Joe did a great job installing gutters on the front and back of our house. He was able to work with us around the holiday schedule, and was one of the few contractors in the Columbus area that even had availability this time of year. He also did extra repair on some of our damaged roof shingling at no extra cost. Thanks again!

We had a major leak in our porch roof that had water streaming down. The team did their assessment and quote via phone and picture communications. They completed the work within hours and the roof looks great. I highly recommend them and will definitely look at using them again!

They forgot about their first appointment completely. For their second appointment, they said they would come by at 10AM and then got there at 4PM. Told me I needed an entirely new roof for 6K. Insurance said I didnt need a new roof, just a patch around the fireplace, so I had a third opinion roofer come out. This roofer agreed that I did not need a new roof, just a repair around the fireplace. They repaired the leak for $750.Edit: No, the roof did not leak in the storm yesterday. And you did not do it for free, you charged me $60.

After scheduling an appointment for 5:30 pm and getting MULTIPLE reminders that an appointment was pending, THEY did NOT show up!!!!I tried calling their phone number and it went to VM. I have tried multiple times the next day to call them and it also went to VM. They wasted my time, did not show up as scheduled, did not answer calls and I could not reschedule. I went to a competitor instead.I WOULD NOT recommend this company.

I used their website to schedule a repair, and didnt get contacted for the appointment scheduled. Not a problem I talked to them on the phone and was going to do something the following week. Next week I get a message through the website asking if I was available that day. I replied 3 minutes later confirming I was available all day. Never heard from them again after that.I contacted again weeks later with understanding that some people get busy, so if they couldnt fit me in they could just refund the money I pre-paid for my appointment. Never heard from them.Wait almost a full month later and left a voicemail requesting to refund my money. Still never heard back. Finally just disputed the charge through my credit card and got my money back. I would have been happy to just move on, but the fact that I had to dispute the charge just to get my money back after one and half months of no one showing compelled me to leave a review for others to be aware of the experience I had.

Cant say enough good things about Joe Tassoni. He came out to our house to hang rain gutters on the lower and upper level of our house. Before I decided to go with Weather Shielders he came out and did a thorough overview on the intended scope of work and gave me an estimate. The estimate was a little more expensive than the other company I contacted, but I can say the attention to detail, quality and expertise was worth paying a little more. I am very satisfied, worth every penny. Thank you!

When the worker came to install gutter...great job!When the worker came to do side work DISASTER!!!! CHARGED 250.00 to hang a gatethat only needed hanging! Did work on a window...had to have it redone!! Tried to rip my neighbor off on roofing work...his mother is a lawyer!When I reported this to the owner...he tried to bully me and then tried to make me sign a NON DISCLOSURE!!!!I am a senior citizen so this makes it even more dispicable!!BEWARE !!!

I’ve dealt with Shane many times in regards to roofing, gutters and miscellaneous jobs. In all 3 aspects the work provided has always been top notch. On top of that, every single estimate is itemized, listing out what will be used, quantity and price. There are VERY few contractors that will give you itemized estimates, most will just give you a round about number and without breaking down labor and material cost. They’re my number one choice when it comes to anything to do with roofing, gutters and siding.

We had our home for sale and one of our major investments was a complete replacement of the gutters and repair to the front fascia. We were former military and no longer lived in Columbus, so we had to make all arrangements from remote. Weather Shielders was awesome. They kept us up to date on the job and the jobsite was cleaned up afterward. We arrived the day after the job to work on the house and it was amazing how these bright white well-installed gutters gave the red brick house a face lift.Highly recommend!

Estimate appointment time 1pm. Approx 1:30pm, office was called by me. Said contractor was closing out another job, & had until 2pm to meet with me. 2:15pm, still no show. Attempt was made to call the office a 2nd time,resulting in no answer.Contractor didnt even inform me concerning estimated time of arrival. Not a good indicator of prompt professional service.

Hands down I would personally recommend Shane Wilson and his crew to anyone needing Roof Replacement (with or without insurance) Siding and Gutters! They also helped me with my chimney and built us a awesome cricket. Removed and replaced our Skylights from storm damage, Installed our interior doors and removed and replaced our wood windows with vinyl windows. They even replaced all of our rotten soffit and fascia after our roof. Last but certainly not least they ran out our custom 6in gutter in our front yard it was pretty awesome to see it all come together so seamlessly no pun intended. It rained all week and even though I felt like I would not get an immediate response Shane was right in it the very afternoon same day I called. He told me a timeline that he would be able to come and thats way more than even my cable company can do. I give them 5 stars!

Poor response by Shane. I called Shane to schedule an appointment, he got all my information address, phone #, first and last name and even email address. And told me that there will someone coming in couple of days. But there was no show and no call. When I called, he was taking to me as if he had no idea about the schedule. Then he told me that someone already came and gave an estimate. I don’t know where they went but they did not come to my house. I have no idea, how they have such a good rating, with this kind of poor response.

Called them about a roof leak because they appear to have mostly great reviews. I was told they could come out if there was a break in the weather. No problem, I could understand that because the rain had been off and on for a few days. I ended up setting up an appointment for them to come out a few days later after the weather cleared up. They gathered all my information and told me to expect them that morning.The morning of comes and no one calls or shows up. I called them to see what the hold up was and talked to a different person. I explain the situation above and the only thing I can gather is that no one was actually scheduled to come out since I wasnt given any real explanation. I was then told they would definitely have someone out, that they would be calling me back shortly, and that they would squeeze me in. None of which happened.I called them a few hours later. No one picked up and no one called me back after I left a message.Judging by other reviews, Im sure they do a good job when they show up, but I can only go by my experience.

