My dress only needed to be taken in on the sides and arms. Your attitude and demeanor was not professional at all.My personal dress alterations were fine, but the customer service needs work. When you know better you do better. I am sure this is not the first time someone has critiqued your professionalism skills. Just do better next time and stop making excuses.

I do not recommend this place for your alterations needs. They have a great representation on their website but when you go get their services they are absolutely unprofessional. They charge way too much for mediocre work. When you tell them your items still need more work they take it personally and claim that you are complaining about the service they did. They are absolutely horrible. If you see this take your money else where. Do not spend a dime here!!!

This woman over charges for horrible work. My wife had a dress altered there and it cost 209 dollars. The dress was only 100 bucks. She was very rude to my wife, even when my wife was crying she was very cold. Her customer service skills are horrible along with her ridiculous pricing.

This is my go to place for alterations. If you need a GI top or pants hemmed- this is the place to go! They do quality work and you can see in the attached photos how nice the line work is. Looks like this is how it came from the manufacturer. Prices are reasonable- extra 10$ for rush fee which is nice for the last minute things you need hemmed. Nice store attendants too, always greeted with a smile!

Very polite, professional staff who do great quality alterations with very little turn around time. The entire place including the fitting room was nice and clean. I provided a dress at the end of August which I needed altered per. It turned out that my dress was not able to be taken in, but the straps could be tightened so they took in the straps, got my dress back to me and the expense for it was minimal. They sent an text letting me know when my dress was ready to be picked up and everything was perfect. If you need alterations and have limited time Columbus Alterations Company will work with you without busting your wallet.

Brought in a skirt for zipper replacement. Staff was helpful and efficient. The repair itself was well done (looked like it was original) and also fixed a few related but not direct issues that arose from the broken zipper. Cost was decent. Would definitely go to them again.

Prompt. Wore masks and masks required. Cant review on the job as we had thought jeans could be upsized and they couldnt. No seam allowance for sizing up in jeans.

I needed a corset put in the back of my formal dress at the last minute. Just about everyone in Columbus was closed on a Monday except these guys. I read the reviews and thought I’d give them a try. I sent a text them from the Google app before 8am and I received a response in less than an hour with pricing! 😍 I needed the job rushed and the 4th of July was in the same week. I didn’t mind the rush fee. Did I mention my dress was red? I had concerns about fabric matching . Not only did I get my dress back in 3 days as promised (with a hand made corset), the fabric matched perfectly, and I received it earlier in the day than originally promised! The dress looked like it was purchased with the alterations! You couldn’t tell it hadn’t been purchased this way. Theyre fast, friendly, professional, thorough, and have a beautiful office space. I’m definitely using them from now on!

I had ordered a new tuxedo online & it was delivered on a Tuesday. I searched online for tailors & came across this company, which isnt that far away from where my wife works. I read the customer reviews, went to their Facebook page, and came away with some really good impressions. I called them Wednesday morning & asked for the pricing on hemming the slacks & if they had rush service available, as I needed the tux for a formal event that Saturday evening. The pricing was very reasonable, including the extra charge for rush service. The fitting went quickly, and the two people I dealt with there were very friendly & professional (Im wondering if theyre a husband/wife team). The following day, I got an email, confirming that my slacks were ready for pickup. I showed the slacks to my wife, who has some experience with sewing & she said it looked like the work was top-quality. Im very happy with the way I was treated, the work that was performed & the speed in which my order was processed. Ill be coming back to give them more work, as the sleeves of the jacket of that tuxedo combo could use shortened just a touch, and I have a couple of dress slacks that need hemmed, and the same for the sleeves on another suit jacket.

I believe they can make a pair of socks fit perfect. Im short and when I think Im giving them a challenge Ill get a call before the end of the day telling me my articles are ready for pick-up. Their same day service is amazing.

When I needed to have the lining of my winter overcoat replaced, I debated shipping it to my tailor in Philadelphia. All told, that was going to be an expensive process, so I got some local quotes. Taking in consideration of the reviews here, I decided to give Columbus Alteration Co. a try. I purchased a heavier lining than the one from the coat originally, and brought the material and coat in. They did an amazing job replacing the lining and I am thrilled with the results. I plan on bringing more garments in for repair or alterations and am even considering getting a proposal for some custom dresses. I am very pleased!

I’m extremely disappointed in my service I came here because of the reviews... thinking they must have a new staff. When I went in the first time not one person smiled and when I came back to pick up my dress I was treated extremely rude again. I’ve worked customer service my entire life and this was unacceptable. It made me uneasy and nervous just being in there. The pricing was extremely high also. I would not recommend this place.

I had a wonderful experience here. The building is located a bit off the beaten path, so this is a hidden gem. The seamstress (Shay, I think?) was incredibly kind, professional, and very timely with my alteration. I brought my wedding dress in about one month before my wedding. They helped me figure out a plan that didn’t make me feel like I was cutting it too close and they don’t overcharge the rush fee. The dress looked great! I would highly recommend them to anyone!
