I have been bringing my dogs to you for at least the last 19 years. I had 6 dogs, all of which you had taken care of. Four have died but I still have 2 left. Whenever I go on vacation, I feel so at ease knowing you will take good care of them. Ive never had one single problem with them not being cared for. From the front desk to the back, everyone has been extremely helpful. I personally dont know what I would do without you, especially when I board them. Its so nice to know my babies are taken care of. Im so bad with names so I cant thank anyone individually but if you know me, please know that I am very thankful! I appreciate all of the caring and hard work you do because I know it isnt easy! They saved my baby tiny tim. He is doing so much better. They have wonderful staff. They are down to earth and love animals as if they were there own. My baby had pneumonia and was better within one day. The doctor did get job to the fullest she went above and beyond. Im so blessed to have met them all.

These people are ALWAYS on point. My girl, Billie came here in May with intestinal worms because people dont clean up after their pets in apartment complexes. I will tell this to other vet clinics and they will smile and tell me we can see her in two weeks which is obviously not an option.Dr. Pope and the rest of the team are AWESOME! They are always prompt and have always saved me with same-day or next day appointments for my dog. Charges are not extreme either, and they always ask for me to follow up. It is so hard to find a good vet, so Im thankful for yall!

We found a stray kitten that appeared to have issues walking on a friday evening. Our regular vet couldnt see us Saturday morning, Columbus Vet Med got us in. They discovered the kitten had a broke back and kept her over the holiday weekend. Stephanie, took the kitten home to watch her more closely. Dr. Perella and Stephanie did an amazing job taking care of the kitten and we now have a new family member. We and Coco (the kitten) are so grateful for their compassion and expertise! We have also found a new veterinarian office to care for our two dogs as well as Coco.

My dog and cat have received excellent care at CVMC. The physicians are very thorough and explain everything to me in detail. The staff is always smiling, friendly, and helpful when I call or visit. This practice was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad she did. It comforts me to know my pets are well cared for. Thank you for your service.

I Googled all the Veterinarian clinics in the area and nobody would take my 19+ gravely ill cat for Emergency visit. Not even the River Road Vet Clinic where my cat was a patient for a few years (I do not recommend you to go there!) Only Leanne, Starla and other lovely receptionists went out of their way to squeeze us in on short notice. They are WONDERFUL! I will always recommend this clinic because it is not just a business but a beautiful, peaceful and spiritual place where pets and clients are treated with love, respect and compassion. This is a very special place unlike any other Ive been here in the U.S.A. or before in Europe. I have no words to express my gratitude to Dr Jo Ann Perrella and her staff.This is the highest quality vet clinic and the safest place where your beloved fur baby will be properly looked after. I am writing this on the worst day of my life when I had to decide to put down my precious 19+ year old Issy I never spent a day apart from. Pain I feel is unbearable, so please believe when I recommend this clinic and Dr Perrella and her staff after only a few hours of losing the only love I had in my life. I am inconsolable and yet so grateful for God sending us an angel, Dr Jo Ann Perrella in whose loving arms my fur baby crossed over the rainbow. So happy with the excellent care that my two dogs receive from Dr. Perella, a very experienced and knowledgeable vet. I highly recommend her practice as a center for medical care and boarding of your pets. The staff members are friendly and competent. Annette greats owners and pets by name and shows her love for animals every time I see her.

This veterinary center treats and cares for 3 of my animals. My wait times have been short and everyone from the workers at the front desk to the doctors in the rooms have been helpful to me and kind to my animals. I appreciate this kind of treatment when it comes to my fur babies!

Please do not go here!!! Took my dog in for a hematoma in her ear and the vet said she would have to undergo surgery and be hospitalized. I got a 2nd opinion and the 2nd vet drained her ear right then and there and I took her home. These people are only after your money.

My dog was bit by a Copperhead a few months ago and my normal Vet was closed due to COVID19. I saw their reviews and decided to take my girl here. They were awesome! They not only kept her overnight and made her better but their price was much much less than my normal Vet. Thank you so much for the great service and price! I am doing this review now because a friend just asked about a Vet referral and I immediately though of CVMC!! :-)

The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They take very good care of our miniature poodle. They are also very accommodating when the unexpected arises!

So far I have appreciated the service that the Columbus Veterinary Medical Center has provided. It was an Emergency for my Bulldog and they took my right in and has been working every since to help to repair the eye damage.

