I was frustrated with trying to pin down a reliable computer person. After waiting for one week for a scheduled appointment I was notified a day or 2 before the appointed time that the person was called out of town and hed call upon return. He called a few days later and rescheduled 4 days later. I needed help last week. Luckily I got a recommendation from a friend of a friend who spoke highly of Friendly Computers. Called that day for an appointment and he was at my door the following day. Answered all my questions, fixed the problems and was great to talk to. I have his number stuck on my computer and will certainly call the next time I need help.

Im the IT Director for an investment bank in New York City and one of our partners had to relocate to Columbus, OH for a family emergency. He was there for an undetermined amount of time, but needed a computer set up as soon as possible. I did like every other human and googled computer techs in the area and Friendly Computers came up as a 5 star shop. I now understand why people love Marty. I was able to ship equipment to Columbus, where Marty really went above and beyond for us - it was no easy feat as there were issues with receiving the packages, entry to the apartment, etc..., but he got the job done! Marty is wonderful he repaired my laptop that we were ready to replace. He was fast kept me posted on what was happening. And very reasonable priced. It took him less than 24 hours I dropped it off and he delivered it to me. I can not say enough good stuff about him and this experience I k ow for sure I call him first instead of trying to fix it myself.

I was in a bind trying to upload photos (Im a photographer) when my camera software and laptop stopped working together. I was in a panic, as I had a client waiting on photos. I dont enjoy giving negative reviews to small, local businesses but I found it necessary here. I called friendly computers because it was less than a mile from my home. I would have gladly brought my computer to the business but the owner insisted hed come to me. The first day I set up an appointment he told me hed try to be at my home between 5-7. He called around 7 and said he couldnt make it. The next day he said hed be at my home from 4-7, which I found to be a large amount of time to wait for an appointment. About a quarter to 7 I called and he said he was 5 mins away. He showed up a short time later and tried to diagnose the issue with my laptop. After removing the RAM and hardrive he guessed it was the motherboard. So after waiting 2 days and a 10 min visit that probably diagnosed the issue but did not resolve anything I was charged over $100. I can forgive the waiting due to being a small business but there was no way the service was worth the price. Especially since nothing was officially diagnosed.

Marty was great and was very efficient. I had two problems and he was able to troubleshoot both in one hour. He really knows his way around the systems (I have Windows 10). The first issue was a printer issue that even when I went to the online computer HELP I was unable to solve. He solved that in about 10 minutes. The other was a corrupt data file that took a little longer but solved within the hour also! YEA! I am back on my computer for now and I will call him in the future for all computer issues.

Marty cleaned up from an e-mail hack efficiently & effectively and answered a zillion questions. Great service.

The response time was very prompt. I called late in the afternoon one day and he was here at 2pm the next day. Even though the problem burning data to cds was a user (me) error, an app was set up to make burning photos to cds super easy. That made my day. He also setup a backup external hard drive for my pc to automatically run only when new information has been added. I have used Friendly Computers several times over the last 2 years and I am very pleased with the service results. I am pleased with the service and work performed on my pc for repairs and updates and I highly recommend them for your pc needs. I plan to call them the next time I need help. I find them to be honest and trustworthy and reasonably priced.
