Had my first ever Brazilian wax done here! The lady who helped me was super sweet and helpful and easygoing! Definitely want to go back here when Im in town again!

On 7/14/2021 around 6:30pm, I went for my first time- aaaand I was nervous as hell. Fortunately, the staff up front sensed my apprehension right away, and so began my excellent experience. Staff were friendly and fun to chat with, my specialist was very pleasant and sensitive to my anxiety about every hair on one half of me being violently pulled from my body, then my worries faded ‘cause Beth was so darn sweet. It hurt like hell the first couple pulls, then the latter thirty-odd strips went easy, and I’m grateful for the experience. I hadn’t the nerve to schedule a follow-up before leaving the clean and nicely appointed establishment, but an hour later I’m reluctant to wait too long before my next visit, and I was compelled to schedule another, and give them a good review.

I have always relied on EWC, I know they will get the job done. I have gotten my eyebrows done here twice now and both times was a great experience and the waxer made sure she took her time and that I was happy with my eyebrows. Coming from Florida, I was so happy to see an EWC near me in Columbus and it will definitely be my go to waxing spot!

I was so nervous to get waxed but Beth made everything so easy and smooth i definitely recommend her and I will be going back ☺️🤗

Gina is the best! Very personable too! I read reviews before I decided on this location. Others follow Gina from salon to salon if she moves. I will definitely do that too. I drive farther just to have Gina!

First time trying this place, my waxer was just okay, I would try other places

The manager took my payment for my service and offered me a package deal, I refused 3 times. I signed for my service and tipped. She said she would email me my receipt. Never received it. The next morning I checked my acct balance and seen TWO separate transactions for European Wax Center, one for my service and one for a PACKAGE I did not want!!! This addition charge for $150!!! To say I was upset would be a understatement. The manager knew exactly what she was doing! She is a thief!! I told her 3 times I did not want a package and she STILL with out my permission charged my card AFTER I left. Which is against the law,! I will never patronize with them again!!! I’m reporting to the BBB and corporate office!!!

Gina at EWC Bethel is beyond amazing. I have been getting a Brazilian wax from her for about six months now. She makes you feel comfortable and my wax is always perfect each time. No extra hairs left or any issue! and she’s super fast. Ten mins you are in and out !If Gina isn’t available I don’t bother making an appointment ! She’s the best ! I have been to other locations and other wax service businesses and honestly Gina is the best I have seen with professionalism and perfect waxing each time.

I love EWC especially Gina! She is my go to girl! I went to for her the first time about 8 months ago and she made me feel so comfortable with everything. She is so sweet, very nice & very professional!! I recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Gina was awesome! It hardly took her 10 minutes to do my brazilian. I was doing it after 10 months because of the pandemic mad was scared it would be painful but she was great. I am glad I found a place for brazilian in Ohio. I am not fr around here.

I had a great experience getting a brazilian wax here. Their prices are better compared to other salons or spas in the Columbus area, and booking an apointment online was easy. Upon arrival, the ladies at the reception desk were very helpful and friendly. My wax specialist, Caitlin, was awesome. She made sure I was comfortable, happy, and felt the least amount of pain. Im very impressed with their service and look forward to my next visit.

Timely appointments, flexibility with rescheduling, good conversation during intimate services ( Brazilian ), caring staff. Overall clean facility and good hygiene focused procedures Rooms could use more Swiffer or sweeping in between appointments to reduce floor dirt when having to walk around after removing articles or getting onto the bench.

I use Beth for my services and she is always great.

Today was my first time and I loved it. Gina did a magnificent job on my eyebrows and everything else I got done. Staff very friendly, place clean and in time. I will recommend it here and will also recommend Gina

I have gotten my Brazilian wax done for about 4 times at EWC now. All the receptionists I have met were all welcoming and nice.I get my wax done by Gina and only by Gina. The first appointment I had with her (my very first time getting waxed too), she was very welcoming and friendly. I had heard about the pain & awkwardness about Brazilian waxing so I was somewhat nervous. However, Gina made me feel comfortable during our encounter. We chatted the whole time like we had been known each other! My appointment went by quickly and with almost no pain because Gina is very good and efficient at what she does. She told me the first time is the worst and it gets better and better as you get it done regularly. She is so genuine and nice. Shell always be my go-to aesthetician! :-) Highly recommend her.I recommend getting the wax pass because its a better deal (BUY 6, GET 1 FREE OR BUY 9, GET 2.. OR 3 if youre a first time guest although I wish EWC would have the same deal for the regulars, too...)

They were amazing. Got me in right away. It was my first time and I had Amika... she was so sweet I felt super comfortable. She talked me through everything and I was super nervous but she made me feel a lot better. Would definitely recommend!

I had krista give me a Brazilian and she did AMAZING! She was very detailed and wanted everything to be perfect. 10/10 would recommend. Also the front desk was incredibly helpful and sweet!

