They are slow and lazy. Brokers know but say nothing. If you can, avoid this company. Good luck!

Not bad for a DC, came the night before the security told me to come next day at 5am, ( no overnight parking) he was very nice and checked if I do have an appointment, ( make sure you do have an appointment) my appointment was for 6am, checked in at 5 at the dock at 5:20, start unloading at 5:45. I guess I was so lucky only because it’s morning and they are not busy. Overnight parking by the Casino.

500 number building is horrible. My driver had an appointment at 8:00AM and he checked in at 7:30AM and it’s 5:35PM and still not unloaded. They are really rude to the drivers. Don’t pick up their load unless you like wasting your time. 0 stars.

The folks here know how to get you loaded & unloaded for the road!!! Arrived on time, had to go to 350 for check-in, was sent to dock fast, and was a super fast unload!! Bills were ready when I got the green light. Will definitely come here again while OTR!!!!

Gave three stars because of the employees are great. But unloading sucks takes too long, I was there from 8am my appointment to 2pm leaving. Have fun.

Had 7am appt. arrived at 500 receiving office at 6:58am. Told me come back half an hour later, they were taking the break. Looks like biglots employees are so tired that need break every hour?????

Arrived before appointment time.was immediately assigned a door.was my first stop on my load.was dropping off 14 skids there.each stop was divided by plywood and load bars.they unloaded the ENTIRE load.plywood and all thinking it was theirs.and when I advised them of their mistake they tried to make it out as someone elses fault.and it happens all the time.no big deal.they tore a few of the boxes for the next customer.very rude!

Delivering here is not as smooth as should be! Avoid by any means.6-8 hours. Make sure you have some food and drink with you, before you get in here.

They are very slow and taking a break every 1 hour,I had 8am appointment I get here at 7:30am the office was closed because they were on a break it’s 11:30 and am still waiting

6 hours to unload a trailer with furniture floor loaded with a forklift, where we load it they take 30 minutes to load by hand with a 2 wheel dolly. This takes way too long. We wont be coming back anytime soon!!

Dont expect to get out of here quickly. If you have more than one stop on your trailer make sure that they only take their freight.

Big Lots is the worst run business I have ever seen. From the corporate level on down, there is no direction, no goals and no policies and/or procedures that are followed to ensure a joyful shopping experience for customers, or a safe environment for employees. If you go to work for this company you will be instructed to work in positions that are much higher pay rates with no compensation. You will be provided a work schedule with as little as 24 hour notice. And will be working in the atmosphere of a singles bar at the Gaylord Location.

Terrible! Driver came an hour early than his appointment time at 8:00 am, and hes been waiting for 10 hours now! Its 5:30 pm and theyre still unloading the trailer. Dont believe the broker when they say it will take 3-4 hours. Expect to stay here all day.

Store 1682 is lazy rude, and miss informing about what they are selling they had a 20% discount day were everything was 20% off but the item i wanted to buy was already on sale so they didnt give me the 20% i was told it was already on sale when there sign said everything 20% off today only i did not purchase this item even store manager was rude then i tried to contact corporate office being calmly about the whole situation the operator sounded like he just woke up and didnt care then i have been on the phone for 2 hours and nothing but music worst experience i would not recommend for anyone to shop there.

This place has no clue on what they are doing. Went to pick up a preloaded trailer and they put my freight on a different companies trailer. Then they tell me that they are not going to fix it today and come back tomorrow.

To all you drivers complaining about company taking a long time to unload you. Only you can stop this your company is allowing them to do that to you. I use to work for a company that claimed they had up to 4 hrs to unload us which was bs you had to be 1 min over 5hrs to get paid detention. And you had to fight with them to pay you 12.50 for that hour smh. Now i work for a company that pays me after 1min over a hour and i usually get unloaded in less than a hour now. If not i get paid. Even at walmart. For example i got here 30 min early for a 0900 appt i left the dock at 0945. Yall need to find a company that will charge these companies and say no to these douchebag companys that use and abuse our time and money.

This is the second time I came here in about a year. Fast to unload, easy on appt rescheduling before or after original appt was set. Must have an appt. One star less, no overnight parking.

Easy to navigate to get here from the airport. Its a little dated, otherwise a typical office complex.

I can always pick up a few inexpensive items and its fast to get in and out.

Work at the warehouse so you know im being honest. Honestly its the best job ive had in a long time and great customer service at store.

The slowest distribution center on earth. It literally takes them 5 hours to unload a trailer every time I come here. Some of the front desk ppl in the building are extremely rude. Moral of the story it doesnt take 5 hours to unload a 53 ft trailer.

If i could give this company zero stars i would. bought a chest of drawers and nightstand from the big lots in spring, tx on sawdust road... i got it home and found the items COMPLETELY infested with roaches! not just a few... HUNDREDS! the managers of this store (john, scott and jasper) refused to work with me on this to get it out of my home (now infested with roaches). they also outright refused to give any contact information to get in contact with the district manager. to say the least, this is one of the worst companies ive ever dealt with. i will never return to a big lots location again.

Take too long to off load

Big Lots manager Phil of store #1192 in Arlington TX quotes fake federal laws and retaliates against customers who question his statements.This manager drove out a university professor out of the store and lost a $600 sale. No wonder Big Lots loses money. Anyone who thinks of investing in it, just look at the decisions of the employees.
