During marriage counseling Steve suggested DivorceCare to my husband and Retrovaille to me. How is that marriage counseling??? That is working in complete opposite directions! He vaped during the session which I thought was completely unprofessional and shared way too much about his family rather than focusing on my family. I felt like things were so slow that he was planning to keep us in counseling forever and never felt like our issues were properly addressed or any progress was ever made. He would frequently yawn in the sessions like he was bored or too tired to even listen. It was a complete waste of time and money in my opinion. Go to a real marriage counselor not one that just claims to be one.

I finally found someone willing to listen, and not judge. Some who acknowledges my feelings and helps me work thru what I need to work on without being condescending.

Steve martin is biased. I went to him for help in coping with dealing with irrational people i needed to deal with in day to day work. And i was met with adversity. Then when i opened up further he treated me like some kind of freak outsider. Nobody deserves to be treated like this, let alone pay hundreds just to be further ostracized for it.
