly and helpful.Internet slowed down a lot in the evening. We did not eat because the bistro prices were not marked on the menu, and I didnt really see any gluten-free, dairy-free options. But if youre not on a tight budget or have weird allergies youre probably fine.

Stayed for a softball tournament. Staff was very courteous and the rooms were great. Very clean. Only downside was the pool was closed.

Our family traveled through multiple states on our recent trip. We have been familiar with Marriott Courtyard locations, and have had very good experiences. This one was truly exceptional though. We check for cleanliness of the room when we arrive, and were sincerely impressed. This, along with a very friendly staff, and a generally safe feeling for our entire family, allowed us to sleep peacefully (which was very needed). We woke up refreshed, and ready to take on the next part of our journey. Thanks to Marriott Courtyard Columbus Tipton Lakes, we did wide eyed, refreshed, and with smiles on our faces. Strong kudos!!

This was one of the best king suits my wife and I had the pleasure to stay in. The love seat sofa was wonderful for feeding the baby. The bed was extremely comfortable, the design and decor excellent, and over all a great experience. Location is absolutely the best. Not too far from the interstate exit but just off the main drive so it is very quiet and peaceful away from the main thoroughfares.

Absolutely a wonderful stay. GREAT location away from traffic and noise but just off of the main roads. Its an extra 1/4 mile down the road from the interstate but worth the 1 extra stop light to get there. Room was EXCELLENT, amenities were EXCELLENT. As always we stayed in the king suite as its only a few dollars more for the upgrade, and is completely worth it.

I hit a deer just outside of town stayed till I could get a rental Mr. C and staff were very helpful went out of their way to make me feel good about the day rooms clean and ready. Thanks for the help.

The comforter on both beds were filthy. They had what appeared to be blood spots on them and hadn’t been washed. I know they weren’t washed because I took a wet rag and rubbed at it and the spots disappeared. It is insulting to me that a Marriott that charges what this hotel does would leave bedding on a bed that isn’t clean. I would never stay here again and would caution anyone staying here to check bedding. I went to the front desk and they just apologized and gave me a new blanket, but they had no more clean comforters, probably because they don’t actually wash them. Incredibly disappointing.

Positive: The hotel was very quiet, despite being very busy. Negative: The hotel was understaffed. Trash overflowing on the floor outside of the elevator. 2nd floor hallway smelled musty, but room smelled clean. Dried blood stain on wall by bed and on 2 pillows and one comforter. Received another comforter that was stained.

Good price for the money

This is a great hotel for a business stay. The bistro has some great options for food. They offer a room rate that includes breakfast which is a good money saver. Leanne in the Bistro is great and AJ at the desk were so helpful. I hope you get to experience their hospitality!