Very helpful with taking care of my moms dog while she went to Florida. Wish that accomodation was better for late pickups for dogs/cats and even on weekends. This is one big perk that all vets used to have that none offer any longer. Something to consider if looking to get more business I guess. Everything has moved to be less personal and thats big town living anymore. Great location and good folks here regardless. :)

A life saver, my service dog hurt her leg, was limping for awhile. Didnt get a return call from previous service until days after treatment with Columbus Veterinary. She is doing great, back to her boisterous self. I was afraid I wouldnt be able to afford the service, but they were very good. Thumbs up!!!

Despite not being able to go inside, the employees were unprofessional and rushed us out without giving us proper instruction for the antibiotics and diet for our dog. Upon releasing our dog, the vet tech yelled at our dog and yanked on the leash for pulling her while he was simply excited to see his owners after staying the night. When we gave our dog his first dose of medication, he was fearful and anxious with his tail between his legs as soon as he saw the syringe in my hand. We have given him medicine prior to his stay and he has not given a reaction like this before. They have lost his file at least twice now and having to call the humane society he was rescued from both times to recover his records. I would not recommend this vet to anyone.

Dr. Perella, Dr. Hicks and their entire staff are amazing! They recently performed surgery on one of our pups. Although she made it through the surgery just fine, we ended up having to euthanize her a couple of days later. Dr. Hicks took the time to explain the process to us. She allowed us plenty of time to say goodbye and was very sympathetic. She was there for us every step of the way.

Dr. Pope and her team were both kind and compassionate. Thankful for an affordable veterinary practice which warmly, welcomes walk-in patient! 💕

I like them and my gut tells me this is a good place but my dog had recent surgery and when he had his skin staples removed they missed one and I had to return to have it removed. I chalked it up to a simple miss, but my cat had to have a surgery as well and after the trip to have his staples removed, guess what?!? Another staple was left!!!! I was able to remove this one myself, but Im not very pleased. Its a simple thing to notate the number of staples used in the medical chart & then count them upon removal. I used to work for a vets office and we never had this issue.

The receptionist is very rude and rushes you off the phone. Also they say they accept walk ins but if you go down there, they might not be accepting anymore. It isn’t reliable.

Been going here for 3 years now and the staff is always great and professional. We love Dr. Katie McMaster! This time we dealt someone new Dr. Carrie Hicks, she was amazing! I hope shes a permanent addition because she was a delight.

Staff is wonderful and take extra special care of my fur babies. Beau loves going every day for daycare and I know hes always in great hands. Dr. McMaster has been so patient and wonderful in treating our dog, I could not more highly recommend this awesome team!

Going to reserve judgement until I see vet tomorrow. Boarded our dog here for the first time Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Just got him home today and my 13 year old was kissing him and rubbing him and noticed what looks like a split gum, red swollen. He pointed out to me and I asked him to also picture it so I could enlarge it to see as well. Can’t wait to take him back in tomorrow to see what happened to him as I was given no heads up. I was very disheartened because I knew our dog’s demeanor was off but, couldn’t figure out why. It took my son less than 10 minutes home to find what appears to be a split place on his gum very pink, very swollen. I’d show a picture but, can’t see where to add here.

My moms dog had a seizure (didnt know at the moment), and they were quick to get her in and do testing to see what happened and if there were lasting effects. They were quick and thorough.

This vets office used to be amazing but theyre just getting worse. I have my cat in boarding since theres something going on with my house and so I come in to visit. Every time I come in, I dont get greeted and it takes at least five minutes for anyone to ask what I need help with. It seems like the newer the staff, the worse this place gets. While my cat has been in boarding here, hes been getting a sore on the bottom of his paw and even though I mentioned it to them, its not getting better. When he runs low on food, they wait until he only has a couple of servings left before telling me. They even refuse to call me to notify me, the owner- they instead call my mother. As soon as I find a better vet, Im taking my business elsewhere.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The staff is awesome and the service is awesome! Wouldnt want to take our dog any other place!

We have been taking our dogs here since 2011 off and on because it is located nearby and every time we go, they cant find their files and its a big harassment. I also dont like the fact that they take the dogs out of the exam room to give them their shots. You dont really know if they are receiving them or not. We have decided to go to a more organized vets office that will make more of an effort to get to know our animals.

I have been several times and always have a good experience. The wait is usually short even for walk in visits in the afternoon. Having the later hours helps too. Prices are comparable or lower than others as well.

