I had my 2 nephews attend this program with high hopes of them being a part of a great organization. Thell hired a man name Lee who was new to the program and been assigned to both of them. They had a great time and enjoyed their sessions. On the week of August 3rd Thell went out of town and did not send any communication on who the point of contact would be, didnt put a sign on the door, no email, no text, no DM. Lee texted me and asked to reschedule for the 4th and I agreed. I texted Lee on the 4th no response. When I reached out to Lee yesterday the 17th no response. I messaged Thell today and asked was Lee apart of the program anymore, since he was our last form of contact. Thell then tells me their mom told him the kids were in Dayton. She doesnt have custody nor is around to know their permanent schedule and he didnt verify with me anything. I adressed him about it and he deflects and states that:It’s a lot of confusion when I shared that mentoring was available for them tomorrow. There’s other agencies that can accommodate your needs since Halt Violence isn’t meeting them. God bless. Then blocks me. I planned for them to go back tomorrow, but wanted to know what had happened. I expressed this was very confusing and he didnt acknowledge anything I said to him. It was inconsiderate and unprofessional. I would not recommend this program because of how rude he was and that he doesnt care about the kids who Lee invested time in.
