Great people .but neecs to ne open u.til 12 like it was at the beginning...thats the only reason its the best place ever....cloeds at 10 :(..... 12 was best.. we are women things are time-consuming in our lives..... by keeping open until 12 a.m. gives us time to Wing a tan...... Im befor tomorrow comes......

I was looking for a place to do laundry and stumbled upon this gem. There are plenty of washers and dryers, which made for a very quick visit. It was not terribly expensive considering the quality of the machines. It was very clean and well maintained. I even got to have some free fresh coffee. I do not tan personally, but I think the concept is convenient for those who do.

We love it here safe and clean friendly staff. I bring my family and my mother to wash here..

It was so hot in the stand up had to open it up a little lol it was nice to get new bulbs.

Absoutely the best laundry I have ever seen. Prices are good. Machines are excellent, and there are always plenty of machines. I have never had to wait for a dryer.Tanning is also excellent. Very special price on Sundays.During this Corona crisis, a lot of customers dont wear masks, so I only go very early.

We go here to do our laundry and i love it. Its always kept nice and clean, the workers are friendly, its a descent price, not crowded at all!

The man next to me had a concern with his washer not working, when he tried to explain it to the manager she told him there was nothing she could do, except wash the clothes again once they were done, he explained that he was on a time restraint and had to go out of town soon, she was very rude, and pretty much told him tough luck, if he didnt like it to leave, all he wanted to do was change machines. After I did my laundry the dryers made my clothes stink even though I used scented detergent and dryer sheets, its close to my house, but I wont be going back here !

Overall very clean in the morning. Fairly spacious site but mask wearing was not enforced.

I started going to this laundromat 6 yrs ago when I lived in Columbus... I was very impressed by how clean it was and how well managed it was... The employees are very helpful and pleasant to talk to... I live in Johnstown OH now about 26 miles from the location... The laundromat we had here was terrible then they took it out so I make the trip every week to every 2 weeks to do my laundry and I will continue... Thank for a job well done...

Great Beds

This is is wonderful place. The staff are always friendly, there are always machines available, and it’s always clean. I don’t know if the prices are fair because it’s the only one I’ve been too, but I don’t mind paying $2-$7 for a wash (depending on the size) and only ¢25 for 5 minutes in the dryer. Highly recommend

Went and was almost put in a bed 12 bed was down as are others then was put in 11 was told the others were dirty felt as if I got no tan

Large. Lots of washers/dryers. MASSAGE CHAIRS. Who doesnt love a good massage chair while youre stuck in a public place doing laundry. Associates seem nice. Pretty clean place.

Dropped my tanpro membership after my 1st visit here. Had a membership w/ tanpro for 6+ yrs @ $67 per month & I just couldnt deal w/ their extremely rude employees & their dwindling hours anymore. Employees @ 161 SC Wash & Tan have been super friendly & they are always open til midnight so I dont have to sneak out of work early just to go tanning! The beds here are just as good as tanpro or LA tan but not as expensive.

I Recommend if you dont have a washer and dryer and there family dollar next door

I love the fact that they have extended their hours to stay open until midnight. They keep the place clean and they arent pushy when it gets close to closing time. Im usually the last or second to last person out of there and it is generally right at closing. Good variety of washing machines and prices. Dryers are hot as you want them.

Nice tanning beds, welcoming staff. I will continue to tan here and they stay open late...thats a plus.

I have been tanning at this place for quite some time. I LOVE IT, THE BEDS WERE UP TO SPEED AND THE GIRLS WERE SWEET! I SEEM TO HAVE A ISSUE FROM TIME. THIS PAST WEEK WHEN I WENT IT THERE THERE. THERE WERE 3LBEDS NOT WORKING INCLUDLING THE ULTRA BED I PAID FOR IN THE PAST SO WHEN I CALLED TODAY ABOUT BEING REIMBURSED thr manager says I get to many freebies! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME IM NOT LOOKING FOR A HAND OUT!! WHAT RIGHT IS RIGHT AND WRONG IS WRONG!!! MS. MANAGER MAYBE YOU SHOULD COME DOWN OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE! HERES TO LOSING A GOOD CUSTOMERTAMMI

Facility is clean & equipment is well maintained with the additional bonus of a dollar store adjacent. However, there are quite a few obnoxious patrons that just, (sloppily/ineptly) park their vehicles in the loading zone for the entire duration of their laundry washing time!