Little slow to see Dr. Parrella but didnt mind the wait. Not used to the vet examining my baby in a back room where I couldnt be with her. I moved to Columbus from Waverly Hall and needed a vet closer to my house. Staff seemed confused about what booster shots she needed even though they had her records from her previous vet. Waiting for my previous vet to fax her 3 year rabies certificate tok the longest. Shes a city girl now!

Dr. McMaster and the entire staff of CVMC are amazing. I adopted my dog about 13 years ago from a shelter after he was abused by his previous owner. He has always been timid and afraid of new people and places, but I feel very comfortable with the treatment he receives here. I would not board him anywhere else.

Outstanding service, reasonable price for the services required and outstanding Vet doctors.

They take the animal out of the room, so you never know if they get what you brought them in for or not. They dont explain what they did, nor do they provide details about medication and side effects. We took a rescue kitten here at 5 weeks of age for a check up and he tested FIV positive. Their response was that he was not likely to be adoptable, hed pass it to our other cat through the air (FIV cant be passed through the air!), and that he should just be put down! Called another vet for a second opinion, and they told us we had been given completely inaccurate information. Will never go back again!

The staff is unprofessional and ignored me when I came in. I only got a glare and wasnt even asked what I needed. Ive updated the phone number for them to call me while I have my cat in boarding here but theyre persistent on calling the wrong number literally every single time. Ive been a customer here ever since I got my cat about six years ago but lately Ive really been considering going to a different vet. This one is too expensive and the staff is horrible. My sisters cat had a mysterious sore appear on his leg and my moms dog got an ear infection when shes never had one before.

STAY AWAY IF YOU DONT WANT TO SPEND HUNDREDS EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!The first time i came to this clinic I walked out paying almost $300 for a couple pills and a cream. My dog had a superficial cut on her underside. Thats $300 i had to pay even though the office visit should have been complimentary seeing as how it was my first and their website states it clearly. Fast forward to today I tried to get more heartworm pills and a flea pill hoping they would help. NOPE! They then proceeded to tell me i had to bring my dog in for an office visit and get her tested to be heartworm negative. Mind you my dog has been heartworm positive for 2 years almost. I told the associates working the front desk 3 times she was heartworm positive and everytime they came back they said we have to know shes heartworm negative. If you cant manage to hire competent employees then you shouldnt be in business. If i could leave 0 stars I would. This vet is a joke.

I take my Shih Tzus here and they love the employees so much. They take such good care of them no matter what the case may be. This is one place I dont mide boarding them either. The vets are exceptional and I couldnt ask for better staff for my babies. They will be meeting my 3rd baby this week. I highly recommend them to anyone for their fur babies.

The practice seems competent, however it seems that patient care is mismanaged. Long wait times here to be the norm, even if you have an appointment. Most of the time when an animal is being evaluated, they take the animal to the doctor rather than the doctor coming to you. You dont have the benefit of being in the room when the doctor examines your pet. This seems awfully odd to me. You have to rely on that text to obtain all the necessary background and historical information to present to the doctor rather than you being able to tell them directly whats going on. Is this the new way of Animal Care? I hope not.

Can I just say I would give 100 stars if I could? They saved my babies life.CVMC is a great practice in itself, but they are truly blessed to have Dr. Hicks under their roof.To top everything off, they take exotics.. like my baby.My rat was dying.. Terrible infection that came out of nowhere.. I rushed him to them on Wednesday evening, right before they closed.. and they still took him. Even though I’m sure they were tired and wanted to go home. My baby was gasping for air, couldn’t walk and couldn’t lift his head.. The vet was very realistic with me and didn’t give me false hope, but told me that she sees miracles everyday.The next day I went up there, and he lived through the night. He was on oxygen, steroids and bronchodilators, but he was alive and that’s all that mattered to me. I was only allowed to see him for a minute because they didn’t want to kee him off oxygen for too long but he was in better spirits than the day before. Fast forward to Friday and he was walking and eating.. and breathing (some wheezing but nothing the antibiotics can’t knock out at this point). They took him off oxygen and nebulizer treatments for Friday night and he’s doing extremely well.I pick him up tomorrow (Sunday).Dr. Hicks sees miracles because she’s a miracle worker. Plain and simple.Oh, and I definitely don’t want to leave their staff out, they are all incredibly nice and compassionate. They worked with us on payments and everything and made us feel like our baby was a priority and not just a number.I highly recommend. We were using a different vet for our cats and dogs, but will promptly be changing to CVMC as our veterinarian.

The best part about CVMC is that anytime my family and I want to go out on the weekend CVMC takes her to boarding. Another thing I really love about CVMC is that they take care of rescued kittens.
