Absolutely love this place . They have high quality meats of a very wide variety. They also have cheeses and lunch meats . Along with School pizzas vastada . They run specials . An have a butcher in shop . They can be busy at times but have great workers they get to you pretty fast . Pretty good prices . The hours are not all day so make sure you check to see if they are open before going. I definitely will go here again . We bought Beef 🐄 , pork 🐖 , & chicken 🐔 . Also some Pepperoni Cheese . Amazing when used to make a grilled cheese using the pepperoni cheese and then dipping into some tomato soup. My father shops here also and I always recommend this store to EVERYONE.

Love this meat market! Take a number ticket when you walk in the doors and browse the diverse selection. If your not sure what cuts are best for what you want to make the staff here is well versed in the art of meat lol. There is also an entire deli section with a large variety as well. If you see something interesting and dont know if you will like it just ask about it they will let you try it.

Excellent service. Even when they are busy they are not only fast to get your order but are in such a great mood when you speak to them. $23 for 5 pounds of ground chuck is quite the deal and the quality is write in the taste and smell. Also have a good selection of cheap and certified humane eggs.

I went in today for the first time pretty confused about what exactly I wanted to buy and how much of it I needed. I wandered around the store for a minute only to realize that I hadnt gotten a number to get a place in line, a dispenser for which had apparently been at the front of the store. Despite what seemed to be a pretty hefty rush and a lot of confusion on my part, I had someone at the meat counter help me quickly and patiently until I was ready to check out, some of the best customer service I have ever had from everyone I came in contact with. The meat looks absolutely phenomenal and I am in the process of making a beef wellington tonight. I think it will work perfectly and I will definitely be going back.

This was my first visit to Schmans meat and will not be the last!The store was very, very clean! I was a kid in a candy store , it was amazing on how fresh everything look compared to the grocery store meat.I do not eat beef or pork, however the selections Schmans offered was outstanding.The butcher who help me was amazing he was professional, kind, helpful,polite, outgoing and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!Wow, I could go on and on I was able to find smoked turkey legs, smoked turkey wings, fresh turkey wings, and turkey Pastrami!Yes , at a reasonable price , thats right reasonable price and I do not have to run from one store to another finding my chicken and turkey products!As the saying goes the first impression is a lasting impression!Schmans Meats you have new lifetime customer !Stay safe!

Top shelf products with top shelf service! Place is usually busy, but they manage it very well. Incredibly accommodating and helpful, too. You cannot beat the bacon. Cheaper than top brands and better flavor. Bought a thick steak to try, and it was simply perfect. Went back for more steaks and the service I received was second to none! Old school values of customer service that are lost in todays world. Saved me a good amount of money, I get exactly what I ask for, and they gained a customer for the foreseeable future. Plus someone that screams accolades for businesses I like.

I enjoy Schumans. They provide excellent cuts if meat. Wish they had a little bigger store. It stays packed on weekends!

I am concerned about cross contamination the same people that works on the deli meats are also handling the raw meats! I never saw gloves changed or hands washed! I understand the market can become very busy however there has got to be a solution to the problem! Someones gonna get sick!

My husband and I bought a prime rib roast and some trail bologna from here before Thanksgiving. The roast was amazing best cut of meat I think Ive ever had and not too expensive. $86.00 for a 5 lb roast which was enough for 6 people. Cant get a prime rib dinner for 6 anywhere for that price.The trail bologna was really good too. We will definitely be back.

I love coming here because I get my Spicy Sweet mustard here and I can never find anywhere else but here also they have good cuts of meat and my Kosar seasonings that I like and some others using means that I cant seem to find anywhere else also they had that special a little touch theyre always kind courteous and serve you with a smileWell with to shumans again today to stock up on my meat such as chicken beef and pork. Humans has a very good session today on pork country ribs. I also got a good deal on some T-bone steaks. I got some good looking chickens. Also they have the little items you dont think they would have such as hot and mild souse and liver cheese. I also got me some ham hocks smoked. Just to put in the freezer and a lot of other good delicious meat!!!

First time there I called in an order and picked it up. I didnt wait long they answered right away it was a Saturday they were packed. So grateful for pickup service. I will definitely be back steaks look delicious 😍!

The staff was supper nice and helpful with all the things I was in need of, along with informing me of date and time of things that was not in stock and agreed, to notify me with call when they became available, like my pies they also cut my meat to my desire need and was able to freeze and use them as I desire, useful Information on preparing so meat I wasnt sure of the best was to keep until I was ready to use and some with information on cooking. Called in yesterday to verify that they were taking over the phone orders, I was told yes and to call back this morning when they opened at 9am.Set an alarm just to place an order, just to be told “we haven’t done phone orders for days” - maybe you should inform the employees of that. Thanks for wasting my time, I’m looking forward to finding a better place to spend my money!In addition, a trip or two ago, we purchased several pounds of chicken that we couldn’t eat. Woody, tough, inedible chicken - disgusting.

Our family has been patronizing Schumans for years now. Excellent customer service from everyone... I cannot stress the word everyone enough. Our food has always been fresh and the establishment is top tier clean. They have recently handled this pandemic wonderfully and even though customers have to wait outside to adhere to capacity requirements, you really dont hear many complaints. Staff is very timely with ensuring that folks are let in appropriately. Keep up the outstanding work!

They had the beef western/country ribs I like and have been looking for. The ribs are more meat and very little bone if any and thats what I like

No complaints about their products, but ever since they stopped using the number system inside, its basically just a free for all of people wandering around and standing at counters. Do not expect youll get in and out of here in less than half an hour. Be prepared to guard your place in line.

Good quality meat, staff very friendly and helpful. They have different kinds and sizes of boxes you can order.Need to stand outside in line during the covid 19 only certain number of customers in store at a time.. it goes pretty quickly. The guy that lets you in, explains procedures, answers questions, sanitizes the carts that have been used...he is very nice. They open 9-5 Tues-Fri, Sat 9-4 closed Sunday and Monday. During this time you can call over your order, they will call you when ready.

Everyone who works here is very friendly and will happily educate if you ask. The prices are way better than your average grocery store, too. Meat is great quality. Ive been recommending this place to everyone!

I absolutely love this place! I work in Worthington and everyone has me pick up meat for them. The employees are always so nice and helpful! If you wonder what a certain flavor of cheese tastes like, they will give you a sample. The pepperoni cheese and green onion cheese are delicious!!!

Was going to Schumann Meats for a few years, then stopped going because of the drive from where I live. However, there is no other meat market in the Columbus area comparable to the choices, and friendly services! Therefore, I started going the extra miles again because it is well worth it!