It was my first time getting a professional wax. I hate tweezing my eyebrows, it takes way too long and is too painful. I finally decided to get them waxed and they were amazing! The front desk girls were so sweet and my aesthetician Kacie was amazing. the process was quick and barely felt a thing. I feel so much better!

Just got my first wax done and it was great! My eyebrows have never looked better and Gina did a great job of making me feel comfortable during my bikini line. Will definitely be recommending this place to all my friends and can’t wait to go back 😊

The reason i’m not giving one star is because the lady at the front desk was helpful. I booked the same day and put no preference for my eyebrow waxer. First problem my wax lady never introduced herself. The second problem was she was rude. The third and worst problem of all she burnt the life out of my skin. It has been 7 hours and my skin still hurts to the touch. She rushed through the whole appointment and didn’t care my skin was burnt. I have burn spots all under my eye brows. i wish i could upload pictures and i wish i knew her name so i can tell you to stay away!

I just have to say, all of the reviews about Gina are absolutely true!! I had a Brazilian. I normally do but the person I was going to lives far now so I had to find someone else. The only reason I booked with her is because all of the reviews. She is amazing at what she does and makes you feel so comfortable! I will only book with her from now on! If she leaves this place I don’t think I’d book with anyone else.

They do a great job! Especially after all of this Covid nonsense they make their customers feel comfortable.

I’ve been coming here for about two years. My last renewal of a wax pass, one of the receptionists charged me for a package I didn’t want without asking. They then failed to refund it and kept calling me about a balance I had on the account. I requested a refund Of both passes exactly 8 times. Three times in person where there was no manager in the store. Two calls directly to the district manager Nikki who has failed to get back to me by email or call, and three phone calls where they “submitted a complaint” but nothing happened. I guess I’ll eat the $150 they charged me for nothing because I absolutely never want to step foot inside a EWC again. I regret ever giving money to this company. It’s gone immensely downhill. Beth has always been amazing and i have zero complaints about my waxing experience. But the administration is god awful and I would not recommend giving them your business. Save your money.

I went in for a full face wax for the second time and it was such a great experience! Gina does such an amazing job! She is so easy to talk to and listens to my needs! I highly recommend her to everyone!!!

Just received a threatening phone call from an associate at the Bethel location saying I owe an outstanding balance. I immediately called back and spoke to the store manager, who is probably the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to. I explained to her I cancelled my payment plan after I moved to a new city - the location I cancelled the plan OK’d this with no consequences. She lied and said she’s been calling me for over a year trying to receive this payment - today’s the first day I received a phone call after I cancelled my plan and I called back RIGHT away.The Manager repeatedly spoke to me like a robot and wasn’t understanding nor wanted to hear me explain myself. She continued to cut me off and state “well our policy is”. She finally looked in the system and confirmed the conversation I had with the location that told me it was okay to cancel my plan. After confirming this, she kept threatening to send me to collections. I’m appalled at European Wax Centers poor communication between locations and how they treat their customers. They didn’t even have my correct information! They had in their system I live in Florida - funny because I lived in Florida BEFORE I went to the Bethel location. Never will I ever walk in an European Wax Center again nor recommend anyone to use their services.

As an esthetician myself, I wasn’t too happy with the experience I had here. I wasn’t introduced in any fashion and had no idea who waxed me. She was nice but the technique wasn’t great. She pulled very slowly and ended up missing huge patches of hair. A lot of the hair broke off instead of being pulled out because she didn’t apply the wax in the right direction and seemed to be lifting up instead of across the skin. I ended up going home and spending an hour tweezing to make sure the hairs stayed on the same growth cycle, as this wasn’t my first Brazilian and I didn’t want to get off track. I would be appalled if I let someone walk out of my waxing studio with that many missed spots. I’m not sure if it’s the lighting there or what but it wasn’t okay. I also declined to rebook when I left, since I felt that I would be better off going back to waxing myself and they said okay but then when I got home they had sent me a “save the date” email for a future appointment.. sneaky sneaky. Overall, not happy with this location and there are much better places to go to in Columbus that have hard wax as well that works better.

First time at European Wax Center for a brazilian (would go to Mitchell’s Salon at my hometown but am in Columbus for college) and I love it!!! I had Gina because sooo many reviewers raved about her and she was amazing! Will definitely continue to book with her and am so happy I listened to the reviews.I wrote this review about a couple months ago. I stand by everything I said about Gina and love her even more! I wanted to update and say she is going to be permanently at the Powell location. I love her so much I followed her to her new location (barely an extra 10 min drive) because she is so worth it!!!!!!

I usually go to European wax center and its a quiet good place.Patricia is one of a amazing person when it comes to waxing technics.She is superb.I would highly recommend her. She is patient and simply great in her work.

