She provided great insight on the few companies that I was considering and was very helpful with the interview prep. Her energy was contagious and I found her to be an absolute pleasure to work with! Applied for a position. In begining the recruiter was on top of it. Prep call and all before phone interview with potential client. Once that was done, no response back from recruiter either via email or phone. When you do reach the recruiter they say we will be in touch once we hear more. Never had a return call. Its like the recruiters dont know how to keep their potential client base in order. Would never recommend anyone apply for a position through Vaco unless your just testing the waters.

They never call you back. They never email you back. They have zero communication skills. Incredibly unreliable and unprofessional.

I worked with the Vaco team for six months. They were all very responsive and were determined to place me from the start. After meeting with the Vaco team, I went to one interview, was offered the contract position within hours, was on assignment with the company for six moths before being hired on full-time. The entire process was seamless and I can’t thank Vaco enough.

My wife had one assignment from Vaco and it did not go well. Hard to get a hold of firstly, and then the 2nd and final straw was after she signed up for insurance. She filled out the paperwork, which had no pricing, and never gave it a second thought until receiving her paycheck. Turns out the insurance is VERY expensive and guess what, they take it ALL out of one paycheck. So at $20 an hour for 80 hours is $1600 before taxes, so after taxes and insurance, she was left with an $85.19 paycheck for two weeks. When she called Nicole to ask about it, Nicole actually answered, and proceeded to yell at her and tell her it was her own fault! What company takes it all out of one check? And who does it without mentioning it to the employee? Skip Vaco and work with another company, Vaco clearly does not care about people. What if my wife was a single mother and only had $85.19 to carry her and her children for two weeks? From reading the other reviews, obviously the two 5 star reviews are either directly employed by Vaco or related to an employee that works directly for them. Or, I guess every squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. Good luck Vaco, youre going to need it.Edit: Its really surprising that Vaco hasnt responded to any of these reviews, good or bad. Goes to show the care for employees, contractors and clients. Without a response it gives validity to the reviews. And we all know Im not talking the 5 stars.

Unfortunately, My experience with Heather Geiger wasnt good after the initial face to face interview process. Which I thought went very well. From that day on I never received any further communication at all. None of my text, emails or phone calls were returned. I have been in management for 20 plus years and I have worked with many temp agencies when I was looking for qualified candidates, I sincerely hope they dont display this type of unprofessional behavior.

Terrible. They will send you on a wild goose chase while they have no leads. Time after time Kyle just forgot to send emails. Please avoid this staffing agency as there are many better options.

Vaco is a great staffing firm that works hard to place candidates and provide only the best people to their clients. Ive been thrilled to work with Vaco. Youre not just a number with them.

This is a joke of an organization. Either they are just totally disorganized, just not equipped to do anything, or liars. Kyle has zero connections and claims to be working with top talent and reaching out to CPOs all around the area. He honestly probably just sits around and plays golf all-day. Did not get one job lead in 2+ months working with them.

Very unprofessional, disengaged with clients. Doesnt even seem like a put together business. The lady had me come up for a in person interview, just to tell me the job they were offering was no longer available. Foolish behavior.

Employment recruiting firm.

The recruiter I worked with was Lexi Miller, and she was very accommodating with her time during the onboarding process. I do recommend doing your part to keep up with any questions you have and speaking up for yourself if there is a lag between responses. Lexi was really good at giving me call to make sure we were on the same page. I didnt really need anything dire, so my relationship with them as a contractor was pretty smooth. Im now full-time (!!) so Im glad I took a chance with Vaco. Thanks Lexi!

The entire process was smooth! Flannery from Vaco went above and beyond to land me a position that I was satisfied with. Flannery got to know me well and made looking for a job less dreadful! She was enthusiastic and I couldnt have asked for a better person. The Vaco team was present, professional, and responsive throughout the entire process. I was never left confused or guessing next steps. They care to land you a job and even do checkins to see how youre doing after youve accepted a position! I was unsure of what to expect as I have never worked with any staffing firm before but my experience with Vaco and my consultant, Samantha OBrien have exceeded my wildest expectations! I was impressed with her knowledge of the position, responsiveness and willingness to assist with any issue I may have.