They were so incredibly helpful in a time of need. I was so pleased with everything- quick to come over, give a quote (very reasonably priced) and even did the job all in the same day. On top of all of that, everyone was super friendly. Highly recommend!

I spoke with Shane and asked him to come give me a quote. He sounded very knowledgeable and I was excited to get to meet him and do business with him provided his pricing was good. Well time comes for him to meet me at the house and he doesn’t show. I give him a call and he said he had me confused with another customer named David. I’m ok with a mistake so I asked him to reschedule and we do for a later date and time. Again that time comes and he doesn’t show up, I wait an additional 30 minutes and decide to call him. He picks up and I asked him where he was. He tells me he had something come up (but he never called either of the two numbers he had from me). He offers to come out but I’ll need to pay a fee of $35 for the quote which was understood on my part. However if you stand me up twice you better wave that fee. So I ask him to wave that fee and he tells me that he won’t and I proceed to tell him he stood me up twice. He gets upset and talks like he doesn’t need the business. I’m sure we could’ve worked things out but at this point I’m mad. You can’t stand someone up twice then Expect them to bend their schedules and pay the original fee and still want my business.

Called Weather Shielders about a roof estimate and scheduled an appointment. Weather Shielders charges for doing an estimate, and I was prepared to pay for the estimate; however, the appointment date came and Weather Shielders did not call or show up at my house. I would not recommend doing business with a company who cannot be bothered to call you back to reschedule you for a service that they expect you to pay for.

Excellent customer service. The were available and came out to make the repairs to my vent stacks on very short notice. The pricing was very reasonable and the staff extremely courteous and punctual. I will most definitely use Weather Shielders for future repairs.

I made an appointment for an inspection over the phone. They scheduled it for a Sunday, even though they don’t usually work then. When my appointment time rolled around no one showed up and no one called. Monday, the next day, I called; they apologized and rescheduled me for Tuesday. Once again they failed to show up or call. I’m very disappointed.

We had a great experience with Weather Shielders. They replaced our gutter system and also our back deck. They came to quote our gutter job and while there, they offered to quote our deck project as well. They were impressive on every front: first to respond to our calls for quotes, came 2 days later, right on time, and submitted their quote before departing. They did a awesome job! I only called them to repair a leak, and they came out for free. And after their inspection, i was told the cause of the leak was from hail and i could get my roof replaced with no money out of pocket and Shane could even upgraded my roof from 20 year to 30 year shingles free of charge! I agree with many people here on google review about Weather Shielders Roofing company. Particularly, I was surprised by their prompt responses. I called them for a quote and they sent me a quote in several hours and it was the best deal out of several quotes among several companies. After I picked the color they installed the roof next day - since I just said that I wanted my roof to be replaced as soon as possible-. I dont know some people had a difficulty to contact them like they didnt call the customer back, but they were really responsive. The worker who installed my roof texted me right after he installed the roof and sent me the picture of the roof - this is my rental property. I was so lucky to choose a right company for my roof replacement. If I need any service for roof, I will call them again. Thank you for your good service. I am very dissatisfied with this company and the work they did on my house. I had two trees fall on my house after a bad storm last year. They came out to replace the roof and left a big gap under the gable, which now lets in leaves and other items from outside.After bringing this issue to the owner (Shane Wilson)s attention, he told me what should have been done when it was installed, however, did nothing to fix it, he just left the incorrect work done by his employees.I have tried to reach out to him several times, with no resolution. And because i already paid for the work, why would he come back right?I would advise to not use this company for any work that you need done on your home. The owner is not concerned about the quality of work that his employees do, nor the satisfaction of his customers.

I called scheduled an appointment for last Thursday between 1p and 4p. I called Shane back at 4p, and he assured me they were still coming out to give him an hour. No show, no call back. Its now Saturday and Im looking for a new roofer to do the job.

In 2012, rain was leaking through our ceiling so we called several roofing companies and handy mans. Some of them tried to fix the problem but ultimately failed. The others recommended that we replace the entire roof and gave us various price quotes for the job. We contacted Weather Shielders for a price quote but Shane climb to our roof and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. He said that we dont have to replace the roof for right now, but we should replace it after 2-3 years. Well, 3 years later, which is last week, we finally replaced our roof. Weather Shielders gave us the best price quote for the job, and they did outstanding work replacing all shingles and chimney side boards. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any type of work on their roof.

This company wouldnt have even received one star if I didnt have to mark it in order to put in a review. I reached out to the company a week ago and they scheduled an appointment for this morning for repair. The gentleman called yesterday and said they were able to come on out (It was around 1p). They came out and tried to measure for an entire new roof instead of repair costs. After letting him know we only needed a repair, he said he was heading back to the office to get the supplies needed, have the lady at the office call with a price and he would be right back out. Nevery heard anything back. The office isnt answering or returning my calls!!! I waited an entire week and its raining today! So much for repairing the leak in my house before the rain hit again! Smh!

They did an excellent job on my metal roof and gave me the best price. Shane came out and went over all of my options and gave me a detailed estimate. This is the only company I found that installs metal roofing according to manufactures specifications. They took care to pay attention to all of the little details and didnt cut corners. If you are looking for a roof replacement or upgrade, I would definately recomend that you give them a call.