This is the best laundromat that I know. You NEVER have to wait for a machine because they have so many. The washing machines are the newer highly-efficient front-loading models that do such a great job. You can pay to get a tan in the back of the store while waiting for your laundry to finish.

I love this place I just wish they had more of the extra large washers. It sucks having to wait to use them since theres only two. But still very convenient

Beds and rooms are always clean the hours are also great open early to late. The staff that work here are always welcoming and very nice they seem to enjoy there job. Nice selection of tanning lotions and there at a reasonable price and the packages for tanning are as well. Ive also done laundry here and everything is always keep up and clean.

The inside is fairly clean. Depending upon who’s working, it may be cleaner some days than others. The machines could be cleaned better and more often throughout the day, especially the soap compartments and the front part where things get caught inside the machine. The prices start at about $2.25 for regular washers and than the front loaders start at $2.50. Drying is $0.25 for 6 minutes and it usually takes 3–4 quarters for me to dry a small to medium load. Not too crowded Wednesday-Friday. I don’t know what the weekends and Mondays are like. I once went on a Tuesday morning and it was packed. I don’t use the tanning services. My duvet cover got ripped in the dryer or washer. I don’t know which. I was disappointed about that. I think it was the dryer because it also left black marks on the duvet cover and on a pair of my pants. The staff is okay. I appreciate the automatic sliding doors because when you are carrying laundry that works better. The exterior is typically not the cleanest, which is up to the owner of the plaza. There’s a Family Dollar next door if you’re into that store. There’s an African restaurant there as well if you’d like to try some new food. Overall, it’s average. Worth a try. Also, there’s plenty of parking and you can pull up front to load/unload if necessary and then go park your car.

I have went here to do laundry and tan. Never had an issue until I went to cancel my tanning package. At time of sign up, I was told I could cancel Anytime. Was never told of any charges I would have to pay. 6 days after my monthly payment was due,I went in to officially cancel due to, this was first chance I had, because of my work. I had not tanned in approximately 2 weeks. First, I get told of $5 cancellation fee, then it was realized I had signed up prior to this. So,no fee.but I was then told if I want to tan there,ever again, I would owe $22 and something. For What??!??!?.... Wow, I will definitely be finding somewhere else to tan from now on. Please let people know what theyre signing up for as I was not made aware of having to Pay for services I no longer use or need. Very dissatisfied,if that matters!!!

The man who usually works there has been gone the last 2 Tuesdays. He keeps it clean and fresh. The girl today was too busy on her ph outside to do anything. The ladies room had fecies on the toilet seat and inside rim. It was dried on so it was old. She did come sweep some bits of debri off the floor rt by my boyfriends feet tho! Like almost hit his feet with the broom close. Then went directly across from us and leaned over the sink and just stood there. She thinks she is cute Im assuming smh. She didnt speak to anyone either. Miss the regular man. He is so friendly and attentive to all the patrons.

Worst experience ever. I noticed the machine was eating my quarters. I told the attendant. Then attendant then says to me well what do you want me to do about it. Its not like I can give you your quarters back. Smh I saw with my own eyes 50¢ being taken and not counted. Ugh. Cant wait to get a washer and dryer.

Love this sc wash and tan I go out of my way to go to this one instead of the one close to me on Morse Rd and Cleveland Ave. The one on Morse and Cleveland I had people taking my stuff out of the dryer once and putting it back in my laundry baskets then another time someone stole all my Hangers then the last time I was at the other location I had two guys go off on me for asking them to move when they were just there to use the WiFi and were sitting plugging in their phones as I was trying to fold my clothes and called me out of my name when I asked him if they could move since they werent doing laundry. At this location on 161 I have never had a problem it is so clean so very nice this stuff is great it just so much better!! If I have to do laundry I wont come to another location than the 161 location of SC wash and tan. .

There was a woman there who works there and used to be nurse. My son got ill and was supportive. I happened to lose my bank card and she put it up. When I came back after hours she was kind enough to open the door and give it to me. Its always clean and enough machines.

The place is cleaning and customer service is terrible you cant get change feom the cashier.So you go next door to Family dollar, come back and realize somebody stolen clothes out the dryer. And they tell me because i went next door well lady if you or whom ever was there to give change. I would had to go next door. So you have clothes that you care about dont leave them unattended for my seconds or minutes.