Megan is by far the best waxer Ive worked with at this location. She asked me what I wanted before she started which I appreciated. She also did smaller sections at a time so it wouldnt irritate my skin as much. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

After having several negative experiences with Waxxpot I decided to look for a place that ACTUALLY uses hard wax. I found this place and went off the recommendations here and decided to go with Gina for my wax, and I am SO GLAD I did! She knows her stuff and is very personable and I felt comfortable with her. Kristen was great. Since Im pregnant it was a little difficult getting into positions for the waxing and she left a little bit of hair but I believe that was because of me.

I used to go to Ausha. She was the best. Now that she is gone I was stuck with others. One lady did not remove all hair and the other burned me.

I had to write a review after reading the other. I got a Brazilian for tue first time when i was 7 months pregnant. Alyssa was so nice and walked me through the whole process. The location was CLEAN and everyone was very profession. I have recommended this location to many people.

**Refer to pics to see what they call a $100 job***$114 with tip for my back, shoulders, chest, and torso. This joint has no idea what a good job is. There’s multiple patches of hairs that are over a 1/4” long. The lady told me that was normal!! She didn’t even ask me to pull my pants down far enough for the tramp stamp area so it just screams rushed, poor job.I was probably back there for no more than 15 minutes.She also said I wasn’t allowed to take a picture of the wax on my nipples for Snapchat. Will not be returning and will strongly advise against if someone asks where I got waxed.

My technician Bre is great. Today, 5/25/2019, I was disappointed by your front desk receptionist. She was rude in my opinion. Apparently you couldnt take debit cards, which I did not know until I tried to pay. One might let people know upon arrival, or have some kind of sign posted. No problem. I left to go get cash from the Atm machine. I come back to pay, and she asked if Id like to leave a tip, of course I would, and told her Id like to leave 4.00. She did not take it out of the money I gave her, and gives me back 3 5.00 Bills and 2 1.00 Bills. I ask if i could have change for a 5.00 bill to leave a tip, and she said she couldnt do that. She isnt very friendly, nor helpful. Unfortunately my person did not get a 4.00 tip, as I normally leave her bc I couldnt get change. Another thing that would have been helpful to know upon arriving for the 2nd time to pay, bc your credit card machine wasnt working. I get things happen, but a staff member who would help in accommodating the situation would have been helpful to everyone involved! I came back for a 3rd time bc it wasnt Bres fault your receptionist couldnt make change.

Not exactly how I expected my eye brows to look in a couple weeks, but Ill give them 1 more shot.

Caitlyn is great! I have been going to this location for over 2 years. She is the only person I will see, for my brows and Brazilian and I am always in and out in 12 mins!

Callie is the best! Been to her twice now for a full Brazilian and Brow, and she makes the entire experience super comfortable. I feel like Im hanging with one of my girlfriends having margs at happy hour rather than getting copious amounts of hair ripped out of me. Getting a Brazilian can be tough stuff, but Callie helps your breathe through it. She takes so much pride in her work. She will be honest with you and respectful of your financial situation (if youre a broke chick like me and cant afford an appt every 4 weeks). So glad Ive found someone so chill and fun to make a sometimes awkward and painful experience be a good one. :)

They did a good job, however my eyebrows were irritated a few hours afterwardsThey also were pretty pressuring about rescheduling. But you frt your first wax free so may be worth tryong out to see if you like it. I had a better experience at Waxxpot.

I had the pleasure of having Beth service me. I went to the Easton location previously and wasn’t all that impressed but Beth’s skills wowed me. She really knows what she’s doing and she’s comfortable doing it! She was absolutely incredible. She talked to me the whole way through and was very attentive to my needs! I definetly would recommend this location bc of the great people!!!

Easy no frills waxing.

The three rules of waxing are1) Apply wax with the grain2) Pull away from the grain3) Make sure the skin is always tautNone of these were done by my waxer, which resulted in excruciating pain, and burns on my entire brazillian area from top to bottom (including the labia because she did such large, sloppy strips). We stopped the brazillian and moved on to doing the legs... she kept trying to put wax over my knee while it was wrinkly. You cant wax a knee that isnt extended!I kept asking her if she needed me to adjust positions, hold anything, that I would extend knees if she would tell me... but she told me it was okay, and continued applying everything wrong-- at the cost of my skin. She applied a huge strip across the entire top of my bikini area horizontally, when the hair grows vertically... from top to bottom, my entire region feels like one giant sunburn. Parts are swollen and scaly... there were even still 12 strips of purple wax on my legs/bikini area when I got home.My waxer said she has had her license for four years, but I do not see how this is possible; I also have a license (of 8 years), and she did not understand the very first rules of waxing. Because of European Wax Centers lack of training, I am bedridden with burns, and my first anniversary is ruined. I wish I had gone back to Waxxpot, instead.
